Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate instructional videos for teaching tarkib (Arabic syntax) to eighth-grade students at Islamic junior high schools. The research was motivated by the limited use of interactive audio-visual media and the dominance of traditional teaching methods, which often make abstract grammatical concepts difficult to understand and decrease students’ motivation. The developed videos were designed as a solution to present complex syntax lessons visually and auditorily through the CapCut application. The study adopted a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research stages included needs analysis, instructional design, product development, expert validation, and student testing. Data were collected from material and media experts as well as student response questionnaires. The results indicated that the instructional videos achieved a validity score of 86% from the material expert and 91.5% from the media expert, both in the “excellent” category. In addition, the students’ response reached 78%, showing strong engagement and positive perception. Overall, the developed CapCut-based videos proved to be valid, practical, and effective for enhancing students’ understanding and interest in learning tarkib. The study contributes to integrating digital media into Arabic grammar instruction and provides a model adaptable for Islamic educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Bingo media based on Augmented Reality (AR) in teaching Arabic vocabulary to eighth-grade students at Ruhama Islamic Junior High School. The research was motivated by students’ low mastery of vocabulary due to the dominance of traditional, less interactive teaching methods. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving two groups: an experimental group taught using AR-based Bingo and a control group taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests and analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, the Mann–Whitney U test, and the N-Gain formula to measure learning improvement. The findings revealed a statistically significant difference between the two groups, with the experimental group achieving a higher post-test mean score (85.4) compared to the control group (36.1). The N-Gain average reached 81.57%, categorized as high effectiveness. These results demonstrate that AR-based Bingo is highly effective in enhancing students’ vocabulary acquisition, motivation, and active participation, while also promoting a more engaging and meaningful Arabic learning experience.

Abstract

Agama merupakan sumber nilai religius yang erat kaitannya dengan pembentukan jiwa seseorang. Untuk mewujudkan manusia yang agamis, diperlukan pendidikan terarah yang menanamkan tauhid dan akidah sebagai fondasi sebelum peserta didik mengenal berbagai disiplin ilmu lainnya. Para guru di sekolah dasar, baik negeri maupun Islam terpadu, dituntut menciptakan budaya positif guna membentuk kepribadian peserta didik yang beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui proses implementasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SDN Tegal Alur 01 Pagi dan SDIT Al Maka Kali Deres. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta analisis data secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PAI di kedua sekolah berjalan dengan baik dan efektif. Pembiasaan nilai-nilai islami diterapkan dalam kegiatan keseharian, seperti mengucapkan salam, berjabat tangan, berbicara santun, bersikap sopan, dan saling menghormati antar sesama. Selain itu, program keagamaan dalam kurikulum khusus turut dijalankan, meliputi tadarus, shalat dhuha berjamaah, shalat dhuhur berjamaah, serta keteladanan dan kedisiplinan dari seluruh warga sekolah. Pembelajaran PAI dilaksanakan secara sistematis menggunakan kurikulum merdeka, berpusat pada peserta didik, dan dimaksimalkan pada aspek materi konseptual disertai ilustrasi serta contoh-contoh kontekstual. Pengamalan nilai-nilai agama dinilai melalui penilaian sikap dan kontrol perkembangan sikap secara berkelanjutan, sehingga terbentuk generasi penerus bangsa yang berkarakter islami.
