Abstract

Lobster air tawar (Cherax quadricarinatus) mempunyai prospek yang cerah dalam sektor perikanan. Selain mudah dibudidayakan hewan ini juga tidak mudah terserang penyakit yang bersifat omnivore dan memiliki daya bertelur tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pemberian pakan tambahan yang berbeda terhadap sintasan dan pertumbuhan lobster ait tawar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode RAL dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Adapun perlakuan yang akan digunakan adalah P1 (pemberian pakan pellet); P2 (pemberian pakan pellet + kangkung air); P3 (pemberian pakan pellet + kubis); P4 (pemberian pakan pellet + buncis). Parameter yang di amati yaitu Pertumbuhan Bobot Mutlak, Pertumbuhan Panjang Mutlak, Tingkat Kelangsuangan Hidup, Laju Pertumbuhan Harian, Rasio Konversi Pakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pemberian pakan tambahan berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter pertambahan bobot mutlak (P<0.05), terhadap parameter pertumbuhan panjang mutlak(P>0.05) terhadap parameter tingkat kelangsungan hidup(P>0.05), terhadap laju pertumbuhan harian(P<0.05) dan persentasi pertumbuhan berat. Nilai pertambahan Panjang Mutlak terbaik di perlakuan P3 yaitu (1.55 g).

Abstract

Pernikahan dini masih menjadi permasalahan serius di Indonesia, yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor di era society 5.0. Perspektif remaja sangat dibutuhkan dalam menentukan permasalahan ini, namun informasi masih terbatas didapatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perspektif remaja dalam pengambilan keputusan pernikahan dini dan dinamika yang dialami setelah menikah. Penelitian dilakukan di kecamatan daerah Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam. Pemilihan partisipan dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dan data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis Colaizzi. Penelitian menemukan tiga tema utama: (1) Keputusan menikah dipengaruhi cinta dan lingkungan, (2) Realita pernikahan dini tidak selaras, dan (3) Harapan dan kebutuhan dalam pernikahan dini. Remaja menikah karena faktor emosional, tekanan pasangan, lingkungan, dan pengaruh media sosial. Namun, setelah menikah remaja menghadapi tantangan seperti konflik keluarga, keterbatasan ekonomi, dan terhentinya pendidikan. Meskipun demikian, muncul harapan untuk membentuk keluarga mandiri dan kehidupan yang lebih baik. Pernikahan dini dilakukan tanpa kesiapan yang matang. Diperlukan edukasi reproduksi, penguatan peran keluarga, serta kebijakan yang mendukung remaja agar dapat membuat keputusan hidup secara bijak di era digital.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Nyeri menstruasi (dismenore) merupakan keluhan umum pada remaja putri yang dapat mengganggu aktivitas belajar, istirahat, dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Pengelolaan nyeri menstruasi secara mandiri melalui kompres hangat dan pijat perut (abdominal massage) terbukti efektif dan aman, namun remaja kurang paham dalam melakukannya. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) adalah mewujudkan SDG’s 3, yaitu menjamin kesehatan dan kesejahteraan remaja putri. Kegiatan dilakukan pada perempuan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri di Pekanbaru dengan metode partisipatif meliputi: a) Pendidikan kesehatan dengan metode ceramah interaktif dan diskusi; b) Pendampingan dalam praktik langsung dalam penatalaksanaan kompres hangat dan pijat perut untuk mengurangi nyeri menstruasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan rata-rata nilai pengetahuan yang signifikan dari sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan sebesar 76,00 menjadi 92,00. Selama pelaksanaan, terlihat peserta antusias, aktif bertanya, berdiskusi, dan mempraktikkan teknik yang diajarkan dengan tepat dan benar. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi kesehatan berbasis partisipatif dan praktik langsung efektif meningkatkan pemahaman remaja tentang dismenore serta mendorong penerapan strategi pengelolaan nyeri menstruasi secara mandiri. Kata Kunci: Dismenore, Kompres Hangat, Nyeri Menstruasi, Pendidikan Kesehatan, Pijat Perut.  ABSTRACT Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) is a common complaint among adolescent girls that can disrupt learning activities, rest, and daily life. Self-management of menstrual pain through warm compresses and abdominal massage has been proven to be effective and safe; however, many adolescents lack adequate knowledge on how to perform these techniques properly. This Community Service Programme (PKM) aims to contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, which focuses on ensuring the health and well-being of adolescent girls. The programme was conducted among female students at a public junior high school in Pekanbaru using a participatory approach, including: (a) health education through interactive lectures and discussions; and (b) hands-on assistance in practising warm compress application and abdominal massage for menstrual pain relief. The results showed a significant increase in the average knowledge score, from 76.00 before the health education intervention to 92.00 afterwards. During implementation, participants demonstrated high enthusiasm, actively asked questions and engaged in discussions, and correctly performed the taught techniques. This programme demonstrates that participatory health education combined with practical training is effective in improving adolescents’ understanding of dysmenorrhea and encouraging the independent application of menstrual pain management strategies. Keywords: Dysmenorrhea, Warm Compress, Menstrual Pain, Health Education, Abdominal Massage.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively describe the process and outcomes of greenhouse renovation through teaching assistance (KKN) activities to improve the quality of agricultural educational facilities in schools and communities. The activity began with an observation of the greenhouse's initial condition, which revealed various problems, including a rusty, weak frame, torn UV plastic that did not adequately protect the plants, a malfunctioning irrigation system, and a declining growing medium. Based on these findings, collaborative improvement steps were taken involving students, teachers, and the local community. Improvement activities included strengthening and repairing the greenhouse structure, replacing the UV plastic, revitalizing the drip irrigation system to improve efficiency, and updating the growing medium with more productive organic materials. In addition, the greenhouse was also integrated as a project-based learning medium to improve students' scientific literacy, practical skills, and environmental awareness. The results showed that this improvement program was successful not only in improving the greenhouse's physical condition but also in significantly increasing plant productivity. Furthermore, this activity also enriched the students' learning experience through hands-on practice and strengthened active community participation in the management of agricultural facilities. Overall, this program can create a more effective, contextual, and sustainable learning environment at the school and village levels and deliver positive socio-economic impacts.

Abstract

Although the reconstruction of Islamic education components has received attention in several studies, research that specifically addresses the adaptation of Islamic education to the digital era in school contexts remains limited. This study aimed to explore the transformation of educational objectives, teacher competencies, student responses, teaching materials, instructional methods, and evaluation of Islamic education in responding to digital challenges. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving 15 participants comprising six Islamic Religious Education teachers, two principals or vice-principals in charge of curriculum, and seven students selected through purposive sampling based on their experience with digital-based learning. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and documentation of teaching materials and assessment results, and were then analysed thematically to identify patterns, themes, and insights related to the adaptation of Islamic education. The findings showed that the objectives of Islamic education seek to balance technological mastery with the internalisation of moral values; teacher competencies developed through digital literacy and pedagogical creativity; teaching materials and instructional methods became more interactive and project-based; and educational evaluation integrated cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in a holistic manner. Anomalous findings indicated persisting limitations in digital literacy, social media distractions, and unequal access to technology among some students. These findings contribute to the development of digitally based adaptive Islamic education theory and broaden understanding of holistic instructional practices. The study underscores the importance of teacher competence and student readiness, and offers practical implications for schools in designing teacher development programmes, interactive teaching materials, and holistic technology-based evaluations, while also opening avenues for further research on the role of digital infrastructure, parental support, and school policies in enhancing the effectiveness of digital Islamic education.

Abstract

Although holistic learning in Islamic education has received attention in several previous studies, research that specifically examines its implementation in strengthening students’ spiritual and moral dimensions in school contexts remains relatively limited. This study aimed to explore in depth how the integration of holistic learning in Islamic education contributes to the reinforcement of students’ spirituality and the habituation of moral behaviour. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving Islamic education teachers and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations of the learning process, and document analysis, and were then analysed using thematic analysis to identify key patterns and themes. The findings showed that the integration of holistic learning was manifested in four main themes, namely the integration of spiritual values within the learning process, the habituation of moral conduct through learning activities, the dual role of teachers as facilitators and role models, and students’ generally positive responses to meaningful and contextual learning. These findings affirm that a holistic approach in Islamic education is more capable of comprehensively strengthening students’ spiritual awareness and moral behaviour than approaches that are solely cognitively oriented. Theoretically, this study reinforces the paradigm of holistic Islamic education, while practically it provides direction for schools and educators in designing Islamic education learning that is adaptive to the challenges of the digital era. The study also opens avenues for further research on the development of holistic learning models and the longitudinal measurement of their impact.

Abstract

The postpartum period is a critical phase that requires optimal care to prevent maternal and neonatal complications. However, postpartum mothers living in the wetland area of Sri Meranti Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, still have limited knowledge and skills regarding postpartum care and proper breastfeeding techniques. This community service program aimed to analyze the effectiveness of community empowerment-based postpartum care education in improving the knowledge and breastfeeding skills of postpartum mothers in wetland areas. The program employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach involving 30 postpartum mothers in the working area of the Umban Sari Public Health Center from July to September 2024. The intervention was conducted through health education, demonstrations, and re-demonstrations using booklets and educational videos. Evaluation was performed using a knowledge questionnaire and the LATCH Assessment Tool. Data were analyzed using a paired t-test with a 95% confidence interval. The results demonstrated a significant increase in postpartum mothers’ knowledge scores from 70.3 ± 8.5 to 89.7 ± 5.4 after the intervention (p=0.001). In addition, the total LATCH score increased from 5.4 ± 1.8 to 9.0 ± 0.9 after the intervention. All LATCH components showed improvement in breastfeeding technique ability  among postpartum mothers. Educational interventions grounded in community empowerment have the potential to enhance postpartum mothers’ knowledge and breastfeeding skills. Such interventions may be considered routine promotive strategies within maternal health services in wetland communities.Keywords: Community empowerment, health education, postpartum care, postpartum mothers, wetlands area.

Abstract

Perawatan masa nifas dalam budaya Melayu merupakan praktik tradisional yang masih dipertahankan hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam pengalaman ibu dalam menjalani perawatan masa nifas budaya Melayu di wilayah Kepulauan Riau. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian sebanyak 15 ibu yang telah menjalani masa nifas berbasis budaya Melayu, dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis tematik Colaizzi. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi empat tema utama: (1) Pemulihan Holistik melalui Perawatan Tradisional, (2) Mendapatkan Dukungan Sosial dan Kultural yang Positif, (3) Tantangan dan Strategi Adaptasi Perawatan Tradisional, dan (4) Pandangan dan Keberlanjutan Perawatan Masa Nifas Tradisional. Perawatan tradisional berlangsung selama 44 hari meliputi penggunaan param, pilis, bengkungan, konsumsi jamu, serta pantangan makanan dan aktivitas. Sistem dukungan yang kuat dari keluarga, masyarakat, dukun beranak, dan tenaga kesehatan menjadi kunci keberhasilan pelaksanaan perawatan. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti ketidaknyamanan fisik dan psikologis, ibu mampu mengembangkan strategi adaptasi. Perawatan masa nifas tradisional dipandang sebagai warisan budaya yang perlu dilestarikan dan dapat diintegrasikan dengan perawatan medis modern untuk menciptakan model perawatan yang lebih komprehensif.
