Abstract

Indonesia with its tropical climate, boasts abundant agricultural potential, including on Lombok Island. UMKM Agro Jamur Lombok is a promising white oyster mushroom cultivation business in this region, driven by high market demand. This research aims to analyze the production cost structure and business feasibility of white oyster mushroom cultivation at UMKM Agro Jamur Lombok. The study employed a descriptive quantitative method, collecting data through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature reviews. Data analysis included calculations of production costs (fixed and variable), revenue, income, and business feasibility using the R/C ratio, B/C ratio, and Break-Even Point (BEP). The research results indicate that UMKM Agro Jamur Lombok's total production cost in 2024 was IDR 197,100,000, with a revenue of IDR 336,000,000, yielding an income of IDR 138,900,000. The feasibility analysis showed an R/C ratio of 1.7047 and a B/C ratio of 0.7047, indicating that the business is feasible and profitable. Although there was a decrease in production due to damaged grow bags, the R/C ratio (1.6536) and B/C ratio (0.6536) after the decline still demonstrate business viability. However, there is a discrepancy between the BEP selling price of grow bags (IDR 8,213/unit) and the actual selling price in the field (IDR 4,000/unit), which requires further review regarding cost efficiency or market dynamics.

Abstract

The availability of groundwater is an important factor in meeting the need for clean water for human populations and ecosystems. Groundwater utilization in the world continues to increase every year along with the increase in population. This study aims to identify groundwater potential using resistivity geoelectric method with Schlumberger configuration in Pujut District, Mertak village. This area is one of the areas that often experiences drought, especially during the dry season. The research was conducted by conducting field surveys using geoelectric devices and resistivity data analysis. This method utilizes the propagation properties of electric current flowed into the soil through two current electrodes, then the potential difference that occurs is measured through two potential electrodes plugged into the ground surface. Analysis of resistivity data yielded a picture of the potential distribution of groundwater in six sites.  The identified characteristics of subsoil are breccia, loam, limestone, alluvial, and sandstone. At locations 4,5 and 6 have aquifer layers with an average depth of 30 meters. This layer is dominated by a hard layer (sandstone) and a soft layer (limestone). This research provides a better understanding of the distribution and characteristics of aquifers in the Pujut area, especially Mertak village, so that the results of this research can be the basis for making decisions on groundwater resources management and further development in mapping groundwater resources in the region with other geological contexts.

Abstract

West Nusa Tenggara has a high level of fauna (animal) characteristics, because its position is on the Wallacea line as an ecological transition between the continents of Asia and Australia. The fauna in NTB varies according to the existing ecosystem, this happens because there is a match between the species and the environment or place where they develop. An ecosystem that experiences changes in certain conditions can also cause changes in species variations. Climate change is one of the causes of changes in an ecosystem. This research aims to determine the impact of climate change on biodiversity conditions in NTB. Research activities were carried out at the offices of the NTB Environment and Forestry Service, the NTB Natural Resources Conservation Center, and the NTB Maritime and Fisheries Service, for interviews and requests for data regarding climate change and diversity in NTB. The research method used was purposive sampling. The results of animal data show that this species already has a small number in NTB so it must be immediately conserved by the local government so that it does not experience extinction due to climate change.

Abstract

The global climate changes that are currently occurring can have a significant impact on the plantation and forestry sectors in Sesaot Village, West Lombok Regency. Even though the plantation technology used by the people of Sesaot Village is still traditional, there are also very diverse types of plantation crops in the village which can make a significant contribution to the local economy, the main challenge faced is increasing temperatures which have the potential to reduce harvest yields and forest productivity. Due to changes in temperature experienced by the community from year to year, it shows a significant increasing trend. Based on data from the West Lombok Regency Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the period from 1997 to 2024 in May shows a trend of increasing temperatures that continues from year to year. This research aims to analyze the concrete impact of global climate change and adaptation on the plantation and forestry sectors in Sesaot Village. In facing this challenge, cooperation between government, society and other related parties is very important. Efforts to increase awareness of the impacts of climate change and encourage the adoption of modern technology in the plantation sector can be key steps in mitigating possible negative impacts.

Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of climate change on the vulnerability of coastal areas and small islands in Gili Air, North Lombok. Climate change, including rising temperatures and sea levels, is affecting coastal ecosystems, such as coral reefs which are vulnerable to bleaching and death. This study identifies a trend of increasing built-up land on Gili Air in the 2013-2022 period, which is caused by tourism promotion policies. The impact of this policy causes an increase in the number of tourists and local residents, which then increases the need for tourism supporting facilities. These land cover changes and development pressures increase Gili Air's environmental and economic vulnerability to climate change. These findings emphasize the importance of comprehensive adaptation and mitigation strategies to preserve the sustainability of ecosystems and the livelihoods of local residents.
