Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in mathematical reasoning abilities of junior high school students using a constructivism approach assisted by animated videos on the comparison material of class VII MTsS Jabal Nur. The approach used in this research is a quantitative research approach with a quasi-experimental type of approach. The population in this study were all students of class VII consisting of 10 classes and the sample used was class VII-5 as the experimental class as many as 25 students and class VII-6 as the control class as many as 26 students. The experimental class students were taught using a constructivism approach assisted by animated videos, while the control class was taught using a scientific approach. The data was collected by giving a pretest-posttest and the data were analyzed using the t-test and obtained a result of 0.00. In accordance with the test criteria, the value in the sig column < 0.05 then is rejected. From the statistical significance of the t-test is 0.00 less than 0.05. Then is rejected, H_a is accepted. The results of the analysis of student responses to constructivism approach learning assisted by animated videos show that the overall average is in the very good category. This shows students that using a constructivism approach assisted by animated videos gets a positive response from students. The learning process using this approach can improve students ˜abilities in learning mathematics and can increase students desire to learn and student activity.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan Lhokseumawe dengan industrialisasi dan peningkatan populasi telah mengubah tata guna lahan dan memperburuk kualitas lingkungan, memicu Urban Heat Island akibat suhu tinggi, polusi udara dari lalu lintas padat, dan minimnya vegetasi. Taman kota sebagai ruang terbuka hijau adalah salah satu solusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan perkotaan, terutama mengendalikan kenyamanan termal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh pohon terhadap kenyamanan termal di Taman Lapangan Hiraq Lhokseumawe. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif evaluatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, di mana data mengenai suhu, kelembapan, dan kecepatan angin dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran langsung di lapangan. Analisis Key Performance Index (KPI) juga digunakan untuk menilai fungsi pohon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kenyamanan termal di Lapangan Hiraq secara umum tergolong "hangat," dengan suhu rata-rata 33.3°C, kelembapan 63%, dan kecepatan angin 2.478 m/s. Keberadaan pohon terbukti signifikan dalam mengendalikan suhu, kelembapan, dan kecepatan angin, dengan perbedaan mencolok antara area yang ternaungi dan tidak. Kesimpulannya, pohon memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan kenyamanan termal di taman kota, meskipun kondisi ideal secara keseluruhan di Lapangan Hiraq belum tercapai.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah, salah satunya disebabkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbantuan video animasi 3D berbasis Plotagon terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Lhokseumawe pada materi statistika, khususnya ukuran pemusatan data. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental nonequivalent control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 33 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas X-1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang telah divalidasi ahli dan mencakup indikator interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi. Data dianalisis melalui uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,018 < 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh signifikan penerapan pendekatan CTL berbantuan video animasi 3D berbasis Plotagon terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa.

Abstract

The application of artificial intelligence (AI) in mathematics learning at the high school (SMA) level is now an important innovation in the world of education. AI brings a number of benefits such as the ability to personalize the learning process, increase efficiency, and provide broad and fast access to learning materials. However, its utilization is inseparable from various challenges. This study aims to identify and analyze the problems of the use of AI in high school mathematics learning systematically through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA approach to 15 selected scientific articles. The results of the study show that the use of AI raises problems at various levels, especially in students who experience a decrease in critical thinking skills, creativity, and learning independence due to dependence on technology and an increasing tendency to plagiarism and procrastination. Meanwhile, from the side of teachers and educational institutions, obstacles were found in the form of low digital skills, limited training, lack of infrastructure, and the absence of a curriculum that accommodates the use of AI to the maximum. Although AI is well received by students, its use in schools is still very limited, reflecting a gap between potential and implementation. In addition, ethical aspects, data privacy, and changes in the role of teachers are important concerns. Therefore, collaboration across teachers, educational institutions, policy makers, and parents is needed to ensure the use of AI that is wise, ethical, and able to support the development of students' character and thinking abilities optimally.

Abstract

Permasalahan di lapangan berdasarkan survei pra kegiatan secara umum terkait ruang dapur rumah tinggal adalah masih minimnya pengetahuan penduduk Gampong Matang Kelayu Kecamatan Baktiya Kabupaten Aceh Utara terkait dengan ergonomi khususnya ergonomi dapur, dan penataan ruang dapur yang tidak mempertimbangkan aspek antropometri tubuh pengguna, yang dapat memberi dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan, kenyamanan dan keselamatan bekerja di dapur. Melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian dengan pendekatan edukatif terkait ergonomi dan antropometri serta memberikan rekomendasi ruang dapur yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemakai, maka kenyamanan, keselamatan kerja serta mengurangi kelelahan sehingga produktivitas kerja akan meningkat.

Abstract

Desa Uteunkot di Kecamatan Muara Dua memiliki potensi sumber daya alam berupa tanaman yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi bonsai. Namun, potensi ini belum termanfaatkan secara optimal untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tingginya angka pengangguran di kalangan usia produktif menjadi salah satu permasalahan utama yang perlu dicarikan solusi. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mentransformasikan seni bonsai dari sekadar hobi menjadi sebuah unit usaha produktif yang dapat menjadi sumber penghasilan alternatif bagi masyarakat. Melalui pelatihan intensif, masyarakat tidak hanya akan dibekali keterampilan teknis membentuk bonsai yang artistik, tetapi juga pengetahuan manajemen usaha, branding, dan pemasaran digital. Program ini diharapkan dapat memberdayakan masyarakat secara ekonomi, mengurangi angka kemiskinan, dan menjadikan Desa Uteunkot sebagai sentra bonsai yang dikenal di tingkat lokal maupun regional, yang pada akhirnya menciptakan siklus ekonomi berkelanjutan berbasis potensi lokal.
