Abstract

Thinking is a way of thinking that involves discussing problems and solutions so that these solutions can be represented in a form that can be completed by someone in processing information. HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) is closely related to computational thinking skills. This research aims to analyze students’ computational thinking abilities using Geogebra mathematics software. This research is a systematic literature review, in this research the author analyzes and compares several articles obtained from the internet or digital databases, for example Semantic Scholar or Springer Link. The articles that have been found are then selected according to the title researched, so that we get several reference articles. The research results show that the use of Geogebra mathematics software in learning has a great influence on students’ computational thinking abilities. Geogebra is a media with a visual, analytical and numerical approach that can be solved using algorithms that require computational thinking skills to operate. There are five aspects of thinking skills that are in line with mathematics learning based on students’ reasoning abilities, problem solving abilities, critical thinking abilities, and mathematical representation abilities. These five aspects are: (1) Decomposition (decomposing complex problems into simple ones), (2) Pattern recognition (creating and identifying problem patterns), (3) Abstraction (finding concepts that you want to apply to problems), (4) Algorithms (developing solution or algorithm), and (5) Evaluation (analyzing each error).

Abstract

Currently, many learning media are used to develop and improve students' mathematical abilities, especially students' problem-solving abilities. One of the learning media that can be used in this case is the Geogebra application. The purpose of this study is to provide a description of the application of geogebra to students' mathematical problem solving abilities in mathematics learning. This study adopted from the Systematic Literature Review Method and selected 15 articles from google scolar data that are relevant to the research focus. The results of the study concluded that the application of geogebra had a positive, effective, and superior impact in improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the learning process.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to systematically find out the use of scratch arithmetic software against the computational thinking ability of elementary school students using literature study methods. Computational thinking is an important skill that students should develop from an early age to prepare them for the challenges of the 21st century. The method used in this study is a literature sales system to collect, analyze, and synthesize research findings on the use of scratch to improve computing thinking skills in elementary school students. Data sources come from Indonesian and English-language academic journals. Through exciting and fun visual programming activities, Scratch helps students improve their problem-solving skills, creativity, and collaborative skills. Scratch can also boost students’ interest in mathematics and computer science.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze meta data related to the use of the Mathway application by looking at research objectives that relate to the use of the Mathway application. This research uses the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. This systematic review identified 8 articles through the Google Scholar database published in 2018-2023. Data collection used the PRISMA procedure. The results of this research show that there are 3 research objectives related to the use of applications in mathematics learning, namely, 1) To find out how important the influence of technology is on mathematics learning for educators and students, 2) To find out how useful an application is in mathematics learning for educators and students, 2) To find out how useful an application is in mathematics learning for educators and students, and 3) To determine learning outcomes based on student interest and learning motivation.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is one of the lessons with abstract concepts that require students to solve problems on math problems in everyday life. In learning mathematics, educators can utilize applications or technology today as learning media such as mathway. Mathway application not only provides answers but provides a discussion of math problems in great detail. This study uses a literature review method that aims to investigate the effectiveness of using the Mathway application in learning mathematics. There are 6 national articles from google scholar that are relevant to the use of Mathway application in learning mathematics. The results of this study prove that the use of Mathway application is effective in learning mathematics because it can help students or teachers in understanding math learning. Mathway application is also effective on students' motivation, numeracy literacy, and critical thinking skills in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Along with the development of technology, application/software-based learning media is needed to help students understand mathematics material. This study aims to identify, review, and conclude related to the use of scratch application-based math learning media. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Using the Google Scholar database, articles were searched according to the topics studied in the 2019-2024 time span. The search was based on Garuda and Sinta 1-6. The results showed that the use of mathematics learning media based on scratch application optimizes students' problem solving and improves students' understanding of mathematics concepts, thus increasing their involvement and making learning more fun.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an efficient and reliable information system for the financial report sorting process at the Office of the Provincial Financial and Asset Management Agency of North Sumatra, using a comprehensive project management approach. The research methodology involves user needs analysis, designing a responsive web-based system, development using the latest technology, and thorough testing to ensure system security and performance. The expected outcome is improved efficiency and accuracy in financial report sorting, with the potential for synergistic integration with existing systems for better public financial management in the region.

Abstract

The Regional Asset Management Agency (BKAD) of North Sumatra Province still uses a manual file management system for financial reports, namely by using physical folders. This system is considered to be ineffective and inefficient, and has a high risk of file damage or loss. This can lead to delays in the preparation of financial reports. This study aims to design a computerized file management information system for financial reports. This system is expected to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and accountability of financial file management in BKAD. This system is designed using a structured database to store financial file information. Stakeholders can easily find the information they need through this system.

Abstract

For project management software to be efficient and increase productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, security, and functionality, it must be able to accommodate different user needs. It is important to analyze human-computer interactions when designing software to prevent problems that could harm users. To help IT consultants and client organizations in managing and supervising projects more effectively, this author focuses on developing a “Web-Based Collaborative Project Management Information System for Information Technology Project Management”. IT consultants can share data, manage teams, connect with clients, and manage projects, tasks, and milestones with this solution. Business clients have access to IT specialists, can provide project quotes, and can aggregate project status. The waterfall development technique used includes requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. User research shows this.

Abstract

Information systems technology is currently very necessary in the field of education, especially in utilizing computer laboratory assets. Unfortunately, computer laboratory asset data processing is still done manually using handwritten logbooks which have weaknesses in terms of time, efficiency and effectiveness in data processing. Therefore, a web-based information system project management system is a solution to overcome the problem of processing computer laboratory asset data. This system development approach uses the waterfall method which includes needs analysis, system design, implementation and testing of the system. The system design uses use case and activity diagrams which are the final product of this research.  With this system, it is hoped that data processing can be accurate, handle data leaks and work processes will also be faster and more timely. System implementation. The system implementation is expected to improve the ability to process asset data in the computer laboratory.
