Abstract

Fiber-reinforced plastics are widely used in aerospace, marine, military, automotive, wind turbine, sports, and civil engineering applications. GFRP is a common material used in engineering applications such as for UAV structural material. Several techniques that can be used in the composite structure manufacturing process are HLU, VB, and, VARI. This paper studies the influence of the three manufacturing processes on the compressive and shear properties of GFRP composites. This study uses e-glass fiber as reinforcement material and a clear epoxy polymer called lycal as matrix material. The composites were manufactured by using HLU, VB, and VARI processes. The specimen dimensions, compressive, and shear tests are following ASTM standards. The microstructural characteristics were observed using a scanning electron microscope. The compressive strength of VARI composite is higher than HLU and VB composites up to 71% and 53%, respectively. The shear strength of the VARI composite is higher than HLU and VB composites up to 71% and 53%, respectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas perancangan dan implementasi sistem kendali PID digital berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32 untuk pengendalian posisi dan kecepatan motor DC. Sistem dikembangkan untuk menggantikan modul kendali analog pada Laboratorium Sistem Kendali konvensional, dengan tujuan meningkatkan akurasi, efisiensi, dan fleksibilitas proses penalaan parameter. Pemrograman dilakukan menggunakan Arduino IDE (C/C++) dengan integrasi antarmuka MATLAB GUI yang berfungsi sebagai media pemantauan respon sistem dan real-time tuning parameter Kp, Ki, dan Kd. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mencapai settling time rata-rata 1,81s, overshoot maksimum 9,3%, dan steady-state error di bawah 3% untuk mode kendali posisi maupun kecepatan. Dibandingkan dengan sistem analog, desain digital berbasis ESP32 memberikan peningkatan kinerja sebesar ±38% dalam hal waktu respon dan kestabilan. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat digunakan sebagai platform edukatif untuk praktikum sistem kendali digital sekaligus prototipe terapan untuk sistem kendali berbasis IoT dan cyber–physical systems (CPS).

Abstract

Language change within digital spaces has increasingly been observed on short video platforms such as TikTok. The use of Indonesian is no longer fully aligned with formal structures since it is shaped by fast paced and visually driven interaction. This study was conducted to examine how such transformation takes place through a pragmatic perspective. Data were obtained from TikTok content in 2026 including spoken expressions and supporting text. The analysis was carried out by tracing contextual meaning and communicative function in each interaction. The findings indicate that language forms tend to shift at the level of word choice and meaning delivery. Language use is also oriented toward expressing identity and creating social closeness. These results suggest that language transformation is not merely structural but also closely tied to the dynamics of digital communication.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the readiness of schools and teacher in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at the elementaru school llevel in Indonesia. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained from literature review and content analysis. The findings indicate variations in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum across provinces, with some provinces achieving a hgh lebel of implementation. Factors such as the number of motivated teachers, local goverment support,and community involvement influence the success of implemetation. Recommendations for further actions include strengthening teacher training, expanding implementation, and empowering motivated teachers as steps to enhance the quality of education through the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Perubahan paradigma pendidikan di era digital menuntut guru mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal di SDN Tlajung Udik 04, pemanfaatan aplikasi pembelajaran digital seperti quizizz masih sangat terbatas dan belum maksimal. Mempertimbangkan hal tersebut, tim pengabdian merancang kegiatan pelatihan pemanfaatan aplikasi quizizz sebagai media belajar interaktif. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan literasi digital guru melalui penggunaan quizizz sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif. Dalam era digital yang terus berkembang, kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran sangat penting. Quizizz, sebagai alat berbasis digital yang menarik dan interaktif, akan digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menyampaikan materi secara lebih dinamis dan efektif. Metode kegiatan ini dilakukan secara terstruktur dan menyeluruh, dengan empat tahapan yaitu: transfer pengetahuan, pelatihan teknis, simulasi refleksi, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, peningkatan kompetensi guru, implementasi inovasi penilaian, pembentukan jejaring guru inovatif, dan komitmen kepala sekolah mendukung penggunaan aplikasi quizizz. Melalui pelatihan ini, para guru memperoleh pemahaman dan keterampilan baru dalam membuat kuis interaktif, memanfaatkan fitur-fitur Quizizz, serta menerapkannya dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital ke dalam pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan memotivasi siswa.

Abstract

This article examines the conceptual metaphors employed in the Indonesian novel Bumi Manusia and its German translation, Garten der Menschheit, with a focus on how metaphorical expressions embody cultural cognition and how translation strategies reshape these metaphors across languages. Sixty-four conceptual metaphor was analysed in terms of their cognitive structure, type, cultural grounding, and translation technique. Drawing on Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT) and a comparative cultural-linguistic perspective, the study identifies dominant metaphorical domains including emotion, human character, nature and landscape, modernity, social hierarchy, physical movement, and embodiment. The analysis demonstrates how metaphors are adapted to align with the linguistic and cultural context of German-speaking readers, ensuring that the translated text preserves the depth and nuance of the original. The findings provide a qualitative mapping of metaphorical conceptualizations in both languages and offer insights into the cognitive and cultural processes involved in metaphor translation. In addition, the study outlines pedagogical implications for literary studies, intercultural competence, and metaphor awareness in multilingual classrooms.
