Abstract

[Morpho-physiologcal Characters of Okra Leaf (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) on Various Different Application of Fertilizers through Minus One Test]Buah okra dikenal sebagai bahan pangan fungsional karena mengandung serat pangan tak larut dan larut, serta mengandung metabolit sekunder berupa senyawa fenolik dan  flavonoid yang bersifat antioksidan. Salah satu faktor penentu dalam budidaya tanaman okra adalah pemupukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan informasi tentang pengaruh pemupukan dengan metode minus one test terhadap karakter morfofisiologi daun okra. Percobaan dilaksanakan di tanah latosol di Kebun Percobaan IPB Leuwikopo, Dramaga, Bogor (250 m dpl.) pada bulan Juli – Oktober 2018. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam percobaan  ini ialah Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) dengan satu faktor tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan pemupukan terdiri atas tanpa pemupukan, NPK + pupuk kandang, NPK, NP (-K), NK (-P), dan PK (-N). Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa nilai peubah morfologi yang diamati tidak berbeda nyata antarperlakuan. Peubah fisiologi yang berbeda nyata ditemukan pada hara Mg. Secara umum belum dapat ditentukan satu unsur hara terpenting yang terbukti dapat menjadi pembatas bagi morfofisiologi daun okra. Nilai rerata karakteristik daun dan laju pertumbuhan pada tanaman okra yang mendapat perlakuan tanpa pemupukan dan kurang N lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. KeywordsOkra (Abelmoschus esculentus L); Morfologi daun; PupukAbstractOkra fruit is known as a functional food mainly because it contains insoluble and soluble food fiber, and have secondary metabolites such as phenolics, and flavonoids that have antioxidant effects. Fertilization is one of the determining factors in for plant growth, but the limiting nutrient involving plant growth and production has not well known yet. This study was conducted using minus one test on NPK fertilization. The objectives of this research are to obtain information about the effect of fertilization with the minus one test method on the morphophysiological character of okra leaves. The experiment was carried out in latosol soil in the IPB Leuwikopo Experiment Garden, Dramaga, Bogor (250 m asl, ) in July – October 2018. The experimental design used in this experiment was the Randomized Complete Group Design (RCBD) with one factor and three replications. Fertilization treatment consisted of no fertilization, NPK + manure, NPK, NP (-K), NK (-P), and PK (-N). The results showed, that morphological values were not significantly different between treatments. Significantly different among the physiological variables were found in the results of Mg nutrient analysis. Generally, that one important nutrients that could be a limitation for the growth of okra plants could not be determined. There were indication, that based on the average value of leaf characteristics and growth rate, okra plants that were treated without fertilization and minus N tended to be lower compared to other treatments.

Abstract

A performance measurement model is a necessary tool for highland vegetables supply chain performance improve- ment in West Java. The performance measurement is conducted to support an objective planning, a performance evaluation, and determination of the future steps in strategical, tactical and operational levels. This study used system approach which is supported by Exponential Comparison Method (ECM) for the selection of superior products;  the combination of the SCOR Model with the Fuzzy AHP to design performance metrics; the Data Envelopment Analy- sis (DEA) for performance measurement; and the SWOT analysis to formulate the strategy for increasing the supply chain performance. The result of the ECM showed three commodities with the highest value i.e. Papprica, Lettuce Head and Broccoli. The combined SCOR - Fuzzy AHP analysis produced the performance metric values as follows: delivery performance (0.111), compliance to quality standards (0.299), order fulfillment performance (0.182), order leadtime (0.068), order fulfillment cycle time (0.080), supply chain flexibility (0.052), the SCM cost (0.086), cash-to- cash cycle time (0.080), and the daily stock (0.048). The supply chain performance measurement for Lettuce with the DEA approach indicated that the farmers had not been 100% efficient. While at the company level, the supply chain performance measurement of Lettuce crop and fresh cut showed the efficiency performance of 100 %.  Eventually, the SWOT strategy analysis on the Lettuce lead to the following recommendations to improve the performance:1) use hydrophonic cultivation technology and reduce excessive pesticides, 2) optimize the planting and harvesting schedules considering the climate; 3)  increase the responsiveness and the flexibility in meeting consumer orders, and 4) imple- ment the required standard quality assurance and management systems to ensure the consistency of the product quality and acceptability by the consumers.ABSTRAKModel pengukuran kinerja sangat diperlukan sebagai alat untuk peningkatan kinerja rantai pasok sayuran dataran tinggi di Jawa Barat. Pengukuran kinerja dapat mendukung perencanaan tujuan, evaluasi kinerja, perumusan kebijakan strategik, taktis dan operasional rantai pasok. Studi ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan sistem yang didukung dengan Teknik/Metode Perbandingan Eksponensial (MPE) untuk menyeleksi komoditi prioritas, kombinasi teknik SCOR dan Fuzzy AHP digunakan untuk merancang metrik pengukuran kinerja, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) untuk pen- gukuran kinerja individu anggota rantai pasok dan analisis SWOT untuk merumuskan strategi peningkatan kinerja ran- tai pasok. Hasil MPE menunjukkan bahwa 3 (tiga) komoditas yang diunggulkan adalah Paprika, Lettuce dan Brokoli. Kombinasi SCOR - Fuzzy AHP menghasilkan bobot metrik kinerja rantai pasok: kinerja pengiriman (0,111), Kesesua- ian dengan standar kualitas (0,299), kinerja pemenuhan pesanan (0,182), waktu tunggu pesanan (0.068), pemenuhan siklus pesanan (0,080), fleksibilitas rantai pasok (0,052), biaya manajemen rantai pasok (0,086), siklus pembayaran tunai (0,080), dan stok harian (0.048). Pengukuran kinerja rantai pasok komoditi lettuce dengan teknik DEA menun- jukkan bahwa kinerja efisiensi petani belum mencapai 100 %. Kinerja efisiensi perusahaan pada kasus komoditi lettuce dan sayuran segar potong telah mencapai 100%. Analisa SWOT merekomendasikan strategi untuk peningkatan kinerja rantai pasok lettuce sebagai berikut: 1) penggunaan teknologi hidroponik dan pengurangan penggunaan pestisida, 2) optimasi penjadwalan penanaman dan pemanenan dengan memperhatikan iklim, 3)  peningkatan fleksibilitas dalam pemenuhan pesanan, dan 4) penerapan standar manajemen penjaminan kualitas untuk menjamin konsistensi kualitas produk dan penerimaan produk oleh konsumen.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to determine the effect of glyphosate herbicides on growth and yield of corn. This experiments was conducted at Sindang Barang Farm, Bogor from April to August 2013. This experiment used a Randomized Block Design with one factor namely dose of active ingredient glyphosate herbicide. The experiment consisted of 5 treatments such as control, and herbicide with doses 3, 4, 5, and 6 l ha-1. Plot size was 4 x 4 m, with plant spacing of 70 x 20 cm. Plots were treated on week before planting. Growth and yield of corn were influenced by herbicide treatments. Herbicide treatment at doses of 4 l ha-1 to produce seed growth, number of leaves, plant height, and leaf area the highest compared with other treatments. Similiar results also occur in the yield parameters of corn. Increased herbicide doses above 4 l ha-1 lower the better outcomes observed that variable growth and yield of corn. Based on glyphosate residue analysis indicated that each treatments contained residues of glyphosate. Herbicide treatment doses of 6 l ha-1 showed the highest residual value compared with other treatments. Based on glyphosate residue analysis in this research is still below the minimum limits of residue.

Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is largely cultivated in lowland area that vulnerable to flood occurrence. Root supposed to play an important role on rice tolerance to submergence stress. An experiment which conducted from January to May 2014 in Cikarawang Field Laboratory, Darmaga, Bogor, West Java aimed to study the role of root distribution on rice submergence tolerant. The experiment used Split Plot design replicated three times, with the depth of submergence as main plot and rice variety as subplot. The main plot consisted of  water depth of 5 cm (optimum), 50 cm, 60 cm and 80 cm from soil surface. The subplot consisted of four rice varieties, namely Ciherang, Inpari 30 (Ciherang Sub1), Indragiri and Margasari. Each plant was planted in a root box (30 cm x 40 cm x 5 cm) which put into container (67 cm x 47 cm x 42 cm) and placed into the pond with water depth as treatment. Submergence started when the plant was 39 DAS (Days After Seeding) for ten days. Observation conducted after the submergence stopped (49 DAS). Result showed that submergence retarded plant growth, root distribution and increase root damage for all rice varieties with the biggest effect on susceptible varieties.

Abstract

Jeruk pamelo mengandung senyawa antioksidan, antihiperlipidemik, antidiabetik, protein, kalsium dan senyawa bermanfaat lainnya. Indonesia memiliki dua musim, yakni musim penghujan dan musim kemarau. Musim dan ketersediaan air mempengaruhi ketersediaan hara tanaman dan kualitas buah yang dihasilkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji perbedaan kualitas buah pamelo yang dipanen pada dua musim, yakni musim penghujan dan musim kemarau. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2018 sampai September 2019 menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) 1 faktor yaitu musim. Bahan penelitian menggunakan kultivar Adas Duku yang buahnya dipanen pada musim penghujan dan kemarau. Pengamatan lingkungan dilakukan pada suhu, relative humidity (RH) dan curah hujan. Peubah yang diamati meliputi diameter buah panen secara membujur dan melintang (cm), bobot buah panen (g), tebal kulit buah (cm), jumlah biji (biji), bagian dapat dimakan (BDD) (%), padatan terlarut total (PTT) dalam satuan ºBrix, asam tertitrasi total (ATT) dalam satuan %, rasio PTT/ATT, Vitamin C mg/100 mL dan IC50 dalam %. Buah panen yang diperoleh berukuran lebih besar pada musim penghujan dibandingkan musim kemarau namun buah yang dipanen kemarau memiliki PTT, ATT dan kapasitas antioksidan yang lebih tinggi daripada buah yang dipanen musim penghujan.

Abstract

Jeruk pamelo di Indonesia terbagi menjadi kelompok berbiji dan tidak berbiji. Beberapa kultivar jeruk pamelo memiliki kemiripan yang tinggi sehingga sulit untuk dibedakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji secara detail karakter morfologi daru beberapa kultivar jeruk pamelo berbiji dan tidak berbiji. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2018 sampai September 2019. Desain percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan satu faktor, yaitu kultivar.  Empat kultivar yang digunakan adalah kelompok berbiji (Adas Duku dan Bali Merah 1) serta kelompok tidak berbiji (Bali Merah 2 dan Jawa 1). Bentuk buah pada kedua kelompok dapat dibedakan karena kelompok tidak berbiji bentuknya pyriform, sedangkan yang berbiji berbentuk spheroid-ellipsoid. Bali Merah 1 dan Bali Merah 2 memiliki bulu pada kulit buahnya. Bulu pada kulit buah sudah ada sejak fruitset sampai buah panen. Warna biji keempat kultivar adalah putih kecoklatan. Biji dari Adas Duku berbentuk ovoid atau semi-spheroid, Bali Merah 1 bentuknya ovoid, Bali Merah 2 berbentuk spheroid, dan Jawa 1 bentuk bijinya adalah fusiform. Ukuran biji paling panjang dari keempat kultivar adalah Jawa 1, namun memiliki lebar biji paling kecil.

Abstract

Flood is one of the major environmental constraints that may harm plant productivity which requires specific mechanism to cope with stress. Flood prone area where rice is major crop to be cultivated, transplanting method on cultivation system cost high labor with consequence on low seedling survival. Direct seeding may offer solution for this condition with additional improvement needed on seed tolerant to germinate on anaerobic environment. An experiment was conducted to evaluate 23 rice varieties of tolerance to flooding stress on germination stage under 5 cm water depth. The experiment design was Nested – Randomized Complete Block Design with two factor and three replications. Result showed that rice germination under anaerobic condition was varied with Lambur has highest survival rates among others. Tolerance level was characterized from higher survival ability followed by high biomass accumulation and length of the shoot and root.Keywords: anaerobic germination, direct seeding

Abstract

Since global issues (i.e. disruption technology and sustainability) attracted the attention of agricultural system researchers and company, innovation system plays a significant role in the development of agricultural downstream supply chain, in order to make agriculture business sustain. Hence, researches in innovation system for agricultural downstream supply chain are very important in dealing with these challenges. The aim of this paper is to investigate the current state of researches, current development, gaps and provide guidance for future research of innovation system and agricultural downstream supply chain research field. A systematic literature review was conducted to achieve the research goal. After applying some relevant keywords filter and including some relevant papers published in the field, 110 papers addressing the innovation system in agricultural downstream supply chain are identified for review analysis. Afterwards, the selected papers are categorized according to the topic and keyword considered. From this classification, current research and gaps in the existing literature are analysed and derived to make a current research state of innovation system (IS) and its development-relationship with agricultural downstream supply chain (ADSC) research area. Then, Potential areas guidance for future research are suggested for the development of technology diffusion and stakeholder interaction through innovation system, in order to make ADSC facing technology disruption

Abstract

Pemilihan pemasok merupakan salah satu hal krusial dalam kegiatan rantai pasok. Pentingnya pemilihan pemasok sangat berpengaruh pada kualitas dan ketersediaan suatu produk. Pemasok kemasan pudak dalam memenuhi kebutuhan kemasan pudak belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan pemilihan pemasok yang berbasis Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). MCDM yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Peran AHP pada penelitian ini yaitu menentukan pemasok terbaik yang ada di Industri Pudak Gresik. Penentuan pemasok terbaik berdasarkan pada kinerja tiap pemasok. Ada 4 pemasok yang bekerja sama dengan industri pudak. Penelitian ini menggunakan kriteria berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan pemangku kepentingan di industry pudak Gresik. Kriteria terdiri dari harga, kualitas, pengiriman, dan pelayanan. Penyelesaian menggunakan metode AHP terhadap 4 pemasok telah mendapatkan nilai ranking pada masing-masing pemasok. Pemasok A merupakan prioritas pemasok terbaik dengan nilai tertinggi yaitu 0,379. Analisis sesnsitivitas menghasilkan nilai peringkat dari pemasok konsisten walaupun dilakukan perubahan bobot pada kriteria secara upward change maupun downward change. Penelitian ini mampu menentukan supplier terbaik dan meningkatkan kinerja pemasok di masa yang akan datang.
