Abstract

A reservoir is a vessel or storage container used to store pressure resulting from the evaporation of a liquid. In its use, the Reservoir's constituent material must be good to produce maximum results. This experimental research aims to study the influence of the reservoir material types, such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, on the air pressure produced by each material[R1] . The experiment was conducted by aluminium, steel, and stainless steel material testing. The results showed that aluminum, steel, and stainless steel produce a pressure of 2.00 bar, 2.50 bar, 1.50 bar, respectively.. The comparison of results shows that the type of reservoir material will affect the final result of reservoir pressure.

Abstract

The stainless steel material reservoir tube can produce combustion steam from the heating furnace. The research objective was to determine the effect of variations in the type of liquid and air pressure efficiently used in the reservoir tube. The type of research used is pure experimental research. The medium used is mineral water, 10%, 20%, and 30% brine, and the Manufacturer's coolant is heated using a heating furnace at 110° C for 42 minutes and measured by a pressure gauge. The results of the tests carried out have the effect of differences in mineral water 1.50 bar or 1.48 atmosphere, 10% brine 1.50 bar or 1.48 atmosphere, 20% brine 2.40 bar or 2.36 atmosphere, 30% brine 3, 50bar or 3.45 atmospheres, factory coolant 1.75bar or 1.72 atmospheres. 30% salt water is more efficient and suitable for the stainless steel material reservoir heating process in producing steam under pressure, which is used in knife tools.

Abstract

Inactivity is a significant challenge that impacts academic performance, retention rates, and the operational effectiveness of higher education institutions. Royal University faces an urgent need to identify students at risk of becoming inactive early, so that academic interventions can be carried out appropriately and effectively. This study aims to develop a classification model for student inactivity status (Active or Passive) using a machine learning approach, by testing three main algorithms: Decision Tree (DT), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Random Forest (RF). The dataset used consists of 642 student entries, including academic information such as Grade Point Average (GPA), total credits taken, attendance percentage, number of courses per semester, and semester level. The methodology steps include data cleaning and transformation, splitting the dataset into 80% training data and 20% testing data using a random sampling method ( train_test_split with random_state = 42), model training, and performance evaluation using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The experimental results show that DT and SVM achieve the highest accuracy of 98.44%, with maximum precision in predicting active students, while RF excels in recall (0.96), making it more effective in detecting active students at risk of being missed. Feature importance analysis reveals that GPA and attendance are the most determining factors in predicting student active status, while the number of courses, credits taken, and semester level have a lower additional influence. The primary contribution of this research is the provision of an accurate and practically applicable classification model, enabling universities to conduct automated student monitoring, proactive academic interventions, and data-driven decision-making. Implementing this model in academic information systems can improve the effectiveness of advising programs, reduce the risk of student inactivity , and support efforts to improve retention and graduate quality. This research also emphasizes the importance of contextual features in improving prediction accuracy and provides insights that can be leveraged for the development of data-driven academic strategies.

Abstract

Abstract: The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology presents both challenges and opportunities for the general public, particularly in the creative economy sector. This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy and creative competency of the community at LKP Az Zikra through training on creating digital lookbooks using AI-based platforms. The method employed involves direct training with a "learning by doing" approach, encompassing introduction to generative AI, prompt engineering techniques, and practical creation of digital fashion catalogs. The activity focuses on transferring skills in utilizing tools such as AI image generators to produce professional visual assets without high costs. The results indicate a significant increase in participants' ability to operate AI technology for product visualization purposes. Participants successfully produced digital lookbooks that meet industry standards in terms of aesthetics and resolution. This capability proves that AI technology democratization can be effectively achieved through structured non-formal education, providing economic value added for community business promotion.            Keywords: artificial intelligence; digital lookbook; community empowerment; creative economy; vocational training  Abstrak: Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) menghadirkan tantangan sekaligus peluang bagi masyarakat umum, khususnya dalam sektor ekonomi kreatif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan kompetensi kreatif masyarakat di LKP Az Zikra melalui pelatihan pembuatan digital lookbook berbasis platform AI. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan langsung dengan pendekatan learning by doing yang mencakup pengenalan generative AI, teknik prompt engineering, dan praktik pembuatan katalog mode digital. Fokus utama kegiatan adalah transfer keterampilan penggunaan perangkat lunak penghasil gambar otomatis untuk menghasilkan aset visual profesional tanpa biaya tinggi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan peserta dalam mengoperasikan teknologi AI untuk keperluan visualisasi produk. Peserta berhasil menghasilkan luaran berupa digital lookbook yang memenuhi standar estetika industri dan resolusi gambar. Kemampuan ini membuktikan bahwa demokratisasi teknologi AI dapat dilakukan efektif melalui pendidikan non-formal yang terstruktur serta memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi bagi promosi usaha masyarakat. Kata kunci: kecerdasan buatan; digital lookbook; pemberdayaan masyarakat; ekonomi kreatif; pelatihan vokasi

Abstract

Abstract: Marketing digitalization poses a primary challenge for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in rural areas with limited technological literacy. The partner for this community service is Rengginang Bg Ar, a home industry in Batu Bara Regency experiencing revenue stagnation due to conventional marketing patterns and minimal digital knowledge for market expansion. This activity aims to empower the partner through intensive mentoring on business transformation and the application of appropriate technology in the form of an E-Commerce website. The implementation method consists of three chronological stages: socialization of digital urgency, installation of a web-based sales information system, and training on system operation and online order management. The results indicate an increase in the partner's understanding of digital marketing to 90%, compared to the initial condition of only 20%. The partner is now able to manage the online store independently, resulting in the opening of new market access outside the sub-district area and a significant increase in product sales potential. The implementation of a digital market platform proved to be an effective solution for resolving limited market reach and improving the partner's business competence.            Keywords: digitalization; e-commerce; marketing; UMKM; rengginang  Abstrak: Digitalisasi pemasaran menjadi tantangan utama bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) pedesaan yang memiliki keterbatasan literasi teknologi. Mitra pengabdian ini adalah Rengginang Bg Ar, industri rumahan di Kabupaten Batu Bara yang mengalami stagnasi omzet akibat pola pemasaran konvensional dan minimnya pengetahuan digital untuk perluasan pasar. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberdayakan mitra melalui pendampingan intensif transformasi bisnis dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna berupa website E-Commerce. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahapan kronologis: sosialisasi urgensi digital, instalasi sistem informasi penjualan berbasis web, serta pelatihan operasional sistem dan manajemen pesanan daring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mitra terkait pemasaran digital sebesar 90% dari kondisi awal yang hanya 20%. Mitra kini mampu mengelola toko daring secara mandiri, yang berdampak pada terbukanya akses pasar baru di luar wilayah kecamatan serta peningkatan potensi penjualan produk secara signifikan. Implementasi platform pasar digital terbukti menjadi solusi efektif untuk memecahkan masalah keterbatasan jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan kompetensi bisnis mitra. Kata kunci: digitalisasi; e-commerce; pemasaran; UMKM; rengginang

Abstract

Permasalahan gangguan tidur pada remaja semakin meningkat, termasuk di lingkungan pendidikan seperti SMK Paskita Global. Berdasarkan observasi, banyak siswa mengalami penurunan konsentrasi, kelelahan, serta prestasi akademik yang menurun akibat pola tidur yang tidak teratur. Penanganan yang dilakukan selama ini masih bersifat manual dan memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama, serta belum mampu memberikan hasil yang akurat dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pakar berbasis desktop dengan metode Forward chaining guna mendiagnosa gangguan tidur pada siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Paskita Global dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Selain itu, sebanyak 125 responden siswa turut dilibatkan dalam proses pengujian sistem untuk memastikan validitas hasil diagnosa dan efektivitas sistem. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengidentifikasi jenis gangguan tidur berdasarkan gejala yang dialami siswa,gangguan tidur seperti insomnia, sleep apnea, sleep deprivation, delayed sleep phase syndrome, restless legs syndrome, bruxism, parasomnia, atau gangguan hypersomnia, serta memberikan hasil diagnosa yang terstruktur dan jelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini membantu guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mendeteksi gangguan tidur secara lebih cepat dan efektif dibandingkan metode tradisional. Kesimpulannya, sistem pakar ini menjadi alat bantu alternatif yang berguna untuk deteksi dini dan penanganan gangguan tidur.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat telah menjadikan handphone sebagai perangkat yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari kita, tidak hanya sebagai alat komunikasi, tetapi juga sebagai alat kerja, hiburan, dan penyebaran informasi. Namun, kompleksitas fitur dan sistem yang semakin meningkat juga menyebabkan tingginya potensi kerusakan pada handphone, baik dari sisi perangkat keras maupun perangkat lunak. Banyak pengguna yang kesulitan dalam mendiagnosis kerusakan yang terjadi pada handphone mereka, sehingga pengguna langsung membawa handphone ke pusat layanan di P3X CELL tanpa mengetahui akar permasalahannya. Hal ini berdampak pada waktu tunggu yang lama serta biaya yang cukup tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pakar berbasis web yang mampu mendiagnosis kerusakan pada handphone secara otomatis menggunakan metode forward chaining. Metode ini bekerja dengan memanfaatkan data awal berupa gejala yang dilaporkan oleh pengguna, kemudian meneusuri aturan-aturan dalam basis pengetahuan untuk menarik kesimpulan diagnosis. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi awal yang cepat dan akurat, baik bagi pengguna awam maupun teknisi, serta mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap diagnosis manual yang memakan waktu. Selain itu, sistem ini juga menjadi kontribusi dalam pengembangan penerapan metode forward chaining pada perangkat elektronik.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level plays a strategic role in shaping students’ religious character and noble morals, and its success is determined not only by mastery of religious content but also strongly influenced by the classroom climate created throughout the learning process. This study aimed to describe the classroom climate conditions in PAI learning, the teachers’ efforts and strategies in developing a positive classroom climate, and the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting the formation of a positive classroom climate in PAI learning at MI Ahmad Maryam Surakarta. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, involving PAI teachers and students as participants; data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the classroom climate in PAI learning tended to be conducive and religious, as reflected in humanistic interactions between teachers and students, a comfortable learning atmosphere, and the cultivation of religious values through role modelling and habituation. Teachers’ efforts and strategies to build a positive classroom climate were realized through classroom management grounded in Islamic values, the use of varied and participatory teaching methods, and the implementation of positive discipline. Supporting factors included teachers’ competence and personality, support from the madrasah environment, and parental involvement, while inhibiting factors comprised differences in students’ characteristics, limited facilities and infrastructure, and the influence of the social environment outside the madrasah. This study concludes that developing a positive classroom climate is an ongoing process that requires synergy among teachers, the madrasah, and families to improve the quality of PAI learning and strengthen students’ religious character formation.

Abstract

Religious conversion is a complex and multidimensional socio-religious phenomenon because it involves changes in belief, religious identity, and value orientation in an individual’s life, which, in a plural society, is understood not only as a theological issue but is also closely related to psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual aspects. This study aimed to describe the definition and meaning of religious conversion, examine the processes experienced by individuals in undergoing religious conversion, identify the factors that influence it, and analyze Islamic perspectives on this phenomenon. The method used was a literature review by examining various scholarly works, expert opinions, and normative Islamic sources in the form of the Qur’an and hadiths. The findings show that religious conversion generally unfolds through stages of awareness, meaning-seeking, and decision-making, which are influenced by individuals’ psychological conditions, social environment, culture, and spiritual experiences. From an Islamic perspective, religious conversion is viewed as a fundamental matter of aqidah, in which freedom of religion is acknowledged, but faith and steadfastness in Islam are strongly emphasized. Therefore, the phenomenon of religious conversion needs to be understood comprehensively and proportionally so as not to generate social conflict and to ensure that religious and humanitarian values are respected.

Abstract

Hydrocracker reliability has a direct effect on refinery margin, product availability, and process safety. This paper presents an industrial case study on the development and implementation of an online leak sealing (OLS) innovation for a leaking hexagonal plug in the fresh feed reactor effluent air cooler (REAC) 211 E-2D at the Hydrocracker Unit (HCU) of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga RU II Dumai. During hydrocracker recovery in April 2023, a leak was detected at plug tube No. 19 Bank D under hydrocarbon service containing 85-90% hydrogen, at approximately 170 kg/cm2 and 150 C. Conventional hot bolting did not stop the leak and plant procedures indicated that shutdown would normally be required. To prevent unscheduled shutdown, a high-pressure double-C clamp combined with OLS was designed, stress-checked, fabricated, and installed onstream. The new design increased clamp pressure capability from the 34 kg/cm2 reference design to 250 kg/cm2 and could accommodate multiple leak points. Post-installation monitoring showed 0% LEL around the leak area, the unit operated normally for more than five months, and a 13-day shutdown was avoided. Operational records indicated margin protection of IDR 1.9 billion and additional protected value from valuable products and HVGO lifting opportunities. The case demonstrates that a properly engineered OLS system can be a practical reliability and safety solution for hydroprocessing air coolers with hexagonal plug leakage.
