Abstract

Abstract.The purpose of this research is to develop learning management on Schoologybasedbadminton courses. The results are expected to know the validity,effectiveness, and response of students to the management of the learning. Theresearch was conducted in the FKIP UMS Sports Education Study Program. Thesubject of the study is a seventh-semester student in 2020. Research methods used byADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The resultsshowed that the study of material experts obtained a score of 44 with a percentageof 81.43% with a very valid category. Media experts with a score of 85 with apercentage of 79% are included in the Valid criteria. Effectiveness of learningmanagement of 1.12 including Strong Effect. Students' responses to learningmanagement used scored an average of 80, 96%. This research concludes that thedevelopment of schoology-based learning management can be applied in badmintonlearning in universities.Keywords: management development, Schoology, badminton.

Abstract

Background: Academic performance in this context is conceptualized holistically, encompassing the integration of cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and physical achievements. Grounded in Self-Determination Theory and Social Cognitive Theory, the study posits that physical activity interest and social skills serve as predictors of both mental toughness and academic outcomes. Objectives: This study examines the mediating role of mental toughness in the relationship between physical activity interest, social skills, and academic performance among university students enrolled in physical education programs. Methods: A quantitative approach was employed, involving the administration of structured questionnaires to 235 active students. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with a Partial Least Squares approach to assess construct validity and the relationships among variables. Results: The results reveal that interest in physical activity and social skills has a significant influence on both mental toughness and academic performance. However, mental toughness did not serve as a substantial mediator within the proposed model. Conclusions: These findings underscore the critical direct roles of affective and social factors in predicting academic success in physical education contexts. Theoretically, this study clarifies the functional position of mental toughness, while practically, it promotes the development of instructional strategies that enhance intrinsic motivation and collaborative skills within physical education curricula.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Karang Taruna Joyotakan in enhancing members’ social awareness through community-based education programs. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results indicate that activities such as thematic discussions, skills training, and social actions successfully increased youths’ knowledge, empathy, sense of responsibility, and social engagement. This success was supported by active member participation and local partnership support. However, limited resources and members’ time dynamics remain challenges to the program’s sustainability. This study affirms that Karang Taruna can serve as a strategic agent in fostering social awareness among young generations, provided that programs are designed in a participatory manner and adapt to community.

Abstract

Model pembinaan berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan atlet rugby daerah menjadi fondasi strategis dalam membangun sistem sport development yang sistematis dan berorientasi jangka panjang. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan fokus pada dinamika sistem pembinaan rugby di Kabupaten Boyolali selama rentang waktu dua ribu tujuh belas hingga dua ribu dua puluh lima. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif terhadap aktivitas latihan dan kompetisi serta dokumentasi program kerja, arsip prestasi, dan distribusi atlet ke tingkat provinsi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya struktur latihan terperiodisasi, mekanisme identifikasi bakat yang konsisten, serta pola regenerasi atlet yang terintegrasi antara level junior dan senior. Capaian prestasi pada tingkat provinsi dan nasional disertai peningkatan jumlah atlet yang lolos ke tim Provinsi Jawa Tengah mengindikasikan efektivitas sistem pengembangan yang diterapkan. Tata kelola organisasi yang adaptif dan dukungan lingkungan sosial memperkuat stabilitas program pembinaan. Model berbasis proses dan konsistensi kelembagaan menjadi faktor determinan dalam menghasilkan prestasi yang berkelanjutan. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada penguatan kerangka konseptual sport development di tingkat kabupaten serta menawarkan model pembinaan yang berpotensi direplikasi pada cabang olahraga daerah lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah dinamika interaksi dan proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani pada siswa sekolah dasar di era digital. Perkembangan teknologi telah mengubah praktik pengajaran dan menciptakan peluang sekaligus tantangan pedagogis dalam pengembangan keterampilan motorik. Menggunakan desain studi kasus kualitatif, penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Al Islam 2 Jamsaren, Surakarta, dengan melibatkan 12 siswa kelas V yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumen, serta divalidasi melalui teknik triangulasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki persepsi positif terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani berbasis teknologi, terutama dalam memahami teknik gerak melalui video instruksional dan demonstrasi digital. Teknologi terbukti meningkatkan motivasi, memperjelas instruksi, serta mendorong kemandirian belajar melalui dokumentasi performa. Namun demikian, siswa menegaskan bahwa media digital tidak dapat sepenuhnya menggantikan demonstrasi langsung guru, umpan balik segera, dan interaksi fisik yang melekat pada pembelajaran jasmani. Hambatan teknis, distraksi digital, dan ketergantungan pada konektivitas juga muncul selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi teknologi memberi kontribusi signifikan ketika ditempatkan sebagai penunjang, bukan sebagai pengganti dalam pengajaran. Studi ini menegaskan perlunya model pedagogis seimbang yang mempertahankan pengalaman gerak autentik sambil memanfaatkan teknologi untuk visualisasi, umpan balik, dan perluasan akses belajar. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan panduan praktis bagi pendidik dan kontribusi konseptual bagi pengembangan kerangka pembelajaran jasmani hibrida di sekolah dasar.
