Abstract

The objectives to be achieved through this research are: reviewing, analyzing and concluding planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling systems in the PBVSI management of Tegal Regency. This research is qualitative research with descriptive analysis approach, while the data collection method used by researchers is observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusions of this study are PBVSI Tegal Regency has very good planning, because in its planning found five planning criteria in sports organizations, namely: clear who worked, what is done, when done, where it is done or carried out, and clearly how it was implemented. Besides, PBVSI Tegal Regency has carried out joint planning which is planned and decided together during deliberations and work meetings. Planning that is designed is not only a formality, because planning that is designed is mostly carried out; PBVSI Tegal Regency already has good organization, because it only fulfills four of the five criteria in organizing sports organizations namely have a complete manager, mechanism of activity, job description, and there are routine activities that are carried out (coaching activities, championships, meetings), but there has been no discussion of a meeting or deliberation at the beginning of the year. All management elements cooperate in completing tasks following the competencies in their respective fields; Implementation in coaching management at PBVSI in Tegal Regency is included in a good category, because it only finds three criteria from four categories in the implementation of sports organizations namely implement the program, program implementation, complete 5M (man, money, method materials, and machine). Because the implementation has not been able to obtain maximum achievements; Supervision in PBVSI management in Tegal Regency is included in the sufficient category because it only meets two of the four categories, namely reporting and evaluation, but there is no supervision and monitoring.

Upper arm has the prominent role when pitching to get maximum motion and joints stabilize. Rotator cuff muscle generate rotation in the shoulder while pitching and control shoulder joints in the lower arm’s muscles and joints. Baseball pitcher has a special skill in the strength, speed, and endurance. They had to keep their performance to avoid from injury especially shoulder and elbow injuries. Biomechanical analysis can help to evaluated performance in monitoring dan give recommendation to elevate skills and prevent injury. Abstract

Introduction: The good throws need acceleration, and acceleration starts from maximum lateral rotation with the ball come quickly to the target. The aim of this study was to investigate the comparison between sidearm and overhand throws. Method: 60 players participate in this study (age 20.9±0.4, Height 168.9±5.3, Weight 58.8±5.3 and BMI 20.6±1.8). All participants are beginner and they are right handed. Throw test in this study were sidearm and overhand throws technique with ten meters in one minute. Stopwatch is used to calculate the time for sidearm throw and overhand throw, and Dartfish software version 4.5.2.0 is used to analyze throwing motion. The paired t-test in this study was p < 0.05 to analyze the data. Result: The sidearm and overhand throws had significant differences with the average in one minute was 18.08 times and overhand throw was 15.55 times. Base on the motion analysis view in Dartfish, sidearm throw is simpler and faster, which meant side arm throw was more easy to use than overhand throw by the players. Conclusion: sidearm throw more effective than overhand throw, because the movement is shorter and simpler.

This study uses an experimental method with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The data analysis technique in this study uses ANOVA. Based on the results of the study, there was a significant difference in effect between the training methods using rope and hoops to the results of free-throw shooting (Fvalue = 4.87 and Ftable = 4.26), there were significant differences in the results of free-throw shooting abilities between students who had high levels of concentration and low (Fvalue = 4.31 and Ftable = 4.26), there is a significant interaction effect between the training method and concentration level on the results of free-throw shooting (Fvalue = 5.74 and Ftable = 4.26). The conclusion from the results of the study is the training method, and the concentration level is the variables that influence the increased ability to do free throws. Each player has different abilities, especially when someone is under pressure, which certainly cannot provide maximum results.
