Abstract

Abstrak : Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah peranan Dinas Pemuda Olahraga Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata dalam mengapresiasi seniman daerah Kabupaten Sambas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan Peran Dinas Pemuda Olahraga Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata dalam mengapresiasi seniman daerah Kabupaten Sambas. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan induktif, Sumber data dalam penelitian adalah SDM aparatur DISPORABUDPAR dan seniman Kabupaten Sambas. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini mendeskripsikan peranan DISPORABUDPAR dalam mengapresiasi seniman dan terdapat sejumlah permasalahan diantaranya adalah minimnya anggaran DISPORABUDPAR dalam menyelenggarai program atau event-event, SDM aparatur DISPORABUDPAR bukan berlatar belakang serjana seni, DISPORABUDPAR tidak memiliki fasilitas secara khusus seperti gedung kesenian sehingga berpengaruh pada program kerja. Kata kunci: Program, Pelaksanaan, Hambatan, Upaya, Kebijakan. Abstract : The background of this research is the role of the Department of Youth, Sport, Culture and Tourism in appreciating artists Sambas regency. The purpose of this research is to describe the role of the Department of Youth, Sport, Culture and Tourism in appreciating artists Sambas regency. The method in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The approach is inductive approach, the sources data of this research are human resource and artists Disporabudpar Sambas district. Data collection techniques in this research, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research describing about the role of Disporabudpar in appreciating the artists and there are a number of problems including the lack of budget Disporabudpar in organize the programs or events, human resource Disporabudpar is not  graduate from art program, Disporabudpar have no special facilities, like art gallery so that give the effect to the work program. Abstract

AbstractThe problem of this research associates with the presentation of Jepin Tammbong Enam. This study intends to describe the Performance of Jepin Tammbong Enam Dance.The descriptive method was applied with qualitative forms and ethnochoreological approaches. The research data was obtained by observations, documentation, and interviews with Mrs. Suratmi, Mr. Mat'ani, and Mr. Ruslan. The extension of observation and triangulation were utilized as a technique to test the validity of the data with data reduction, presentation, and verification of data.The results of this study revealed that there are three variations of motion and three patterns of Tammbong beats with floor designs in the form of vertical, horizontal and triangular lines along with, on the other hand, flat, straight, angular, symmetrical, low, vertical and deep top designs. The dynamics are not various and have no dramatic design with group compositions using synchronous and balanced designs. The performance requires rhythmic instruments, gambus, rumba and poetry with natural make-up and Telok Belanga, pants, fabric, and headband. The venue for the performance is proscenium, arena, closed stage, and field including Tammbong property.  Keywords : Performance Form, Jepin Tammbong Enam Dance

AbstractThe background of Thisresearch was the effect of active learning type questions student have toward learning outcomes. In particular, the problem of this research were“How is student learning outcomes on the material appreciate musical art, before giving learning type questions student have class VIII student, junior high school number four Teriak,Bengkayang regency ? How is student learning outcomes on the material appreciate musical art, after giving learning type questions student have class VIII student, junior high school number four Teriak, Bengkayang regency ? Is there any influence of learning type questions student have class VIII student, junior high school number four Teriak, Bengkayangregency ?. The purpose of this research was to know the effect of active learning type questions student have toward learning outcomes on the material appreciating musical art class VIII student, junior high school number four Teriak, Bengkayang regency. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya dokumentasi yang akurat berupa tulisan struktur gerak dalam tari oleh seniman terdahulu satu diantaranya Tari Jepin Langkah Penghibur Pengantin yang berkembang di Kota Pontianak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis bentuk penyajian dan mendeskripsikan struktur gerak tari, disertai dengan rancangan implementasi di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif analisis dengan bentuk kualitatif, melalui pendekatan etnokoreologi. Sumber data dengan teknik snowball sampling didapat dari teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan datanya. Awalnya berfungsi untuk menghibur di acara pernikahan, tetapi sekarang boleh ditampilkan pada acara lain, penyajinya harus menyiapkan sepasang pengantin dan dayang-dayangnya yang membawa kipas sebagai properti. Musik pengiring dominan alat perkusi, dan melodi dari gambus dan biola serta syair yang berjudul “Pantun Pengantin”. Tari Tradisional ini bertemakan non literer yang penarinya menggunkan busana tradisi khas Melayu. Terdapat tujuh gugus sehingga menjadi satu tari yang utuh dilakukan dengan menganalisis melalui media gambar dan notasi Laban.   Kata kunci: Struktur gerak tari, Jepin Langkah Penghibur Pengantin. Abstract: Background of this research is the lack of accurate documentation like writing about the structure of movement in dancing by the earlier artists, one of them is tari Jepin Langkah Penghibur Pengantin which is grown in Pontianak. The purpose of this research is to analyze the form of performance and to describe the movement of dance, accompanied by the implementation plan of the structure of the dance movements jepin Bride Entertainers Step in High School junior. The method used descriptive analysis with qualitative form, through etnokoreologi approach. The data source with technic snowball sampling obtained from the technic observation, interview, and documentation to collect data. initially function to entertain in wedding party, but now can shown at the other occasion, but the performer must prepare a pair of bride and some ladies who brought fan as property. The dominant musical accompaniment is percussion instruments, and the melody is harp, violin dan poem entitled “Pantun Pengantin”. This Traditional dance theme is non literar and the dancers use the traditional outfit typical Malay. There are seven groups so that it becomes an integral dance performed by analyzing media images dan Laban Notation.   Keywords: Dancing movements structure, Jepin Langkah Penghibur Pengantin.

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is the loss of Timang Banjar Dance in Kadriyah Palace. The purpose of this research is to revitalize Timang Banjar Dance in Kadriyah Palace, Pontianak, West Kalimantan so it could exist in the society around Kadriyah Palace. Specifically, this research focuses on how does the process, the form and the result of revitalization of Timang Banjar Dancein Kadriyah Palace, Pontianak West Kalimantan.  Method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative method and sociological approach. Data used in this method are the result of interview, observation, documentation and daily note about Timang Banjar Dance. The result of this research is an effort in revitalizing Timang Banjar Dance such as helding a meeting with the interviewees and also the dancer and the musician of this dance in Kadriyah Palace, Pontianak; Dancing Timang Banjar Dance; Evaluating the form of the dance; Represent the Dance by doing workshop, using backsound, properties, and costumes of Timang Banjar Dance.  Keywords: Revitalizing, Timang Banjar Dance, Pontianak

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi keinginan peneliti untuk menganalisis gerak pada Tari Besagu Ayu Suku Dayak Kantu’. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan struktur gerak tari Besagu Ayu dengan gambar agar jelas dan menganalisis gerak dan struktur gerak  tari Besagu Ayu. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis dengan bentuk kualitatif, melalui pendekatan etnokoreologi. Data penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dari para seniman sebagai narasumber. Analisis struktur gerak tari Besagu Ayu dengan empat ragam gerak yaitu gerak Pencak, gerak Sirang 1, gerak Sirang 2, dan gerak Ansing-ansing yang dianalisis berdasarkan motif gerak, frase gerak, kalimat gerak, dan gugus gerak. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai materi ajar pelajaran Seni budaya dan Ketrampilan (seni tari) dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran imitasi gerak tari pada siswa SMP di sekolah. Kata Kunci : Struktur Gerak, Tari Besagu Ayu, Dayak Kantu’, Kapuas Hulu.   Abstract: The background of in this research is about researcher interest to know about uniqueness ofBesagu Ayu Dance Dayak Kantu’ Etnic. In this study used etnokoreology approach.Refrence of data in Besagu Ayu dance that exhibited by expert and some other artist who know the history of Besagu Ayu dance from the informant who understand about Besagu Ayu dance in Bika Hulu. Data of research is structure movement  Besagu Ayu dance in Bika Hulu that have relation with part of dance show, there arethe frist part, in the middle and in the last of dance show. Techniques of data collection are observation, interview, and documentation technique, the technique of data validity testing is extention observation and triangulation technique. Analysis technique is used analys and interpret koreography that have relation with the Structure Of Besagu Ayu Dance Dayak Kantu’ Etnic In Bika Hulu Village Kapuas Hulu District,make a disscusion analysis result with first supervisor and second supervisor than make a conclude the result of research so that we can get description about purpose of variety movement in Structure Of Besagu Ayu Dance Dayak Kantu’ Etnic In Bika Hulu Village Kapuas Hulu District. The result of this research are : 1) structure of koreo Besagu Ayu with three part there are the first part the middle and in the last of dance show.2) plane the result of researc whit curiculum as a teaching material of cultural art lesson (seni tari) with use imitation learning methode of dance in junior high school.Suggestion for the young generations : to keep preserve and to keeping culture especially in Kalimantan Barat, beacause the culture is a nation identity. Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to determine the similarities and differences in Tali Bui Jepin dance in Pontianak City and Bengkayang Regency. This qualitative comparative descriptive method with ethnocoreology approach was applied as the from of the research. The data in this study was obtained from the results of interviews with informants. Field observations, interviews and documentation were used as the data collecting technique. Extended observation techniques and triangulation techniques were used to test the validity of the data, as well as reduction, presentation and conclusion were used as the analysis technique during in the field observation. comparison of the binding pattern is shown in the binding method, tie pattern, motion, property.The differences are shown in the binding method that starts from the bottom of the foot and starts from the top of the neck, tie pattern, motio and property. The similarities are shown in the weaving pattern in the form of woven baskets, ropes as the property, and dancers as many as 7 people. The results of this study can be used as reference material for teachers or educators and as a reference for cultural arts and skills in learning process in schools, especially in dance subjects. Keywords: Comparison, Tie Pattern, Jepin Tali Bui Dance.

Abstract

Abstrak: Adanya ornamen-ornamen atau motif-motif Dayak yang terdapat di Kalimantan Barat terutama di Pontianak, diantaranya motif Pakis, Bunga Terong, Pucuk Rebung, dan Kamang, Maka dibuatlah karya tari yang bertujuan agar masyarakat umum yang menyaksikan mengetahui dan mengerti arti dari berbagai motif dayak yang ada di Kalimantan Barat sebagai bahan materi pengetahuan dalam media visual yang berbeda. Telah menjadikan inspirasi bagi penggarap untuk mengangkat judul garapan bernama Motif Dayak. Penggarap menggunakan metode diantaranya eksplorasi, improvisasi, pembentukan, evaluasi dan komposisi dalam proses pembuatan karya Motif Dayak. Dalam proses eksplorasi, penggarap berimajinasi, berfikir, merasakan dan merespon ornamen dan corak motif-motif dayak yang ada. Pada proses improvisasi penggarap mencoba dan mencari gerakan-gerakan yang pas sesuai dengan masing-masing motif yang ada. Dalam proses pembentukan penggarap menggabungkan gerakan-gerakan dari hasil eksplorasi dan improvisasi sehingga menjadi satu kesatuan dalam karya. Dalam proses evaluasi penggarap menilai dan menyeleksi ragam gerak yang ada dalam proses eksplorasi, improvisasi dan pembentukan yang dirasa sesuai dengan garapan. Dan pada proses komposisi penggarap menyusun dan menata gerak tari, pola lantai, kostum, properti, tata penggung, tata musik dan tata cahaya, yang dirasa sesuai dan selaras dengan garapan karya Motif Dayak. Dengan menentukan judul garapan beserta metode yang digunakan yaitu eksplorasi, improvisasi, pembentukan, evaluasi dan komposisi maka terciptalah sebuah karya tari yang berjudul Motif Dayak. Kata Kunci : Motif Dayak, Gerak Tari, Metode Abstract: Those existing Dayak motives in West Kalimantan, especially in Pontianak such as Pakis, Bunga Terong, Pucuk Rebung, and Kamang. Then let the work of dance which aims to the general public know and understand the meaning of the various motives Dayak that is in West Kalimantan as a matter knowledge in visual media different. Inspired the writer to compose a dance entitled Motif Dayak. The writer applied exploration, improvisation, formation, evaluation and composition as the methods in a dance creation process. During exploration, the writer?s works deal with those existing Dayak ornament and motives for collecting the choreographic ideas. Improvisation process required the writer to search for movements that figure out the motives. Whilst in forming, the writer combines some movements developed from previous steps into a complete dance. The next cycle served as evaluation process to value and review all those movements that fit best to the theme. Finally, in composition process the writer arranged other artistic components such as costume, property, stage, music and lightning. By determining the title of the dance including the methods applied, the writer successfully created a dance composition named Motif Dayak. Keywords : Motif Dayak, dance, Method

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the demonstration method towards the ensemble music games for seventh grade students at SMPN 2 Bengkayang. This study uses a quantitative approach and the method is a true experimental and the design is the pretest-posttest control group design. The sample were students of VII A (experimental class) as many as 41 pupils, of VII B (control class) as many as 41 pupils. Data collection techniques that used are observation techniques and measurement techniques. Meanwhile, the technique used to analyze the data is descriptive and statistical analysis by looking at averages and   t?test. Based on the results of data analysis on the effectiveness of the implementing the demonstration methods towards ensemble music games on seventh grade students obtained t_(count 3) of 13.48. As for the value of table with a significance level of 5% for two sides with db = 80, then obtained at 1.99. Since the value of t_(count 3) ? t_tabel, then the null hypothesis is denied. It means that there is a significant difference and the effectiveness of implementing the demonstration method towards the activeness of  ensemble music playing on seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Bengkayang.  Keywords: Demonstration Method, Ensemble Music Games

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar peneliti di SMP Negeri 2 Monterado Kabupaten Bengkayang menemukan masalah rendahnya apresiasi siswa pembelajaran seni tari. Hal ini juga diperkuat dari hasil wawancara kepada beberapa siswa yang menyatakan bahwa, mereka kurang menyenangi materi seni tari karena sulit dipahami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dan peningkatan apresiasi siswa pada materi seni tari di kelas VII A SMP Negeri 2 Monterado Kabupaten Bengkayang. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) bertujuan untuk memperbaiki/ meningkatkan mutu proses pembelajaran dikelasnya. Dari hasil penelitian, Pembelajaran  melalui media audio visual dapat meningkatkan apresiasi siswa pada materi seni tari di Kelas VII A SMP Negeri 2 Monterado Kabupaten Bengkayang.   Kata kunci: media audio visual, appresiasi   Abstract: The background of this research was based on the researcher’s experience in SMPN 2 Monterado in Bengkayang regency found there was a problem about the low appreciation of students in learning dance art. Some students who have been interviewed says they are not really interested in learning dance aert because it is difficult to understand. The purpose of this research is to describe the learning process and increasing the student’s appreciation of dance art in class VII A SMPN 2 Monterado, Bengkayang regency. The form of this research is the classroom action research is the classroom action research which has purpose to increase the quality of learning process in the class. Base on the research result the learning process through audio visual media can increase the student’s appreciation toward dance art lesson in class students class VII A SMPN 2 Monterado, Bengkayang regency.   Keywords: audio visual media, appreciation
