Abstract

Rural poverty is the main problem to overcome national can not be delayed andshould be a priority in the implementation of social welfare development.Government in poverty alleviation and job creation in rural areas, has launchedMandiri National Community Empowerment Program (PNPM-M). The presenceof the PNPM-Mandiri through PUAP is expected to change the societies, both interms of income and income distribution. From the results showed that therespondents' income from the agricultural sector amounted to Rp 124,387,319 or90.9% of total revenue. Revenue from non-agricultural sector amounted to Rp12.425 million or 9.1% of total income respondents, the average income permonth of Rp 5,472,493. Through analysis of the income distribution ofrespondents' income, gini index ratio of 0.35 at the farmer respondents. Thisfigure shows that there is inequality in the income of farmers was lower inresponders. This can occur because of differences in income are quite evenlyamong respondents. Based on the analysis of the level of welfare by theDirectorate of Rural Development Year 1991/1992, as many as 81% or 20 kk ofthe respondents had been in poor condition. This indicates that the purpose of theprogram is to increase the level PUAP welfare/beneficiary PUAP fund has beenreached.Keywords: PUAP, revenue, income distribution.

Abstract

Rubber is one of the leading and strategic plantation commodities, its role is quite large in encouraging the people's economy. Effective rubber marketing is the hope of farmers, so that farmers get a good rubber marketing strategy. The aim of the study was to develop recommendations for rubber marketing strategies in Kampa District, Kampar Regency. This study used survey methods, observations, and interviews with the sampling technique using snowball sampling, and the number of respondents was 27 people. SWOT analysis is used to develop a rubber marketing strategy and the discussion is presented in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the analysis of rubber marketing strategies in Kampa District, Kampar Regency are 1). Rubber marketing to factories is carried out through the Joint Business Group and the requirements for joining the Joint Business Group must not be burdensome to members as stipulated in the AD/ART of KUB; 2). The Joint Business Group cooperates with BUMDes to strengthen capital and build rubber storage warehouses; 3). The Joint Business Group evaluates the rubber factory's assessment of the rubber sold and the farmers improve the quality of the rubber according to the established standards; 4). The government helps rubber farmers make an MoU on rubber marketing with rubber factories.

Abstract

This research is aimed to analyze the household economics of ex-rubber farmers of UPP TSCDP. In order to answer the purpose of research, descriptive analysis and econometric approach with a model of simultaneous equations using Two Stage Least Square (2SLS) were used. The results of this research are household rubber farmers allocated more times working in rubber farming which is 1268.8 hours/year (67.34%) and 622.3 hours/year (32.66%) was allocated to work outside rubber farming. The income of rubber farmers household comes more from rubber farming which is Rp.18.684.884,0/year instead of outside the rubber farming worth Rp.11.041.624,0 / year. The expenditure of rubber farmers more on non-food consumption which is Rp.11.685.008/year instead of food consumption Rp.10.640.756/year. In the production block, there are not factors that responsive to economic decisions of households rubber farmers, but the greatest impact is the number of productive rubber trees. However, the factors that responsive for allocated of working time is responsive farmers work experienced and age of the farmer. On the revenue block, the educational factors are responsive to economic decisions of households rubber farmers. While the expenditure, the factor that responsive isthe total income of farmers, the wife of education, the number of school children rubber farmer households and non-food consumption.

Abstract

Mostly Indonesian people depend their life on agricultural sector. Vegetable is one ofagriculture comodity which can give big contribution to economics development if itmanaged optimally. The productivity of vegetable influenced by natural factor (climate,soil, etc), fertilizer, pestiside, capital, and human resource. This research is aimed atidentifying the influence of production factor to mustard production and to analyze theallocation efficiency of the production factor usage in mustard farm using the purposivesampling method with 40 mustard farmer in Maharatu village, Marpoyan Damaisubdistrict. The estimated result with Cobb-Douglas production function indicated that theproduction of mustard farm in Maharatu village were influenced by seed, organic fertilizer,urea, NPK, pestisde, and labour in level 99%. The NPM/Px value for seed and urea is ≥ 1,it means the usage both of that factors can be increased. The value of NPM/Px for NPK,pestiside and labour usage is not important to reach economic efficiency condition and getthe maximum benefit.Keyword: mustard, production factor, cobb-douglas, economic efficiency

Abstract

Research on Rubber Marketing Analysis (Hevea Brasiliensis) in Sarak Island Village Kampar Sub-district Kampar Regency aims to (1) know the marketing channel of rubber (2) analyze cost, margin, profit and farmer share, (3) analyze the efficiency level of rubber marketing in Sarak Village village Kampar Kampar District. The research was conducted on October 2017 until May 2018, The method used survey method with purposive sampling sampling with criterion of farmer who have wide of land of 1-2 hectare, taken samples counted 35 farmer, sampling of merchant conducted by snowball sampling method. The result of the research is 3 marketing channel of rubber that is marketing channel 1 from farmer to collecting merchant to factory, marketing channel 2 from farmer to collecting trader, wholesaler and to factory, marketing channel 3 from farmer to Joint Business Group then to factory. Marketing channel I obtained total marketing cost Rp1.568 / kg, total marketing margin of Rp1.549 / kg, and marketing profit of Rp791 / kg and farmer share of 83.10 percent. Marketing channel II obtained total marketing cost Rp1,807.45 / kg, total marketing margin of Rp1.585 / kg, and marketing profit of Rp634 per kg and farmer share of 82.71 percent. Marketing channel III obtained total cost Rp1.386 / kg, total marketing margin of Rp600 / kg and marketing profit of Rp150, 25 / kg and farmer share of 93.57 percent. The marketing efficiency of marketing channel I is 17.10 percent, marketing channel II marketing efficiency of 19.71 percent, and marketing channel III marketing efficiency of 14.86 percent.

Abstract

Income distribution is an analysis used to see the level of income distribution in a certain class. Income distribution is obtained by identifying various sources of income of sample farmers, namely income from rubber farming, non-rubber farming income and non-agricultural income. In the study entitled Distribution Analysis of Household Income of Rubber Farmers in Kuapan Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, the number of rubber farmers sampled was 50 farmers which were divided into 2 groups, namely non-owner tapping farmers (15 sample farmers) and tapping farmers as well as owners (35 farmers). sample farmers) with proportionate stratified random sampling and snowball sampling. Based on the results of the study, there was no income inequality either in the group of non-owner tapping farmers and the group of tapping farmers as well as owners. Where the combined Gini ratio index is 0.19. Based on the research, equity in both groups of farmers can occur because (1) tapping farmers have other income besides rubber farming (2) non-owner tapping farmers benefit from a profit-sharing system with a ratio of 1: 2 (3) tapping farmers as well as owners have to pay maintenance costs. and land clearing (4) non-owner tapping farmers only incur costs for tools and operational materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) analyze production cost, income, efficiency and feasibillity of cassava farming, (2) identify problem in conducting cassava farming. The method used in this research is survey method with technique of sample selection by Random Sampling method. The number of respondents is 25 respondents. The results showed that the characteristics of farmer aged 30-56 years old with formal education to senior high school, the most experience for 11-15 years, almost all respondents have the number of dependents of families as many as 1-2 people and no toddlers, the land area ranges from 0.5 -1 Ha, and more than 50% of respondents have main occupations as farmers. The efficiency of cassava farming is 1,65 and the feasibille of cassava farming is 65,54%. It means cassava farming is worth to be develop.

Abstract

One of the industries that need attention from the government in its development is a small-scale agro-industries that exist in an area. Agroindustry is the business of processing raw materials into finished products or semi-finished products. Agro-industry is a part of the subsystem agribusiness activities can provide and increase the added value of an agricultural product. This study aimed to analyze the value added and profit agroindustry tempeh chips in Desa Buluh Anthology Seberida District of Indragiri Hulu. The study was conducted in April-May 2014 using census method in 3 tempeh chips agro-industry entrepreneurs in Buluh Village Potpourri Seberida Indragiri Hulu subdistrict. Analysis of data using value-added analysis. The results of this study indicate processing tempeh chips through the stages of making tempe soybean, soybean processing into chips tempe up to the packaging process. Entrepreneurs produce chips tempeh every day. The highest added value obtained Employers 1 with a value of Rp.47.824,81 / kg tempe tempeh processed into chips. Gains derived businessman 1 amounted Rp.44.645,43 / kg tempeh chips. The margin is also present in the agro-industry entrepreneurs tempeh chips 1 that is equal to the largest distributed Rp.68.140,36 and business owners on a gain factor of 65.52%.Keywords: chrispy chips tempe, agroindustry, added value, income, margin.

Abstract

Rubber farmers of KUB members are rubber farmers who are members of KUB, farmers who are involved in the marketing of rubber produced to be sold directly to the factory through KUB so that farmers get high prices and affect the income received by farmers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the income and efficiency of KUB rubber farmers farming in Rambai Island Village, Kampar Timur Sub-District with the consideration that Desa Rambai Village has the highest production in Kampar Timur Sub-District. Data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The analysis used is income analysis of rubber farmers by calculating production cost, gross income and net income and farm efficiency analysis. The results showed that the net income of rubber farmers of KUB members was Rp 21.142.903,24 /ha/year with total production cost of Rp 17.569.832,96 /ha/year. The value of farming efficiency or RCR of rubber farmers members of KUB > 1 is 2,20 means that farming by KUB rubber farmers in Desa Rambai is efficient and feasible to be developed.

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze the financial feasibility and sensitivity of gambir farming tothe changes in input and output prices in Nagari Sialang Kapur IX Sub District of Lima PuluhKota District. The research sites was selected intentionally. The data used include primary andsecondary data. Primary data were obtained from questionnaires and interviews directly tofarmers. Secondary data was obtained from various literatures, printed media and some agenciessuch as BPS and Agricultural Agency. Data was collected in April 2017 and analyzed using NetPresent Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR)criteria. The results showed that gambir farming in Nagari Sialang Kapur IX of Lima Puluh KotaDistrict is economically feasible; it has a positive NPV value of IDR 521,166,238. Net BenefitCost Ratio is greater than one that is 5.59 and IRR value is bigger than Social Opportunity Cost ofCapital (SOCC). Gambir farming in Nagari Sialang Kapur IX is still feasible to be cultivated ifthe cost of production increase up to 20% or if the selling prices decrease up to 20%.
