Abstract

The implementation of the rule of law and the national constitution play an important role in building strong and sustainable national resilience. This research aims to provide an in-depth understanding to the younger generation about the crucial role of the rule of law and the national constitution in building a solid state foundation. The method used was a qualitative approach and in-depth interviews with 18 student respondents to understand their views on the rule of law and the national constitution. The interview results show that the younger generation realizes the importance of knowledge about the rule of law and the national constitution in preventing corruptive behavior, fighting for justice, and protecting individual rights. The implementation of the rule of law and the national constitution is key in building strong national resilience, so a solid understanding of these legal principles is crucial for the younger generation as future leaders. With a strong legal awareness, the younger generation is expected to become agents of change that strengthen national resilience through active participation and advocacy for the principles of democracy and human rights.

Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the paradigm in fostering public awareness in democracy, the extent and form of plurality and democracy of Indonesian society in the future. Discusses the concept of the Sila Kerakyatan as the basis for the Indonesian political system led by wisdom in deliberation and representation, and its implications for the level of voter participation in the electoral process. The method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach that provides an overview of problem solving based on critical analysis and the author's interpretation, based on literature that the author gets from various sources and references. The findings obtained Growing public awareness in instilling democratic values, can be done by (a) Opening a democratic class this program aims to introduce, foster habituation to democracy. Education of democratic awareness from an early age can and must continue to be carried out by various groups, the essence of democracy at the individual level is internalized, so efforts to uphold democracy in structural and cultural currents can be realized. (b) Organizing character education, building a democratic society is a necessity that must be carried out by a country that adheres to a democratic system. Democracy is not understood as a way of managing government but as democratization.

Abstract

The background of this research is to know Pancasila awareness in maintaining national identity. The purpose of this research is to increase awareness of Pancasila in society in the era of globalization. The method used in this research is literature review. From the results of the theoretical study it was found that Pancasila awareness is important in maintaining national identity. In short, Pancasila awareness plays an important role in maintaining national identity. By understanding and practicing Pancasila values, people can strengthen unity, preserve local culture and traditions, strengthen social solidarity and overcome the challenges of globalization. As an effort to maintain national identity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems faced by teachers in dealing with students with special needs and how to overcome these problems that have been carried out by previous researchers. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method referring to PRISMA (Prefered Reporting Item for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) to examine documents from Google Scholar between 2010 and 2024 related to teacher problems in dealing with students with special needs. Documents were obtained using the Publish or Perish journal search application with the keyword teacher problems in dealing with children with special needs. From the search results, 200 journal articles were obtained. From 200 journal articles, 10 articles were selected that were in accordance with the problems of teachers in dealing with students with special needs. The results of the journal analysis found that the problems faced by many teachers are the first difficulty in preparing lesson plans. Teachers have difficulty designing lesson plans due to lack of training in designing lesson plans, secondly teachers have difficulty in choosing the right learning methods because of the changing moods of students with disabilities.Third lack of media and infrastructure to support learning for students with disabilities. Finally, there is a lack of cooperation between teachers, parents, schools, communities and the government in supporting the implementation of learning for children with disabilities in inclusive schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of progressivism in overcoming the problems of teachers in dealing with students with special needs in inclusive schools. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method referring to PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) to examine documents from Google Scholar between 2010 and 2024 related to the application of the philosophy of progressivism in education and also related to the problems of teachers in dealing with children with special needs (ABK).Searching for journal articles using Publish or Perish with the keyword philosophy of progressivism in learning students with special needs. Then we also conducted a search on Publish or Perish related to the problems of teachers facing children with special needs with the keywords teacher problems facing students with special needs. From these two journal searches, it turns out that the principles of the philosophy of progressivism, which prioritize aspects of contextual and student-centered learning, can overcome teachers' problems in dealing with students with disabilities related to lesson plans, learning methods and media and infrastructure.

Abstract

Pedagogical competence is one of the essential abilities of teachers in managing student-centered learning in accordance with Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers and Director General Regulation Number 2626/B/HK.04.01/2023. Increasing pedagogical competence can be achieved through various means, one of which is learning communities. This research aims to explore the role of learning communities in improving the pedagogical competence of teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Ciwidey. The research was conducted on 4-8 November 2024 using descriptive qualitative methods through surveys and interviews with teachers who actively participate in the learning community at SMPN 2 Ciwidey. This research maps all research samples into levels of pedagogical competency. The research results show that learning communities have a significant influence on increasing teacher pedagogical competence. Three levels of pedagogical competency for SMPN 2 Ciwidey teachers were obtained, namely 16% of teachers were at level 3, 69% of teachers were at level 4 and 14% of teachers reached level 5. Research recommends a continuous professional development program for teachers at level 3 through intensive training and strategic collaboration . Teachers at levels 4 and 5 are expected to provide guidance to colleagues through a mentoring program.

Abstract

Critical thinking ability is the ability of students when considering problems and deciding on a decision so as to solve a problem. The purpose of this study was to identify students' mathematical thinking skills on arithmetic material. This research used descriptive qualitative method. This research shows the results of student answers on arithmetic material related to students' mathematical critical thinking skills. The implementation of the research in class X in one of the private high schools in Bandung Regency, with a random sample selection of 40 students from class X.1 - X.5. This study used a question instrument including 4 description questions on arithmetic material. The analysis was carried out on student answers according to the question instrument indicators. The research results based on each indicator according to the percentage of critical thinking ability categories, it is known that 51% of students are able to interpret the problem, 50% of students can analyze and evaluate the problem, and 13% of students can evaluate inference or make conclusions correctly according to what is asked. Therefore, there are still many students who have low critical thinking skills

Abstract

Education is an essential foundation in character building and human potential development that lasts throughout life. In the modern era, education not only acts as a transfer of knowledge, but also as a medium to help individuals achieve full self-actualization. This research explores the relevance of existentialism philosophy in the context of 21st century education, focusing on self-actualization as the core of individual development. This research uses the literature method to understand the application of existentialism principles, such as freedom, authenticity, responsibility, and the search for the meaning of life in education. The results show that existentialism-based education supports the holistic development of students' potential through self-confidence, active engagement and character strengthening. In addition, education that integrates spiritual values offers a comprehensive approach to address modern challenges, such as academic pressures, emotional needs, and the influence of technology. With this approach, students are expected to be able to face the challenges of the modern era with strong character, high integrity, and a balance between worldly and spiritual achievements. This research makes an important contribution to the development of humanist and contextualized education, according to the demands of the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher competence in angklung learning using the Kodaly method in formal education units. Kodaly's hand sign method, which converts musical notation into hand symbols, is applied to improve students' musical understanding and engagement in angklung learning. The research used the literature study method by reviewing various previous studies related to angklung music learning and teacher pedagogical competence. The results showed that the application of the Kodaly method was able to increase learning effectiveness, improve students' angklung playing skills, and create an interactive and fun learning atmosphere. This research emphasizes the importance of teacher competence, both in mastering music theory and teaching skills, to maximize student potential and preserve culture through angklung learning. In conclusion, the Kodaly method not only helps achieve learning objectives but also contributes to the preservation of traditional culture through fun and meaningful music teaching.

Abstract

This research explores the use of Virtual Reality (VR) storytelling in language learning, focusing on its impact on speaking fluency, narrative skills, and student engagement. As traditional language teaching methods often face challenges such as limited speaking practice and learner anxiety, VR offers a promising alternative by creating immersive, interactive environments that encourage active participation. The objective of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of VR storytelling in enhancing these language skills, particularly in second language learners. The study utilized an action research methodology, involving language learners who participated in VR-based storytelling interventions. Pre- and post-assessments, along with surveys and student feedback, were used to evaluate speaking fluency, narrative construction, and overall engagement. The findings indicated significant improvements in all three areas, with students reporting increased confidence, reduced anxiety, and enhanced motivation to engage with the language. The use of VR not only improved grammatical and lexical aspects of speaking but also fostered creativity and coherence in storytelling. These results support the potential of VR to transform traditional language education by providing an engaging, low-pressure environment for learners. The study concludes by recommending the integration of VR in language classrooms to enhance language acquisition and suggests further exploration into long-term effects and content diversity.
