Abstract

Various forms of crime and immoral acts in the handling of children and adolescents show that our students have not a good character. This indicates the need for character education that is appropriate for the child, which is not just knowledge and doctrine but rather reaches the emotional area. In the process of forming qualified human beings, character education is necessary for people not only to know virtue (knowing the good) but also feel (feeling the good), love (loving the good), want (desiring the good) and doing good (acting the good).

Abstract

Disiplin adalah sesuatu yang penting bagi siswa, namun masih banyak siswa Sekolah Menengah Wiyatama Bandar Lampung yang belum disiplin, hal ini terlihat pada siswa di sekolah, masih ada siswa yang menentang disiplin dan disiplin yang diperlukan di sekolah, termasuk yang datang ke sekolah 14 siswa, tidak disiplin dalam seragam 7 siswa, malas mengerjakan 4 siswa, kurang mampu belajar sendiri 6 siswa, malas mengerjakan tugas 5 siswa, sering selingkuh dengan pekerjaan 17 teman, mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah mengambil 7 siswa, karena disiplin siswa juga terkait dengan pemeliharaan diri pada siswa. Kesadaran diri dengan tujuan meningkatkan disiplin telah dilakukan oleh guru pengawas di Wiyatama Bandar Lampung Tengah, tetapi belum efektif.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari hubungan kesadaran siswa kedisiplinan di Sekolah Menengah Wiyatama Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian korelasional kuantitatif dengan menggunakan penelitian cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Wiyatama Bandar Lampung dengan jumlah siswa 120 orang dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, sampel yang diambil adalah 60 siswa kelas VIII, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap disiplin masih dimiliki oleh siswa SMP Wiyatama Bandar Lampung.Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian yang membuktikan agar siswa yang tergolong memiliki kesadaran diri memiliki persentase 41,7% dan terbuka 58,3%. Kemudian siswa yang disiplin memiliki persentase 78,3% dan 21,7% dari siswa yang tidak disiplin yang membuktikan disiplin siswa kelas di SMP Wiyatama Bandar Lampung (p-value = 0,001 yang berarti p <α). Peneliti dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan dan melatih kesadaran diri dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai disiplin, sehingga siswa dapat mengembangkan secara optimal dengan kesadaran diri.

Abstract

Keyakinan adalah kunci motivasi diri. Setiap orang akan membutuhkan kepercayaan diri setiap hari dalam berbagai cara, termasuk siswa dalam proses belajar di sekolah. Tingkat kepercayaan yang baik memudahkan untuk membuat keputusan dan memperlancar cara untuk membantu, membangun hubungan, dan membantu orang lain dalam membangun kesuksesan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari apakah konseling puisi sebagai media bimbingan dan konseling efektif dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan siswa kelas VII SMPN 24 Bandar Lampung pada tahun akademik 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design.Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII di SMPN 24 Bandar Lampung yang tidak muncul saat mengikuti lomba membaca puisi dan terbang komedi, 20 siswa, yang kemudian mengajukan pertanyaan tentang kepercayaan diri yang telah disetujui validitasnya. Secara keseluruhan, siswa-siswa ini termasuk dalam kategori kurang percaya diri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa ada peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa setelah meminta layanan konseling sebagai media bimbingan dan konseling dengan perolehan df = 18 kemudian dibandingkan dengan tabel 0,05, maka tabel = 2,101 dan nilai lebih besar dari tabel, (3,939 ≥ 2,101 ).Kelas menengah di SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung pada Tahun Akademik 2015/2016. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa ada peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa setelah meminta layanan konseling sebagai media bimbingan dan konseling dengan perolehan df = 18 kemudian dibandingkan dengan tabel 0,05, maka tabel = 2,101 dan nilai lebih besar dari tabel, (3,939 ≥ 2,101 ). Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know whether counseling service of assertive training group can handle negative self concept in students of SMP Negeri 12 Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is quasi experimental research with the design of One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The sample in the study amounted to 12 students class IX SMPN 12 Bandar Lampung which has a negative self concept. Technique of collecting data in this research using self concept scale, interview, observation, and documentation. The results of data analysis indicate that there is an improvement in handling the negative self-concept of learners before and after being given group counseling services with assertive training techniques on learners.

Abstract

This research method used correlation quantitative research using cross sectional approach. The study population is class VII Integral Minhajuth Thullab junior a number of 70 students then the simpling technique used is purposive sampling, the sample was selected as many as 24 students of class VIIB. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observations and interviews. The results showed 20 (83.3%) of the students had low social interaction and there were 18 students (75.1%) who had a closed attitude. While pserta students (16.7%) who have a high social interaction. The result of the analysis shows that there is a significant correlation between self-disclosure with social interaction of students of class VIIB. Suggestions asked by the researchers for the school is to facilitate the needs of learners and teachers counseling guidance to recommend space for conducting a counseling session in order to help learners. And especially for guidance and counseling teachers to be able to create counseling guidance services program, especially personal and social problems either by personal or group service.

Abstract

This study aims to review the moral development of children. In attitudes and moral behaviors implied values are held with regard to the value of something that is said to be good and right, proper, and should happen. The problem is why the attitude of moral development in children today is increasingly apprehensive. Mostly passed from generation to generation through a lifelong educational process. There are values that need to be maintained, some are assimilated toward progress or progressive change, but some are altered or shifted due to various factors that influence it. This model is expected to be one of our mechanisms as parents, teachers, and society needs to understand the development of moral attitudes in order to help learners develop a moral attitude that is desirable, educate learners to be good children, and be morally good and right.

Abstract

Social skills in children are the basis for living with others. Therefore, a model of social-based ecological support is needed to improve the social skills of children. With the developmental ecology, the various potentials that exist in children can be facilitated, because the child's developmental ecology is the whole environment that allows children to get the facilities and the right stimulus, so that there is a healthy learning process. The research was conducted at TK Ar Rahman Bandar Lampung, in July-December 2017. The target of this research is the students of group B TK Ar Rahman as the main object of research and teacher as secondary object or model user. this study the authors only limit in the first stage of the preliminary study in the form of analysis of the next needs to be done further research by developing learning model.

Abstract

The problem in the research is the low social skill of the learners. The problem in this research is "what is group guidance service with effective discussion technique to improve low social skill to class XII student of IPA 2, IPA 5 and IPS 1, IPS 2 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017?". The purpose of this research is to know that group counseling service with an effective discussion technique to improve low social skill in class XII student of IPA 2, IPA 5 and IPS 1, IPS 2 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017. The method used in this research is quasi experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design design. Subjects in the study amounted to 20 students class XII IPA and IPS SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung who have low social skills. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire, namely a questionnaire (scale of social skills). The results obtained in this study indicate that social skills can be improved using group counseling services with discussion techniques, it is shown from the results of data analysis using t-test, from the scores obtained experiment and control class that is tcount = 2.678> ttable = 2.101 then, Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means group guidance services with effective discussion techniques to improve low social skills. Brief conclusions in this study that group guidance services with effective discussion techniques to improve the social skills of student class XII SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017

Abstract

By using reality counseling techniques and previous research findings on sibling rivalry, individual counseling reality techniques aim to identify sibling rivalry in early childhood. One form of sibling rivalry is sibling rivalry, where brothers and sisters compete for parental attention and affection. Each child has a different personality and needs. In this literature review, the concepts of counseling and reality theory are used to discuss sibling rivalry behaviors that occur in early childhood. WDEP is a stage of reality counseling where counselors help counselees describe what they want, their desired behavior, self-evaluate, and plan their desired behavior. This can help reduce brother-sister rivalry behavior in early childhood. This study applied a qualitative descriptive approach. with a literature review. The results of the literature review showed that reality counseling can reduce brother-sister rivalry behavior in early childhood.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication skills play a crucial role in helping students navigate social interactions effectively. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between interpersonal communication skills and positive conformity among 7th-grade students at MTS Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Using a quantitative method with a correlational design, the study involved a sample of 41 students selected through probability sampling. The instruments included a scale for interpersonal communication skills and a positive conformity scale. The findings revealed that the average level of interpersonal communication skills among students was high, while their positive conformity levels ranged from moderate to high. Data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of R = 0.574 with a significance level of p < 0.00, indicating a significant positive relationship between interpersonal communication skills and positive conformity. In conclusion, the better a student's interpersonal communication skills, the higher their level of positive conformity.
