Abstract

The utilization of Calc 3D Pro software in learning computational thinking among students has shown significant potential in improving the understanding of geometric and mathematical concepts. In this literature review, various studies are discussed that identify how the use of Calc 3D Pro can help students develop critical and analytical thinking skills through three-dimensional visualization. With the interactive features offered, students can more easily understand the relationship between mathematical objects and their applications in everyday life. In addition, research shows that the use of this software can also increase students' learning motivation and engagement in the learning process. Abstract

Low ICT literacy among students is one of the obstacles in learning mathematics, especially in understanding abstract concepts. The use of technology-based learning media is one solution to improve students' ICT literacy. This study aims to determine the use of Scratch.mit.edu as a learning medium in improving students' ICT literacy in mathematics learning. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. The subjects of this study consisted of 10 students. The results of the study showed that students' responses to the use of Scratch.mit.edu were in the positive category, with the majority of respondents giving answers Strongly Agree and Agree. Thus, Scratch.mit.edu can be used as an alternative interactive ICT-based learning media to support mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the use of Math Mechanixs software as a medium for learning mathematics to improve students' computational skills. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), with data sources obtained from various scientific databases such as Google Scholar, Garuda, DOAJ, and ResearchGate. The study was conducted by filtering articles based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, then analyzed to find patterns and effectiveness of the use of the software. The results of the review indicate that Math Mechanixs, with its 2D/3D graphic visualization features, equation editor, and scientific calculator, has great potential in helping students understand mathematical concepts more efficiently and interactively. In addition to increasing the speed and accuracy of calculations, this software also encourages the development of students' algorithmic and logical thinking skills. However, more empirical research is needed to strengthen these findings in the context of Indonesian education. This study recommends the integration of Math Mechanixs in mathematics learning with the support of teacher training and adequate supporting facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of using the Math Master application on students' computational thinking skills. Computational thinking includes algorithmic thinking, logic, and problem-solving—essential abilities in learning mathematics. This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a questionnaire consisting of 10 statements, involving 30 student respondents. The results indicate a strong and significant relationship between the use of Math Master and students' computational thinking abilities. With a coefficient of determination of 56%, the application contributes positively to enhancing students' problem-solving and logical thinking skills. Therefore, Math Master is considered an effective alternative learning medium to support mathematics instruction in higher education.

Abstract

This study is a mini observation of literature that aims to examine the use of Mathway software in supporting students’ computational thinking skills during mathematics learning. The research method is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), by reviewing a number of relevant articles using Google Scholar. The results of the study indicate that the use of Mathway can help students understand the steps to solve problems systematically, improve analytical skills, problem solving, and understanding of mathematical concepts. In addition, this application is also able to increase learning motivation because it presents an interactive and interesting process. However, the use of Mathway needs to be done in a balanced way so that students do not depend entirely on the application and continue to develop understanding through other learning resources. Therefore, Mathway can function as an effective tool in learning as an improvement in students’ computational thinking skills in this digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Math Editor software in developing students' computational thinking skills in mathematics learning. Computational thinking is an important skill that involves the process of solving problems logically, systematically, and efficiently. This study adopts a literature review approach by analyzing literature related to the use of Math Editor as a supporting medium for the mathematical thinking process. The results of the study indicate that the use of Math Editor not only makes it easier to compile mathematical expressions, but also strengthens analytical thinking skills, increases accuracy, and encourages students' independent reflection. In addition, the integration of Math Editor into a digital learning platform expands opportunities for the development of interactive and collaborative learning. Thus, this software has great potential in supporting technology-based mathematics learning.

Abstract

In the world of education today, computers have an important role as a learning medium for efficient learning. The GeoGebra application is an application used to visualize mathematical objects quickly, accurately and effectively so that it can shorten the time in solving mathematical problems. This research uses a literature study type of research by identifying and evaluating the results of previous research. In this research, 5 previous journals were identified. From the results of this research, it was found that the use of GeoGebra in learning was quite good. This is because GeoGebra has a positive influence that can support the learning carried out.

Abstract

Over time, the progress of science, technology and information is growing very rapidly. One of the things related to this problem is that the children of the nation must now master and study the developing science and technology. Utilizing science technology is now very important. The computer is one example of a technological tool that can be used. Regarding computers, we must first study in detail about programming algorithms that have applications and functions for us in education and everyday life. The purpose of writing this article is to examine the application and function of programming algorithms. Then the writing of this article use the literature study method and library research, namely by studying systematically and structured about programming algorithms. Data collection is done by online books or offline books, reputable scientific journals and sources from Google Scholar, Digital Library, website research and so on. The result of writing this article is that the application or presentation of programming algorithms can be seen in examples of application in mathematics. Writing an algorithm is not bound by a certain rule, but it must be clear what it means for each step of the algorithm. Many functions are very important in programming algorithms. The main function of programming algorithms is to solve a problem. This algorithm is an important thing in the activity of making a program.

Abstract

The Real Work Lecture (KKN) program is carried out with the aim of empowering the people of Dolat Rayat Village through hand soap production activities as an effort to improve health while providing sustainable economic added value. The main problem faced by the community is the low awareness of the importance of clean living behaviors and the limited alternative sources of income available in the surrounding environment. This activity includes health counseling on hand hygiene, training on making simple hand soap, packaging assistance, and creative and innovative product marketing strategies. KKN students also provide education about the importance of cleanliness to prevent infectious diseases in the household and school environment. The results of the activity show that the community not only understands the urgency of maintaining hand hygiene, but is also able to develop soap production skills as a sustainable household business opportunity. This program makes a dual contribution, namely increasing awareness of healthy living while opening up opportunities for local economic growth. Thus, this activity proves that the integration of health and the creative economy can be implemented effectively through community empowerment.
