Abstract

Dalam praktik budidaya hidroponik, pengaturan keseimbangan pH air menjadi aspek penting dalam memastikan pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman mencapai level terbaik. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah sistem yang dapat mengontrol dan memantau pH air dalam tanaman hidroponik, menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (RD) dengan menggunakan aplikasi Blynk berbasis ESP32. Dalam tahap perancangan, peneliti menggunakan sensor pH air 4502C untuk mengukur tingkat pH air dalam sistem hidroponik. Mikrokontroler ESP32 bertugas sebagai penghubung antara sensor dan aplikasi Blynk yang dijalankan pada perangkat seluler. Hasil dari eksperimen ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem monitoring dan pengontrolan pH air pada hidroponik menggunakan aplikasi Blynk berbasis ESP32 dan sensor pH air 4502C berhasil secara akurat dan responsif memantau dan mengontrol tingkat pH air. Dengan demikian, Sistem ini efisien dalam menjaga keseimbangan pH air dalam hidroponik guna mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman yang optimal.In hydroponic cultivation practices, regulating the pH balance of water is an important aspect in ensuring plant growth and productivity reaches the best level. Therefore, the aim of this research is to design and build a system that can control and monitor the pH of water in hydroponic plants, using Research and Development (RD) research methods using the ESP32-based Blynk application. In the design stage, researchers used a 4502C water pH sensor to measure the pH level of water in a hydroponic system. The ESP32 microcontroller serves as a link between the sensor and the Blynk application running on the mobile device. The results of this experiment show that the water pH monitoring and control system in hydroponics using the ESP32-based Blynk application and the 4502C water pH sensor succeeded in accurately and responsively monitoring and controlling water pH levels. Thus, this system is efficient in maintaining the pH balance of water in hydroponics to support optimal plant growth.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengoptimalkan   transformasi digital media pembelajaran   Teknik Elektro dan Komputer. Sehingga proses pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel karena bisa offline dan juga online dan hibryd, serta membantu mahasiswa untuk tetap terus belajar secara mandiri dan termotivasi belajar terus. Selanjutnya pada Transformasi Digital perlu  dikembangkan lebih lanjut agar lebih interaktif. Teknologi transformasi digital merupakan pengembangan teknologi masa depan dengan adanya digitalisasi. Penerapan teknologi digital dapat memfasilitasi mahasiswa untuk tetap terus meningkatkan belajar secara mandiri. Metode yang digunakan adalah perancangan media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, transformasi digital media pembelajaran Teknik Elektro dan Komputer   dapat lebih optimal sebab dengan adanya pemanfaatan transformasi digital  maka diharapkan terjadinya digitalisasi dalam proses pembelajaran pada Jurusan Teknik Elektro dan Komputer, sehingga di implementasi transformasi digital pada media pembelajaran Teknik Elektro dan Komputer dapat meningkatakan  motivasi dan kemandirian belajar. Pemanfaatan transformasi digital pada  mata kuliah Teknik Telekomunikasi Dasar dan Sistem Telekomunikasi lanjut.The aim of this research is to optimize the digital media transformation of Electrical and Computer Engineering learning. So the learning process is more flexible because it can be offline as well as online and hybrid, and helps students continue to learn independently and be motivated to continue learning. Furthermore, Digital Transformation needs to be developed further to make it more interactive. Digital transformation technology is the development of future technology with digitalization. The application of digital technology can facilitate students to continue to improve their learning independently. The method used is learning media design. The research results obtained show that digital media transformation for Electrical and Computer Engineering learning can be more optimal because with the use of digital transformation, it is hoped that digitalization will occur in the learning process in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, so that the implementation of digital transformation in Electrical and Computer Engineering learning media can increase motivation. and learning independence. Utilization of digital transformation in Basic Telecommunication Engineering and digitalTelecommunication Systems courses.

Abstract

Work as a nurse requires direct contact with patients, for example when carrying drugs or changing IVs. However, since the COVID-19 pandemic, awareness to reduce direct contact with patients is increasingly needed. Moreover, direct contact with patients with infectious diseases, such as covid-19. For this reason, it is necessary to create a tool / robot that can connect nurses and patients, especially patients with infectious diseases. In this study, a robot design and implementation was made that can assist nurses in delivering drugs to patients, without having to make direct contact with patients. IoT-based designed robots using NodeMCU, ESP8266 and Blynk. NodeMCU ESP8266 is used as a data processor and smartphones are used as remote controls via the internet. Data from the smartphone is processed by NodeMCU then sends a signal to the robot actuator via the L298N driver motor to drive the wheels. Furthermore, the internet-connected IP camera is used for live streaming on smartphones through the V380 Pro application as a directional guide. Then to prevent collisions, the ultrasonic sensor HCSR04 will send data to NodeMCU ESP8266 if there is an obstacle at a distance of 30 cm in front of the robot, so that the robot will move backwards. The experimental results show that the robot can run well where the robot is controlled by a nurse using the Blynk IoT application and V380 Pro on a smartphone via internet media. Then the test was carried out with two methods, namely smartphones using the robot's local Wi-Fi connection and smartphones using cellular networks. The results showed that the response time of the application command on the smartphone to the robot or viewing video results from the IP Camera was affected by the condition of the internet network used.

Abstract

The information system is a tool to facilitate the potential and resource management in a village. However, due to the current development of the information system in Isimu Utara Village, there are some unavailable and inaccessible features in the system, one of which is the monitoring feature for land and building tax payments. Thus, the researcher is concerned with developing new features in the village information system as one of the alternatives to overcome the problem. This research aimed to develop a land and building tax monitoring module that could be integrated into existing systems. This research implemented the Extreme Programming (XP) method because it had fast and iterative development stages for each part and was aligned with the main goals and targets of development. The result showed that the monitoring module was integrated successfully and became one of the main menus in the village information system. The result of the Unit Test and Acceptance Test also showed that the program has run well.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian  ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana Persepsi mahasiswa dan Pre Eksperimental laboratory virtual pada praktikum Teknik Telekomunikasi Dasar saat era pandemic COVID 19. Laboratory Virtual  terdiri  dari  beberapa  bagian  yaitu:  Modul,  langkah  langkah Praktikum , alat dan bahan praktikum, membuat laporan . Laboratory Virtual dikembangkan di dalam mata kuliah Teknik Telekomunikasi Dasar untuk Praktikum  dan didukung oleh petunjuk pelaksanaan.  Metode yang digunakan pre Eksperemental Design Penelitian eksperimental (eksperimental research), merupakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif yang paling penuh, dalam arti memenuhi semua persyaratan untuk menguji hubungan  sebab-akibat.  Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar untuk lebih mengembangkan aplikasi Laboratory Virtual  sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk menciptakan praktikum secara online namun yang lebih menarik, membantu meningkatkan penguasaan konsep, dan mengatasi keterbatasan fasilitas laboratorium, Kantor virtual dapat diakses kapan saja , saat pandemic covid 19   maka praktikum virtual lab adalah bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa sesuai hasil responden  memilih setuju 57 ,1 % dan 28,6 sangat setuju  sehingga totalnya adalah   85, 7 % .The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which students' perceptions and pre-experimental virtual laboratories on the Basic Telecommunication Engineering practicum during the COVID-19 pandemic era. The Virtual Laboratory consists of several parts, namely: Modules, practicum steps, practicum tools and materials, making reports. The Virtual Laboratory is developed in the Basic Telecommunications Engineering course for Practicum and is supported by implementation instructions. This research method uses pre-Experimental Design Experimental research (experimental research), is the most comprehensive qualitative research approach, in the sense that it fulfills all the requirements to test cause-and-effect relationships. Experimental research has a characteristic, namely directly testing the effect of a variable on other variables and testing the hypothesis of a causal relationship and seeing student perceptions when using a virtual laboratory application by using a survey on electrical engineering students. virtual lab applications as an alternative to creating online practicums but which are more interesting, helping to improve mastery of concepts, and overcoming the limitations of laboratory facilities, virtual offices can be accessed anytime, during the covid 19 pandemic, virtual lab practicums are beneficial for students according to the results of respondents voted agree 57.1% and 28.6 strongly agree so that the total is 85.7%.

Abstract

Proses pengeringan merupakan hal penting dalam penanganan bahan pertanian pasca panen, akan tetapi proses pengeringan yang dilakukan para petani di Gorontalo khususnya di Gororontalo Utara masih menggunakan metode pengeringan manual yang masih bergantung pada intensitas cahaya matahari dan masih membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk proses pengeringannya. Hal ini yang membuat peneliti megambil inisiatif untuk merancang model alat pengering indoor otomatis hasil pertanian berbasis arduino uno yang bertujuan untuk mempercepat proses pengeringan dan tidak bergantung pada intensitas cahaya matahari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dimana peneliti membuat model alat pengering otomatis dan melakukan percobaan menggunakan jagung, gabah dan kedelai terhadap kerja alat yang dibuat. Alat ini bekerja di kontrol langsung oleh arduino yang menerima sinyal dari sensor DHT11 sebagai moniroring suhu dan soil moisture sensor sebagai monitoring kadar air yang terkandung pada bahan hasil pertanian.  Alat ini dapat mengeringkan bahan pertanian biji-bijian 2 sampai 3 jam tergantung jumlah kadar air yang terkandung dalam produk bahan pertanian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa alat yang dibuat sudah berhasil dan sudah bekerja sesuai dengan perancangan yang direncanakan.The drying process is important in handling post-harvest agricultural materials, however the drying process carried out by farmers in Gorontalo, especially in North Gororntalo, still uses manual drying methods which still depend on the intensity of sunlight and still require a long time for the drying process. This is what made researchers take the initiative to design a model of an automatic indoor dryer for agricultural products based on Arduino Uno which aims to speed up the drying process and does not depend on the intensity of sunlight. The method used in this research is an experimental method where the researcher makes a model of an automatic drying tool and carries out experiments using corn, grain and soybeans on the working of the tool made. This tool works under direct control by Arduino which receives signals from the DHT11 sensor for temperature monitoring and the soil moisture sensor for monitoring the water content contained in agricultural produce. This tool can dry grain agricultural materials for 2 to 3 hours depending on the amount of water content contained in the agricultural product. The research results show that the tool created has been successful and has worked according to the planned design.

Abstract

One of the arts in creating a beautiful natural environment in an aquarium is aquascaping. It requires good planning in the placement of water, rocks, plants and animals in the aquarium. In addition, it is necessary to control the acidity level (pH) of the water so that it is in a stable condition needed by the flora and fauna in the aquarium. In this research, automatic control is implemented using an Arduino Uno R3 for the pH sensor. This Arduino Uno R3 is used to control pH, temperature, and lighting. The ideal temperature in aquascaping is kept at 220C - 250 C by controlling it through a DC fan, and the pH of the water is controlled through a water pump. With this automatic control, aquarium owners can save on monitoring costs and time compared to manual methods.Salah satu seni dalam menciptakan lingkungan alam yang indah di dalam akuarium adalah aquascaping. Diperlukan perencanaan yang baik dalam penempatan air, bebatuan, tanaman dan hewan di dalam akuarium. Selain itu, perlu adanya pengontrolan tingkat keasaman (pH) air agar berada dalam kondisi stabil yang dibutuhkan oleh flora dan fauna di dalam akuarium. Pada penelitian ini, kontrol otomatis diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan Arduino Uno R3 untuk sensor pH. Arduino Uno R3 ini digunakan untuk mengontrol pH, suhu, dan pencahayaan. Suhu ideal pada aquascaping dijaga pada suhu 220C - 250 C dengan mengontrolnya melalui kipas DC, dan pH air dikontrol melalui pompa air. Dengan kontrol otomatis ini, pemilik akuarium dapat menghemat biaya dan waktu pemantauan dibandingkan dengan metode manual.

Abstract

High demand and digital penetration in various aspects of human life has directly created a huge industry in technology. This is reflected in the impact of the widespread use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) which allows for a more efficient way of providing education that makes it easier for educators, students, and students. The purpose of this research is to create a product on the development of learning media in telecommunications systems courses using the digital-based ADDIE method. This research is an RD (Research and Development) development research that uses the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, namely 1.) Analyze; 2.) Design; 3.) Development; 4.) Implementation; and 5.) Evaluation. The learning media developed is a website that can be used for the Telecommunication System course at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University. The results of this research are in the form of website-based learning media that can be used for the learning process of Telecommunication Systems courses and have been adjusted to the needs based on the needs analysis at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University.  Permintaan yang tinggi dan penetrasi digital di berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia secara langsung telah menciptakan industri besar dibidang teknologi. Hal ini tercermin dari dampak meluasnya penggunaan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) yang memungkinkan terselenggaranya cara yang lebih efisien dalam memberikan edukasi Pendidikan yang memudahkan bagi para tenaga pendidik, siswa, dan mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat produk pada pengembangan media pembelajaran di mata kuliah sistem telekomunikasi dengan menggunakan metode ADDIE berbasis digital. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan RD (Research and Development) yang menggunakan model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima tahap yakni  1.) Analysis; 2.) Design; 3.) Development; 4.) Implementation; end 5.) Evaluation. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan merupakan sebuah website yang dapat digunakan untuk mata kuliah Sistem Telekomunikasi pada Jurusan Teknik Elektro dan Komputer Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Hasil penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran berbasis website yang dapat digunakan untuk proses pembelajaran mata kuliah Sistem Telekomunikasi dan telah di sesuaikan dengan kebutuhan berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan pada Jurusan Teknik Elektro dan Komputer Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Profesi di BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Gorontalo bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam memahami praktik layanan publik serta mendukung efisiensi pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini difokuskan pada peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya jaminan sosial dan optimalisasi layanan klaim, khususnya Jaminan Hari Tua (JHT), Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja (JKK), dan Jaminan Kematian (JKM). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi, partisipasi aktif dalam layanan, edukasi peserta, dan digitalisasi administrasi melalui aplikasi JMO (Jamsostek Mobile). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan efektivitas layanan dan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam menggunakan aplikasi JMO serta memahami prosedur klaim. Kendala yang ditemukan meliputi kurangnya literasi digital peserta dan keterlambatan klaim akibat ketidaksesuaian data, yang diselesaikan melalui pendampingan langsung dan pelatihan internal. Program ini berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan efisiensi layanan dan memperkuat sinergi antara BPJS dan masyarakat. The Professional Community Service Program (KKN) at the Gorontalo Branch of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan aims to enhance students' insight and skills in understanding public service practices and supporting efficient service delivery to the public. This program focuses on increasing public awareness of the importance of social security and optimizing claims services, particularly for Old Age Security (JHT), Work Accident Security (JKK), and Death Security (JKM). Implementation methods include observation, active participation in services, participant education, and administrative digitization through the JMO (Jamsostek Mobile) application. Results indicate an increase in service effectiveness and public knowledge in using the JMO application and understanding claims procedures. Obstacles identified included a lack of participant digital literacy and delays in claims due to data discrepancies, which were resolved through direct mentoring and internal training. This program positively contributed to improving service efficiency and strengthening synergy between BPJS and the public.
