Abstract

The student counseling process is the spearhead of character development proclaimed by the government through education regulation number 20 of 2018 concerning strengthening character education. Counseling at the secondary school level carries out to attend to these problems that might resolve with a decision support system. So that makes research challenging to measure completion on target because it is not doing based on data. The counseling teacher does not know about student's mental and emotional health conditions, so it is often wrong to handle them. Therefore, we need a system that can recognize conditions and provide recommendations for managing problems and predicting students who have potential issues. The Algorithm used to predict problem students is K-Nearest Neighbor with a dataset of 100 students. The stages of predictive calculation are data collection, data cleaning, simulation, and accuracy evaluation. Meanwhile, building the system is done using the rapid application development methodology where the instrument used to map the student's condition is the Strenght and Difficulties Questionaire instrument. This research is a system to predict problem students with an accuracy rate of 83%. The level of user experience based on the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) results in the conclusion that the system reaches "Above Average.". This system is expecting to help counseling teachers implement an early warning system, help students know learning modalities, and help parents recognize the child's personality better.

Abstract

Maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of electronic documents is essential in the modern digital age. In the contemporary digital world, digital signatures are essential for safeguarding and legalizing electronic documents. The current issue, however, goes beyond digital signatures and instead centers on enhancing security and data integrity. Therefore, RSA and AES-128 super-encryption is required in QR-code-based digital signature techniques for document legalization. This research stage entails constructing a super encryption algorithm, testing it experimentally for security and performance, and designing a digital signature system using RSA and AES-128 super encryption. The results of this research show that the use of RSA and AES super encryption has been proven to have better performance in data security, where the encryption and decryption process time is relatively close to the RSA encryption time, and the comparison of entropy values is better than RSA and AES-128. So, the combination of Super RSA and AES-128 encryption can increase the security level of electronic documents and reduce the risk of hacking. Moreover, the proposed QR-code-based digital signature scheme is also very efficient regarding file size and processing time.

Abstract

Text pre-processing plays a crucial role in the Sentiment Analysis process. Machine Learning models like Chat GPT-3.5 by OpenAI and Google Bard serve as alternative methods for text pre-processing. This study aims to evaluate the capabilities of both Chatbots in the text pre-processing stage while assessing their performance using a dataset obtained by crawling from source X. The study involves a comparison of Chat GPT-3.5 and Google Bard using Decision Tree and Naïve Bayes algorithms. The validation process employs K-Fold Cross Validation with a K value of 10. Additionally, three sampling methods, namely Linear, Shuffled, and Stratified Sampling, are utilized. The findings reveal that Chat GPT-3.5 performs best when using the Decision Tree algorithm with a K-Fold Cross value of 10, and employing Stratified Sampling, achieving an Accuracy of 90.68%, Precision of 90.63%, and Recall of 100%. On the other hand, Google Bard's optimal performance is achieved with the Decision Tree algorithm, a K-Fold Cross value of 10, and Shuffled Sampling, resulting in an Accuracy of 74.00%, Precision of 72.73%, and Recall of 98.77%. The study concludes that Chat GPT-3.5 and Google Bard are viable alternatives for text pre-processing in Sentiment Analysis. Performance measurements indicate that Chat GPT-3.5 outperforms Google Bard, achieving an Accuracy of 90.68%, Precision of 90.63%, and Recall of 100%. These results were validated by comparing them to human annotations, which achieved an accuracy score of 85.20%, Precision of 85.71%, and Recall of 99.03% when using the Decision Tree algorithm with a K-Fold Cross value of 10 and employing Stratified Sampling. This suggests that Chat GPT-3.5's text pre-processing performance is on par with human annotations.

Abstract

Scouting, or Praja Muda Karana, which means young people who like to work, has become an extracurricular activity that must be held in schools and is regulated by the Law of the Republic of Indonesia. Tri Satya and Dasa Dharma are scouting principles applied through scouting teaching methods, including interactive learning in the open air. One form of implementation is through exploration activities. Along with the rapid development of science and technology, scouting material is now easier to convey through educational games. Educational games are specifically designed to teach specific concepts and understanding, as well as to guide, train skills, and motivate players. Therefore, the aim of making this game is to describe and simulate exploration activities, which is one of the essential aspects of scouting activities. Applying the A* pathfinding algorithm in a 3D game with a scout exploration theme is critical in helping players determine the fastest path to the destination post. This game is expected to improve the player's learning experience with realistic challenges and interactive learning. This game was developed using the Digital Game-Based Learning-Instructional Design (DGBL-ID) method and tested using black box testing. The implementation results show that the scout exploration game application provides positive benefits, as proven by the results of a questionnaire using the Guttman scale with the title "Very Good," indicating that this game is a learning medium that is easy to understand and fun.

Abstract

This article aims to develop a multimedia application model for bacterial recognition using Marker-Based Augmented Reality (Marker-Based AR) technology for Android mobile devices. Marker-based tracking creates mobile augmented reality markers to increase user interaction in Marker-Based Augmented Reality systems. The software development method uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle, which consists of 6 phases: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The results of this study are a model of a multimedia application for bacterial recognition using Marker-Based AR, which has a marker-based tracking feature and displays bacterial objects in 3 dimensions along with their explanations and exercise questions. Based on user tests, it shows that the application model developed helps and makes it easier to learn about bacteria independently using Android mobile devices more easily and interestingly. This is proven based on beta testing towards users who got a score of 73.68% is obtained which agrees.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of AI assistants such as Gemini and ChatGPT can significantly assist in daily human tasks. In the field of Sentiment Analysis, AI assistants can be utilized as an automated labeling alternative to provide positive, negative, or neutral sentiments within a dataset. This research aims to enhance the performance of AI assistants in automated labeling processes by employing the Feature Selection algorithm, specifically Forward Selection. The methodology involves utilizing the Naïve Bayes and K-NN algorithms, and subsequently improving accuracy through the Feature Selection algorithm. The evaluation is conducted using K-Fold Cross Validation. Research findings indicate an improvement in the accuracy of the best model, which is ChatGPT, when using the Naïve Bayes algorithm and Shuffled Sampling technique. The initial accuracy of 79.09% increased to 87.18% after Feature Selection was applied. This demonstrates the effectiveness of Feature Selection, particularly Forward Selection, in enhancing the accuracy performance of the model.            Keywords: ai; assistant; chat gpt; feature selection; gemini.  Abstrak: Pekembangan Asisten AI seperti Gemini dan Chat GPT dapat membantu pekerjaan manusia sehari-hari. Dalam bidang Analisis Sentimen, Asisten AI dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pelabelan otomatis untuk memberikan sentimen positif, negatif atau netral dalam suatu dataset. Penlitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan performa yang dihasilkan oleh Asisten AI dalam proses pelabelan otomatis menggunakan Algortima Feature Selection yaitu Forward Selection. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan Algoritma Naïve Bayes dan K-NN kemudian hasil akurasi akan ditingkatkan menggunkan Algoritma Feature Selection. Evaluasi yang digunakan adalah K-Fold Cross Validation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan akurasi model terbaik berada pada Chat GPT dengan menggunakan Algoritma Naïve Bayes dan Teknik Shuffled Sampling, dari nilai akurasi awal sebesar 79.09%, setelah ditingkatkan menggunakan Feature Selection, maka nilai akurasinya meningkat menjadi 87.18%. Hal ini membuktikan peran Feature Selection, dimana yang digunakan adalah Forward Selection dalam meningkatkan akurasi ternyata memang efektif dalam meningkatkan performa akurasi model. Kata kunci: ai; assisten; chat gpt; feature selection; gemini

Abstract

Coffee is a popular drink nowadays because many people like it. However, farmers and coffee drinkers in Garut Regency face the problem of not having access to real-time information about the geographical location of coffee producers in the region. Therefore, this research aims to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based system that can provide spatial information about coffee producing locations in Garut Regency more easily. The methodology used in this research is the Rational Unified Process (RUP) which consists of inception, elaboration and construction stages. In this stage, data modeling will be carried out using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and system testing using Black-Box Testing. The final result of this research is the success of developing a Geographic Information System (GIS) for mapping coffee producing locations in Garut Regency. This system can be accessed via the web and provides spatial information about the geographic location of coffee producers easily and accurately. Alpha testing using the black-box testing method has been carried out to test various features in the system. The test results show that all features in the system work well and as expected. This testing also helps identify and fix some potential issues before the system is fully rolled out. With this system, it is hoped that it can help increase efficiency in obtaining information about coffee producing locations in the region.

Abstract

Submission of diplomas and grade transcripts is an important process in the management of education in tertiary institutions. However, at the Garut Institute of Technology (ITG), the process of submitting diplomas and grade transcripts is still conventional, resulting in obstacles such as long queues and difficulty accessing students who are outside the campus. To overcome these problems, this study aims to design and develop an efficient and integrated management information system for filing new diplomas and grade transcripts. The method used in this study is the Extreme Programming (XP) method. Software development is carried out by utilizing web technology and features such as validation, submission monitoring, email notifications, and submission logs. Students can apply for diplomas and transcripts online through the platform provided, fill out the online submission form, and upload the required documents. Related units, such as BAAK, Libraries, BAK, CDC, LP3B, and Study Programs, can carry out validation and verification processes online. Students can also monitor the progress of their submissions through the monitoring feature and receive notifications via email.

Abstract

A sales and ordering data management application is very necessary in improving performance in a company. SKMart still applies conventional methods or uses manual methods in ledgers, which is in accordance with the results of interviews with the owner that using manual methods causes the process of managing sales and ordering data, searching for data and calculating transaction data to take quite a long time, even when data loss. The aim of this research is to design a web-based sales and ordering data management application that can make it easier for shop owners to manage data, record item data and recap each transaction. With a web-based sales and ordering data management application, it is able to make it easier for users (admins) to obtain the data needed so that the process of managing sales and ordering data that occurs at SKMart stores becomes efficient. Regarding improving this application, this research uses a methodology called RUP, the stages of which are inception, elaboration, contraction and transition. Then use Unified Modeling Language modeling. The result of this research is a web-based sales and ordering data management application, which is able to facilitate the management of information data needed by users (admins) to manage goods sales data, goods ordering data, transaction data.

Abstract

Firefighters have responsibilities in fire and rescue incidents that do not exist in fire incidents, such as evacuating wasp nests, rescuing animals trapped in trees or wells, and so on. The importance of understanding the duties of a fire extinguisher is toprovide awareness to the public that with the existence of a fire extinguisher, the management of environmental resources is better maintained to realize environmental safety and security from the dangers of fire disasters. With very rapid technological information, presenting firefighting duties can be more interesting if presented with an adventure-themed 3D educational game. This research uses the Digital Game-Based Learning Instructional Design (DGBL-ID) method and applies a pathfinding algorithm to the path thatwill be taken. This research produces an Android-based firefighting adventure game application. Testing the level of user satisfactionobtained very satisfactory results, which were measured based on Black Box testing with the Guttman Scale method calculation.
