Abstract

The objective of this research is to give the understanding about the simple sentence structure Sindang Language ini Lubuklinggau and describe the effect in Indonesian language learning process. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The result of this research shows that the simple sentence structure of Bahasa Sindang in Lubuklinggau in the form of verbal-verbed simple sentence which consists of intransitive sentence and single-transitive sentence; adjectival-verbed simple sentence, nominal-verbed simple sentence, numeral-verbed simple sentence, preposisional-verbed simple sentence, and adverbial-verbed simple sentence. Majority of the data finding is the verbal-verbed simple sentence on Sindang language and it is more used by the people who use Sindang language. Intransitive sentence has 62 sentences or 79.5%. Sentence of Sindang Language seen from the aspect of function for the type of intransitive sentence has the function structure: 1) S,P; 2) K,S,P; 3) S,P,Vokatif; 4) S,P,K; 5) P,K; 6) P,S; 7) P; 8) S,P,S, and 9) S,P,Pel. The type of single-transitive sentence has the structure function: 1) K,S,P,O,K; 2) S,P,O,Vokatif; 3) P,O,K; 4) P,O; 5) P,O,K,S; 6) S,P,O; dan 7) P,O,S. Adjectival-verbed sentence has the structure function of structure K,S,P and P,S. Nominal-verbed simple sentence has the function structure S,P. Numeral-verbed simple sentence has the function structure P,S and S,P. Prepositional Frase-verbed simple sentence has the function structure S,P,Vocative. Then, adverbial-verbed simple sentence has the function structure S,P. The single sentence structure of the Sindang language positively influences the learning of the native speakers of the language. Keywords: simple sentence structure, Sindang language, Lubuklinggau Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman tentang struktur kalimat tunggal bahasa Sindang di Kota Lubuklinggau dan mendeskripsikan pengaruhnya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kota tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur kalimat tunggal bahasa Sindang di Kota Lubuklinggau berbentuk kalimat tunggal berpredikat verbal yang terdiri atas kalimat intransitif dan kalimat tungggal ekatransitif; kalimat tunggal berpredikat adjektival, kalimat tunggal berpredikat nominal, kalimat tunggal berpredikat numeral, kalimat tunggal berpredikat preposisional, dan kalimat tunggal berpredikat adverbial. Sebagian besar kalimat tunggal berpredikat verbal pada bahasa Sindang lebih banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat penuturnya yaitu kalimat intransitif dengan 62 kalimat atau 79,5%. Kalimat bahasa Sindang ditinjau dari segi fungsi untuk jenis kalimat intransitif memiliki struktur fungsi: 1) S,P; 2) K,S,P; 3) S,P,Vokatif; 4) S,P,K; 5) P,K; 6) P,S; 7) P; 8) S,P,S, dan 9) S,P,Pel. Jenis kalimat ekatransitif memiliki struktur fungsi: 1) K,S,P,O,K; 2) S,P,O,Vokatif; 3) P,O,K; 4) P,O; 5) P,O,K,S; 6) S,P,O; dan 7) P,O,S. Kalimat tunggal berpredikat adjektival memiliki struktur fungsi yaitu berstruktur K,S,P dan P,S. Kalimat tunggal berpredikat nominal memiliki struktur fungsi S,P. Kalimat tunggal berpredikat numeral memiliki struktur fungsi P,S dan S,P. Kalimat tunggal berpredikat frase preposisional memiliki struktur fungsi S,P,Vokatif. Kemudian, kalimat tunggal berpredikat adverbia memiliki struktur fungsi S,P. Struktur kalimat tunggal bahasa Sindang memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia penutur asli bahasa tersebut. Abstract

The objective of this research was to explain the improvement of writing captions narrative using animated media images of class V.B SD Negeri 17 Lubuklinggau. The research method used was classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles. Techniques of collecting data using test and observation techniques. The research process of each cycle was done through four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study are students of class V.B with a total of 29 students consisting of 18 male students and 11 female students. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to write a narrative essay of class V.B SD Negeri 17 Lubuklinggau by using animation media images. This is evidenced by students who get the value of ≥ 70 or who have completed in cycle two reached 93.10%. From the results of this study the Indonesian language teachers can use the animated media images in improving the ability to write narrative essay and ability on other basic competencies. Abstract

This study aims to provide an understanding of the pattern of sermon rhetoric oration of President Joko Widodo in Commemoration of Bung Karno's oration June 1, 1945 in Bandung, West Java on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. This study used qualitative methods with data collection technique using the documentation. Data were analyzed using content analysis with the steps: identify, review of the literature, define, data collection, data analysis, interpretation, Dissemination of results. The results of this study indicate that the pattern of rhetoric using a model of sermon on the oration of President Joko Widodo in Commemoration of Bung Karno's oration June 1, 1945 in Bandung, West Java on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, namely the introduction or preface (introduction), trunk (body), and conclusion.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine whether there is influence of the send a problem technique to the ability to write a bibliography. Influence was shown from the completeness of the results of student learning class XI SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau in writing a list of libraries after applied the send a problem technique. Quantitative methods of quasi experiments are used in answering the purposes of this study. Techniques in collecting data in the form of a form of a description test technique. The research population was all students in class XI amounted to 138 students consisting of 4 classes. The sample in this research was class XI. MIA 4 which amounted to 34 students. Data analysis technique begins with the normality test, and continued with t test by looking at the difference between the KKM value which was hypothesised is 74 with the mean postes. Based on the result of test analysis with t test formula, to greater than ttable at 5 percnet significance level that is 2.60 bigger than 2.04. Thus, the results of student learning class XI SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau in writing the list of libraries after applied the send a problem technique significantly completed. Abstract

This study aims to describe the rhetorical structure of the master of ceremonies and the function of Akikah for the community in Akikah events in the Lubuklinggau City. The research method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using the technique of record, see, and proficient. Data analysis techniques with steps to transcribe data, data reduction, data presentation, interpretation, and conclusions. Test the validity of the data by member checking and expert validation test. The results showed that the rhetoric structure of the master of ceremonies in the Akikah ceremony in Lubuklinggau City consisted of: 1) opening the Akikah ceremony, including opening greetings, thanksgiving to God, reciting basmallah, and conveying the purpose of the event, 2) The contents of the Akikah ceremony, including: delivery of the composition of the arrangement Akikah program, introduction to the next program (transition) by inviting the reading of the Koran, introduction to the reading of the Koran, introduction to the next program (transition) section to deliver a speech, the host commenting on the delivery of greetings, introduction to the next event (transition) part of the reading of Al-Barzanzi, introduction to the next event (transition) section of baby hair shaving, and the host's commentary on baby hair shaving, and 3) closing of the Akikah event includes the introduction of the next program section (transition) of prayer reading, carrier comments the event took the form of an apology, and closing greetings. Then, akikah has a function for the people of Lubuklinggau City, namely as a media to announce news of the birth of a baby, as a form of gratitude to Allah, cultivate faith, implement Islamic law, can provide intercession for both parents, and make a child who is pious or saleha.

Abstract

This study is aimed at demonstrating how students in the University of Bengkulu's master's program in Indonesian language education have improved their capacity to employ qualitative content analysis techniques. This study uses a classroom action research method with the Kemmis and MC model. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are: 1) analyzing qualitative data, namely observation data, interviews, and document analysis; 2) analyzing quantitative data, namely performance test data, and 3) interpreting and setting indicators of success of actions. Test the validity of the data using the technique of inter rater, member check, and triangulation of data sources. The results showed that the application of case method carried out online through Zoom Cloud Meetings and LMS University of Bengkulu was able to improve the ability to use qualitative content analysis methods for students. Improvement both in terms of the learning process that activates the learning experience through solving discourse analysis cases at the level of knowledge and activities trying to analyze class discourse, as well as increasing learning outcomes in the first cycle by 16% which reached a value of 80, increasing in cycle 2 by 91.66% which reaches a value of 80.

Abstract

Indonesian faculty members in Islamic Institutes in Indonesia are expected to publish their research results in reputable international journals such as those published in English. This study aims to investigate the problems and expectation by faculty members from publishing articles in reputable international journals. A mix-method was adopted in this study questionnaire and depth interviews for gathering primary data. The sample of the study was 100 faculty members at the English Department of Islamic Institutes in Indonesia. The result shows that some problems were faced by the lecturers to publish their articles in reputable international journals:   lack of references and difficulties related to academic writing, consuming long time and high costs associated with international publishing, and no reward or for those who can succeed in reputable international journals. However, there are some possible expectations to encourage the lecturers’ international journal publication: frequently attend seminars and workshops on how to write and publish in international journals, practice writing articles collaboratively with the help of a mentor or experienced writer, always revise the article drafts following the suggestion and correction from journal editors or reviewers, and government or institution can support adequate references and costs in the order they fell confident to publish in reputable international journals.

Abstract

Banyak guru bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMP dan SMA di Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah yang belum memahami tugasnya dalam literasi digital. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan hasil workshop literasi digital sebagai sumber referensi ilmiah dan mengajar bagi guru bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMP dan SMA di Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah. Workshop ini dilakukan secara daring melalui Zoom Cloud Meeting selama 4 hari atau setara 32 jam dari tanggal 27 sampai dengan 30 September 2021. Workshop ini dilaksanakan atas dasar kerja sama antara Program Magister (S-2) Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, FKIP Universitas Bengkulu dengan MGMP Bahasa Indonesia SMP Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah. Workshop ini menghasilkan 86% peserta menerima pemahaman materi tentang literasi digital dengan kriteria baik dan 82% peserta memahami dengan baik tentang cara menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran. Kemudian, 35% peserta workshop sudah mampu memproduksi media pembelajaran atau sejenisnya dengan menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley, Google Form, VideoScribe Sparkol, Render Forest, Zoho Forms, Media Padlet, dan Camtasia.

Abstract

Masih terdapat permasalahan pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menerapkan sistem Blended Learning terutama dalam memanfaatkan Zoom Meeting, Google Classroom, dan pembelajaran luring. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan problematika yang dihadapi oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran Blended Learning pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian survei dengan desain Cross-Sectional digunakan dalam penelitian. Teknik analisis data dengan cara mengumpulkan data, menghitung persentase, dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat problematika yang dialami siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 17 Kota Bengkulu yaitu problematika pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan sistem daring menggunakan aplikasi Zoom Meeting sebesar 47% dengan kategori rendah terutama dalam berinteraksi. Problematika pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom sebesar 39% siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengakses internet. Kemudian, problematika pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia secara luring sebesar 39% terjadi karena siswa kesulitan memahami materi yang singkat dan terbatas.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran animasi merupakan alat utama guru bahasa Indonesia dalam memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna bagi siswa terutama di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Faktanya, masih banyak guru bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMP, khususnya di Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah yang belum mampu mendesain media pembelajaran animasi. Untuk itu, dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan menjelaskan hasil pelatihan mendesain media pembelajaran animasi pada masa Pandemi Covid-19 bagi guru bahasa Indonesia Tingkat SMP di Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah. Metode pelatihan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom dengan teknik diskusi, ceramah, dan pendampingan. Hasil dari pelatihan ini yaitu pemahaman para kepada guru bahasa Indonesia dalam mendesain media pembelajaran animasi dengan aplikasi Renderforest, Powtoon, dan VideoScribe sebesar 75% dan keterampilan dalam mendesain media pembelajaran animasi baru 53% dari 28 jumlah peserta yang hadir dalam pelatihan.
