Abstract

CV Yunanda is one of the companies whose manufacturing process is in the form of shoes and sandals, CV Yunanda has one of PDL's main products in the field of leather footwear. The problem with this company is a production defect. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the defects, determine the underlying causes of defective products, and make recommendations for improvement to reduce the number of defective products. This study uses seven tools and six sigma methods to identify the key factors that cause defective products and identify corrective actions to be taken based on the underlying factors. The results showed that there were 4 types of product defects, namely 13% overlapping skin defects and 11% flexed skin, 10% wrinkled skin, 7% scratched skin. The proposed solution is to control, inspect and perform maintenance on machines or equipment used in the production process, establish SOPs for each machine area, improve human resources through training and improvement of the work environment. Abstract

Micro and small businesses have an important role in the economic structure in Indonesia so that the products produced need to be increased in selling value and competitiveness. One method to increase it is halal certification. This is necessary to provide guarantees of product halalness to consumers amid the risks that threaten to change the status of halal to non-halal. To facilitate the halal certification process so as to encourage more micro and small businesses to obtain halal certificates, the Government facilitates the submission of halal certification based on the statements of business actors as stated in the Decree of the Head of the Halal Product Assurance Agency No. 33 of 2022. This community service aims at to carry out halal verification by the halal product process assistant (pph) who has been registered by the Halal Product Assurance Administration Agency (BPJPH). The verification process was carried out on 4 (four) micro and small business actors in the Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. Verification by the PPH assistant is carried out online through the ptsp.halal.go.id system. The verification stage by the PPH assistant is carried out in 3 (three) stages, namely the administrative verification stage, field verification and verification. The results of the verification activities in the 3 (three) stages indicate that micro and small business actors have met the requirements in applying for halal certification and obtained STTD (Document Receipt Letter).

Abstract

In increasing the productivity of the company, we do so not only by working harder but also by working smarter. The company's success in increasing productivity will greatly support its competitiveness in the market. This decrease can be seen in the product results of items whose laundry is not clean. The results of laundry that is less tidy can be seen in the results of laundry that usually can produce 2000 jeans per day but now can only produce 1500 jeans. There are five customers in the company, which are Emba Jeans, Lea Jeans, Hugo Jeans, Cardinal, and Lois. They are upset because the production process is taking longer and longer. The method used in this research is the integration of the objective matrix method and the analytical hierarchy process. The objective matrix method was chosen because it has a measurement system concept that combines several workgroup performance criteria in a matrix. The analytical hierarchy process was used because, with this method, existing problems are solved in an organized way, which can be shown to make effective decisions about the problem. From the results of the research, it is hoped that the improvement of the strategy will increase productivity with the Objective Matrix (OMAX) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method used by the company to implement the method.

Abstract

Green Productivity (GP) is a strategy to increase production output while protecting the environment. The application of GP is a tool to evaluate the quality of the environment. For instance, an industry of crispy fried chicken drains the chicken's wash water, pours cooking oil, and slurries down the drain. It will diminish water quality. This research aims to assess Environment Performance Index (EPI) and prevent environmental damage by creating crispy chicken. The initial step must be identifying waste, creating a material balance diagram, calculating EPI and productivity, and proposing alternatives. This research indicates that pollution levels in this industry are extremely high. Environmental Service testing of production wastewater revealed BOD values of 769mg/l, COD values of 1699mg/l, TSS values of 2536mg/l, and an EPI Index of -31,05 exceed government standards. The result indicates that production enhancements must continue. In addition, this research generated some waste prevention alternatives, such as constructing a grease trap.

Abstract

Fishery products are one of the potential aquatic resources in Indonesia that have the potential to be developed, considering that Indonesia is rich in aquatic resources. One of the concepts that can be implemented in developing fishery products is the blue economy (BE) concept. This concept is appropriate because it focuses on growth, job creation, and environmentally friendly technological innovation. Meanwhile, food safety and halal are needed to meet the community's need for safe and halal food products. This study aims to identify the factors of strength, weakness, opportunity, threat and develop a strategy for developing fishery products by integrating the concepts of BE, food safety, and halal. on 11 respondents. The research was conducted using the SWOT method through two stages: the first stage to assess internal factors (IF) and external factors (EF). The second stage SO, WO, ST, and WT strategies. The results showed five aspects of strength ten aspects of weakness,  seven aspects of opportunities, and five aspects of threats. The data processing results with IF show that the strength value is 3.59 and the weakness is 3.39. As for the EF value, it is known that the opportunity value is 3.54, and the threat value is 3.58. In the SWOT matrix, it is known that fishery product business actors are in quadrant 2. Furthermore, strategies that can be used in the integration of BE, Food Safety, and Halal by utilizing a digital marketing system, complementing the legality of food safety and halal business actors, product diversification, use of environmentally friendly technology, and integrating BE in food safety and halal policies as well as internal audit instruments

Abstract

Abstract

PT Romi Violeta is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in the furniture manufacturing industry. The observation results show that there are discrepancies in the quantity and quality of raw materials originating from supplier shipments. On the other hand, companies are faced with determining supplier priorities to meet the needs of company orders. Based on this. Analysis is needed in supplier selection. Vendor Performance Indicator (VPI) is an approach that will measure problems related to standards, quality of raw materials, delivery time. To assist the Vendor Performance Indicator (VPI) approach in the ranking process in selecting the best supplier based on a series of calculation stages, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method will be used. The results of this study found that there are 10 Vendor Performance Indicators in supplier selection. The first priority in supplier selection is quality criteria with a weight of (0.422) and the lowest is flexibility with a weight value of (0.054), UD. Prajawari is the best supplier with a total weight value of (0.548), The second priority is UD. Randu Muria with a weight of (0.261), the last priority is UD. Trijaya with a weight of (0.191).
