Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the students math ability class VIIIA of SMPN 1 Benai under the Mastery Minimum Criteria with a percentage of 43,5%,of the Basic Competence 1.2 outlines the algebra into the factors and the learning process still teacher center. The research conducted was the Classroom Action Research. The aims of this research is to improve the learning process and results on the students learning mathematic by implementing cooperative learning model structural approach of Think Pair Square. There were 23 students in the class consisting 15 boys and 8 girls as the participant of this research. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative desciptive. The qualitative desciptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 10 person (43,5%), 12 person (52,2%) and 27 person (73,9%). Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model structural approach of Think Pair Square can improve the learning process and result on the students’ achievement of learning Mathematic in grade VIIIA of SMPN 1 Benai in the first semester academic years 2016/201, of the basic competence 1.3 Understanding relations and functions. 1.4 Determine the value of functions, and 1.5 Sketching graph of simple algebraic function on the Cartesian coordinate plane.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and improve learning achievement by applying the mathematical inquiry learning model on students of class VIIA SMPIT Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru. The subjects were 20 students of class VIIA SMPIT Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru Academic Year 2015/2016, with heterogeneous acaemic ability levels. This study consists of two cycles, in which each consists of four phases: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. At the end of each cycle, a daily test is given to the students. Data of the research are collected trough observation and the daily tests. An action is categorized to be successful if there is improvement in learning and the number of students who achieve the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) increases in the daily est I and test II. The research findings reveal that the activities of teachers and students run well as they were planned. Most students participate in the learning process actively, such as by discusing in determining hypotheses and collecting data, presenting the Student Worksheet (LKS), responding to their classmates’ presentation and concluding lessons. Therefore, it can be said that there is improvement in the learning process of each meeting. Besides the number of students who achieves KKM on a base score is 65% on daily test I (first cycle) and 75% on daily test II (second cycle) is 80%. The percentage achievement of KKM also shows an increase from before to after the action taken so that it can be concluded that the learning achievement of te student s also increases. The result of this study show that learning by the inquiry model can improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning achievement of students of class VIIA SMPIT Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru of the second semester of 2015/2016,Key Words: Mathematical Learning Achievement, The Inquiry Learning Model, Class Room Action Research

Abstract

Abstract:This classroom action research is aimed at improving learning process and improving mathematics learning outcomes by implementing Cooperative Learning  with Structural  Think Pair Square Approach. The research subjects are 24 heterogenous academic ability level students of the VIIC class of Islamic Junior High School Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru in academic year of 2015/2016. The research consisted of two cycles in which each cycle consisted of four phases, i.e; namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. By the end of a cycle, daily test was held. The data was collected by means of observation and daily test. The action success indicators were if there is learning process improvement and the increasing number of students passing Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC) in daily test I and daily test II. The research shows that teachers and students’ activities were conducted well as planned. Most of the students participated actively in the learning process e.g. discussing, presenting student’s worksheet, responding to classmate’s presentation, and drawing the lesson conclusion. Additionally, the students afforded to answer the written test given by teacher well. Therefore, it can be said that improvement of learning process took place in every meeting. Furthermore, the number of students passing the MCC on base score, daily test I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) were respectively 9 students (35%), 10 students (41,67%), dan 17 students (70,83%). The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students’ learning outcomes also increase. Finally, the research also shows that  cooperative learning with structural  Think Pair Square  approach can improve mathematic learning process and learning outcomes of VIIC class students at Islamic Junior High School Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and increase student’smathematical achievement through implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIII2 SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The subject of this research consist of 40 students, there are 29 girls and 11 boys. The research instrument consists of learning materials and instruments for collecting data. Learning materials used in this research are the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Activity Sheets. Instrument data collectors used in this research are observation sheet and mathematical achievement test. Application of PBL model also gives positive impact on the implementation of learning process that students become more active in learning activities so that learning is not centered on the teacher. Students are also trained to build their own knowledge and can find their own mathematical concepts through the presentation of problems close to the student's real life. The percentage of students which ispass Minimum Mastery Crieria (MMC) increase from 45% to 65% at the first test and to 80% at the second test. This research concludes that the implementation of PBL improved the learning process and the student’s mathematical achievement atclass VIII2 SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.Key Words: Classroom Action Research, Problem Based Learning models, Learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of Think-Talk-Write strategy in Cooperative Learning. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VII1SMP Negeri 1 Kubu in the second semester of the 2016/2017 academic year with the subject of as many as 38 students. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 13 person (34,2%), 17 person (44,7%) and 30 person (78,9%). Results of this research indicates that the implementation of Think-Talk-Write strategy in Cooperative Learningcan improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class VII1SMP Negeri 1 Kubuin the second semester academic years 2016/2017.Key Words : Think-Talk-Write strategy, Cooperative Learning, Learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted is to produce math learning media field line and point (TGB) on the material of cuboid and cube for mild intellectual disability 8th in SMPLB Pekanbaru. The  developed media learning are TGB method and manual book.  The research methods Borg and Gall development models with ten stages: (1) Potential and problems; (2) Collect information; (3) Product design; (4) Design validation: (5) design revisions; (6) Product testing; (7) Product revisions; (8) Usage testing; (9) Product revisions; and (10) mass production. This research is conducted until product testing stage, due to the Covid-19 pandemic it is hard to continue the research from 7th to 10th stages. Apparantly it needs wider coverage and more sufficient term on making this research works fully at times like this. The results of the data validation analysis show the average assessment for the learning media and the manual book is 2.77 with valid criteria. The results of the analysis of the practical data were collected from the results of the students response to the media, with average percentage of 100%. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion can be concluded that the mathematics learning media developed has fulfilled valid criteria that is worthy to be used and practical that is easy to use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya perangkat pembelajaran matematika sebagai sarana penunjang pembelajaran pada Kurikulum 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Yaitu,  silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada materi bentuk aljabar kelas VII SMP/MTs. Produk dikembangkan melalui 3 tahapan model pengembangan 4-D. Perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh tiga orang validator dan direvisi sesuai saran dari validator. LKPD yang telah valid kemudian diujicobakan pada kelompok kecil. Rata-rata.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelejaran berbasis PBL valid dan praktis. Perlu penelitian lanjutan untuk mengukur tingkat efektifitas perangkat pembelajaran untuk materi bentuk aljabar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis Problem Based Learning  yang valid dan praktis untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas IX SMP/MTs pada materi transformasi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan), dan Disseminate (penyebaran). Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh validator. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data validasi disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan sudah valid dengan skor rata-rata untuk validasi silabus 3,79 dengan kategori sangat valid, validasi RPP 3,74 dengan kategori sangat valid dan validasi LAS 3,75 dengan kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil validasi tersebut maka perangkat pembelajaran matematika sudah dapat diujicobakan. Kemudian perangkat pembelajaran diujicobakan pada 8 orang siswa kelas IX MTs Negeri 3 Inuman dengan hasil uji coba yang diperoleh yaitu perangkat pembelajaran matematika memenuhi syarat praktis dengan skor rata-rata dari angket respon siswa terhadap LAS adalah 3,74 kategori sangat praktis. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran matematika, model problem based learning, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, transformasi, model pengembangan 4-D

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-B SMP PGRI Pekanbaru semester genap tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang terdiri dari 16 orang siswa laki-laki dan 14 orang siswa perempuan. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari perangkat pembelajaran dan instrumen pengumpul data. Perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah Silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Lembar Aktivitas Siswa (LAS). Instrumen pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan dan tes hasil belajar matematika. Data dari lembar pengamatan dan data dari tes hasil belajar matematika dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran mengalami perbaikan dari siklus I ke siklus II, terlihat dari pencapaian  hasil belajar matematika siswa pada aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Data dari tes hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa  persentase siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) meningkat dari 10 siswa (33,33%) ke 16 siswa (53,33%)  pada siklus I dan 20 siswa (66,67%) pada siklus II. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII-B SMP PGRI Pekanbaru  tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 pada materi Teorema Phytagoras.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berupa silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Lembar Aktivitas Siswa (LAS) berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang memenuhi syarat valid dan praktis pada materi perbandingan kelas VII. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, desseminate). Instrumen penelitian utama meliputi lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran dan lembar angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata silabus 3,55, RPP 3,57, dan LAS 3,37. Selain itu, LAS memiiki kategori sangat praktis dengan nilai rata-rata 3,45.
