Abstract

Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar matematika dengan pendekatan PMRI (Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia) materi Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel untuk Siswa Kelas VIII. Pengembangan bahan ajar ini menggunakan model pengembangan Sadiman yang meliputi 7 tahap yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan siswa dan guru, merumuskan tujuan instruksional, merumuskan butir-butir materi, perumusan alat ukur keberhasilan, penulisan naskah, tes/uji coba dan mengadakan revisi. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa bahan ajar matematika yang telah di validasi. Validator ahli materi menyatakan cukup valid dengan presentase skor 72,71%, ahli desain menyatakan valid dengan presentase skor 82,49%, ahli praktisi menyatakan cukup valid dengan presentase 75%. Sedangkan hasil uji coba pengguna (user) menyatakan cukup valid dengan presentase skor 77,49%. Dengan demikina, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangakan sudah cukup valid untuk digunakan dalam pembalajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis berdasarkan resiliensi matematis siswa yang memiliki kegemaran bidang seni kaligrafi. Subjek penelitian merupakan siswa kelas IX SMP/MTs yang bertempat tinggal dan berstatus sebagai santri di Ma’had Tarbiyah Islamiyah Dar Al-Hikmah yang mengikuti ekstrakulikuler kaligrafi yang kemudian dipilih sesuai dengan klasifikasi tingkat resiliensi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu tes, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian disajikan berdasarkan setiap indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang memiliki empat indikator, yaitu: kemampuan berpikir lancar, kemampuan berpikir luwes, kemampuan berpikir orisinal, dan kemampuan berpikir memperinci, setiap subjek yang telah dipilih berdasarkan klasifikasi resiliensi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah, yang kemudian mendeskripsikan bagaimana penyelesaian masalah yang dilakukan oleh masing-masing subjek penelitian. Hasil dari pembahasan dapat diketahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang dimiliki oleh subjek yang memiliki resiliensi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah.

Abstract

Science is the most essential component that human beings must have because they can distinguish between right and wrong only with science. Allah Almighty gives gifts to humans in the form of reason that can be used to think and develop the science that Allah has created. In Allah’s verse, Surah Al-Mujadalah, verse 11, it is stated that Allah will elevate the degree of a knowledgeable man. Therefore, Muslims are obliged by law to seek knowledge by using the Qur’an and Sunnah as guidelines. Understanding the content of the Qur’an was also necessary; thus, scholars revealed the content of the Qur’an through the stories in the Qur’an. This article discussed the stories in the Qur’an and their integration into mathematics education through story-based methods. The research reason, i.e., many children and the public perception that learning mathematics was not necessary and assumed that mathematics was difficult to understand. This article proposed solutions to overcome these problems through the story method because the stories’ knowledge conveyed would be easier to understand and stuck in the minds of children and society where the story was taken from the stories in the Qur’an.

Abstract

The mathematical creative thinking skill is crucial in learning mathematics. However, the problem encountered in learning mathematics in class VII-B at SMP (Junior High School) Wahid Hasyim Malang was that the teacher did not involve students in exploring and providing opportunities to improve mathematical creative thinking skills. In overcoming this problem, the researcher applied the Jucama learning model assisted by tangram media on plane figure material. This research design was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consisted of (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. The research subjects were 30 students in class VII-B SMP Wahid Hasyim. Data was collected through teacher and student activity observations, end-of-cycle test results, and questionnaires. This research was conducted in two cycles, with two meetings. The results indicated an increase in the percentage of observations of teacher and student activities, end-of-cycle test results, and questionnaire results. The results of observations of teacher activities in cycle I reached an average percentage of 75%, while in cycle II, it increased to 86.875%. The results of observing student activities in the first cycle reached a percentage of 73.125%, while in the second cycle, it increased to 85.75%. The end-of-cycle I test results showed that the completeness of student learning outcomes attained 63.33% with an average class score of 72. In comparison, the completeness of student learning outcomes in cycle II increased to 86.67%, with an average class score of 83.47. The results of the questionnaire in cycle I indicated that the percentage of success reached 46.67%, while in cycle II, the questionnaire results increased, with the percentage of success attaining 83.33%. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be implied that applying the JUCAMA learning model assisted by tangram media could improve the mathematical creative thinking skill of class VII-B students of SMP Wahid Hasyim Malang in the plane figure material.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce valid, practical, and effective senior high school mathematics learning tools through problem-based learning with a Culturally Responsive Teaching approach. The research employed a 4-D model, consisting of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The research subjects were 36 students in Class X-4 of SMAN 3 Lumajang for the 2022/2023 academic year. The learning tools outcomes included teaching modules, students’ worksheets (LKPD), student activity observation sheets, and test questions. The established criteria revealed that the learning tools outcomes were valid, effective, and practical. Hopefully, further research could develop more varied learning tools regarding materials, learning models, and integrated culture.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the use of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model and Liveworksheet media can improve mathematics learning outcomes in class X.8 of SMAN Balung Jember. This research is classroom action research with research instruments namely interview sheets, observation sheets, and learning outcome measurement sheets. The data analysis technique used is quantitative data in the form of numbers and quantitative descriptive in the form of an explanation of the results of the numbers. Then it is explained in a comparative descriptive manner, namely comparing the test scores before the pre-cycle with the inter-cycle scores after the action was given. This research increased from pre-cycle, cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III, namely 64%. The results can be concluded that by using the PBL model for learning opportunities, the learning outcomes of class X.8 students at SMAN Balung Jember can be improved.

Abstract

The research aims to improve students’ Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability (KPMM) by applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Augmented Reality media. This research was a collaborative or participatory classroom action research and involved researchers, mathematics educators, colleagues, and students in grade IX of SMP Islam Muallimin Kediri in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research instruments consisted of learning devices and data collection instruments. The learning devices employed the Lesson Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and AR-Build Space Media. Meanwhile, data collection instruments were observation sheets, interviews, and KPMM tests. Data analysis was conducted descriptively comparatively. The results indicated that implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Augmented Reality media significantly increased students’ KPMM, with the average class value increasing from 56.75 in cycle I to 73.87 in cycle II. In short, the implementation of the PBL model assisted by augmented reality media could increase the KPMM of SMP Islam Muallimin Kediri’s students in grade IX.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are one of the Indonesian instructive educate that utilize formal and informal curricula. In their learning activities, some students have difficulty taking formal subjects, especially a subject in this research, namely mathematics. This research aimed to develop an Islamic-based mathematics learning model for Islamic boarding school students to suit the students’ needs. The research design was Research Development. Information collection was carried out through interviews, questionnaires, tests, and perception sheets. The research results from the try- out of an Islamic boarding school student mathematics learning model that integrated mathematics with Qur’an values had a significant effect on learning outcomes and increased student motivation in learning. Therefore, this learning model was very feasible and suitable to be implemented for Islamic boarding school students.

Abstract

Project Based Learning. merupakan model pembelajaran untuk memecahkan segala permasalahan dengan menyusun suatu proyek yang terstruktur sehingga peserta didik dapat aktif belajar bersama pendidik. Mengembangkan skema terapan melalui Weekly Project of Problem atau bisa disingkat dengan W-PoP agar berkesinambungan dengan model Project Based Learning sehingga membangkitkan interaksi belajar namun tidak terpusat pada pendidik. . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah skema Weekly Project of Problem, mendeskripsikan kelayakan Weekly Project of Problem berbasis PjBL dan mengetahui pengaruh skema Weekly Project of Problem untuk mengembangkan kemampuan bermatematika dan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Bululawang sebagai pendukung merdeka belajar. Metode Research & Development (R&D) padapenelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: a) analisis awal, b) perencanaan media pembelajaran, c) pengembangan prototipe, d) implementasi, e) Diseminasi dan sosialisasi produk akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Skema Weekly Project of Problem berbasis Project Based Learning telah dikembangkan sesuai dengan konsep Borg & Gall, (2) dinyatakan layak oleh 3 guru penguji penelitian dengan menghasilkan rerata nilai 85, (3) berdasarkan perbandingan pretest, posttest dan paired sample t-test dari penerapan skema Weekly Project of Problem berbasis Project Based Learning telah memberikan pengaruh pada pembelajaran yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of students' critical thinking skills in solving mathematical problems discussed from mathematical beliefs. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. This research was carried out at MTs Roudlotul Muta'abbidin Payaman, Lamongan. The selection of subjects in this study was carried out by purposive sampling method, namely the selection with certain considerations. The research subjects were selected based on the high, medium, and low levels of mathematical belief as seen from the results of the questionnaire. The instruments used in this study were a mathematical confidence questionnaire, critical thinking skills test questions, and interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Students with mathematical confidence have very good critical thinking skills, namely meeting the indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference, 2) students with moderate mathematical belief categories have good enough critical thinking skills, namely meeting indicators of interpretation, analysis, and evaluation, and 3) students with low mathematical confidence categories have the ability to think critically, namely meeting the evaluation and inference indicators.
