Abstract

This Community Service (CS) contained training and mentoring for all teachers and education personnel at the Laboratory Elementary School of UPI Serang Campus. The purpose of this CS is to provide basic knowledge and skills to teachers and education personnel about the prevention and handling of school bullying. The implementation of CS activities is carried out through three main stages. The first stage was an initial survey, aiming to gather information about the demographics of the participants and understand their level of understanding about bullying. This information became the basis for designing training that suited the needs of the participants. The second stage was the training to provide both insights and practical skills that can be applied immediately, which consisted of two main sessions: a session focused on introducing and understanding different forms of bullying, so that participants were able to recognise the signs and effects of this behaviour; and a session provided practical guidance to effectively respond to and deal with bullying in the school environment. The final stage was a final survey to evaluate participants' perceptions of the training materials that had been delivered as well as to formulate a follow-up plan for the workshop in form of lectures, brainstorming and interactive discussions to ensure the sustainability of the programme. The results of the training showed that the education units consisting of teachers and education personnel involved had a better understanding of the concept of bullying. They are expected to follow up on this activity by developing bullying prevention programmes in their respective schools, thus creating a safer and more inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

Kurangnya publikasi terkait pengaruh program Adiwiyata dalam pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan masih sangat kecil di masyakarat. Padahal dalam kenyataan dengan adanya program Adiwiyata yang sebenarnya dapat berperan dalam pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat mengetahui pelaksanaan program sekolah adiwiyata di SDN Serang 1, mengetahui implikasi program sekolah adiwiyata terhadap pembinaan peduli lingkungan siswa di SDN Serang 11 serta untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana karakter peduli lingkungan siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Serang 11 yang merupakan salah satu sekolah yang memiliki program sekolah adiwiyata di kota Serang. Jenis pendekatan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V, wali kelas dan warga sekolah lainnya di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Serang 11. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket dan wawancara. Dengan angket yang mencakup empat indikator seperti, penghematan energi, pengelolaan sampah, pemanfaatan air, dan peduli lingkungan sekitar. Dengan demikian, hasil dari penelitian bisa disimpulkan bahwa siswa pada sekolah adiwiyata Sekolah Dasar Negeri Serang 11 rata-rata memiliki karakter peduli lingkungan yang tinggi.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to analyze the phenomenon of empathy monetization in TikTok live streaming from the perspective of Islamic economic law, particularly within the Maqashid Shariah framework. Qualitative research used as a research method with a literature study approach. Data and information were collected from various literature sources, such as scientific journal articles and other related documents discussing Islamic economic law, Maqashid Shariah, and live streaming phenomena. The results show that empathy monetization in TikTok live streaming involves the practice of buying and selling emotional support, where users provide virtual donations in exchange for attention and empathy given by streamers. From the perspective of Islamic economic law, this practice contains elements of gharar and maysir, as there is no guarantee that the empathy provided by streamers is proportional to the donations given by users. Furthermore, viewed from Maqashid Shariah, this practice potentially contradicts the objectives of hifz al-nafs and hifz al-mal, as it can lead to emotional exploitation and commercialization of human values that degrade human dignity. The conclusion of this research is that empathy monetization in TikTok live streaming is inconsistent with the principles of Islamic economic law and contradicts Maqashid Shariah. The implications of these findings include the need for clearer regulations regarding monetization practices on social media platforms, as well as education for the public about ethics and boundaries in social media interactions. This study has limitations because it is qualitative in nature, and thus the authors did not conduct direct and in-depth observations of the TikTok phenomenon. We strongly hope that future researchers will conduct studies with direct observation to obtain more relevant data.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of diminishing appreciation among students with different cultural backgrounds. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 7 Manggar, East Belitung Regency. In this study, the researcher intends to review the application of the study visit method as an effort that has been undertaken by school to support the process of cultural literacy, which then serves as a response to the existing phenomenon. A qualitative approach is used in this research because it allows for a more accurate understanding of the phenomena that occur. The method used is narrative inquiry research, this method was chosen because it relates to experiences and life events. The research process is supported by using observation and unstructured interview data collection techniques. The data used was then analyzed with reference to the data analysis by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The research findings explain that through the process of cultural literacy by conducting study visits to traditional houses in Belitung, teachers can guide students' understanding of local cultural values, particularly the values of mutual respect and cooperation embodied in the traditional houses of Belitung. These cultural values then contribute to fostering an inclusive attitude among students in their daily lives and serve as a unifying strength amidst the cultural diversity in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to describe the implementation of various outbound program activities at SD Peradaban Serang in forming the self-confidence character of grade 4 students. This study discusses the importance of students having high self-confidence so that students can apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in developing their own interests, talents and skills/capabilities maturely. However, in reality, the function of education as a means of forming student character has not been fully implemented or has not been optimally applied in the educational environment itself. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study showed that the outbound program consisting of flying fox activities, fun games, and life skills was able to foster six indicators of self-confidence character, namely: confident in one's own abilities, optimistic, responsible, rational, brave, and objective. Overall, of the 17 students observed, most of them received the highest assessment reaching 4.5. with the predicate "good" to "very good" in the self-confidence indicator. This shows that the outbound program is effective in forming students' self-confident character through fun and meaningful direct experiences. This outbound program is effective in forming students' self-confident character through selected activities that have been adjusted by the school.Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan implementasi dari berbagai kegiatan program outbound di SD Peradaban Serang dalam membentuk karakter percaya diri siswa kelas 4. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pentingnya bagi siswa memiliki rasa percaya diri yang tinggi agar siswa tersebut dapat mengaplikasikan ilmu dan pengetahuan yang telah didapat dalam mengambangkan minat bakat dan keterampilan/kapabilitas dirinya sendiri dengan matang. Namun, kenyataannya fungsi pendidikan sebagai sarana pembentukan karakter siswa belum sepenuhnya terlaksana atau belum optimal diterapkan di lingkungan pendidikan itu sendiri. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, dalam proses pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan instrumen wawancara yang disampaikan kepada siswa, guru kelas, dan kepala sekolah. Serta lembar observasi dalam mencatat hasil lapangan yang ditemukan peneliti. Data yang diperoleh peneliti analisis data model interaktif menurut Miles dan Huberman, data yang dikumpulkan kemudian direduksi sebelum disajikan sebagai data akhir, setelah data selesai dianalisis dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai hasil akhir.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program outbound yang terdiri dari kegiatan flying fox, fun games, dan life skill mampu menumbuhkan enam indikator karakter percaya diri, yaitu: yakin dengan kemampuan diri sendiri, optimis, bertanggung jawab, rasional, berani, dan objektif. Secara keseluruhan, dari 17 siswa yang diamati, sebagian besar memperoleh penilaian tertinggi mencapai 4,5. dengan predikat “baik” hingga “sangat baik” dalam indikator kepercayaan diri. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa program outbound efektif dalam membentuk karakter percaya diri siswa melalui pengalaman langsung yang menyenangkan dan bermakna program outbound ini efektif dalam membentuk karakter percaya diri siswa melalui kegiatan pilihan yang sudah disesuaikan oleh pihak sekolah.

Abstract

Corruption is a serious crime that has a widespread impact on the state and society. However, law enforcement efforts still face various structural and implementation obstacles, such as weak deterrent effects, political intervention, and inconsistent court decisions. This study aims to explore the relationship between the concepts of hudud and ta'zir in Islamic criminal law and efforts to combat corruption within the framework of modern law. The research method used is qualitative through literature review, examining classical fiqh texts, national legislation, and relevant scientific literature. The results of the study indicate that corruption does not fall under the category of hudud because it does not meet the technical and substantive requirements determined by sharia. However, corruption can be classified as a ta'zir crime, which gives judges or authorities the flexibility to impose penalties based on the severity of the crime, ranging from fines, asset recovery, removal from office, to the death penalty in cases that cause widespread harm to the state. Compared to Indonesia's positive legal system, which tends to be weak in enforcing strict sanctions, the principles of ta'zir are considered more responsive and adaptive. Therefore, this finding recommends that the principles of ta'zir be used as a normative and philosophical reference in the formulation of national legal policies to create a more fair, strict, and socially just system for enforcing anti-corruption laws.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui implementasi kurikulum merdeka belajar di kelas 1 dan 4 serta upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi problematika yang dihadapi dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa kelas I dan IV. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara,   dan   dokumentasi.   Untuk   menguji validitas data, peneliti menggunakan analisis data yang ketat dan triangulasi, memeriksa data dari lokasi yang sama menggunakan metode yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar mulai diterapkan secara bertahap untuk siswa kelas I dan IV sejak tahun 2021, sementara Kurikulum 2013 masih digunakan oleh kelas II, III, V, dan VI. Kurikulum ini mengubah pendekatan pembelajaran untuk siswa kelas I hingga IV dari pembelajaran tematik menjadi pembelajaran berbasis mata pelajaran. Namun, guru di SD Negeri Serang 8 menghadapi berbagai kesulitan dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka, terutama dalam hal perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Mereka kesulitan memahami dan membedakan Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) yang diberikan oleh pusat serta mengorganisasi Tujuan Pembelajaran (TP) menjadi Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP). Selain itu, guru juga mengalami kesulitan menemukan teknik dan metodologi pembelajaran yang sesuai, cenderung tetap menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang sama seperti pada kurikulum sebelumnya karena masih khawatir dan belum mampu keluar dari zona nyaman mereka. Kurangnya strategi pembelajaran dan bahan ajar yang memadai juga menjadi masalah bagi guru dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka. Kurangnya dukungan dan sumber daya membuat mereka kesulitan beradaptasi dengan perubahan kurikulum ini. Selain itu, sarana dan prasarana juga menjadi masalah dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter di Indonesia masih memiliki kualitas karakter yang belum baik, meskipun karakter memengaruhi semua aspek kehidupan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana prinsip-prinsip The Seven Habits digunakan untuk membina karakter siswa di SD Peradaban Serang. Studi ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan studi kasus. Penelitian dilaksankan di SD Peradaban Serang, partisipannya yaitu kepala sekolah, wali kelas, dan siswa kelas 4-6. Analisis kualitatif model Miles dan Huberman digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian dari observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menerapkan prinsip The Seven Habits dapat membina karakter siswa di SD Peradaban Serang. Penerapan prinsip tersebut dapat membina 17 nilai karakter siswa. Nilai karakter tersebut sebagai berikut: religius, tanggung jawab, mandiri, jujur, bersahabat dan komunikatif, ingin tahu, membaca, disiplin, peduli sosial, menghargai prestasi, semangat kebangsaan, kerja keras, damai, demokratis, dan kreatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 94% siswa memberikan respon tepat, dan 6% siswa memberikan respon tidak tepat. Melalui langkah kebiasaan yang konsisten, penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontibusi baru dalam bidang pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

This study analyzes the efficiency of the education budget from an Islamic perspective by highlighting the principles of transparency, accountability, and resource optimization. In Islam, the efficiency of the education budget aims to avoid waste and ensure fair and sharia-compliant financial distribution. This study uses a literature study method by analyzing various relevant literature. The results of the study indicate that the principle of efficiency in Islam can be applied through funding sources such as zakat, waqf, and alms that are managed professionally. In addition, community participation in financing education can increase the effectiveness of budget use. However, the budget efficiency policy also faces challenges, especially in the context of government policies, such as cutting the education budget which risks reducing the welfare of educators and the quality of education. Therefore, the implementation of efficiency must consider the balance between savings and meeting the needs of quality education, by involving strict supervision and public participation to remain in line with the principles of justice in Islam. Penelitian ini menganalisis efisiensi anggaran pendidikan perspektif Islam dengan menyoroti prinsip transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan optimalisasi sumber daya. Dalam Islam, efisiensi anggaran pendidikan bertujuan menghindari pemborosan serta memastikan distribusi keuangan yang adil dan sesuai syariah. Studi ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan menganalisis berbagai literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip efisiensi dalam Islam dapat diterapkan melalui sumber pendanaan seperti zakat, wakaf, dan sedekah yang dikelola secara profesional. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembiayaan pendidikan juga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas penggunaan anggaran. Namun, kebijakan efisiensi anggaran menghadapi tantangan, terutama dalam konteks kebijakan pemerintah, seperti pemangkasan anggaran pendidikan yang berisiko mengurangi kesejahteraan tenaga pendidik dan kualitas pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, implementasi efisiensi anggaran harus mempertimbangkan keseimbangan antara penghematan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan pendidikan berkualitas, dengan melibatkan pengawasan ketat dan partisipasi publik agar selaras dengan prinsip keadilan dalam Islam. Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                    Pengabdian ini bertujuan mendampingi guru sekolah dasar dalam menginternalisasi kebijakan kokurikuler berbasis deep learning di SDN Tejang, Pulau Sebesi (Lampung Selatan). Mitra kegiatan adalah SDN Tejang, dengan partisipasi 14 orang guru serta dukungan kepala sekolah. Program berlangsung 3 hari melalui tahapan: (1) koordinasi dan asesmen kebutuhan mitra; (2) persiapan modul dan instrumen; (3) lokakarya konseptual Kurikulum Merdeka dan deep learning; (4) pendampingan individu/kelompok untuk perancangan projek; (5) simulasi pembelajaran; dan (6) forum reflektif guru. Evaluasi menggunakan pre–post angket Likert (konstruk: pemahaman kebijakan, pemahaman deep learning, keterampilan desain projek), observasi partisipatif pada sesi simulasi, telaah artefak (RPP/CP, matriks alignment, rubrik), serta wawancara reflektif singkat. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pemahaman guru terhadap kebijakan kokurikuler dari 3,5 menjadi 4,0, dan persepsi akan pentingnya kokurikuler naik dari 3,8 menjadi 4,2. Pemahaman terhadap konsep deep learning juga meningkat dari 3,6 menjadi 4,3. Sebagian besar guru mulai memahami bahwa deep learning adalah pendekatan resmi dalam Permendikdasmen 13/2025, dan dapat dihubungkan dengan pembelajaran berbasis projek. Selain itu, guru berhasil mengidentifikasi tema projek kontekstual yang relevan dengan kehidupan lokal, seperti pengelolaan sampah pesisir, ekonomi nelayan, dan budaya maritim. Perubahan peran guru juga teramati, dari instruktur menjadi fasilitator reflektif, meskipun sebagian masih menyuarakan tantangan terkait sarana dan keberagaman siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pendampingan holistik ini efektif meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dan menghasilkan praktik pembelajaran kontekstual yang berkelanjutan. Model ini berpotensi direplikasi di sekolah-sekolah kepulauan lainnya sebagai strategi implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang adaptif dan kontekstual. Kata kunci: kokurikuler; deep learning; guru sekolah dasar; Pulau Sebesi; Kurikulum Merdeka. ABSTRACTThis community engagement program aimed to assist elementary school teachers in internalizing the co-curricular policy based on deep learning at SDN Tejang, located on Pulau Sebesi (South Lampung). The partner in this activity was SDN Tejang, involving 14 teachers with the support of the school principal. The program was conducted over three days and consisted of the following stages: (1) initial coordination and needs assessment with the partner school; (2) preparation of modules and instruments; (3) conceptual workshop on the Merdeka Curriculum and deep learning; (4) individual and group mentoring for project planning; (5) project-based learning simulation; and (6) teacher reflection forum. The evaluation employed a pre–post Likert-scale questionnaire (measuring: policy comprehension, understanding of deep learning, and project design skills), participatory observation during simulations, document analysis (lesson plans, alignment matrices, rubrics), and short reflective interviews. The results showed an increase in the average score of teachers’ understanding of co-curricular policy from 3.5 to 4.0, and the perceived importance of co-curricular programs rose from 3.8 to 4.2. Understanding of the deep learning concept also improved from 3.6 to 4.3. Most teachers began to recognize deep learning as an official pedagogical approach stated in Permendikdasmen 13/2025 and were able to link it with project-based learning practices. In addition, teachers successfully identified context-based project themes relevant to local life, such as coastal waste management, fishermen's economy, and maritime culture. A notable shift was observed in teachers’ roles, from mere instructors to reflective facilitators, although some still expressed concerns regarding limited facilities and student diversity. In conclusion, this holistic mentoring model was proven effective in enhancing teachers’ pedagogical competence and in producing sustainable, contextual teaching practices. This model also has strong potential for replication in other island schools as an adaptive and contextual implementation strategy of the Merdeka Curriculum. Keywords: co-curricular; deep learning; elementary school teachers; Pulau Sebesi; Merdeka Curriculum
