Abstract

Tujuan pembelajaran matematika di Madrasah Aliyah (MA) yang tercantum dalamkurikulum 2004 adalah mengembangkan aktifitas kreatif yang melibatkan imajinasi, intuisi dan penemuanserta mengembangkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah (Depdiknas, 2004). Tujuan ini, tidaklah mudahdicapai oleh siswa MA. Madrasah Aliyah memiliki dua jenis mata pelajaran yaitu mata pelajaran yangsifatnya umum dan mata pelajaran agama. Namun pihak sekolah mengharapkan siswa mampu menguasaikedua jenis mata pelajaran ini dan mencapai hasil belajar yang tinggi. Kenyataan yang terjadi di lapanganmenunjukkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran umum masih rendah terutama pada pelajaranmatematika. Tuntutan dari tujuan pembelajaran matematika yang tercantum pada kurikulum 2004 inisesuai dengan teori konstruktivisme. Teori ini menganjurkan keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dalampembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang berdasarkan teorikonstruktivisme adalah model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah. Dari beberapa hasil penelitian, terlihatgejala dimana pada model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah belum terciptanya rasa tanggung jawabsetiap individu (siswa) dalam menemukan informasi dan siswa yang dikategorikan pintar belum mempunyairasa tanggung jawab untuk membantu siswa yang lemah dalam kegiatan kelompok. Untuk mengatasimasalah ini salah satu model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada tanggung jawab individu/anggotakelompok dalam menemukan informasi dan penekanan pada aspek sosial.adalah model pembelajarankooperatif (Slavin, 1995). Salah satu model pembelajaran kooperatif yaitu TAI (Team AsistedIndividualization) yaitu pembelajaran dimana setiap siswa berfungsi sebagai asisten dalam kelompoknya(Slavin, 1995). Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti menerapkan pembelajaran berdasarkan masalahdengan kooperatif tipe TAI. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “ Apakah pembelajaranberdasarkan masalah dan kooperatif tipe TAI dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswakelas X1 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru?. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).Bentuk penelitian ini adalah PTK kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X1 MAN 2 ModelPekanbaru berjumlah 32 orang (9 siswa laki-laki, 23 siswa perempuan). Hasil yang diperoleh dalampenelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah dan kooperatif tipe TAI dapatmeningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X1 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru pada materi pokokruang dimensi tiga.

Abstract

The low quality of education in Indonesia, has been widely recognized by variousparties, especially by education observers. Based on the necessary effort to improve the quality ofeducation, one to carry out the study based on analysis of problems in the field. This study aims toobtain a clear picture of (a) to identify the competency standard / basic competencies that have notmastered high school students in Bengkalis discussion on any subject Maths subjects tested on the UN,(b) identify the factors that cause students not master the competency standard / basic competencies, (c)design and develop a model for solving the problem. Study sample was held at SMAN SMAN 1Bengkalis and High Cliff. The focus of research is the management system, teachers, educationalfacilities, which refers to the national standards of education and culture. Data were collected throughclassroom observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. This research resulted inalternative solutions to problems (1) Training for teachers of mathematics-based subjects MGMP. (2)Guidance and stabilization of materials for teachers of educational background do not fit. (3) Trainingfor school management and administrative staff. All activities ready to be implemented in concreteterms through community service activities through cooperation with the Department of HigherEducation D2PM Bengkalis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMPN 23 Pekanbaru dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Aktivitas dan data hasil pembelajaran didapat dari data aktivitas dengan menggunakan lembaran observasi dan ulangan harian.  Data yang telah di kumpulkan nilainya dianalisa secara statistik. Hasil dari pembelajaran pada siklus pertama ditemukan peserta didik yang mencapai nilai KKM pada siklus I sebanyak 15 orang dengan persentase ketercapaian KKM 37,5% dan pada siklus kedua jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 18 orang dengan persentase ketercapaian KKM 45%, ini bertambah dari sebelumnya dengan jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 9 orang dengan persentasi 22,5%. Penghargaan yang diterima pada siklus pertama adalah  dua kelompok mendapat penghargaan baik, tujuh kelompok mendapat  penghargaan hebat dan satu kelompok mendapat penghargaan super, sedangkan pada siklus kedua lima kelompok mendapat penghargaan hebat dan lima kelompok mendapat penghargaan super. Kesimpulan dari pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII b SMPN 23 Pekanbaru semester genap tahun pelajaran 2011/2012 pada materi pokok Lingkaran.

Abstract

Abstract: This research isa classaction research to make learningprocess be better and to improve mathematic learning result by applying Cooperative LearningTalking Stick Model. The subjects werestudents of class XTKR1SMKTelkomPekanbaruinthe second semester ofthe academic year2013/2014, whichamounted to22people and all aremenwithheterogeneouscapabilities. This studyconsistedoftwocycles, eachcycleconsistingoffourphases, namelyplanning, action ,observationandreflection. Eachend of the cyclecarried outdaily tests. Data collected throughobservationandtestsin the form ofdaily tests. Data was analyzed usingdescriptivestatisticalanalysis. Resultsof researchonthe observationsheetshows theactivityof teachers and studentshave beenperforming wellafterdoingthe action. Based on theobservations of researchersduringthe learningprocessinclassXTKR1SMKTelkomPekanbaru, seenmost studentsexcitedandparticipatorylearning processcarried out, such asin response toapperception, presented the results offocus group discussions, responding to the presentation, the implementation of theTalking Stick, deliveringconclusion, doLKSandanswer thegroup of theiractivitieswith friends. Students aretrying to completethe activitiesinLKSwell. Actionis successfulifthe number of studentswhoachievea score ofKKMonthe basis ofincreasingthedaily testsI andIIdaily tests. The percentage ofstudentswhoachievea score ofKKMonbasic, daily testI (first cycle), daily testII(second cycle) respectivelyare13.6%, 45.5%, and63.6%. Penilitianresultsshowed thatthe application ofcooperative learning modelTalking Stickcanimprovethe learningprocessandimprove learning outcomesmathclass XTKR1SMKTelkomPekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : This research caused by the low ability of mathematical problems solving student in junior high school 13 Pekanbaru. Purpose of this research are 1) to determine the significance of the improvement of mathematical problems solving ability (MPSA) of grade VII SMPN 13 Pekanbaru students through contextual approach (CA) and through conventional learning (CL); and (2) to determine the difference of MPSA increase of grade VII students of SMPN 13 Pekanbaru which is learned through CA and through CL. The research method was experimental study with pretest and posttest control group design. The population of this study was all of the students from grade junior high school 13 Pekanbaru. The subject was divided into two groups, 7th-5 as experiment group and 7th-8 as control group. The research instruments was essay questions MPSA. Data are analyzed by using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Levene test, t-test, and Mann Whitney U tes. The result showned that (1) there was significance of improvement of MPSA of students through CA, (2) there was significance of improvement of MPSA of students who learned through CL, and (3) improvement of MPSA of students who are taught through CA is higher than students who are learned through CL. The improvement of students' mathematical problem solving skills through CA is categorized high while CL is categorized medium.Key Words : Improvement of Mathematical Problems Solving Ability, Contextual Approach

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes class V learners of SD Negeri 65 Petani by applying cooperative learning model STAD . The subjects were learners in class V which consisted of 12 women and 12 men with heterogeneous academic ability. This research is a class act with two cycles . Each cycle has four stage : planning , implementation , observation and reflection . Data collection instrument in this study is the observation sheet activities teachers and learners , as well as the achievement test. Sheets were analyzed qualitatively descriptive narrative, while the achievement test were analyzed by descriptive statistical study by analyzing the development of the individual and group values ​​, KKM achievement analysis , and analysis of the success of the action. Results of research on the observation sheet shows the activity of teachers and learners have done well and according to plan after the action . Improvements in the learning process of students and increase the number of learners who achieve KKM at the end of each cycle UH compared to the number of learners who achieve a score of KKM on base score. At the base score only 25% of learners who reach KKM , the UH I increased to 62.5% and the UH II also increased to 79.2% . The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning model STAD can improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes class V learners of SD Negeri 65 Petani in the second semester of the academic year 2013/2014 . Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of daily test scores obtained from mathematics subject teachers on mathematics induction material for  semester 2019/2020 shows that 14 out of 25 students in class XI MIA 2 Babussalam Pekanbaru High School scored under KKM  which is 70 and the learning process is still dominated by teachers. The learning process is seen as one of the main factors influencing learning outcome so this research aims to improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning model. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The research instruments used are mathematical learning instruments (Syllabus, Lesson Plans, and Activity Sheets) and data collecting instruments (Observation Sheets and Students Mathematic Tests). Data collection techniques in this research used are observation techniques and test techniques. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. Based on the analysis of students and teacher activities after implementation of the Problem Based Learning model, it can be concluded that there is an improvement of learning process. In quantitative analysis, On knowledge competence the percentage of students who can reach KKM on a basic score of 11 students or 44% increased to 15 students or 60% in Cycle I and increased to 17 students or 68% in Cycle II. On skill competence, the percentage of students who can reach KKM on a cycle I score of 12 students or 48% increased to17 students or 68% in Cycle II. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning process and the students’ mathematics learning outcomes in class of XI MIA 2 SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru.  Key  Words:   Mathematics Learning Achievement, Problem Based Learning Model, Classroom Action Researc

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through of The Implementation of Quick On The Draw Activity In STAD Type Cooperative Learning. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIII.6 in the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year with the subject of as many as 34 students, consist of 13 boys and 21 girls. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan, Worksheet and Questions Card. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test 2. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic score, daily test 1 and daily test 2 are respectively 8 person (23,52%), 13 person (38,23%) and 19 person (55,88%). Results of this research indicates that application of the Quick on the Draw Aktivity in Cooperative Learning of STAD can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class VIII.6 MTsN Ujung Tanjung in the first semester academic years 2016/2017 at Basic Competencies 1.3 understanding the concept of relation and functions , 1.4  determining the value of the function and 1.5 sketching graphs simple algebra functions on the coordinate system.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to improve the learning process and the result of learning mathematics by applying Discovery Learning model. Subjects in this research were students of class VIIIA SMP Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto in the second semester 2018/2019 academic year consisting of 12 male students and 14 female students. The research instruments used are mathematical learning instruments (syllabus, Lesson Plans and Student Worksheet) and data collection instruments (observation sheets and learning outcomes test sheets). The observation sheet is used to obtain data on teacher and student activities during the learning process, while the mathematics learning outcomes test is used to obtain learning outcomes data. Based on the analysis of the observation sheet, it was found that the implementation of the learning process from cycle I to cycle II had improved. The results of learning mathematics of KBM students' knowledge indicators increased from a base score of 50% (13 students) to 57,69% (15 students) in the first cycle and increased to 69,23% (18 students) in the second cycle. The results of the KBM students' mathematics learning skills indicators experienced an increase from the base score of 57,69% (15 students), increasing to 69,23% (18 students) in the first cycle and increasing to 76,92% (20 students) in the second cycle. With these results it can be concluded that in learning there is an improvement in the learning process and improvement in the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIIIA SMP Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto in the second semester 2018/2019 academic year through the application of the Discovery Learning model in the subject matter of Pola Bilangan.Keywords : Students’ Math Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Clasroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model. This research is Classroom Action Research conducted in class VII SMP 1 Singingi Kelas Jauh Kebun Lado in the even semester of the academic year 2018/2019. The subject of this research consist of 20 students. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle have four stages. The research instrument consists of learning materials and instruments for collecting data. Learning materials used in this research are the syllabus, Lesson Plan and Activity Sheets. The instruments of data collection and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets is analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students mathematic tests is analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive show an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria of knowledge increase from basic score to first test and second test. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (35%) to the first test (65%) to the second test (85%). For the skills of the first test (60%) to the second test (75%). From these data it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning can increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VII SMP 1 Singingi Kelas Jauh Kebun Lado in academic years 2018/2019 .Key Words: Problem Based Learning model, Mathematics Learning Outcomes
