Abstract

This study aims to analyze the benefits of soy milk in Taas Village, Tikala District, Manado City in March 2023. This research lasted for 3 months, from February 2023 to May 2023. The data used are primary data obtained using interview techniques. directly to soy milk business owners by using a list of questions as an aid in data collection, and secondary data obtained from literature studies in the form of literature, written sources or documents that are relevant to this research. Based on profit data for the processed soy milk home industry, this soy milk business incurs a total cost in a month or 26 working days of IDR 11,170,279 and an average of IDR 429,626 per day. The total revenue is IDR 23,400,000 with an average revenue divided by 26 working days, which is IDR 900,000 per day or 20 bottles of soy milk, and earns a profit of IDR 12,229,721 with an average profit for 3 (three) businesses of IDR 470,374. This shows that the soy milk home industry business in the Taas Village is feasible to maintain and develop.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the business profits of cut chrysanthemum traders in Kakaskasen Raya, North Tomohon District. The research was carried out for two months from April to May 2022. Sample collection was carried out by census method and 15 respondents were obtained. This research method uses descriptive analysis by calculating profits supported by primary and secondary data. The results of the research show that the income from all businesses of cut chrysanthemum traders per week in Kakaskasen Raya, North Tomohon District in one week of the trading process is IDR 3,533,333 and the average per trader is IDR 2,021,237. The efficiency of the chrysanthemum cut flower business obtained through R/C analysis produces a value greater than one, namely 1.75. This means that the cut chrysanthemum flower business in Kakaskasen Raya, North Tomohon District is relatively profitable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how social capital is in the Keong Mas farmer group and Pangan Jaya farmer group in Kunciango Village, Sangkub District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The research was conducted from November 2021 to January 2022. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews with 25 respondents from members of the Keong Mas farmer group with 13 respondents and Pangan Jaya farmer group with 12 respondents using a questionnaire and secondary data obtained from the village government office in Kunciango. The sampling method was carried out intentionally (purposive sampling). The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the elements of social capital, namely trust, network and norms, the two groups were very different in that the Keong Mas farmer group had very good social capital. So as to increase the existence and cohesiveness of group members. On the other hand, in the Pangan Jaya farmer group, the elements of social capital are rarely even reduced, so to increase their existence and cohesiveness, the Pangan Jaya farmer group needs to increase social capital such as the Keong Mas farmer group so that it will be better in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much time women work in horticultural farming (leeks) in Pinasungkulan Village, Modoinding Sub-District. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The sampling method was carried out by purposive sampling, namely the sample was taken intentionally. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and presented in tabular form. The results showed that women's working time in scallion horticulture farming in Pinasungkulan village was 339 hours. 12 hours were spent on tillage activities, 96 hours spent on planting activities, 84 hours spent on weeding activities, 30 hours spent on pest and disease control activities, 45 hours spent on fertilizing activities and 72 hours spent on harvesting activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the form of marketing channels and marketing margins of nutmeg in Belengang Village, Manganitu District, Sangihe Islands Regency. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Sampling of farmers is done by simple random sampling method and for traders as marketing institutions using the snowball sampling method. The number of farmer samples obtained were 30 farmers. The data is presented in tabular form and analyzed descriptively. The results show that there are 3 forms of marketing channels which are divided into 5 marketing channels: (1) marketing channel level 1: farmers - traders in Tanjung Lelepu district - exporters, (2) marketing channels at 2 levels: farmers - traders in the central district of Tahuna City – traders in the province of Manado City – exporters (b) farmers – traders in Pasar Tamako sub-district – traders in Tanjung Lelepu district – exporters, (3) 3 level marketing channels: (a) farmers – traders in Belengang village – collectors traders in the city center district Tahuna – traders in the province of Manado City – exporters (b) farmers – traders in Pasar Lebo sub-district – traders in the central district of Tahuna City – traders in the province of Manado City – exporters. The highest marketing margin is in marketing channel I with a total margin of Rp 40.800/Kg.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of cayenne pepper and tomato farming using mixed cropping patterns in Tumaratas II Village, Langowan Barat District, Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted from July to September 2023. The research location was Tumaratas II Village, West Langowan District, Minahasa Regency. The data collection method used in this research is primary data obtained using direct interview techniques with respondents, using a questionnaire as a tool in data collection, while secondary data is obtained from data that is already available from village documents, sub-district offices and other related sources for research purposes. The sampling method used purposive sampling method. The population studied in this study were farmers who grew mixed crops of cayenne pepper and tomatoes. The data analysis method was carried out using quantitative methods and the research results were presented in tabular form. Knowing the total revenue in one crop period is determined using the revenue and income formula. Based on the results of the research conducted, it is concluded that each farmer respondent has a different average so that the income earned is also very different. The total income received in mixed crop farming amounted to IDR395,355,682.28. The largest income in mixed crop farming is IDR77,521,932.00, while the smallest income is IDR3,276,800.00.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the income obtained from cayenne pepper farming activities in one planting season in Raanan Baru Village, West Motoling District, South Minahasa District. This research was conducted from July to September 2023. The data collection method used was primary and secondary data. Respondents in this study consisted of 10 people using purposive sampling. The data analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that each farmer respondent has a different income. The average income earned by respondents from cayenne pepper farming in Raanan Baru Village, West Motoling Sub-District, South Minahasa District is IDR20,660,303 per planting season is obtained from the difference between the average revenue of IDR29,950,000 and the average total cost of IDR10,619,697.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profit of the tofu and tempeh making business obtained by UD. Pembawa Berkah. The research was conducted from October to December 2023. The research was conducted at the place of business of making tofu and tempeh UD. Pembawa Berkah in South Tomohon City. Data collection methods were carried out by interviewing, recording, and documentation. The data used in this study are primary data obtained directly using interview techniques with the owner of the tofu and tempeh making business. Sampling in this study was done intentionally (purposive sampling). Data analysis used in this study used quantitative analysis, namely, by calculating the difference between revenue and costs used. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis method by presenting the result data in tabular form. The results showed the profit of tofu and tempeh making business at UD. Pembawa Berkah in South Tomohon City, for tofu amounting to IDR4,318,000 and for tempeh amounting to IDR9,181,000. R/C ratio for tofu and tempeh making business at UD. Pembawa Berkah in South Tomohon City, for tofu amounted to 1.25 and for tempeh amounted to 1.34. Based on these results, it shows that the R/C ratio value of the tofu and tempeh business is greater than 1, so that the tofu and tempeh business of UD. Pembawa Berkah in South Tomohon City is profitable and feasible to develop.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of gold mining activities on the social and economic aspects of the community in South Tanoyan Village. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from July to September 2023. The data used in this research is primary data. Primary data was obtained by direct interviews with sources. Sampling used the purposive sampling method. The criteria for the specified sample were the people of South Tanoyan Village who changed professions to become gold miners and carried out mining activities in the gold mining area, totaling 42 respondents. The research results show that gold mining activities have had a positive impact on the community's economy, as evidenced by increased income and ownership of adequate housing and transportation facilities. Gold mining activities also have a positive impact on increasing the workforce in South Tanoyan Village, where mining managed by the community requires quite a lot of workers to manage the mine. Apart from the positive impact of gold mining activities carried out by the community, it has a negative impact on the social community, this activity has a negative impact on agricultural land and the surrounding environment, the increase in illegal miners who carry out mining outside licensed areas and these activities result in accidents and fatalities, this occurs because of mining activities. Those managed by the community are still traditional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of customer satisfaction at Bungkoez Cafe Manado City seen from the aspects of product, price, promotion, place and service. This research was conducted for 4 months, from October 2023 to February 2024, at Bungkoez Cafe Manado City. The data collection method was collected using primary data obtained through direct observation in the field, by conducting observations and interviews with cafe owners, employees and consumers, as well as giving questionnaires to consumers to fill out. Secondary data is obtained from internet sites, books, articles, research journals and various other documents related to the research. The sampling method for Bungkoez Cafe consumers used accidental sampling method, the number of samples obtained was 45 consumers based on a time limit of 5 days consisting of 3 working days and 2 holidays with respondents around 7-9 people per day. The analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis, analyzing the answers obtained from the questionnaire, calculating the Likert Scale method, and analyzing the characteristics of each research variable using the index formula in each aspect of the marketing mix. The results showed that the results of the index number of customer satisfaction levels at Bungkoez Cafe Manado City in terms of product, price, location, promotion and service were at 80.86%, this shows that overall the manager of Bungkoez Cafe Manado City has reached the level of customer satisfaction even though there are still several indicators that need attention.
