Abstract

Abstract

The global challenge of preserving the environment, meeting demand, and ensuring corporate sustainability drives the cement industry to implement strategies in its supply chain. The practice of green supply chain management is one of the strategies that are well applied in the face of the challenges to the cement industry. Through the GSCM practical dimension consisting of green manufacturing, green purchasing, green transportation, and green facilities, this research will test the impact of the application of GSCM on the performance of cement companies in Indonesia. The thesis used primary data and obtained 224 respondents from 13 groups of cement companies that are part of the Indonesian Cement Association (ASI). The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and partial least squares (PLS) techniques using smartPLS software version 3.2.9. Research results show that internal environmental management influences GSCM practices and influences the performance of cement companies in Indonesia. Green purchasing only has a positive impact on operational performance and has no impact on the environmental, economic, or social performance of the company. Green transportation is positive for the economic, operational, and social performances of the enterprise but does not have an impact on environmental performance. The study also found that green supply chain management practices strengthen the relationship between internal environmental management and the performance of cement companies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Gold mining companies in Indonesia must refine gold from dori bullion in Jakarta, which faces various risks, including theft. This study examined the effect of cargo management, facility management, and information management on supply change security operational performance moderated by security culture in gold mining companies in Indonesia. The type of research used is causality research, which is a hypothesis to test the effect of a variable on another variable. The variables used consist of 3 independent variables: cargo management, facility management, and information management; 1 moderating variable, security culture; and 1 dependent variable, supply change security operational performance. The sample withdrawal method uses purposive sampling, namely respondents who work in gold mining companies related to the supply chain for sending Dori bullion. The sample used was 160 respondents, and the analysis tool was SEM-PLS. The findings show that cargo management, facility management, and information management are proven to have a positive effect on supply change security operational performance, while security culture is not proven to moderate the influence of cargo management, facility management, and information management on supply change security operational performance. Keyword : cargo management, facility management, information management, security culture, supply change security operational performance

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic has resulted in changes in lifestyle and activities. This is also felt by entrepreneurs who are members of Depok Creative Woman and partners in the Community Service Program. The problems faced by partners are how to use information technology and Google Drive, which can be used to create and store documents that can be accessed and edited online together in WFH situations, how to create and distribute questionnaires that can be used online, what are the security factors that need to be considered in the use of information technology online, as well as how to use information technology in offline internet conditions. This activity aims to provide training on organizing documents to support the effectiveness of WFH activities for partners. The activity plan begins with the identification of partner problems. Next, the activity team is coordinated to find solutions to problems and assignments by team members. Implementation of activities utilizes the video conference Zoom application to explain and practice partners how to utilize information technology related to organizing documents to support the effectiveness of WFH activities. Based on the results of 18 respondents, it is known that 100% of respondents stated that training on uploading documents to Google Drive was beneficial for small and medium businesses/business activities.

Abstract

The crisis regarding the final waste disposal site (TPA) in various regencies and cities is caused by the waste management that still relies on the collection and transport system and disposes of it to the TPA. The 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) Waste Processing Site (TPS) plays an important role in waste management on a regional scale. TPS 3R makes it easier to handle waste, because does not require a large area and it closer from the houses to waste collection. This study aims to analyze the potential waste utilization in Ciangsana Village as an effort to reduce waste and support national policies on waste management. The study was conducted through a survey of waste source mapping, waste generation, characteristics and composition. Furthermore, data analysis is carried out to select the appropriate processing technique. The results showed that the composition of waste in Ciangsana Village consisted of 50.3% food waste, 15.4% plastic, 8.5% paper/box wood, 2.3% cloth, rubber and leather, 1.3% metal and glass and 17.5% residual. The TPST-3R which is equipped with waste processing into RDF and BSF in Ciangsana is expected to reduce the waste that is disposed of in the TPA by 70-80%.

Abstract

Java Island contributes 57.05% to the Indonesian economy, with the logistics sector as one of the main contributors (13.96%) through transportation and warehousing. However, this sector faces challenges in the form of high logistics costs. Logistics performance, as measured by the Logistics Performance Index (LPI), shows a downward trend in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of integration, agility, robustness, resilience, and sustainability supply chain on supply chain performance. Using a hypothesis testing approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the AMOS program, primary data were collected from 289 logistics sector employees in Java Island using the technique of purposive sampling. The results of the study show a positive influence of supply chain integration on agility, resilience, resilience, and sustainability. Agility affects supply chain resilience and performance, while resilience also affects supply chain performance. However, there was no positive influence of resilience on resilience, resilience on performance, or integration on performance through resilience. Sustainability has the strongest influence on supply chain performance (0.834) compared to other factors. This study is limited to the logistics industry in Java Island, and it is recommended that similar studies be conducted in other sectors or regions to broaden insights. This study contributes to the supply chain literature and provides practical implications for logistics companies.
