Abstract

ABSTRACT     The aims of this study is to understand the effect of probiotic and vitamin C addition in commercial feed on the growth of Depik fish (Rasbora tawarensis). This study used complete randomized design consisting 5 treatments and 3 repetitions. Treatment tested are addition of probiotic and vitamin C in feed namely A as control, B (probiotic 30 ml/g), C (Vitamin C 300 mg/l), D (probiotic 30 ml/kg in the morning + Vitamin C 300 mg/kg in the afternoon), E (Vitamin C 300 mg/kg in the morning + probiotic 30 ml/kg in the afternoon). ANOVA test result show that probiotic and vitamin c addition gave significant result againts absolute weight growth, absolute length growth and feed efficiency (p≤0.05) but did not significantly affect the specific growth rate (p≥0.05). This study shows that the highest absolute weight, absolute length and efficiency of Depik fish (Rasbora tawarensis) are found in treatment C (vitamin c 300 mg / l) with the highest absolute weight value of 0.61 grams, the highest absolute length of 3.96 cm.Keywords: Rasbora tawarensis, probiotics, vitamin C, growth  ABSTRAK     Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian probiotik dan vitamin C dalam pakan komersil terhadap pertumbuhan ikan depik (Rasbora tawarensis). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 5 perlakuan 3 kali pengulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah pemberian probiotk dan vitamin c pada pakan yaitu A (kontrol), B (probiotik 30 ml/g), C (vitamin c 300mg/l), D (Probiotik dosis 30 ml/kg (pagi) + vitamin C dosis 300 mg/kg (sore)), E (Vitamin C dosis 300 mg/kg (pagi) + probiotik dosis 30 ml/kg (sore)). Hasil uji ANNOVA menunjukkan bahwa penambahan probiotik dan vitamin c berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan berat mutlak, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak dan efisiensi pakan (p≤0,05) tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap laju pertumbuhan spesifik (p≥0,05). Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai pertumbuhan berat mutlak, panjang mutlak dan efisiensi pakan ikan depik (Rasbora tawarensis) tertinggi terdapat di perlakuan C (vitamin c 300 mg/l) dengan nilai berat mutlak tertinggi 0,61 gram, panjang mutlak tertinggi 3,96 cm. Kata kunci : ikan depik, probiotik, vitamin c, pertumbuhan

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of the present study was to analyze the effect of combination of horse manure fertilizers with fertilizer waste coffee leather towards growth and biomass production of Azolla microphylla as well as to analyze the protein contained in the A. microphylla. This research was conducted in the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Balai Benih Ikan Lukup Badak, Dinas Peternakan dan Perikanan, Kabupaten Aceh Tengah in February to March 2016. This research uses experimental methods of Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replicates. The medium used is the pool tarp sized 100x100x30 cm. The treatment is given is A: (horse manure 100%), B: (horse manure 75% + fertilizer waste coffee leather 25%), C: (horse manure 50% + fertilizer waste coffee leather 50%), D: (horse manure 25% + fertilizer waste coffee leather 75%), E: (fertilizer waste coffee leather 100%), with initial seed stocked A. microphylla 20 gram/m2 for 21 days. The results showed that the highest value on each parameter contained in the treatment A= (horse manure 100%), protein content of 26.74%. Anova test results showed that giving a combination of horse manure with fertilizer waste coffee leather real effect against doubling time, relative growth rate, extensive cover area, fresh biomass, biomass dry and density of A. microphylla (P 0.05). Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the granting of horse manure with fertilizer waste coffee leather can increase growth and biomass Azolla microphylla.Keywords: Azolla microphylla, Fertilizer, Growth, Biomass. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh kombinasi pupuk kotoran kuda dengan pupuk limbah kulit kopi terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi biomassa Azolla microphyllaserta untuk menganalisa kandungan protein yang terkandung dalam A. microphylla.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Balai Benih Ikan Lukup Badak, Dinas Peternakan dan Perikanan, Kabupaten Aceh Tengah pada bulan Februari hingga Maret 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Media yang digunakan adalah kolam terpal berukuran 100x100x30cm. Perlakuan diberikan berupa A:(Pupuk kotoran kuda 100%), B: (Pupuk kotoran kuda 75%+ pupuk limbah kulit kopi 25%), C:(Pupuk kotoran kuda 50% + pupuk limbah kulit kopi 50%), D:(Pupuk kotoran kuda 25% + pupuk limbah kulit kopi 75%), E:(Pupuk limbah kulit kopi 100%), dengan penebaran awal bibit A. microphylla20 gram/m2selama 21 hari. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai tertinggi pada setiap parameter terdapat pada perlakuan A:(Pupuk kotoran kuda 100%), kandungan protein 26.74%. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwapemberian kombinasi pupuk kotoran kuda dengan pupuk limbah kulit kopi berpengaruh nyata terhadap waktu penggandaan, laju pertumbuhan relatif, luas cover area, biomassa segar, biomassa kering dan kepadatan A. microphylla (P0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kotoran kuda dan pupuk limbah kulit kopi dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan biomassa Azolla microphylla.Kata kunci: Azolla microphylla, Pupuk, Pertumbuhan, Biomassa.

Abstract

The aimed of this research was to analyze the dosage of PMSG+AD hormone on spawning processofperes (Osteochilus kappeni). This research was conducted in BBI Lukup Badak, Aceh Tengah from July to September 2016. The method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 levels of treatment and three replications: 0 ml/kg, 0.2 ml/kg, 0,4ml/kg, and 0.6 ml/kg body weight. The result of ANOVA test showed that different dosage of PMSG+AD hormone gave significant effect on the weight of parents, relative weight, gonad maturation index, eggs diameter, relative eggs diameter, and fecundity. The result of Duncan test showed that the best dosage was found at 0,4 ml/kg, but this treatment was not significantly different with the dosage of 0,6 ml/kg.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dosis hormon PMSG+AD yang terbaik untuk pemijahan ikan peres(Osteochilus kappeni). Penelitian ini dilakukan di BBI Lukup Badak,  Aceh Tengah dari Juli sampai September 2016. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan yaitu: 0ml/kg, 0,2 ml/kg, 0,4 ml/kg, dan 0,6 ml/kg berat badan. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukan bahwa perlakuan dosis PMSG+AD yang berbeda pada ikan peres berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan bobot induk, pertambahan bobot relatif, indeks kematangan gonad, diameter telur diameter telur relatif, fekunditas. Sedangkan hasil uji lanjut Duncan menunjukan bahwa dosis terbaik dijumpai pada perlakuan 0,4 ml/kg berat badan. Namun, perlakuan ini tidak berbeda nyata dengan dosis 0,6 ml/kg.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the effectivity of Daphnia magna enriched Azolla microphylla fermentation with different dosages on the growth and survival rate of  tilapialarvae (Oreochromis niloticus). The research was conducted with experimental method using Completely Randomized Design with five treatments and three replication. The treatments with different dosages A. microphylla fermentation were A (control), B (1ml/L), C (2ml/L), D (3ml/L), and E (4ml/L). The result of ANOVA test showed that Daphnia magna enriched with Azolla microphylla has significant effect on the growth and survival rate of larvae tilapia (P0,05). The results shown that the highest growth was achieved by feeding with doses 4 ml/L A. microphylla fermentation (treatments E) in absolute length 0,22 cm, absolute weight 0,0201 gr, and specific growth rate 7,9161 %/day, while the lowest value was in treatment A without giving Azolla microphylla fermentation on Daphnia magna.The survival rate highest in treatment D (87.33%).The growth and survival rate of tilapia larvae (O. niloticus) were given A. microphylla fermentation was higher compared with control.              Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Daphnia magna  yang dipekaya Azolla microphylla fermentasi dengan dosis berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup larva ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah experimental dengan model Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non factorial, dengan 5 taraf perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan perbedaan dosis A. microphylla fermentasi yaitu perlakuan A (kontrol), B (1ml/L), C (2ml/L), D (3ml/L), dan E (4ml/L). Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukan bahwa pemberian Daphnia magna yang diperkaya dengan A. microphylla berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hisup larva ikan nila (P0,05). Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa nilai tertinggi berada pada pemberian dosis 4 ml/L A.microphylla fermentasi (perlakuan E)  untuk parameter pertumbuhan, dimana nilai panjang mutlak 0,22 cm, bobot mutlak 0,0201 gr, dan specific growth rate7,9161 %/hari. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup tertinggi pada perlakuan D yaitu 87,33 %.Pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup larva ikan nila (O. niloticus) yang diberikan A. microphylla fermentasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kontrol

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the daily growth rate and survival rate of Ili fish (Homaloptera sp.) fed different feeds. This study used a completely randomized design consisting of four treatments and three replications, namely Tubifex, earthworms, submerged commercial feed and floating commercial feed. The results showed that ili fish fed different feeds had a significant effect on daily growth rate and survival. The best daily growth rate values ​​were found in thetreatmentTubifex and floating commercial feed. The best survival value in the treatment of earthworms and floating commercial feed

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the effect of different feeding on the growth rate and mortality rate of Rotifers.. This study used a Completely Randomized Design consisting of four treatments and four replications. The treatment was determined based on different feeds namely Spirulina flour (3 g/l), yeast (0,03 g/l), soy fermentation and yeast fermentation (0,06 g/l). The results showed the highest growth rate was in spirulina treatment 3 g/l with an average growth rate of 0.82. The highest mortality rate is found in yeast fermentation treatment at a dose of 0,6 g/l with an average value of 0.86.

Abstract

Rasbora tawarensis is an endemic fish in Lake Laut Tawar, Central Aceh. The study aims to determine growth, mortality, and exploitation rate of R. tawarensis. The research was conducted in March-May 2010 at five stations representing all zones of Laut Tawar Lake. The fish were caught by experimental gillnets with the mesh size from 3/8, 5/9, 5/8, and 3/4 inches (stations I, II, III and IV) and trap (didisen) (Station V). The analysis which is used the length-weight relationship, condition factor, growth, mortality, and exploitation rate. The result showed that the growth pattern of R. tawarensis for both male and female at station I,II, and V were allometric negative; while at station III and IV were isometric. The highest condition factors of male found at station III and female at station V. The von Bertalanffy growth functions Lt = 130.2 (1 - e('16 (t +04). The total mortality rate of R. tawarensis was 11.038 year-1 with exploitation rate was 0.8. AbstrakRasbora tawarensis merupakan ikan endemik yang ditemukan di Danau Laut Tawar Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pertumbuhan, mortalitas dan laju eksploitasi ikan R. tawarensis. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Mei 2010 di lima stasiun yang mewakili seluruh zona di Danau Laut Tawar. Ikan ditangkap menggunakan jaring insang percobaan (stasiun I, II, III, dan IV) dan perangkap (didisen) (stasiun V). Ukuran mata jaring yang digunakan 3/8, 5/9, 5/8 dan 3/4 inci. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu hubungan panjang bobot, faktor kondisi, pendugaan parameter pertumbuhan, mortalitas dan laju eksploitasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan ikan R. tawarensis gabungan jantan dan betina bersifat allometrik negatif di stasiun I, II dan V pola, bersifat isometrik dan di stasiun III dan IV. Faktor kondisi tertinggi ikan jantan pada stasiun III dan betina pada stasiun V. Persamaan pertumbuhan von Bertalanffy gabungan jantan dan betina Lt=130,2 (1 - e(-1,6 (t +0,4). Laju mortalitas total (Z) ikan sebesar 11,038 tahun-1 dengan laju eksploitasi sebesar 0,8.

Abstract

Depik fish (Rasbora Tawarensis) is one of the endemic fish of Lake Laut Tawar which has high economic value. However, now Depik fish are in endangered status, so it is necessary to conserve Depik fish by one way, namely domestication. To carry out domestication, information is needed about proper feed management, one of which is feeding rate. This research was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments in this study included: feeding rates of 2% (A), 3% (B), 5 (C) and 7% (D). Parameters observed were absolute weight growth (PMB), absolute length growth (PPM), coefficient of diversity (KK) and water quality. The data analysis used was the F test and Duncan's test, while the water quality data were analyzed descriptively. Based on the two tests, it was found that the best feeding rate for the growth performance of Depik fish larvae was 5%. Water quality during the study was also considered normal for the life of Depik fish.

Abstract

Upaya untuk meningkatkan kematangan gonad induk ikan peres perlu adanya rangsangan baik melalui pakan maupun secara hormonal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemberian hormon Oodev dan tepung kunyit pada pakan terhadap percepatan kematangan gonad ikan peres, Osteochilus kappeni. Metode yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu P-1 (pakan komersil), P-2 (pakan komersil + 3% tepung kunyit dan penyuntikan 0,5 mL Oodev), P-3 (pakan komersil + 3% tepung kunyit dan penyuntikan 1 mL Oodev), P-4 (pakan komersil + 3% tepung kunyit). Induk ikan peres yang digunakan berjumlah 12 ekor, setiap perlakuan digunakan tiga induk ikan peres betina dengan bobot sekitar 118 g. Parameter yang diamati yaitu pertambahan bobot mutlak (PBM), indeks kematangan gonad (IKG), fekunditas, tingkat kematangan gonad (TGK), dan diameter telur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian tepung kunyit dalam pakan dan penyuntikan hormon Oodev berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap semua parameter pengamatan. Perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan P2, yaitu menghasilkan PBM sebesar 20,9 g; IKG sebesar 18,35%; fekunditas sebanyak 2.560 butir, dan diameter telur 1,10 mm. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kombinasi 0,5 mL hormon Oodev dan 3% tepung kunyit cukup untuk mempercepat kematangan gonad O. kappeni.Efforts to increase the gonad maturity of the peres broodfish require stimulation either through feed or hormonally. This study aimed to study the effects of feed supplemented with Oodev hormone and turmeric flour on accelerating gonadal maturity of Osteochilus kappeni. The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of four treatments and three replications. The treatment in this study were P-1 (commercial feed), P-2 (commercial feed+ 3% turmeric powder and injection 0.5 ml Oodev), P-3 (commercial feed + 3% turmeric flour and injection 1 mL Oodev), P-4 (commercial feed + 3% turmeric powder). Twelve adult fish were used in this study which each treatment was used three female fish weighted around 118 g. The parameters observed were absolute weight gain, gonad maturity index, fecundity, gonad maturity level, and egg diameter. The results showed that the administration of Oodev hormone and turmeric powder in feed had a significant effect on the measured parameters. The absolute weight showed the highest results in P2 treatment of 20.7 g. P2 treatment also had the highest gonad maturity index of 18.35%; best fecundity of up to 2,560 eggs; and the largest egg diameter of 1.10 mm. This study concludes that the combination of Oodev hormones and tumeric flour is sufficient to accelerate gonadal maturity of O. kappeni.

Abstract

This study was aimed to examine the different natural feeds on the maturnity of freshwater crayfish. The study was conducted on November 20th - January 21th 2021 in the UPTD BBI Lukup Badak, Takengon, Aceh Tengah. Test fish used is seed of cherax quadricarinatus measuring 52-75 g. Methods used in this study was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments in this study were P1 (Tubifex), P2 (505 tubifex, 255 carrots, and 25% sweet potatoes), P3 (50% tubifex, 25% bean sprouts, and 25% sweet potatoes), and P4 (50% tubifex, 25% papaya, and 25% sweet potatoes). Seeds of fish was put in a container maintenance with 42 liters of water volume and density of 1 tails per container. Frequency of feeding was 3 times a day at 08.00 am, 16.00 pm and 20.00 pm. The results showed that different natural feeding teratments had a very significant effect on the absolute weight and gonad maturity indexs (IKG).Keywords: Absolute weight; Cherax quadricarinatus; Gonad; Natural feed.
