Previous literatures have described the influence of ethical leadership on employees’ outcomes. However, many researchers have not yet revealed the mechanism of this effect. Previous research has found that cultural and social factors influence leader-ship styles; therefore, studying ethical leadership styles in different cultural and social environments is important in order to uncover the effectiveness of ethical leadership styles. The purpose of this study was to examine how the mechanism of Islamic ethical leadership influences the behavior of professional nurses who work at the Islamic Hos-pital. There were 212 professional nurses used as the respondents in this study. The data were collected using questionnaires and processed quantitatively using Struc-tural Equation Model (SEM) - WarpPLS 5.0. The results showed that all the hypoth-eses proposed were accepted. Islamic ethical leadership is proven to have a significant influence on ethical behavior of nurses. Besides, ethical sensitivity is proven to have a significant positive effect on ethical behavior. This study also proves that ethical sensitivity moderates the influence of Islamic ethical leadership on nurses' ethical be-havior. It can be implied that ethical sensitivity is an important factor for developing employees’ ethical behavior in the workplace.

Recently the epidemic corruption case in Indonesia has become increasingly rampant. Efforts to eradicate corruption which has been committed after the reformation era in 1998 do not equal with the corruption proliferation in the decentralization era. In the last five years many corruption cases have been revealed due to the role of whistle blower. This study aimed to explicate the main intentions of whistle blowers who uncover corruption cases. The perception study were conducted on Brawijaya University students so that understanding the intentions of these whistle blowers can be found in the government sector which in fact is a focus of corruption practices. A factor analysis and statistical descriptive analysis were conducted to answer the main question of this study which revealed that there are three main factors in whistle blowing intention and that demographic variables do not affect the perception of whistle blowing intention.

This study investigates whether IT integration and company governance can affect the relationship between intellectual capital and company performance in the Indonesian banking sector. That could happen, as there are ever tighter and more numerous competitiveness levels in the banking sector, especially in the field of information technology (IT) and the support given by the top management. This study employs data from 33 banking companies listed on the ISE (Indonesian Stock Exchange) in 2013–2014. The testing was done on the elements of VAICTM (VACA, VAHU, STVA), moderated by IT strategy integration (ITSI) and corporate governance (DK) using the measurement of financial performance (ROA). The findings obtained show that VAHU has a positive effect on financial performance. If the VAICTM element were moderated by ITSI, then a well-integrated IT strategy would weaken the relationship between VACA and banking performance. The limitations of this study lie in the period of the data used, which is limited to 2013– 2014, and in that the component used for testing was done in isolation.

This article explores the integration of growth and fixed mindsets with ethical considerations and primal instincts, offering a fresh perspective on understanding human behaviour, especially in studying organizational behaviour. The motivation behind this exploration is to extend Carol Dweck's mindset theory by incorporating moral and instinctual dimensions, addressing a gap in how these mindsets intersect with ethical decision making that motivated behaviour in organization. The primary method involves constructing a 2x2 matrix that categorizes individuals based on their mindset (growth or fixed) and their tendency to either uphold ethical and moral principles or succumb to primal brain stem impulses. This matrix serves as a tool to elucidate the complex interaction between cognitive orientations and ethical or instinctual drives. For the organizational behaviour, these comprehensive framework, highlights the nuanced relationship between mindset typologies and ethical or primal inclinations, proposing that behaviour is a product of this multifaceted interaction in the interaction of individual in organization. The article concludes with insights on how this integrated approach can enhance our understanding of human actions and decision-making processes.

This study investigated the impact of transformational leadership on Gen Z employees' intentions to leave their jobs. It used affective commitment and work satisfaction as mediating factors. The samples involved 300 Gen Z workers, aged 16 to 26, from various companies across five major Indonesian cities. This study employed a Likert scale questionnaire for data collection, and CFA and SmatPLS Version 22 were used for analysis. The findings demonstrated that transformational leadership significantly reduced the intention of turnover while also enhancing affective commitment and work satisfaction. Then, affective commitment had a strong negative influence on turnover intention. Contrary to job satisfaction, it had a substantial positive impact on turnover intention. Further analysis revealed that transformational leadership had a significant negative impact on turnover intention through affective commitment. Likewise, the influence of transformational leadership on turnover intention had a positive and significant impact if mediated by job satisfaction. An important contribution of this research found that contrary to general assumptions, especially for Gen Z employees, when transformational leadership is good and has a high level of job satisfaction, they will still have turnover intentions.

This research was conducted based on the fact that the number of layoffs in Indonesian bottled water companies are high despite the increasing demand. The objective of this research is to identify the effects of job insecurity, workplace environment, and work motivation on the job satisfaction of employees at PT Atlantic Biruraya Pasuruan, a company located in Pandaan of Sukorejo sub-district of Pasuruan Regency. The data of this quantitative explanatory study was harvested from questionnaires distributed to the company’s employees. Using saturated sampling, all 61 employees were selected as the respondents. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis indicate that job insecurity and work motivation have no significant effect on job satisfaction and that workplace environment positively and significantly influences the job satisfaction. Therefore, the company is suggested to improve its performance assessment system, pay more attention to the workload of their employees, and optimize employee empowerment to increase job satisfaction.
