Abstract

Rumoh Aceh is a lengthy process that extracts cultural values from the intelligence of the Acehnese people. In the past, the Acehnese people were unfamiliar with sophisticated tools for measuring dimensions, but they were familiar with the traditional measurement known as seunipat. The size of the body parts of the Rumoh Aceh owner serves as the benchmark, allowing for variations in the dimensions of the Rumoh Aceh column module. This study examines the application of anthropometry to Rumoh Aceh in the city of Lhokseumawe. The research methods applied are a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods. The research sample technique uses purposive sampling. This study focuses on three Acehnese rumohs, who are over 50 years old and still exist in physical form. We collected the data through field observation and a review of relevant literature. The measurement data will be analyzed by converting the measurement results into unipat dimensions and comparing the three Aceh rumohs. The study's findings demonstrate variations in the use of anthropometry, as evidenced by the variations in the research sample's column module, which stem from variations in the homeowner's body dimensions.

The name Peurelak is taken from the name of a wood that used to grow a lot in the Peureulak area. The Peurelak area, which is famous for producing agricultural products in the form of Perlak Wood, is also known by traders for plantation products, namely nutmeg and pepper. The popularity of the Peureulak area has made many traders from various countries come and trade in the area. Traders from abroad are more familiar with Peureulak as Bandar Peurelak, which means port. In addition to trading activities, Arab traders also spread Islam to the Peureulak community so that at that time the Peureulak people already understood and embraced Islam as the foundation of their life. After 50 years of securing Islamic teachings in the Peureulak area, in 840 AD the Peureulak Kingdom was officially established and Sultan Alaiddin Sayed Maulana Abdul Aziz Syah (840-860 AD) became the first leader of the Peureulak Kingdom. In order to remember the caliphs who had come to Bandar Peureulak, Bandar Peurelak was officially renamed Bandar Khalifah. Based on the events and results of the seminar, in the Bandar Khalifah area it can be ascertained that in that area there are several rooms where these spaces have functions based on the events that occur. The spaces that have this function are formed from the results of community activities in the Peureulak Kingdom. Therefore the purpose of this study is to explain the utilization of the spatial function of the Peureulak Kingdom by using a qualitative research method approach with two types of research, namely history and phenomenology.

Abstract

Students' interest and involvement in mathematics learning, particularly at the elementary school level, is often low due to the nature of the material that is considered difficult and less interesting. The gamification approach, which integrates elements of play into learning, emerges as a potential strategy to increase students' motivation and understanding of mathematical concepts. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of gamification in increasing learning interest and understanding of mathematics in elementary school students. This literature review was carried out by collecting, filtering, and analyzing various relevant previous research, using keywords such as "gamification", "elementaryschool mathematics learning", "student motivation", "educational technology", and "student collaboration". The results of the study show that the application of gamification in mathematics learning has a significant positive impact on student motivation and engagement, improves understanding of mathematical concepts, and facilitates collaborative skills. The implication of these findings is that educators should consider integrating technology-based gamification in the math curriculum, in order to create a learning experience that is more adaptive and relevant to students' needs.
