Abstract

Education should be able to produce competent human resources. In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and 21st-century learning, ahead of vocational school is expected to be increasingly able to diversify educational leadership in all learning activities in the school. Therefore this study aims to analyse entrepreneurial competencies, leadership challenges, and leadership solutions for vocational high school principals in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and 21st-century learning. This research is correlational research using ex-post facto research. The sample of this study was 35 respondents who were determined using the purposive sample method. Respondents included school principals, deputy principals, heads of expertise programs, and vocational school teachers. Data collection techniques are used questionnaires. The analysis prerequisite test is done by normality test, linearity test and multicollinearity test. The results obtained that the entrepreneurial competence of the principal (86.91%) is in the very good category, the principal's leadership challenges (83.48%) are in the high category, and the principal's leadership solutions (84.49%) are included in the appropriate category. There is a significant influence between entrepreneurial competence and the principal's leadership solution with a correlation coefficient of 0.374. There is a significant influence between leadership challenges and the principal's leadership solution with a correlation coefficient of 0.806, and there is a significant effect between entrepreneurial competence and the principal's leadership challenge with a regression coefficient of 0.9 or a determinant factor of 81%.

Abstract

This research was aimed (1) to know the internal environmental factors that affect the management of entrepreneurship strategies for fish tourism attraction Bendhung Lepen; (2) to know external environmental factors that affect the management of entrepreneurship strategies for fish tourism attraction Bendhung Lepen; and (3) to know the appropriate marketing system for the location of Bendhung Lepen fish attractions. The method used in this study was qualitative descriptive where data were obtained by means of interviews, observations, and documentation. The interview was conducted at random on visitors to fish attraction Bendhung Lepen, the community around the Gajah Wong river irrigation site, and the Bendhung Lepen Community. Field results were used for SWOT analysis consisting of IFAS tables, EFAS tables, IE matrices, and SWOT matrices. The results of the analysis on IFAS can be known that the score for internal factors of 3.43 which understands the internal condition of management of fish attraction management in Bendhung Lepen falls into the moderate category (average). This is because factors that have a high score were at high operational cost points. The results of the EFAS analysis showed a score of 3.28 which means the external condition of Bendhung Lepen fish attractions were in good condition, where the most dominant factor is the number of competitors was still small, balanced crop sales, and the density of the number of tourist attraction visitors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal group data on the use of augmented reality media in teaching and learning activities so that it is easier to improve student learning outcomes. Augmented reality media was chosen based on the complexity of the scope of teaching materials consisting of thinking skills and limited practice during the implementation of distance learning. The approach for grouping the use of augmented reality media is through the K-Means algorithm with R software. The sample of this study was 136 students of Building Information and Modeling Design skills competency from 5 State Vocational High Schools spread across districts and cities, DIY Province. The review aspect used as the basis for grouping is the need for alternative media in augmented reality, ease of use, supporting facilities, and speed of understanding the material. The grouping results explain that as many as 80 students can master the material well through augmented reality media, and it is appropriate to use it during distance learning. In comparison, the remaining 56 students still find it difficult. Through the results of this grouping, it can be used to combine other media for students who still find it difficult when participating in distance learning

Abstract

Industrial apprenticeship experience has not been realized optimally towards student work readiness. So that the process of factualization and comparing theoretical knowledge with actual situations and conditions in the world of work becomes less than optimal. In addition, students' work motivation to be ready to work is still in the low category. This study aims to reveal the effect of internship experience and work motivation on work readiness. The sampling technique used simple random sampling and obtained research respondents as many as 450 students in 5 vocational education schools in Yogyakarta. The combination of factor analysis and regression analysis was used to analyze the data using second-order PLS-SEM analysis. Convergent and discriminant validity, and internal consistency reliability has met the test requirements. Evaluation of the structural model shows the value of effect size (f2) with a large effect, the determination coefficient (R2) of the variable is 65.90%, and the predictive relevance (Q2) is 51.10%. Hypothesis testing is based on the β-coefficient, ρ-value, dan T-statistic values that have met the cut-off values suggested in the literature. So that all hypotheses Ha is accepted which indicates that there is a positive and significant effect on the internship experience and motivation on student work readiness. Schools are expected to provide encouragement for work motivation and review the apprenticeship process from planning to implementation in the field so as to increase student work readiness.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects that must be studied by students, especially students at the undergraduate level (S1). paying attention to the objectives of learning mathematics in Permendikbud Number 21 of 2016 requires students to have the ability to think logically, analytically, systematically, critical and creative. However, mathematics learning material that has an abstract nature, makes mathematics difficult by most students. This is one of the causes of not achieving the goal mathematics learning. The concepts can be understood easily when ease to follow the times experienced by students. Stage student development requires students to be able to reason with using things that are abstract and symbolic. One solution to help students understand mathematics material using e-learning. Learning E-learning is an educational concept that utilizes technological advances information and communication, especially in the teaching and learning process. Convenience learning with e- learning also lecturers can prepare learning effectively and efficient by using media and learning resources that are more interesting so that they do not focused on printed books. This can increase student interest in learning where learning is no longer focused on the lecturer and class. The function of e-learning in support learning activities in the classroom, namely as a supplement, complement and substitution. Based on the description of the explanation above, it can be concluded that: The purpose of writing this paper is to describe how the role of e-learning in learning mathematics at the Muhammadiyah University of Education Sorong.

Abstract

The study aimed to investigate one of the search’s core issues, ‘employability skills’, and their relationship. It also attempted to recognize the valuable contributions of writers, journals, governments, and institutions worldwide in pursuing employability skills. The quantitative study of bibliographic content is known as bibliometric analysis. Furthermore, it provides a broad view of a study subject that may be subdivided into publications, authors, and journals. This study offers a bibliometric summary of recent research on employability skills. Data was taken from the Scopus database between 2003 and 2022 and examined using VOSviewer software, open refine, tableau public, and Microsoft Excel. The data from the Scopus database are 1,070 documents. Researchers observed that researchers mainly focus on employability skills, higher education, engineering education, curricula, employment, and vocational education. Education and Training journal is the most appropriate journal for contributions, followed by Higher Education, Skills, and Work-based Learning journal, and then the Higher Education Research and Development journal. This study informs researchers by providing insights into basic background knowledge about employability skills for visual and quantitative research. Therefore, this method can observe the research gap in employability skills and more in-depth academic discussions. The study demonstrates how employability skills research has arisen and progressed, as well as prospective future research agendas.

Abstract

Pendampingan Penilaian Anugerah Desa Wisata (ADWI) merupakan sebuah program yang bertujuan untuk mengakui dan mendorong desa-desa wisata dalam mewujudkan keberlanjutan global sebagai destinasi pariwisata. Desa Segajih adalah salah satu desa wisata yang telah aktif terlibat dalam upaya mencapai keberlanjutan global sebagai destinasi pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pendampingan yang dilakukan terhadap Desa Segajih dalam proses penilaian ADWI serta menganalisis upaya Desa Segajih dalam mewujudkan keberlanjutan global sebagai destinasi pariwisata. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen terkait pendampingan ADWI serta upaya Desa Segajih dalam mencapai keberlanjutan global destinasi pariwisata. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan yang dilakukan terhadap Desa Segajih memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam membantu desa tersebut mencapai keberlanjutan global sebagai destinasi pariwisata.. Melalui pendampingan ini, Desa Segajih berhasil meningkatkan kualitas infrastruktur pariwisata, meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya keberlanjutan, dan mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pengelolaan pariwisata. Selain pendampingan, Desa Segajih juga telah melakukan berbagai upaya dalam mewujudkan keberlanjutan global sebagai destinasi pariwisata. Upaya tersebut mencakup pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang berkelanjutan, promosi pariwisata yang bertanggung jawab, pengembangan produk dan layanan pariwisata yang ramah lingkungan, serta peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat. Kesimpulannya, pendampingan dalam penilaian ADWI berperan penting dalam membantu Desa Segajih mencapai keberlanjutan global sebagai destinasi pariwisata. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman mengenai peran pendampingan dalam mewujudkan keberlanjutan global destinasi pariwisata dan memberikan wawasan bagi desa-desa wisata lainnya untuk mengadopsi pendekatan yang serupa dalam upaya mencapai keberlanjutan global.

Abstract

Valid and fast information is needed in everyday life. Information will be an important element in the development of society today and in the future, but the high need for information is sometimes not balanced with the presentation of adequate information. Often with the development of current information systems, SDGP Mokobang requires an identifier in the digital world that can also be used for promotion. In the development of SDGP Mokobang has never built a website that becomes a school information portal. By using the prototype method this research can be done quickly and according to the wishes of the user.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan pneumatik pada mahasiswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran lengkap dan demonstrasi sesuai berdasarkan kemampuan analitiknya pada pembelajaran mata kuliah Pneumatik Hidroulik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan variabel terikat keterampilan pneumatik, variabel bebas strategi pembelajaran, dan variabel atribut kemampuan analitik mahasiswa. Rancangan eksperimen faktorial 2x2 dengan dua ta-raf kualifikasi variabel bebas yaitu strategi pembelajaran lengkap dan demonstrasi. Dua kelas sebagai subyek penelitian dengan 32 mahasiswa pada masing-masing kelas, sehingga jumlah keseluruhan adalah 64 mahasiswa yang dipilih secara random. Temuan penelitian ini adalah (1) keterampilan pneumatik mahasiswa yang diajar dengan strategi lengkap lebih tinggi dibanding yang diajar dengan strategi demonstrasi, (2) kelompok mahasiswa yang berkemampuan analitik tinggi dan diajar dengan strategi lengkap, keterampilannya lebih tinggi dibanding yang diajar dengan strategi demonstrasi, (3) kelompok mahasiswa yang berkemampuan analitik rendah dan diajar dengan strategi demonstrasi, keterampilannya lebih tinggi dibanding yang diajar dengan strategi lengkap, (4) ada interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan kemampuan analitik terhadap keterampilan pneumatik.Kata kunci:      strategi pembelajaran, kemampuan analitik, keterampilan pneumatik

Abstract

The objective of this study is to create a variable frequency drive (VFD) trainer kit, assess the practicality of the developed VFD educational tool, and evaluate its impact on the academic performance of industrial electronic engineering students, particularly in the area of electronic control systems. The study utilizes the ADDIE model and customized to meet the requirements and consists of the following phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. There were 130 respondents consisting of 122 vocational students, 1 industry expert/practitioner in the field of VFD, 1 vocational training center instructor, 4 vocational teachers, and 2 lecturers. Data were collected using questionnaires with 4 Likert scales from strongly agree to strongly disagree, feasibility assessment sheets from media experts and material experts, interviews, and electronic control system learning outcomes tests. The learning media receives a “highly feasible” and the job sheet obtains 67 “highly feasible”. Moreover, the level of effectiveness of the learning media receives a score of 0.724, indicating high effectiveness. Therefore, they have proven to be effective in enhancing student learning outcomes and developing their proficiency in controlling the speed of electric motors. This will help bridge the gap between the industry's skill requirements and the skills taught in schools.
