Abstract

The skill of writing explanatory text is part of the Indonesian language skills that must be mastered by students of class XI SMA. An overview of the implementation of learning to write explanatory texts in high school forms the basis for the reflections of Indonesian language teachers. For this reason, this study aims to describe the implementation of teaching explanatory text writing skills in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using data source triangulation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of Indonesian language learning on writing material for students of class XI IPS had been carried out in three stages: first, preliminary activities, the teacher greeted, greeted students, prepared students physically and psychologically, conducted apperception by way of question and answer and convey learning objectives. Second, the core learning activities, the teacher invites students to understand the meaning and characteristics of explanatory texts, identify knowledge information and explanatory text explanatory lines, analyze structure and language, and produce explanatory texts. Third, closing activities, the teacher concludes the learning material by involving students so that the teacher knows student understanding during the learning process. The learning steps carried out by the teacher are guided by the Learning Implementation Plan. Implementation of learning is planned to use discovery learning and project based learning models, but in the learning process, the implementation of these learning models is not maximized. The teacher's assessment was only a psychomotor assessment, while attitude and cognitive assessments were not carried out.

Abstract

The pedagogical competence of Indonesian language teachers will influence student learning outcomes and whether or not learning objectives are achieved. One of the pedagogic competencies that must be mastered by Indonesian language teachers is the skill of opening and closing lessons. For this reason, the purpose of this study was to describe the mastery of Indonesian language teacher pedagogic competencies in applying the skills of opening and closing learning on the material for writing debate texts in class X SMA Negeri 6 Bengkulu City. The research method used is the qualitative content analysis method of the Mayring model. Data collection techniques use documentation techniques with the help of camcorders. The research data analyzed is speech in the process of learning to write debate texts. The data analysis step uses Mayring's model content analysis combined with the interpretation of the meaning of the Dell Hymes SPEAKING model. The results of the study showed that the Indonesian teacher's opening skills for learning started with greetings, praying, and checking physical attendance, while the skills for closing learning started with learning evaluation and greeting. From the results of this study it can be recommended to Indonesian teachers that in opening learning it must consist of the skills of saying greetings, praying, checking students' physical and psychological presence, giving apperception, conveying basic competencies and learning objectives to be achieved, while closing skills must consist of for the skills of providing conclusions in learning, providing evaluations in learning, providing motivation to students, providing follow-up, praying, and finally greeting and saying thank you.

Abstract

Guru bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMA Kota Bengkulu di era 5.0 dituntut selain mampu melaksanakan tugas dalam mengajar dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, juga harus mampu melaksanakan pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan (PKB). Salah satu kemampuan PKB guru Bahasa Indonesia yang perlu ditingkatkan yaitu dalam hal publikasi ilmiah. Publikasi ilmiah ini tujuannya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis guru yang akan berdampak pada kemampuan mengajar yang profesional. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan publikasi ilmiah guru bahasa Indonesia yaitu memberikan pelatihan penulisan esai bagi guru bahasa Indonesia dalam menanamkan keterampilan berpikir kritis di Kota Bengkulu melalui Strategi Question-Answer Relationship (QAR). Tujuan dari pelatihan ini agar guru bahasa Indonesia mampu menulis esai dan tulisan ilmiah esainya dapat dipublikasi dalam bentuk buku kumpulan esai ber-ISBN yang dapat dijadikan salah satu persyaratan kenaikan pangkat. Pelatihan ini menggunakan strategi QAR dengan teknik diskusi, ceramah, dan praktik membuat esai. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah guru Bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMA sederajat di Kota Bengkulu. Hasil dari pelatihan ini yaitu guru bahasa Indonesia mampu menulis esai dibuktikan dengan produk kumpulan esai ber-ISBN disusun oleh para guru dengan judul Praktik Baik Guru Bahasa Indonesia dalam Mengajar, video pelatihan yang bisa diakses pada Youtube https://youtu.be/D_KxinOvPS0?si=vo6JCN_oryuY9_Oo, dan publikasi artikel hasil pelatihan pada jurnal Sinta 4 yaitu Jurnal Inovasi Pengabdian Masyarakat Pendidikan. Abstract

The preparation of classroom action research or CAR and writing scientific articles on research results is still a problem for teachers in Rupit District, North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. For this reason, it is necessary to hold community service by means of classroom action research workshops and the preparation of scientific articles on research results in Rupit District, South Sumatra Province. The purpose of this community service was to describe the results of classroom action research workshops and the preparation of scientific articles on research results in Rupit District, South Sumatra Province. The method of community service is carried out by workshops in which the techniques of lectures, discussions, assignments, and practices are used. The results of the classroom action research workshop and the preparation of scientific research articles for teachers which were carried out in the YP Asra Noman High School Hall, Rupit District, Musi Rawas Utara Regency went well. This is shown from the workshop activities providing understanding to teachers on the preparation of class action research proposals, preparation of classroom action research reports, and the preparation of scientific articles to 22 teachers from elementary, middle, MTs, and high school teachers in the North Musi Rawas area and there are from Musi Rawas Regency. The success of this workshop is not only supported by the school which provides infrastructure as well as resource persons who use discussion methods and assignments or practices, the use of power point media, as well as providing workshop materials and examples of both CAR proposals, CAR reports, as well as scientific journal articles to the participants.

Abstract

Sinetron yang menarik memiliki teknik penokohan dan teknik konflik yang memiliki keunikan dibandingkan dengan sinetron yang lainnya. Untuk itu penelitian ini mendeskripsikan teknik penokohan dan teknik konflik yang terdapat dalam sinetron Ikatan Cinta Produksi MNC Picture dan teknik konflik dalam sinetron Ikatan Cinta Produksi MNC Picture. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi (kualitatif). Sinetron Ikatan Cinta Produksi MNC Picture banyak diminati oleh penonton dan pernah mendapatkan penghargaan pada tahun 2021. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dokumentasi dan teknik catat yaitu mentrankripsikan dari audio visual menjadi teks tulis. Langkah-langkah analisis data yang digunakan  merumuskan apa yang diteliti, memilih objek penelitian, membuat rumusan masalah,  melakukan pemisahan setiap kategori, mencari data dan memasukkannya dalam kategori, melakukan pemeriksaan kembali, pengecekan sumatif, menginterpretasi hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik penokohan dalam sinetron Ikatan Cinta Produksi MNC Picture menggunakan metode dramatik yang mana dapat dilihat dari 8 teknik penokohan bahwa, andin memili sifat yang enggan terhadapat orang lain, bersikap marah jika dipaksa oleh orang lain, romantis, tidak enakan hati, tokoh Aldebaran merupakan tokoh yang suka menolong dan membela keluarga, tokoh Elsa seorang tokoh yang tidak bertanggung jawab, pembohong dan pembunug, serta suka memfitnah. Tokoh Nino orang yang lugu dan romantis, tokoh Elsa yang terlalu menyayangi Elsa terlalu berlebihan dan tokoh Surya selalu membela Andin. 8 teknik tersebut dapat menggambarkan karakter masing-masing tokoh. Sedangkan teknik konflik yang digunakan dalam sinetron Ikatan Cinta Produksi MNC Picture dengan adanya karakter antagonis dan protagonis maka terjadi lah konflik, yaitu adanya teknik batin seorang Andin, teknik kejiwaan seorang tokoh Andin.

Abstract

Guru bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMP di Kabupaten Empat Lawang masih banyak yang belum memahami dan belum terampil dalam menyusun presentasi materi pembelajaran berbasis project based learning (PjBL) dan TPACK sehingga diperlukan pelatihan yang intensif. Untuk itu, tujuan dari tulisan ini akan mendeskripsikan hasil dari pelatihan penyusunan presentasi materi pembelajaran berbasis PjBL dan TPACK bagi guru bahasa Indonesia SMP di Kabupaten Empat Lawang. Pelatihan ini dilakukan melalui metode ceramah, diskusi, praktik, dan pendampingan. Tahapan pelaksanaan pengabdian yaitu mulai dari penyampaian materi oleh para narasumber, kegiatan diskusi, kegiatan praktik membuat presentasi materi pembelajaran, pendampingan pembuatan presentasi, penyampaian hasil pembuatan presentasi oleh para peserta, dan pemberian rekomendasi. Hasil dari pelatihan penyusunan presentasi materi pembelajaran berbasis PjBL dan TPACK bagi guru bahasa Indonesia SMP di Kabupaten Empat Lawang yaitu memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada guru bahasa Indonesia tentang penyusunan presentasi materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis TPACK, mampu membuat presentasi materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan Powerpoint, mampu membuat presentasi materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan Canvas, mampu menyusun presentasi materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis PjBL, dan mampu membuat presentasi materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan Gamma AI.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi Dewan Guru di Lintang Empat Lawang dalam memanfaatkan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk pengembangan media pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Dalam era digital saat ini, guru dituntut untuk mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi terkini guna menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan relevan bagi siswa. Pelatihan ini menggunakan dua platform AI, yaitu Magic School AI dan Gamma AI, yang menyediakan berbagai fitur untuk menghasilkan materi ajar yang lebih inovatif dan menarik. Melalui pelatihan ini, para guru diperkenalkan dengan potensi teknologi AI dalam pendidikan, serta diberikan keterampilan praktis untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran berbasis video, animasi, dan simulasi interaktif. Proses pelatihan melibatkan pemahaman tentang dasar-dasar penggunaan teknologi AI, penerapan fitur-fiturnya dalam konteks pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, dan pengembangan prototipe media pembelajaran oleh para peserta. Meskipun pelatihan ini belum mencapai tahap implementasi di dalam kelas, para guru menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dan berkomitmen untuk menerapkan hasil pelatihan dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar mendatang. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Lintang Empat Lawang, serta membuka jalan bagi pemanfaatan teknologi AI yang lebih luas di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

This research was a descriptive study on the implementation of learning evaluation which aims to describe the implementation of the evaluation of saga text learning carried out by Indonesian language teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic in class X SMA Negeri 6 Bengkulu City. The research method used was descriptive method. In accordance with the objectives of this study, the authors wanted to see how the evaluation of the learning of saga texts was carried out by Indonesian language teachers who taught in class X during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subject of this study was Mrs. Eka Darlina, M.Pd as an Indonesian teacher who carried out an evaluation of saga text learning in class X students. The data collection methods were interviews and documentation. The steps of data analysis are 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, 4) drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of the evaluation of saga text learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, the teacher used online media, namely the Google Form application and Google Classroom as a medium for implementing learning evaluations, especially in saga texts. The assessment procedure prepared by the teacher by preparing the RPP and LKPD, determining the purpose of the assessment, compiling a grid, preparing the assessment instrument, delivering the results of the assessment, and the benefits of the assessment carried out in the evaluation of saga text learning. The type of learning evaluation used by the teacher is the type of formative evaluation and the evaluation tool used in the evaluation of learning was in the subjective form or questions in the form of an essay

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of problem-based learning models on the ability to analyze scientific work in grade XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu. This research uses a quantitative approach with pseudo-experimental methods. The design used is one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all grade XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu with a sample using random sampling, namely class XI MIPA 1 totaling 33 students. Data collection techniques use essay test techniques. Data analysis techniques by means of normality tests using the Shapiro-Wilk test, homogeneity tests using the f test, and paired samples tests. Based on the results of the study, a pretest score was obtained with an average of 44.18 and a posttest score was obtained with an average of 65.69. In the application of the problem-based learning model has 5 learning steps, namely orienting students to problems, organizing students to learn, guiding individual and group investigations, developing and presenting work, and analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process. The results showed that there is an influence of problem-based learning models on the ability to analyze scientific papers. This is evidenced by the results of the t,T-count test. > ,T-table. , then Ho was rejected which means that there is an influence of problem-based learning models on the ability to analyze scientific papers.
