Abstract

The transition of students from high school to college experiences several differences including learning methods, learning materials, and new environments. Adaptation or self-adjustment is needed in new students, from existing adaptations, it is developed to understand accounting courses because accounting is important for the world of work for both educators and non-educators. Initial observations made by students have good GPA scores, have good relationships with each other, but are still not maximized in the value of accounting course assignments, and still experience psychological problems when doing assignments. The population used in this study is 2nd-semester students majoring in development economics who have taken introductory accounting and financial accounting courses. The sampling technique used a random sampling system of 92 students. Data collection using questionnaires and test tests. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics, inner model, outer model, path analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with Smart-PLS 4. The results showed that the direct effect, namely: variable X1 has no effect on Y, variable X2 has an effect on Y, variable X3 has an effect on Y, variable X1 has no effect on Z, variable X2 has an effect on Z, variable X3 has an effect on Z and variable Y has an effect on Z while in indirect effects, namely: variable X1 has no effect on Y through Z, variable X2 affects Y through Z and variable X3 affects Y through Z

Abstract

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the influence of workplace stress as well as work-life balance on employees' performance at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) through the mediation of job satisfaction. This research aims to investigate the effect of implementing remote work at DGT during the COVID-19 epidemic, specifically focusing on the potential effects of increased stress, work-life imbalance, as well as decreased employee performance. This study employed a quantitative approach, involving 504 employees of DGT, who were selected as respondents from diverse backgrounds in terms of age, education, marital status, length of service, as well as position. The respondents were located across several regions of Indonesia. Multiple linear regression as well as path analysis are employed for analysis, along with statistical testing utilizing the t-test as well as F-test. The results of the hypothesis test indicated a significant as well as unfavorable effect of job stress on both job satisfaction as well as performance. The equilibrium among work as well as personal life has a notable as well as beneficial influence on both job contentment as well as productivity. Job satisfaction could serve as a mediator in the connection among job stress as well as work-life balance, influencing the job performance of DGT personnel.

Abstract

It is time for the younger generation to change their perspective, do not just think about becoming an employee after graduating from college, let alone a public servant, becoming an entrepreneur needs to be considered as an option. The hope of being accepted into the world of work is certainly not a mistake, but it cannot be denied that job opportunities are very limited and not directly proportional. This study uses a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to predict and confirm the hypothesis given. This study uses Google Forms to collect data on private vocational students in Mojokerto Regency. Respondents in this study were 319 respondents who were used as research objects. The results showed that entrepreneurship education cannot explain entrepreneurial attitudes. Likewise, the demographic environment variable cannot explain entrepreneurial interest. Furthermore, the demographic environment will have more influence on entrepreneurial interest, if reinforced by entrepreneurial attitude as a mediator variable. While entrepreneurship education will not have a greater influence on entrepreneurial interest, although strengthened by entrepreneurial attitude as a mediator variable.

Abstract

Work and energy are fundamental topics in physics. However, enhancing students’ critical thinking skills in these areas remains a challenge. This research aimed to develop and assess the validity and readability of e-modules designed with PjBL-STEAM and virtual simulation media to address this issue. The development process followed a 4D model, and the resulting e-modules were evaluated as strongly valid category. The validation tests yielded percentage scores of 91.6% for media, 89.3% for content, and 88.0% for lesson plans. Additionally, the readability test achieved a score of 84.6%, indicating a excellent level of comprehensibility. These findings suggest that the e-modules based on PjBL-STEAM with integrated virtual simulation media are well-suited for use in physics education, particularly for improving students’ critical thinking skills.DOI: 10.17977/jps.v12i32024p093
