Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of mentoring, cultural background, and profit on the entrepreneurial resilience of student entrepreneurs at the Entrepreneurship Laboratory (LabStore) of Pamulang University in South Tangerang, Banten. The research also examines the direct and indirect relationships between these variables in enhancing the entrepreneurial resilience of student entrepreneurs. The methodology used is a quantitative survey with a multiple linear regression approach. The research sample consists of 120 respondents selected using probability sampling techniques. Data was collected using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale, which has been evaluated for both validity and reliability. The study results show that mentoring, cultural background and profit significantly affect the entrepreneurial resilience of student entrepreneurs, both simultaneously and partially. The F-test indicates that the regression model meets the model fit criteria, and simultaneously, the dependent variable is influenced by the three independent variables.Keyword: Entrepreneurial Resilience, Mentoring

Abstract

Abstract

Using a systematic literature review approach following the PRISMA guidelines, this study analyzed 20 scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2024 from various countries, focusing on the job satisfaction of lecturers. To ensure the quality of the included studies, only articles indexed in Scopus Q1, Q2, and Q3 were considered using the Watase UAKE database. The objective of this study is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the context and theoretical foundations employed in these studies. In terms of context, all analyzed articles used lecturers as their research subjects. Regarding theoretical foundations, Herzberg's two-factor theory is the most frequently used framework. This study also maps the variables that can be antecedents and consequences of lecturers' job satisfaction. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more effective policies for enhancing the job satisfaction of lecturers.

Abstract

Pandemic Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is a non-natural disaster that occurs globally. Disaster mitigation efforts need to be made when entering a new normal life after the physical distancing policy is relaxed. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge and participation of students in disaster mitigation activities during the new normal period. The research method used descriptive, data collection techniques through Google Form with a sample of 54 students. The results showed that learning of disaster mitigation education is not maximally taught at the university level with a percentage of 57.4% for students, who did not receive disaster mitigation education. However, as many as 51.9% of students had attended training in disaster education. Disaster mitigation education was important to do when a new normal period. That is because students are one component that has a role to convey various information about the disaster, especially COVID-19. This study concludes that knowledge and student participation in disaster education still needs to be improved. The suggestion from this research was necessary to develop innovative learning tools for disaster mitigation education in the new normal era of COVID-19.

Abstract

The government encourages the development of waste management by utilizing waste as a new renewable energy source through waste to energy technology as an effort to overcome the increasing volume of waste and the dependence of electricity production from new coal mineral resources. This study aims to explain how much waste-based renewable energy potential in Palopo can produce through landfill gas. The research method uses the LandGem-v302 tool to calculate landfill gas production, calculate the economic feasibility value using the investment criteria net present value, internal rate of return, benefit cost ratio and payback period. The results of the LandGem-v302 test with projected data for 2024-2030 show that the volume of waste at the Mancani landfill has the potential to produce landfill gas and methane gas to produce renewable energy for approximately 80 years of production from 2025-2110. The economic value feasibility test also shows that the economic value of waste based EBT can be categorized as feasible. Thus, the projection of waste in Palopo City in 2024-2030 has the potential to produce renewable energy and is worth investing in for long-term development in Palopo.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the understanding of happiness at work (HAW) by examining its dimensions and characteristics. Furthermore, it investigates the generation of knowledge concerning HAW through various theoretical frameworks, contextual elements, and methodological approaches. The study also identifies potential future avenues for HAW research. This paper undertakes a systematic literature review of 42 selected empirical articles published from 2010 to 2024, providing an in-depth exploration of HAW. It evaluates trends in publication, dimensions, characteristics, theoretical frameworks, contextual influences, and the research methodologies applied in HAW studies. The results indicate that while research on HAW has gained considerable traction, a significant need remains for further exploration, especially in developing countries. The study identifies several theoretical frameworks, including the job demand-resources model, social exchange theory, and broaden-and-build theory. It also recommends the incorporation of less frequently utilized theories, such as the positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning, and accomplishment (PERMA) model, alongside flow theory, for future research initiatives. This review enriches the literature on workplace happiness by providing a thorough analysis and offers valuable insights to inform future research into the factors affecting employee well-being.

Abstract

Waste collection fleets play a vital role in municipal solid waste management and urban environmental quality. Nevertheless, operational inefficiencies, such as vehicle overloading, suboptimal route planning, and inadequate maintenance, have contributed to significant environmental and infrastructural impacts, including road degradation and diminished urban hygiene. This research adopts a qualitative approach grounded in a comprehensive review of relevant literature to examine how organizational culture affects the performance of waste collection fleets and their broader urban impact. The findings suggest that weak institutional culture, fragmented coordination among agencies, and inconsistent adherence to operational standards are critical drivers of inefficiency. Moreover, limited inter-agency integration, the absence of effective oversight mechanisms, as well as limited technological innovation further compound these challenges. Addressing these systemic issues requires targeted cultural and governance reforms. Key recommendations include strengthening human resource capacity, integrating environmentally sound technologies, and fostering institutional accountability and environmental responsibility. These interventions are essential to enhance operational efficiency. They also play a key role in reducing the ecological footprint of urban waste transportation systems.
