Abstract

The transmission of Covid 19 urges all countries in the world to carry out universal transformations in various fields including education. This study aims to describe the design and challenges in hybrid learning. This research is a literature study research that is analyzing various relevant literatures with the research focus. The results of the study illustrate that hybrid learning is carried out by utilizing various applications such as LMS and google classroom coupled with limited face-to-face learning. Some of the challenges in implementing hybrid learning include being faced by lecturers and students, for lecturers to add to their work such as digitizing learning materials and disseminating them through various social media features that are accessible to students, and developing learning tools. Another challenge is the difficulty in motivating students. The challenges for students include low learning motivation, low internet access availability, and not being able to work in groups because of the rules for crowding and wearing masks and maintaining health protocols.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the feasibility of developing software-based virtual learning to improve the quality of learning during a pandemic. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis begins with formulating problems, formulating hypotheses, developing measuring devices, collecting data and only then analyzing data. The results of this study in the validation of research instruments with the components of substance, construction, practicality, and linguistic assessment as a whole were obtained at 92.86%. The results of the analysis of the teacher's questionnaire on Basic Competency, content, suitability of student characteristics, and learning activities as a whole obtained a percentage of 91.00%. The results of the analysis of student questionnaires on aspects of objectives, content, learning activities, overall evaluation obtained a percentage of 93.93%. besides that there was an increase in learning outcomes of 53.37%, from the pretest and posttest data. The conclusion in this study is that from the observations and analyzes that have been carried out, it shows that the use of software-based distance learning can be carried out according to the pattern of basic competencies and material according to the conditions of students. In addition, the quality of student learning can be improved by using software-based distancing learning. Keywords: PHET, PHET software, Islamic Religious Education, pandemic era. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan pengembangan pembelajaran virtual berbasis software untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di masa pandemi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data dimulai dengan merumuskan masalah, merumuskan hipotesis, mengembangkan alat ukur, mengumpulkan data dan baru kemudian menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian ini pada validasi instrumen penelitian dengan komponen substansi, konstruksi, kepraktisan, dan penilaian kebahasaan secara keseluruhan diperoleh sebesar 92,86%. Hasil analisis angket guru terhadap Kompetensi Dasar, isi, kesesuaian karakteristik siswa, dan kegiatan pembelajaran secara keseluruhan diperoleh persentase sebesar 91,00%. Hasil analisis angket siswa pada aspek tujuan, isi, kegiatan pembelajaran, evaluasi keseluruhan diperoleh persentase sebesar 93,93%. selain itu terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 53,37%, dari data pretest dan posttest. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah dari observasi dan analisis yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis software dapat terlaksana sesuai dengan pola KD dan materi sesuai dengan kondisi peserta didik. Selain itu, kualitas pembelajaran siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis perangkat lunak.

Abstract

This study focuses to express the good social values of Sasak in two traditions that look strongly and conflict namely the tradition of mbait abducting female bride and the playing game peresean performed by striking and fending each other in the Sasak culture. The results of this qualitative study indicate that the mbait tradition which contains conflict elements which is the values of independence, seriousness, struggle, and responsibility shown by a bridegroom. The mbait tradition is followed by other customary processions such as besejati which indicate communication and reconciliation efforts as well as social harmony between two families who will marry their children. A game that looks hard also contains good social values such as courage, accuracy, honesty, sportsmanship, and brotherhood which has marked by post-battle peace. This article explicitly says that cultural rituals that contain elements of violence and conflict and do not always have negative connotations.

Abstract

Physics is a subject that has a relatively small number of enthusiasts—caused by the factors that influence student achievement in learning physics, which are considered less attractive or do not significantly impact learning outcomes. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model on student performance in improving psychomotor aspects and student learning outcomes in physics lessons. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with the sampling technique using simple random sampling. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire filled out by the teacher during teaching and learning activities in class. The results showed that based on the theory put forward by Arikunto, the resulting percentage value was 90.4% with a good predicate based on its effectiveness in improving student performance in learning. The conclusion from this research is the high level of student performance in the learning process. Because students are required to always be active in working together to solve and make solutions to problems set by the teacher, this research is considered suitable and recommended to be applied to further studies that have constraints on students' performance and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is based on the demands of students to be able to improve their critical thinking skills in the era of industrial disruption. So this study aims to analyze the characteristics of HOTS-based question development and analyze the steps of lecturers in the preparation of HOTS-based questions in learning and learning courses at FTK UIN Mataram. . By type, it belongs to the category of field research in a qualitative approach. The authors collect data by interviewing and documenting. From the results of the study, it was found that the characteristics of the questions developed include the appropriate cognitive level, namely analyzing, evaluating and creating, as well as using stimulus and response. Then the steps taken by lecturers in the study and learning courses to develop HOTS questions have met the standard procedure for making questions. A series of stages in the procedure for compiling HOTS questions that have been made by lecturers studying and learning FTK UIN Mataram are:: 1) Analyze basic competencies as basic HOTS questions. 2) Designing the Question grid. 3) Presenting interesting but contextual stumulus., finally 4) Compiling questions based on a grid that has been arranged.

Abstract

This research reveals the reality of early childhood education in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara as an area prone to radicalism, especially to see the policies and implementation of the counter-radicalization agenda in early childhood, including portraits of communication between stakeholders in tackling the spread of radicalism in Bima. This qualitative research took place from August 2018 to July 2019. The results showed that early childhood education institutions in Bima had not maximally used counter-radicalization content as teaching material even though they lived in the areas prone to radicalism. Communication between education stakeholders such as parents, educators, and the government has also not been effective. This is reflected in the lack of collective counter-radicalization action, so that preventive steps to counter radicalism seem minimal. The lack of coordination and communication for education against radicalization counter-narratives at the early childhood level has made hopes for an inclusive generation in Bima to be born.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills using the project-based learning model in social science learning in elementary schools. A project-based learning model directs students to complete it directly and places responsibility on students during the learning process by generating critical ideas. It is studied using classroom action research with two cycles, each consisting of two meetings with four stages. Continuous, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collected includes teacher activities, student activities, and data that can provide conclusions about critical thinking skills. The research results show that project-based learning can improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in elementary schools; this is proven by calculating the first cycle classical completeness score of 69%. Moreover, there was an increase of 27.59% to 97%. This success was supported by changes and improvements to the learning process following the reflection results in the previous cycle.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of the At-Tibyan method in learning to read the Qur'an for Santri at the Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPQ; Qur'an Education Centre) Abnaul Qur'an Mataram. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is done non-statistically in accordance with descriptive data that is not expressed in the form of numbers. The results showed that: (1) The application of the At-Tibyan method is carried out in five ways, namely: talaqqi, tahajji, use of Arabic, direct teaching of tajweed law, and provision of additional material. (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the At-Tibyan method include: a) Supporting factors, namely the At-Tibyan method has a guidebook and curriculum as a teaching guide. b) Inhibiting factors include the difficulty of adjusting the At-Tibyan method to the concept of learning students, the lack of understanding of the ustadzah related to the At-Tibyan method, and the lack of cooperation between ustadzah and santri guardians. Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi metode At-Tibyan dalam pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur'an bagi Santri di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPQ) Abnaul Qur'an Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara non statistik sesuai dengan data deskriptif yang tidak diekspresikan dalam bentuk angka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penerapan metode At-Tibyan dilakukan melalui lima cara, yaitu: talaqqi, tahajji, penggunaan bahasa Arab, pengajaran hukum tajwid secara langsung, dan penyediaan materi tambahan. (2) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam implementasi metode At-Tibyan mencakup: a) Faktor pendukung, yaitu metode At-Tibyan memiliki buku panduan dan kurikulum sebagai pedoman pengajaran. b) Faktor penghambat meliputi kesulitan penyesuaian metode At-Tibyan dengan konsep belajar santri, kurangnya pemahaman dari para ustadzah terkait metode At-Tibyan, dan kurangnya kerjasama antara ustadzah dengan wali santri.

Abstract

The transformation of the movement in the new order period resulted the diverse variants and contestations in various lines of national and state life. These entities take on different roles in the several scopes such as political, social, cultural organizations and many other focuses in the field of education. This research uses a qualitative research approach carried out in Mataram City, Indonesia. The results of the study illustrate that Mataram City as a cultural locomotive with cultural, ethnic and tribal variations that is able to practice religious rituals and ideologies assisted by various elements of fertility dimension including the existence of various mass organizations such as Nahdlatul Ulama, Muhammadiyah and Salafi which exist in Mataram City. The growing form of religious ideology is encompassed in the family of ahlussunnah waljamaah, between non-sunni subordinates and the same religious Minhaj. The formulation of contestation competes for the space of identity and the pluralization of sunni. In practice, the form of contestation is carried out by strengthening the community of Educational Institutions, prominence of symbols, mass media, as well as spreading the halaqoh and recitation.

Abstract

Traditional games of the Sasak tribe are an integral part of local wisdom and the culture of the Lombok community. However, currently, interest in these traditional games has declined, especially among children. This research aims to unearth local wisdom through the values education embedded in traditional Sasak tribal games. The research method involves introducing traditional games to children through direct play activities, enabling them to understand the meaning and values inherent in each game. Data collection techniques include participatory observation and interviews with traditional players and local community figures. The collected data are analyzed using a qualitative approach, detailing the moral, cultural, and social values found in traditional games. The results show that traditional games of the Sasak tribe encompass values of local wisdom, including team solidarity, precision, and a sense of responsibility. The implications of this research underscore the importance of preserving and integrating traditional games into values education as a means to conserve local culture and shape the character of children by appreciating the noble values of local traditions. This research is expected to make a positive contribution to the preservation of local wisdom and values education amid the ongoing tide of globalization.
