Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam memainkan rekorder melalui metode demonstrasi. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B berjumlah 26 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi dan lembar uji keterampilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I siswa masih melakukan kesalahan dimana posisi rekorder berada dibawah 30o maupun diatas 45o, kemudian siswa masih menggunakan pernapasan dada. Jari-jari siswa masih terlihat kaku dalam menutup lubang-lubang rekorder. Semua siswa belum lancar dalam menutup lubang-lubang rekorder. Pada siklus II, siswa sudah dapat memegang dengan benar. Ditemukan beberapa siswa masih menggunakan pernapasan perut dan dada sehingga nada yang dikeluarkan menjadi tidak stabil. Siswa sudah dapat menutup lubang rekorder dengan baik dan tidak terlihat kaku. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam memainkan rekorder. Kata kunci : keterampilan, rekorder, metode demonstrasi Abstract: This study aims to improve students' skills in playing the flute through the method of demonstration. The research is a form of class action. The subjects were students of class VIII B, for a total of 26 people. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research tool is the observation sheets and sheets test of skill. The results showed that in the first cycle of students still make mistakes in the position of the recorder under the 30o or 45o above, then students are still using thoracic breathing. The radius of the students still looks stiff in the hole last recorder. All students not yet fluent in the recorder closing holes. In the second cycle, students have been able to maintain properly. some students still use abdominal breathing and chest so the emitted tone becomes unstable found. Students can now close the hole and recorder and not look stiff. It can be concluded that through the demonstration method can improve students' skills in playing the recorder. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kesenian tari tradisional Tari Radat Koko kini mulai jarang ditampilkan. Selain itu kurangnya dokumentasi yang akurat berupa tulisan, serta kurangnya penulisan struktur gerak dalam tari oleh seniman  -seniman terdahulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan bentuk kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan Terdapat 5 gugus yakni Gugus melambaikan tangan, Gugus menumbok paha, Gugus napak lantai, Gugus pasang kaki kuda dan  Gugus silat. Desain atas yang terbentuk adalah desain vertikal, desain horizontal, desain kontras, desain murni, desain statis, desain lurus, desain bersudut, desain medium dan desain tertunda. Sedangkan desain lantai yang terbentuk secara keseluruhan  adalah desain lurus.   Kata Kunci : Struktur Gerak Tari Radat Koko, Desain Atas,         Desain Lantai   Abstract: The background of this research is the traditional dance art of Radat Koko Dance is now rarely showed to public even. Besides lack of authentic documentation in written form, and the lack of dance movement structure writing by the previous artists. The method of this research is analysis descriptive in qualitative form. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that there is a arranged in one dance movement structure which is consist of motive, phrase, sentence and cluster. There are five clusters, melambaikan tangan, menumbok paha, napak lantai, pasang kaki kuda and silat. The upper design is vertical, horizontal design, contrast design, pure design, static design, straight design, angular design, postponed design. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan membaca pola ritme notasi balok pada siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Hilir. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII B berjumlah 42 orang terdiri dari 20 orang laki-laki dan 22 orang perempuan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi langsung dengan tes unjuk keterampilan dan pengetahuan. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan 4 tahap, yakni tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Dari hasil tes keterampilan siswa diperoleh data sebagai berikut ; hampir semua siswa sudah dapat menerapkan  durasi dengan baik, tempo sudah mulai stabil, aspek lancar dalam memainkannya masih kurang pada siklus I. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan, yaitu  semua siswa sudah dapat menerapkan durasi dan tempo dengan sangat baik dan sebahagian besar siswa sudah lancar membaca pola ritme notasi balok. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode drill  dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam membaca pola ritme notasi balok pada siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Hilir. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan, Notasi Balok, Pola Ritme.   Abstract : The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of students’ skill on reading Notation Beams rhythm pattern to the eighth grade B students' of SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Hilir. The method used in this research was a descriptive method. It was kind of classroom action research. The subjects of this research were students of class VIII B with the total number of students’ 42 students where 20 male students’ and 22 female students’. The technique use in this research was direct observation through performance tests and knowledge. This study was conducted in four stages: planning, implementating, observing, and reflecting. Based on the results of the students’ skill test, it was acquired data as follows: First cycle, almost all of students could apply precise duration well, the tempo has begun to appear stable but in the aspect of playing still weak. The second cycle, it was significantly improve. All students were able to apply the duration and tempo very well and most of the students were fluently in reading notation beams rthym. It can be concluded that the used of drill method could improve students' skills in reading patterns of beam rhythm notation in class VIII B of SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Hilir.   Keyword: Ability, Notation Beams, rhythm pattern.

Abstract

AbstrakBackground of this study was about the existency of symbol meaning that needs to be described related to the clothes that are used in Bentabuh dance. The research design of this study was Descriptive Analysis that was presented informs of qualitative research and fenomenology approach. The technique of the data validation test was presented informs of extensive observation, triangulation source, and triangulation technique. The result of this study ere presented informs of the clothes that is used by the dancers based on the on their characters such as Penongah (a guardian), a bride and groom, their Kombar  (a bridesmaid and groomsman) and two other dancers whose characters are as to hold a chicken and yellow rice.The meaning of the symbol of dance clothing Bentabuh can be seen from the stripes on the clothes (standing dragon is described as the symbol of the strength,  and also bamboo shoots, flowers, ferns, and leaves that symbolize that their life is depending on the nature), shapes (depending on the user's gender), colours (black, white, yellow, red, and gold). In addition, the result of this study are expected to be implemented in the course of Seni Budaya for eleventh (XI) graders. Keywords: Bentabuh, Dance Clothes, Symbol Meaning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca notasi balok dengan menggunakan metode drill pada pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dan sifat penelitian kolaboratif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VII C  Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 3 Sungai Raya Kepulauan. Yang menjadi subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru selaku peneliti yang melaksanakan pembelaran Seni Budaya dan Keterampilan dengan menggunakan metode drill dan siswa kelas VII C SMPN 3 Sungai Raya Kepulauan. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus pertama Teknik pernapasan siswa masih banyak yang menggunakan pernapasan perut sehingga mereka terlihat cepat letih. Pada aspek intonasi, masih banyak siswa yang membaca notasi balok dengan intonasi yang kurang tepat. Pada aspek artikulasi, masih banyak siswa yang ragu-ragu dalam membaca notasi balok sehingga suara yang keluar tidak jelas. Pada siklus II hampir seluruh siswa sudah menggunakan teknik pernapasan diafragma. Siswa sudah mampu dalam menyanyikan notasi balok dengan intonasi dan artikulasi yang tepat. Siswa juga sudah lebih serius dalam berekspresi saat menyanyikan lagu Burung Tantina.   Kata kunci : Kemampuan membaca notasi balok dan Metode Drill Abstract: Abstract: This study aims to improve students' skills in reading notation using the drill on learning. This research used descriptive research form of classroom action research and collaborative nature of the research. The research was conducted in classes VII C School SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya Islands. Who is the subject of this research is the teacher as a researcher conducting pembelaran Cultural Art and Craft using the drill and the students of class VII C SMPN 3 Sungai Raya Islands. Research results showed that in the first cycle of breathing techniques that many students still use abdominal breathing so they look tired quickly. In the aspect of intonation, there are still many students who read notation with less precise intonation. In the aspect of articulation, there are still many students who are hesitant in reading notation so that the sound that comes out is not clear. In the second cycle almost all the students are already using diaphragmatic breathing technique. Students have been able to sing notation with precise intonation and articulation. Abstract

Abstract Researchers want to explore thoroughly about the function of ritual dance Besagu Ayu who changed functions in the from of dance show.The method used in this research is descriptive method with a form of qualitative research and using ethnocoreology approach. The Data contained in this research is the fact about the process of the traditional ritual of treatment culture of Besagu Ayu Dance owned by the DayakKantu’ tribe in the village of Bika Hulu, Kapuas Hulu district, West Borneo. Data were analyzed qualitatively, with Thiento Yudhi, Tobias Ranggi and Rayun as the interviewees, who know clearly about Besagu Ayu dance of Dayak Kantu'. The data proceeded through the results of observation, interviews and documentation. Mechanical testing the validity of the data using techniques credibility test, and data were analyzed using interviews and field notes in a systematic search for and compile the data obtained.Based on the data analysis, can be summarized as follows. Besagu Ayu dance in Dayak Kantu’ in the District of Kapuas Hulu in West Borneo is a traditional dance of treatment ritual. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untu meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran seni tari melalui model Group Investigation pada siswa kelas X MA. Al-Adabiy Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan/action resererch, dan Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya peningkatan minat siswa dari prasiklus hingga siklus II. Setelah semua siklus dilaksanakan siswa tampak antusias dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran seni tari. peningkatan minat siswa tidak dilihat dari hasil observasi, tetapi dibuktikan dengan wawancara dengan siswa dan angket. Peningkatan minat siswa dinilai dari indikator perhatian, indikator kesenangan, dan indikator ketertarikan. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran seni tari melalui model Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan minat siswa kelas X B MA. Adabiy Pontianak.   Kata kunci : minat, pembelajaan, model Group Investigation   Abstract: This study aims untu increase students' interest towards learning the art of dance through a model of Group Investigation in class X MA. Al-Adabiy Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive method, Form of research is action / action resererch, and the research approach used is qualitative. Results from the study showed that an increase in interest in students from prasiklus until the second cycle. After all cycles carried out the students seemed enthusiastic and excited in participating in learning the art of dance. increase student interest is not seen from the observation, but evidenced by interviews with students and questionnaires. Increased student interest assessed from the attention indicator, the indicator pleasure, and indicators of interest. The conclusion of this research is learning the art of dance through Group Investigation model can increase student interest in class X B MA. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to describe floor patterns of Nyingal, describe the meaning of floor patterns of Nyingal dance, and the lesson plans. Due to this importance, descriptive method in form of qualitative through ethnography approach was necessary. The sources of data used were two interviewees with the technique of triangulation and lengthened observation. Gawia ritual was a ceremony held after rice-harvest. In the ritual of Gawia, there was a dance which the floor pattern has meaning. The floor pattern which had meaning in the ritual of Gawia namely, horse shoe floor pattern “U”, straight floor pattern, and round floor pattern. The meaning mentioned in horse shoe floor pattern “U” was that the soul of ancestors alive during the Gawia ceremony, the meaning which straight floor pattern brings was respecting to Topa (The God) and the soul of ancestors and the last was the meaning of straight floor pattern, namely asking for grace. The result of this research was expected to be implemented in a lesson plan in grade VIII on the floor pattern of Nyingal dance in Art and Culture subject. Keywords: Meaning, Floor Pattern, Nyingal Dance

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to desecrate students’ dance movement skills improvement by implementing drilling method in dance subject of Class VII B of Junior High School 1 of Bengkayang District. The problems faced by the students were the lack of dancing skills and practices, this making them feel nervous, stiff, and unconfident when being asked to do dance moves. This was due to habits in learning art and culture in class, especially dance subject, the teachers dominantly explain the material theoretically instead of practically. This study was a qualitative descriptive research in form of a classroom action research by implementing drilling method in the learning. This study was conducted in two cycles in the form of practical tests for students in which at the end of each cycle the students were assigned to practically present the dance performance. The findings showed that students’ practical dancing skills have improved, that is, the students were able to dance easily and flexibly. Hence, the students were more fluent in practicing the dance movements. The skills from cycle 1 to cycle 2 have improved from the mean scores 69,03 to 85,43. Hence, drilling method was effective in improving students’ dancing practice skills.  Keywords: Drilling method, Dance movement , Skill improvement.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi kurangnya tanggung jawab terhadap aturan dan syarat dalam tradisi upacara pernikahan yang merupakan ritual warisan turun temurun dari nenek moyang, dan perlu adanya upaya untuk melestarikan dan mengetahui fungsi tari tradisi yang ada didaerah setempat adalah Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan di Kabupaten Ketapang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) pendeskripsian proses Upacara Pernikahan Adat Dayak Pesaguan Di Kabupaten Ketapang. 2) Pendeskripsian Fungsi Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan Di Kabupaten Ketapang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode etnografi dengan bentuk penelitian analisis deskriptif dan menggunakan pendekatan etnokoreologi. Data yang terdapat pada penelitian ini merupakan fakta mengenai proses upacara pernikahan dan Fungsi Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan Di Kabupaten Ketapang. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif, Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan merupakan tari yang termasuk dalam Ritual Upacara Pernikahan Adat Dayak Pesaguan. Fungsi Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan dalam upacara pernikahan yaitu berfungsi sebagai upacara. Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan memiliki waktu, tempat, penari, sesajian yang telah ditentukan leluhur.   Kata kunci: analisis. upacara pernikahan. fungsi. Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan   Abstract: The background of this research is the lack of responsibility to the rules and requirements in the tradition of wedding ceremony is a ritual legacy handed down from the ancestors, and the need for efforts to preserve the traditions of dance and determine the function of existing local area are Dayak Dance Pesaguan in Ketapang. The purpose of this study were: 1) the description of the Wedding Ceremony Dayak Pesaguan In Ketapang. 2) Descriptions of functions Dayak Dance Pesaguan In Ketapang. The method used in this research is the method of ethnography with the form of descriptive analysis and use etnokoreologi approach. Data contained in this research is the fact the wedding ceremony process and function of Indigenous Dayak Dance Pesaguan In Ketapang. Data were analyzed qualitatively, Based on data analysis can be summarized as follows. Pesaguan Dayak dance is a dance that is included in the Wedding Ceremony Dayak Ritual Pesaguan. Dayak Dance Pesaguan function in the wedding ceremony that serves as a ceremony.
