Abstract

The increasing trend of non-cash payments such as QRIS and transfers is driving more intensive use of mobile banking applications in daily life. This poses a challenge for mobile banking service providers to deliver the best service to their customers through a good user experience. This is necessary to maintain their existence in the hearts of their customers. This research aims to determine the user experience value in each m-BCA and BRImo application, as well as their comparative value using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. The analysis results conducted on 240 respondents with a minimum age of 19 and domiciled in Jabodetabek show that the user experience of BRImo is superior to m-BCA in all UEQ scales. BRImo achieves excellent benchmark scores in the attractive, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, and stimulation scales while obtaining a good evaluation in the novelty scale. Meanwhile, m-BCA obtains excellent benchmark scores in the perspicuity, efficiency, and dependability scales, good evaluation on the attractive scale, above average on the stimulation scale, and below average on the novelty scale.

Abstract

This research produced key findings related to the causes, handling, and preventive efforts of non-performing loans. The analysis revealed that the main causative factors are the debtors' inability to manage their finances and economic fluctuations. This inability is often caused by miscalculations or a sudden drop in income, such as a decline in business sales or job loss. Conversely, economic turmoil such as inflation, high interest rates, or recession also exacerbates the situation, making it difficult for debtors to meet payment obligations. Dealing with non-performing loans requires a layered approach that is customized, depending on the specific conditions of the debtor and creditor. One effective method is loan restructuring, which involves modifying the terms and conditions of the loan to make it more affordable for the debtor. In addition, asset seizure and liquidation is also a last resort to reduce losses for creditors. Enforcement of credit risk management through stricter evaluation of creditworthiness and utilization of advanced technology is also important to minimize the risk of future non-performing loans. For the prevention of non-performing loans, continuous financial education and good communication with debtors are essential first steps. Financial education programs can help individuals and businesses understand better financial management, while proactive communication between lenders and borrowers provides early warning of potential financial problems. In addition, the implementation of stricter credit policies and closer monitoring of creditor performance are also important steps in the prevention of non-performing loans before the problem becomes unmanageable. Overall, the handling and prevention of non-performing loans requires good coordination and a comprehensive approach from various relevant parties. Lenders need to develop more sophisticated procedures and tools for risk evaluation and management, while borrowers need to be adequately educated on financial management. With these collective efforts, the risk of non-performing loans can be minimized and financial stability at the micro and macro levels can be better ensured.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is a quantitative study with an explanatory approach, namely an approach that uses previous studies as the main basis for obtaining novelty and is developed in the research being conducted. The data used in this study are secondary data from various credible sources, namely the Central Statistics Agency from 2010 to 2024. The data were analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool. The result in this article show the two hypotheses proposed in this article, namely the Human Development Index variable can have a positive relationship direction and a significant influence on Economic Growth can be accepted and proven. This is because the P-Values are positive and below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.009. The reason for these results is that the Human Development Index which is influenced by Health and Education Levels can have a good, positive, and significant impact on Economic Growth. On this basis, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis in this article can be accepted. In the next section, the researcher also has another hypothesis, namely that the Population Size variable can moderate the influence of the Human Development Index variable on Economic Growth because of the same thing, namely the P-Values are positive and below the significance level of 0.05, which is 0.000 more significant than direct testing of 0.009. Thus, the first and second hypotheses in this article can be accepted. Keywords: Population Size, Human Development Index, Economic Growth

Abstract

Student entrepreneurial interest is very important to encourage economic growth through job creation. This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial skills and access to capital on entrepreneurial interest with entrepreneurship education as a mediating variable in Universitas Padjadjaran students. The research method used is quantitative with explanatory descriptive design. Data were obtained using a closed questionnaire distributed digitally through Google Form with a Likert scale to students, then analyzed using path analysis techniques to test the direct and indirect effects between variables. The results showed that entrepreneurial skills have a significant direct effect on entrepreneurial interest and entrepreneurship education. Entrepreneurship education is also proven to have a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. However, entrepreneurship skills have no significant effect indirectly through entrepreneurship education, while access to capital has no significant effect either directly or indirectly. This study highlights the importance of developing entrepreneurial skills and strengthening practice-based entrepreneurship education programs to increase students' interest in becoming entrepreneurs. Support in the form of relevant training is also recommended to enrich students' skills in starting and running a business.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of social media and entrepreneurship education on self-efficacy through entrepreneurial readiness among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Padjadjaran. In the current digital era, social media serves as an important means that not only provides information and inspiration but also allows students to build networks and share entrepreneurial experiences. This study demonstrates that positive interactions on social media can enhance students' self-efficacy, which is a key factor in preparing them to enter the business world. Furthermore, entrepreneurship education provides the knowledge and practical skills necessary to start a business, thereby increasing their entrepreneurial readiness. The research findings indicate that self-efficacy serves as a significant mediator in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial readiness. Students with high levels of self-efficacy tend to be more confident and proactive in pursuing business opportunities. Thus, the combination of effective social media usage and high-quality entrepreneurship education can create an environment that supports the development of entrepreneurial character among students. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating social media and entrepreneurship education into the curriculum to shape a generation of competent entrepreneurs ready to face future challenges.

Abstract

One of the factors contributing to Indonesia's low Global Digitalization Index score of 33.1 is the limited digitalization among UMKM, as reflected in the adoption of QRIS by these businesses. Although QRIS is perceived as useful, barriers such as perceived ease of use, perceived cost, and social influence from consumers and competitors significantly affect attitudes toward using and behavioural intentions to use QRIS. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the digitalization of UMKM through QRIS by a quantitative causal approach and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research utilised a purposive sampling technique, gathering data from 70 culinary business respondents in Bandung City. The findings indicate that social influence and perceived ease of use have a significant and positive influence on attitudes toward using QRIS, while perceived cost has a significant negative effect, and perceived usefulness shows no significant effect. Additionally, perceived ease of use and attitudes toward using QRIS significantly and positively influence behavioural intention to use it, whereas perceived cost, social influence, and perceived usefulness do not. Mediation analysis reveals varying effects: indirect-only mediation for perceived cost and social influence, no-effect non-mediation for perceived usefulness, and complementary mediation for perceived ease of use

Abstract

The global phenomenon of the Korean wave, including its influence in Indonesia, has encouraged many businesses in Indonesia to employ Korean brand ambassadors as part of their marketing strategies, both for conventional and digital products. Previous studies, particularly those related to digital products, have shown negative responses, which motivated the author to conduct this research. This study focuses on three objects, namely Bukalapak, Ruangguru, and SimInvest, with the aim of evaluating and comparing the effectiveness of using Korean brand ambassadors for each application. The research employs a qualitative method with a survey approach to gather rich and diverse responses. The sampling technique used is quota sampling, with 30 participants for each research object. The results indicate that the use of Korean brand ambassadors is considered effective, although there are differences in effectiveness across several indicators, such as search and action.

Abstract

Sales of processed coffee products in Indonesia are increasing along with the growth of coffee outlets and national consumption. Starbucks is trying to expand its services through a mobile application, but the usability of the application is still not optimal with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) that have not satisfied users. Therefore, this study aims to improve usability through redesign using the user-centered design (UCD) method, which is based on constraints and feedback identified from users through initial surveys and interviews. The obstacles faced by users include unattractive appearance, poorly understood flow, and features that are difficult to find. The results of the redesign were compared with the current application design based on usability testing scores, average system usability scale (SUS) scores, and user satisfaction. The results of the usability testing and SUS scale showed a significant improvement from 46 to 69 and 55 to 89, indicating that the redesign has successfully improved the usability of the Starbucks Indonesia mobile application in accordance with the research objectives.
