Abstract

The purpose of this study is to illustrate what the results of the influence of the PBL model assisted by edmodo media on class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Panribuan look like. In addition, italso wants to prove whether students' interests and learning outcomes have significant differences before and after treatment. Analysis of this data uses the SPSS program from validityto hypothesis. From the results of the study, the average value of experimental class 2 was obtained using an edmodo-assisted PBL model with a standard deviation of 92. 17 average values of experimental class 1 using a PBL model of 70.81 with a standard deviation of 9.495, and a control mean value of 57.79 with a standard deviation of 10.531 . As for the comparison of learning outcomes in the N-Gain test, it was obtained: The N-gain of experimental class 2 using the edmodo-assisted PBL model is g = 0.7 is the tingi category, while the N-gain of experimental class 1 using the PBL model is g = 0.402 is a medium category, N-gain class control is g = 0.27 is a low category. Therefore, the improvement in experimental class learning outcomes is higher than the increase in control class learning outcomes. This corresponds to the value of sig.( 2- tailed) = 0.000 on ANOVA Sig.(2 - tailed) test = 0.00,< 0.05, then Ho was rejected. So it can be concluded that there are significant differences in "The Effect of Edmodo-Assisted Problem Based Learning Learning Model on Student Interest and Learning Outcomes on Immunity System Material class XI SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Panribuan T.A. 2021 / 2022."

Abstract

Pencemaran dapat terjadi karena penggunaan sumber daya pada pembangunan. Lingkungan dapat dikatakan tercemar jika dimasuki bahan pencemar yang mengakibatkan gangguan pada makhluk hidup yang ada di dalamnya. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan agar kelompok masyarakat dapat mengetahui bagaimana menganalisis kualitas air untuk melihat apakah perairan tersebut mengalami pencemaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode presentasi dan demonstrasi. Sosialisasi tentang kajian kualitas air dalam upaya pengendalian pencemaran perairan di Kabupaten Batu Bara ini sangat bermanfaat terhadap kelompok masyarakat, hal ini terbukti dari semangat kelompok masyarakat yang cukup antusias dalam mengikuti sosialisasi mulai dari awal sampai akhir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi jaringan tumbuhan di kelas XI SMA Teladan Pematang Siantar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Teladan Pematang Siantar. Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dengan sampel kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel penelitian ini meliputi variabel bebas yaitu model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes, Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda. Data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan uji Independent Sample T-test. Hasil Belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen mencapai karakteristik baik dan kelas kontrol hanya mencapai pada karakteristik cukup. Mean post-test kelas eksperimen 83,1 dan mean post-test kelas kontrol 74,04. Hasil Uji Independent Sample t-test menunjukkan nilai thitung = 3.363 > ttabel = 1.989 yang berarti bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik, dan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 yaitu 0,001. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Riset ini bermaksud buat mengerti hasil berlatih anak didik dengan memakai miniatur penataran tekateki solving serta tidak memakai penataran tekateki solving dan juga cengkeraman berarti pemanfaatan miniatur penataran tekateki solving kepada hasil berlatih biologi anak didik pada modul ruang lingkup biologi kasta X SMA Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar. riset ini memakai kelas studi kuantitatif. Populasi dalam studi ini yaitu segala anak didik kasta X PMIA SMA Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar yang terdiri dari kasta X PMIA1- X PMIA 7.Teknik pemungutan ilustrasi pada studi ini memakai Purposive Sampling ilustrasi pada penilitian ini yaitu 35 kontestan tuntun dari kasta X PMIA 5 selaku kasta pengawasan serta 35 kontestan tuntun dari kasta X PMIA 7 selaku kasta pengkajian. Instrumen yang adalah pengecekan hasil berlatih buat menjumlahkan serta mengerti hasil berlatih kontestan tuntun lewat pengecekan tercantum berwujud hal opsi kembar. berasas hasil analisa data didapat angka pada kasta pengkajian adalah angka paling tinggi anak didik 96, angka terendah 72, dengan rata-rata 86,74, sementara itu pada kasta pengawasan angka paling tinggi anak didik 92, angka terendah 60, dengan rata-rata 77,71. Hasil analisa data tes anggapan “t”yaitu 0,601 > 0,05 dengan begitu Ha didapat, maksudnya ada cengkeraman yang berarti pemanfaatan miniatur penataran tekateki solving kepada hasil berlatih biologi anak didik pada modul ruang lingkup biologi kasta X SMA Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023.

Abstract

A very basic concept in the traditional Toba Batak kinship organization is the clan. Marga is a group of people who come from the same grandfather and follow the lineage from the father which is called patrilineal. Toba Batak customs are connected by a red thread that is tied in a kinship relationship "Dalihan natolu ". This study aims to analyze multidimensional science education in the ethnoscience of Dalihan Na Tolu in the perspective of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. This study is a literature study (library research) with data sources from previous research articles on topics related to science education, science concepts, ethnoscience, and Dalihan natolu .The literature review method is by searching for Discopus literature for the 2017-2022 year using keywords or the keywords Dalihan natolu . The stages of literature are carried out in a simple manner, namely: (1) Searching and presenting literature, (2) Literacy analysis process, (3) Article preparation. The results of the study show that (1) the nature of learning science can be classified into three dimensions, namely science as a product, science as a process, and science as an attitude; (2) Dalihan Na Tolu Dalihan Na Tolu is a philosophy that is an integral part of the life of the Toba Batak people (3) ethnoscience Dalihan Na Tolu contains the concept of kinship and can be integrated into the concept of science such as Biology, Mathematics and Physics (4) several learning models with an ethnoscience approach can improve conceptual understanding, science process skills, conservation attitudes, and students' creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

This research study explored the use of video media to improve science learning outcomes for third-grade elementary school students in Indonesia. To conduct the survey, the researchers select a representative sample of third-grade students from a target population, ensuring that the sample adequately represents the diversity of students in terms of backgrounds, academic abilities, and prior exposure to video media in science education. A qualitative survey methodology was employed, and data were collected from a sample of 27 students. The findings indicate that video media positively impacted students' perception of science learning. Students demonstrated high levels of interest and engagement, found the content clear and understandable, experienced improved retention of knowledge, enjoyed self-paced learning, engaged in collaborative experiences, and benefited from the multimodal nature of video media. These findings highlight the potential of video media as a valuable tool in enhancing science education for elementary school students

Abstract

Negara terbesar yang mengimpor udang (Litopenaeus vannamei) adalah Amerika Serikat dan Indonesia. Cara budidaya ikan yang baik (CBIB) adalah cara memelihara dan/atau membesar kan ikan serta memanen hasilnya dalam lingkungan yang terkontrol shg memberikan jaminan keamanan pangan dari pembudidayaan dengan memperhatikan sanitasi,obat ikan, pakan dan bahan kimia serta biologis. Kegiatan sosialisasi dilaksanakan di salah satu kolam milik pembudidaya kerapu di Desa Mesjid Lama Kecamatan Talawi yang diikuti oleh 30 peserta. Sosialisasi tentang Cara Budidaya Ikan Yang Baik (CBIB) bagi pembudidaya udang dan kerapu di Desa Mesjid Lama sangat bermanfaat, hal ini terbukti dari semangat masyarakat yang antusias dalam mengikuti sosialisasi mulai dari awal sampai akhir.

Abstract

Developing students' abilities in science is one of the successful means of increasing their ability to adapt to changing times and enter the world of science, environment, technology, and social life. This study aims to analyze the application of the SETS vision of a constructivist approach to science learning in Class X SMA Negeri 3 Pematang Siantar . SETS (science, environment, technology and society) insightful learning that connects and links the theory learned with its application in the form of technology, its impact on society and the environment as well as social is a form of business that has real and contextual characteristics . This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling technique which was divided into 2 classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The data analysis technique used is the independent sample t-test. The results of the study found that the use of animated video-based learning media was very effective in applying to the physics learning process in terms of the posttest questions and the gain test scores also increased by 0.71 in the experimental class and 0.57 in the control class which was included in the medium category. So it can be concluded that the constructivism learning model is effective in improving physics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of the ethnoscience-based Science Environment Technology Society (SETS) learning model on learning Physics and Biology. This type of research involves systematic research, literature reviews, and meta-analyses. The data sources were taken from an analysis of 100 international journals published from 2018 to 2023. Tracing data sources through Google Scholar, Eric, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest. The process of selecting data sources must meet the inclusion criteria analyzed by the JSAP application. The inclusion criteria in this study are: 1) the journal must be published in 2018–2023; 2) SINTA and Scopus/WOS must index the journal; 3) The journal uses experimental or quasi-experimental research methods; and 4) it has an effect size that can be calculated. The data collection technique is direct observation through the journal database. The results showed that the average effect size (ES = 0.873) is a large criterion. These findings explain that the ethnoscience-based Science Environment Technology Society (SETS) model significantly affects science learning. Furthermore, this SETS learning model helps students learn physics and biology more actively and creatively. These results are very important in evaluating the implementation of the school learning system. Furthermore, this ethnoscience-based SETS model must be applied in learning biology and physics to stimulate students to think critically.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya penerapan metode pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Gallery Walk terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sel kelas XI di SMA Swasta Tamansiswa Pematang siantar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian Pretest-posstest Control Group Design. Pemilihan sampel dengan teknik simple random sampling. Populasi pada penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA dan sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI MIPA 1 dan XI MIPA 2. Kelas XI MIPA 2 berjumlah 30 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dengan metode konvensional dan kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan metode Gallery Walk. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar berupa pre-test dan post-test. Pada hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan menggunakan Metode Gallery Walk terhadap hasil belajar siswa, hal ini dapat dilihat ketika menerapkan metode gallery walk terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi materi sel dengan perbedaan nilai kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol, dimana nilai rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 78,06, sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol yaitu 31,86. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis yang diperoleh dari hasil belajar dengan uji-t yang telah dilakukan dengan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga hipotesis pada penelitian ini dinyatakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima
