Abstract

Education is a key aspect in the development of a country. Vocational High Schools (SMK) have an important role in providing quality vocational education to the younger generation. However, like many other educational institutions, SMKS Muhammadiyah Tumijajar is also faced with significant challenges, one of which is demographic challenges. Demographic challenges refer to changes in the demographic structure of a population, which can impact social institutions, including educational institutions . This research aims to understand the demographic challenges faced by SMKS Muhammadiyah Tumijajar, explore alternative solutions that can be implemented, and formulate the most suitable solution for this institution. The results of the research show that the demographic challenges faced by the Muhammadiyah Tumijajar Vocational School are a decrease in the number of students in several skill concentrations, especially in the field of culinary arts , migration and urbanization of the population, which causes people's desire to study outside areas that are considered better , as well as competition . with other educational institutions. To overcome these challenges, Muhammadiyah Tumijajar Vocational School needs to implement an effective and sustainable marketing strategy. This strategy must be able to increase student interest in choosing a concentration of expertise at SMKS Muhammadiyah Tumijajar , retain existing students , and increase the competitiveness of SMKS Muhammadiyah Tumijajar among other educational institutions. Based on the research results, an effective marketing strategy for Muhammadiyah Tumijajar Vocational School is improving the quality of education and learning , carrying out effective promotions and branding , and building collaboration with strategic partners. It is hoped that the implementation of this marketing strategy can help Muhammadiyah Tumijajar Vocational School to remain relevant and competitive in the future.

Abstract

Budaya organisasi merupakan satu kesatuan nilai-nilai, sistem, yang dianut dan dijadikan pedoman bersama baik individu maupun kelompok pada organisasi atau suatu lembaga. Organisasi atau kelompok akan mengalami perkembangan dan kemajuan, jika budaya organisasi dalam sebuah organisasi dan lembaga tersebut terorganisir serta berjalan dengan baik. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis menemukan tahap-tahap dalam konsep pengembangan budaya organisasi dan relevan untuk diterapkan dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam, yaitu: konsep budaya organisasi, fungsi dan pengembangan budaya organisasi, tipe budaya organisasi terdiri dari open and participative culture; dan closed and autocratic culture, pembentukan budaya organisasi, strategi memperkuat budaya organisasi terdiri dari (solidaritas mekanik dan solidaritas organik), serta strategi dalam mengembangkan budaya organisasi. Hal ini, sangat tepat untuk dijadikan fokus acuan bagi lembaga pendidikan islam khususnya dalam mencapai tujuan diinginkan. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Budaya Organisasi, Lembaga Pendidikan Islam

Abstract

This article discusses the main challenges and tasks of organizations in the contemporary era which is influenced by technological advances, globalization and shifting social values. Modern organizations are faced with rapid change that is driving the need to adapt, both in adopting digital technologies such as AI and IoT and in responding to increasingly high consumer expectations for sustainability and social responsibility. Key challenges include globalization, digital transformation, sustainability, diversity, as well as the need for innovation and resilience in the face of crises. Organizations need to develop innovation strategies, risk management, and build an inclusive work culture to remain relevant and competitive. Abstract

Crime is a crime that violates the laws of a country or violates the norms in force in society. Theft is a form of crime. The impact of theft is a feeling of insecurity, fear and insecurity. One model used to predict the number of theft cases is the time series model. A time series model is a set of values ​​observed in an activity, event, or event where data is then arranged in chronological order. Generally, in intervals of the same length. This study aims to model the data of criminal acts of motorcycle theft in North Lampung Police with Autoregressive (AR), Moving Average (MA), and Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) models. Furthermore, the best models will be used for forecasting for the next 6 months. The results of the AR model (1), AR (3) model, MA model (1), ARIMA (1,1,1), and ARIMA model (3,1,1). The MA model (1) has a significant parameter coefficient, fulfills diagnostic tests and has the smallest RMSE and AIC values ​​with an RMSE value of 6.5612926 and an AIC value of 394.82. The predicted results of the MA model (1) for the next 6 months tend to be horizontally different from the original data which tends to decrease.

Abstract

This research is conducted to investigate the effectiveness of using a Think-Talk-Write instructional Towards students' learning interest in the Islamic Religious Education subject at SMP Negeri 03 Bukit Kemuning, Lampung Utara. Employing a quantitative approach, this research utilizes an experimental method with a post-test only control group design. This Research Comprises two groups: a control class instructed through conventional teaching methods and an experimental class that implements The Think-Talk-Write model. The research instrument comprises a non-test questionnaire, with data collected through the distribution of validated and reliable item. The questionnaire was administered to students' learning following the instructional intervention. Data analysis Was carried out with an independent sample T-test to identify notable differences in students' learning interest among those presented to The Think-Talk-Write model and those who were not. The normality test results indicate that Information from both the experimental and control groups adheres to  normal distribution, as evidenced by a significance level of 0.60, which exceeds the threshold of 0.05. Additionally, homogeneity test confirms Indicating that the information exhibit homogeneity, Having a statistical significance value of 0.448, additionally surpassing 0.05. The outcomes of the T-test reveal a Sig. (2-Tailed) value of 0.000, which is significantly lower than 0.05. Based on these findings, it can be conclusively stated that the Think-Talk-Write instructional model proves to be more effective in fostering students’ learning interest compared to conventional teaching methodologies.

Abstract

The System Organization Theory emphasizes the importance of interactions between interdependent organizational elements to achieve common goals. Each component, such as human resources, technology, and work processes, must work synergistically to create organizational effectiveness. Meanwhile, the Contingency Theory highlights the need for strategy adjustments based on dynamic and complex environmental conditions, such as market changes and technological developments. This study aims to explore the impact of the System Organization Theory and Contingency on the management and leadership systems in organizations. The descriptive-analytical literature study method is used in the study. This study examines various theories, concepts, and previous findings related to the application of the System Organization Theory and Contingency. The results of the study indicate that the application of the System Organization Theory and Contingency can improve organizational effectiveness by creating a flexible, responsive, and adaptive structure. The application of the System Organization Theory and Contingency in Islamic education management strengthens the integration of spiritual and managerial values, creating a holistic educational model that is relevant to modern challenges. This study recommends the adoption of the System Organization Theory and Contingency as a strategic managerial approach to improve organizational performance and sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of human resource management theory and its implications for effective human resource management practices in modern organizations. In the era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, human resource management is no longer merely concerned with administrative aspects, but also involves more holistic strategies to achieve organizational goals. The method used in this research is a literature review, in which various literatures, including books, scientific articles, and conference papers, are analyzed using NVivo software to identify relevant trends and theories in human resource management. With NVivo, qualitative data analysis can be conducted systematically, allowing researchers to categorize and interpret information in greater depth. The results show that human resource management has undergone a significant transformation from a classic approach that emphasizes operational efficiency to a strategic approach that integrates human resources with the organization's vision and mission. The findings provide valuable insights for practitioners and academics on the importance of responsive and innovative human resource management. Thus, this research is expected to contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of human resource management and provide recommendations for best practices in human resource management.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of organizational, systems, and contingency theories in managing environmentally-based education at Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung, Indonesia. These theories provide complementary perspectives on understanding organizational dynamics and effective management strategies. Organizational theory focuses on human behavior within organizations and the influence of structure, leadership, and culture on overall performance. Systems theory highlights the interconnectivity of organizational components and their synergistic contributions to achieving collective goals. Contingency theory emphasizes adaptive management tailored to specific situational factors, such as size, complexity, technology, and environmental conditions. Using a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, data were gathered through document analysis, semi-structured interviews, and participant observation over six months. The findings indicate that integrating these three theories enhances institutional adaptability and responsiveness, ensuring sustainable educational practices aligned with environmental challenges. This integrative approach underscores the importance of tailoring management strategies to institutional and cultural contexts, contributing to both theoretical understanding and practical application in environmentally-based educational management. The study concludes that a holistic and adaptive management framework, combining organizational, systems, and contingency theories, is essential for fostering sustainable education and maintaining institutional effectiveness amidst dynamic global challenges.

Abstract

Minority is a concept that implies discrimination;  and it’s absolutely in contrast to the ideals of the nation that has been formulated in the 1945 Indonesian  Constitution.  As long as the use of this concept of minority is at the opposite of the majority, the problem of humanity will could never be resolved properly. Because, the term of minority, in any field, is very strongly colored of discriminatory meaning. Here, author argues that one of the platform to solve such problems of minorities is through understanding of the values developed in Islamic education. Islamic education  growing in the modern era is basically aimed at building a just, prosperous, and high dignity of people and society; and all human being are placed in the same position as the servant of Allah the almighty. So, any society with all their characters engage in the same position of a subject in education. Thus, human empowerment in the Islamic education paradigm has to be carry out in a fair way without any separation and discrimination between minority and majority.

Abstract

Globalization presents a paradox. On the one aspect shows the progress of science technology, but on the other aspect there are the threats  of a nation’s  morale. Main ideas in the  field of Islamic education in the era of globalization is the active participation  in organizing human needs in a comprehensive manner. In this context, dealing with competition Islamic education  are  locally, nationally,  and internationally.  Islamic education must still exist in yeast to give color and trend of globalization.  Therefore, Islamic education must be developed both theories, ideas and concrete action in the arena of globalization.  Global world may not  be denied, even just  to be faced with evidence of real performance. One of which is being used as Indonesian republican government policy is the implementation  of the curriculum in 2013. The curriculum is known as thematic integrative curriculum. However, among the thinkers and practitioners in education curriculum concept store is still a big question whether the issue will be resolved through the  Indonesian national  curriculum in 2013?  Answering this question needs a comprehensive review of the entire sub-system of education in Indonesia. Islamic education is an important part of a real existence in Indonesia from age to age. The existence of a real Islamic education is a real need to provide effect and active coloring toward the advancement of science and technology, as urged in the era of globalization.
