Abstract

The web-based Educational Development Contribution (SPP) Payment Administration Information System is a technology solution designed to make it easier to manage the administration of tuition fees within educational institutions. This system adopts a web-based approach to provide easy and transparent access for all stakeholders, including parents or guardians of students, administrative staff, and other related parties. The advantage of this system lies in its ability to carry out online payment transactions via a web platform, making it easier for people parents or guardians of students to pay tuition fees from anywhere and at any time. This system also provides automatic notifications to remind parents or guardians of students regarding payment due dates, reducing the risk of late payments. Data security is the main focus in designing this system. By using effective web security protocols, it is hoped that the implementation of this Web-Based Tuition Fee Administration Information System can bring significant benefits in increasing operational efficiency, transparency and ease of access in managing the administration of tuition fee payments in educational institutions.

Abstract

Programming algorithms are the basic principles when creating programs on a computer. Although closely related to mathematical calculations, real programming algorithms do not always involve complex calculations such as genetic algorithms which are usually used to solve mathematical problems. In analyzing an algorithm there are several parts that we can analyze, such as time speed, amount of cost, and amount of space. The 3 parts each use O (big O) notation. There is also Divided and Conquer. In this article the author uses a method, namely literature study. Below the author will present the basic steps of the programming algorithm

Abstract

Students’ understanding can be through various learning concepts. In this research, the author raises the title of studants’ understanding of programming algorithms. An algorithm is procedure that is arranged in writing and sequentially and when related to programming it means sequential procedures and a structure for creating a program. The method used I this research is literature study. The author collects data or reference sources regarding students’ understanding of programming algorithms. After collecting the data, the author will analyze the references that have been collected. Analysis of this literature study will be effective in increasing the author’s and reader’s understanding of programming algorithms

Abstract

In this increasingly sophisticated era, technology is also very often used in any situation. The use of various types of technology is growing so rapidly that learning activities in the field of technology have emerged which are usually called programming. Programming is also very interesting in the eyes of students because there are courses that are directly related to programming, namely Programming Algorithms. In programming, there are several types of languages ​​that are often used, for example the C and C++ programming languages. The C and C++ programming languages ​​are programming languages ​​that can simplify calculations in mathematics subjects, especially in the basic concepts of Arithmetic and Integers by using integer data types which contain numbers. So this literature concept study really makes it easier for programming users and readers to better understand the C and C++ programming languages ​​in calculating basic operations of Arithmetic Operators as well as calculations with simple codes on integers.

Abstract

In the modern age, technological advancements are undeniably progressing at a rapid pace. Throughout its rapid progress, technology has had an impact on various aspects of life, and education is one of the fields affected by it. In the context of technological advancement, both teachers and students acquire important skills known as computational thinking. Computational thinking refers to the ability to systematically solve problems using logical reasoning and step-by-step decision-making for problem-solving. Computational thinking has a direct relationship with students' mathematical learning, especially in the process of tackling mathematical problems. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of computational thinking on mathematics learning, with a specific focus on algorithm analysis in programming. The research methodology involves a comprehensive analysis of related literature to delve into the research topic, using a literature review method. The results of this research indicate that computational thinking can be measured using specific indicators that play a crucial role in mathematics learning. Students' ability to apply computational thinking techniques to solve mathematical problems can be determined based on indicators such as decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, algorithmic thinking, and generalization.

Abstract

Abstrak. SMP Swasta Ikal Medan masih menerapkan pendekatan konvensional dalam menerima peserta didik baru, dengan proses pengelolaan data yang dilakukan secara manual yakni menggunakan Microsoft Excel, yang terkadang memakan waktu lama dan kurang efisien. Dalam upaya meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengatasi kendala tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk manajemen proyek mengembangkan sistem penerimaan peserta didik baru. Sistem ini dirancang dengan mengikuti alur data yang sudah ada dalam sistem konvensional yang saat ini digunakan oleh sekolah. Metode pengumpulan data untuk pengembangan sistem ini dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi yang mengacu pada metode agile scrum. Pemanfaatan metode Agile Scrum efektif dalam merencanakan, merancang, mengembangkan dan mengelola proyek Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) SMP Swasta Ikal Medan. Perancangan dan implementasi mencapai target dari kebutuhan product backlog. Review Sprint menyatakan bahwa sebagian besar daftar product backlog telah berhasil dikerjakan tepat waktu. Namun, terdapat product backlog untuk fitur tambahan yang belum selesai karena masih berada dalam tahap pengerjaan. Prioritas untuk menyelesaikan fitur tambahan tersebut menjadi penting untuk memastikan keseluruhan backlog dapat diselesaikan dengan efisien dalam waktu yang ditetapkan. Abstract. SMP Swasta Ikal Medan still applies a conventional approach in accepting new students, with data management processes carried out manually using Microsoft Excel, which sometimes takes a long time and is less efficient. In an effort to improve efficiency and overcome these constraints, this research is conducted to project manage the development of a new student admission system. This system is designed to follow the existing data flow in the conventional system currently used by the school. Data collection methods for system development are conducted through interviews and observations that adhere to the Agile Scrum method. The utilization of Agile Scrum method is effective in planning, designing, developing, and managing the New Student Admission (PPDB) project at SMP Swasta Ikal Medan. The design and implementation have achieved the target from the product backlog requirements. Sprint reviews indicate that most of the product backlog items have been successfully completed on time. However, there are backlog items for additional features that are not yet completed as they are still in progress. Prioritizing the completion of these additional features is crucial to ensure that the entire backlog can be efficiently completed within the specified time frame.

Abstract

Usually thinking is often associated with mathematics. In the 21st century, technological developments are increasingly rapid so that computational thinking is very important for students and students. Computational thinking is thinking that involves understanding problems, reasoning, and also developing solutions automatically. Based on these computational thinking skills, it will help students and students solve problems mathematics by simplifying complex problems into simpler aspects and can also make it easier for students and students to understand and solve problems in mathematics problems that have been given previously. The aim of the research was to analyze the mathematical problem solving abilities of both students and students with computational thinking using the Literature Review Study method which focuses on solving students' and students' mathematical problems with computational thinking.

Abstract

Computational thinking is something that students must have. At this time, quite a few students have difficulty when they are given problems with high level thinking skills. For this reason, this research focuses on analyzing students' mathematical computational thinking on number pattern material. This research takes the type of literature study research by identifying and evaluating the results of previous research. In this research, 3 previous journals were identified. From the results of this research, it was found that students' mathematical computational thinking abilities were still relatively low. For this reason, in the future we should think about this computing being more applied.

Abstract

The increasing need for the use of technology in all sectors, especially in the education sector, is the formation of student-oriented learning. This provides new challenges in the 21st century which now require students to mature not only in science and simple thought processes but also the ability to create and develop what is needed in the 21st century. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology declares that participants Students must have Computational Skills (CT). To obtain problem-solving skills, students should emphasize computational learning in elementary schools so that students are able to face existing challenges and have computational skills from an early age. One technology that is suitable for application in elementary school learning is Scratch, a programming application designed specifically for beginners, especially children. The author's aim in conducting this research was to analyze the computational abilities of elementary school students using Scarch. The method the author uses is the Review Literature Study method, by reviewing previous journals related to the topic the author discusses.

Abstract

Computational thinking is a way of thinking that students must have. Currently, many students do not yet know how computing can be applied in mathematics learning. For this reason, this research focuses on analyzing students' computational thinking in mathematics learning. This research takes the type of literature study research by identifying and evaluating the results of previous research. Data analysis was carried out using an interactive model which uses 4 steps in the analysis stages, namely: 1) Data collection, 2) Data condensation, 3) Data presentation and 4) Data verification. This research identified 3 previous articles. From the results of this research, it was found that computational thinking in mathematics learning means that students can relate mathematical concepts to the real world, motivate learning and can link mathematics with everyday life.
