Abstract

This research aimed to produce a product based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) biology questions with the Quizizz application for the human digestive system. This type of research was development research that used the 4D Thiagarajan method. The stages of this research method include define, design Develop, and Disseminate. The development stage contains validation and revision. Validation carried out included validation of design experts (by 2 lecturers), and an expert validation of HOTS questions (by 1 lecturer and 1 teacher). Validation was carried out to see the feasibility of the product before being tested on students in small group trials. The results of the study stated that the development of Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS)-based biology questions with the Quizizz application for the human digestive system material was declared eligible to be used with a very good category based on the design display was 86%, the substantial component of the HOTS question content 91.35% and student response questionnaires 90.5%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research development is to produce teaching material products in the form of interactive inquiry-based e-modules guided by addictive substances and psychotropic substances to assist the learning process. This type of research uses a 4-D development model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, development, and disseminate, the research is carried out only until the development stage. The interactive e-module is accessed via a google drive link. The development of interactive e-modules produced through the validation stages, namely validation of material experts, validation of design experts, and student response trials. Validation from material experts gets a percentage of 95%, for design experts scores a percentage of 95%, and student response trials are 93%. Based on the percentage obtained, this learning media is included in the "Very Good" category so that it is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Developement of this teaching material produced products in the form of biology teaching materials in the form of learning comics, and comics as learning media based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). This environmental pollution material was expected to help in the learning process and can motivate students to be more active in studying environmental pollution materials. Based on interviews with class X teachers of SMA Negeri 5 Metro regarding the learning media used. The class X teacher said that the problems experienced in the learning process were that there were still many students who got scores below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) of 60. The method used in development was the Research and Development (R&D) method with the model development with a 4-D model, there were“four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The data from the material expert validation obtained a percentage value”of 84% with the "Very Good" criteria. Validation of the learning media obtained a percentage value of 93% with the "Very Good" criteria, in the small group trial the percentage value was 92.8% with the "Very Good" criteria. The results of students working on questions obtained a percentage value of 91%. Based on these criteria, it can be stated that the product developed was suitable for use.

Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to produce a product in the form of a discovery learning-based module with appropriate QR Code-assisted character values ​​so that it can be used by students and increase knowledge. This type of development research using 4D models initiated by Thiagarajan, Sammel and Sammel (1974). This 4D development model has four stages, namely define, design,develop and desseminate, but in development research it only reaches the develop stage. The product that has been developed by this researcher has been validated by design experts, getting a percentage of 93% with the "very good" criteria, material expert validation getting a presentation of 89% with the "very good" criteria, and small group trials getting a percentage of 82% with the "very good" criteria. ". Based on the results of expert validation and small group testing, the product that has been developed in the form of a module is suitable for use by students during the learning process

Abstract

The aims of this research was to develop on Encyclopedia of Spermatophyta Plants in Green Open Spaces in Metro City. Prodct testing for the benefit of the winder community the feasibility of the encyclopedia is tested by a validatorwho is lecturer at the University of Muhammadiyah Metro. The validation test was carried out by material expert and design expert, and a small group test was carried out. The material expert validation test got a result of 82,7% which means “very feasible” to use. Desaign expert validation test got 90% result which means “very feasible” to use. Small group test got a result 88,9% which means “very feasible” to use. The result of the development of the Spermatophyta plant encyclopedia are very suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aimed to (1) Know the effect of a mixture of waste tea grounds, coffee grounds and pineapple peel on the growth of water spinach (Ipomoea reptans Poir) with simple hydroponic media, (2) Know what dose of a mixture of waste tea grounds, coffee grounds and pineapple peel that gives the best effect on the growth of water spinach (Ipomoea reptans Poir) with simple hydroponic media, (3) Know the results of the study can be used as biology teaching material in the form of student worksheet. The type of research used was quantitative using experimental methods and non-probability sampling techniques. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), applying 4 treatments and 3 replications with P0 (250 ml water), P1 (250 ml POC), P2 (200 ml POC+50 ml water), P3 (150 ml POC+ 100 ml water). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there was an increase in height and number of leaf blades on water spinach (Ipomoea reptans Poir). With the research results, the best plant height was at P3= 20.33 cm and for the best leaf blade results it was at P3= 14 strands. The results of this study can be used as biology teaching material in the form of of student worksheet on growth and development material for SMA class XII. The results of the validation of learning resources by material experts, design experts and linguists concluded that of student worksheet was feasible to use as a learning resource with an average score of 100% material experts, 80% design experts and 90% linguists

Abstract

Abstract Producing E-LKPD Biology Class IX KD 3.7 by using the idea of biotechnology and its function in human life is the aim of the development research. Research & Development (R&D) or development research is the type of research that is employed. The 10-stage Sugiyono model which includes (1) potential and issues, (2) data gathering, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product trials, (7) product revision, (8) usage trials, (9) product revision, and (10) mass production is the model that is employed. Up until the seventh step, which is product revision, this research was conducted. Validators in the domains of language, design, and material conduct product validation. The product will then be tested on SMP Negeri 10 Metro class IX students during the 2023–2024 academic year when it has been deemed practical. A questionnaire was utilized as a data gathering tool to learn about the responses from the students. The validation analysis's findings fall into the "Appropriate" category based on an average of the material, design, and language domains. According to product testing findings, the "Decent" category had an average student response value of 3.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a product in the form of Digital Handout of biodiversity material that is valid and easy to understand by students and educate students to maintain biodiversity. This research is development in nature using the ADDIE development method which consists of five stages, namely 1) Analysis, in this stage the main activity is to analyze the need for the development of teaching materials in learning objectives. 2) Design, the design stage includes several learning media development plans. 3) Development, at this stage the development of Handout is carried out in accordance with the design that has been made. 4) Implementation, at this fourth stage a real test is carried out limited to the School, with a small group test of 15 students from a total of 36 students taken randomly. 5) Evaluations, Evaluation is the process of giving value to the development of learning materials. The results of the assessment are used to provide feedback on the development of teaching materials. The products that have been developed have been validated by design experts and material experts, the results obtained from material experts are 94% with "very feasible" criteria, design experts are 96% with "very feasible" criteria. And the results of the trial to students amounted to 93% with the criteria "Very feasible".

Abstract

The aims of this research are 1) to determine the effect of vermicompost media on the growth and development of Perionyx excavatus worms, 2) to determine the best dose of vermicompost media for the growth and development of Perionyx excavatus worms and 3) to determine whether or not the results of this research are suitable for use as a learning resource in the form of an E-Module in growth and development material. This type of research is quantitative using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 20 samples. This study contained 1 control and 3 treatments with 5 replications. Control (100% media variation) and 3 treatments providing different doses of vermicompost media, P1 (75% vermicompost + 25% media variation), P2 (25% vermicompost + 75% media variation), P3 (100% vermicompost). The parameters observed in this study were the growth in weight of the worms and the number of worm cocoons. Data were analyzed using the Liliefors test, Hypothesis test and continued with the Honestly Significant Difference (BNJ) test. Based on the research results, there was an effect of dosing vermicompost media on the weight growth of worms. The results of the hypothesis test showed Fcalculated > Fcritical daf. While on the parameter of the number of cocoons, the dosage of vermicompost media did not give a significant effect. The results of the hypothesis test showed Fcalculated < Fcritical. Further BNJ testing showed that the P1 treatment gave the best effect on the growth and development of Perionyx excavatus worms. Based on the validation analysis of learning resources, this research has the potential to become a learning resource in the form of an E-module on Growth and Development material.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to determine the effect of Vermiwash on the growth of Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) plants, 2) to determine the Vermiwash dose that had the best effect on the growth of Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) plants, and 3) to determine if the research results could be utilizied as a reference for biology learning resouces in the form of Students Worksheets (LKPD). This research was experimental, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Was analyzed using ANOVA. The study consisted of 6 replicates with 5 Vermiwash dose treatments, namely 0 mL,100 mL, 200 mL, 300 mL, and 400 mL. Observed parameters included stem height, number of leaves, and fresh weight of Pakcoy plants. Treatment 4 with 400mL was the best dose for the growth and development of Pakcoy plants. The development of the research results into biology learning resources in the form of 5M-based LKPD received a material expert validation score of 97% and a design expert validation score of 84%, both categorizing them as very valid. The conclusion of this research is that Vermiwash administration affects the growth and development of stem height, number of leaves, and fresh weight of Pakcoy plants, and the LKPD received validation from material experts and design experts.
