Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang buku digital, serta meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan buku digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Pelatihan buku digital telah menjadi sebuah kegiatan yang penting dalam konteks pengembangan pendidikan modern. Dalam era digital saat ini, buku digital telah menjadi alat pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. Peserta kegiatan PkM ini adalah guru-guru SMK Avicenna Mandiri yang berjumlah 14 orang. Kegiatan PkM dilakukan dalam bentuk penyajian materi oleh narasumber dan pendampingan teknis bagi para peserta. Hasil kegiatan PkM ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman tentang konsep buku digital, keterampilan dalam menggunakan aplikasi penerbitan buku digital, dan peningkatan kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan buku digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, pelatihan buku digital memberikan landasan yang kuat bagi peserta untuk mengadopsi dan menerapkan buku digital dalam praktik pengajaran.

Abstract

Effective speaking skills are a crucial aspect in the world of education, especially for teachers as learning facilitators. However, there is a problem in terms of the lack of speaking skills that can attract the attention of the public and students in the class. This Community Service aims to overcome this problem by organizing formal emcee training for teachers. The solving method is carried out through intensive training that focuses on developing persuasive speaking skills, setting clear presentation structures, and increasing confidence when speaking in public. The training involves the active participation of teachers who wish to improve their speaking skills. The results of the service activities showed a significant increase in the speaking skills of the teachers after attending the training. They are able to captivate the public's attention with an attractive presentation style, deliver messages more effectively, and maintain positive interactions with listeners. In addition, the teachers also experienced an increase in self-confidence when appearing in public. In conclusion, formal presenter training is an effective method of improving speaking skills for teachers. Public speaking skills help create a more interactive learning environment and inspire students. It is hoped that the development of speaking skills will have a positive impact on the learning process and enhance the school's reputation in the educational community.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of netizens' hate speech on the @esteh_indonesia Twitter account which can be categorized as a violation of the law. This research is included in the qualitative research used to describe netizens' hate speech in @esteh_indonesia Twitter comments using forensic linguistic reviews. The methods and techniques used are the listening method and the note-taking technique. Listening is done by observing the hate speech of netizens on the Twitter account @esteh_indonesia. After that, the data that has been selected purposively is copied and then analyzed by collecting data that has been recorded in one folder, classifying and analyzing the data based on the form of hate speech with the guidelines of the Police circular regarding hate speech on social media. The results of the study prove that there are five forms of netizens' hate speech in the Twitter comments of the @esteh.indonesia account: 1) insults, 2) defamation, 3) blasphemy, 4) provoking, and 5) hoax. The results of this study can increase public awareness about the existence of hate speech on social media platforms, especially Twitter. This can encourage people to be more careful in interacting online.

Abstract

Peningkatan literasi digital guru merupakan aspek penting dalam menghadapi era digital yang terus berkembang. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital guru di Tangerang Selatan melalui dua kegiatan, yaitu pelatihan buku digital untuk guru di sekolah menengah pertama dan  pelatihan read aloud untuk guru di sekolah dasar. Kedua kegiatan ini terdiri atas tiga Langkah utama, yaitu persiapan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Peserta pelatihan buku digital terdiri atas 37 orang guru SMPN di Kota Tangerang Selatan dan peserta pelatihan read aloud sebanyak 46 orang guru SDN di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Tahapan evaluasi kegiatan Pk Mini dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner berupa google form pada semua peserta. Hasil evaluasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru merasa puas dengan pelatihan yang telah mereka terima, dan mereka menginginkan pelatihan lainnya yang dapat diikuti secara daring. Kegiatan PKM ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital guru-guru SDN dan SMPN di Kota Tangerang Selatan.

Abstract

The opening of a new study program at an institution must meet several aspects, including feasibility studies. The feasibility study can provide an overview of the prospects of the Study Program that will be opened. FKIP Universitas Terbuka (UT) has several potentials that can be considered to open a new Master of Education study program Indonesian. This research aims to produce an academic paper in the form of recommendations to UT leaders about whether or not the plan to open the Master of Education Study Program Indonesian be opened based on a) The response of prospective Master students to the plan to open a PJJ-based Indonesian Education Study Program; b) The competence of Master of Education graduates Indonesian needed by the community; c) Response from education experts (Association/reviwer Ban PT) to the feasibility of organizing a PJJ-based Indonesian Education S2 study program. The research method uses a descriptive design by conducting a survey in the form of questionnaire distribution, based on region. The results of the questionnaire data collection were analyzed using quantitative methods, then the FGD (interview) data was analyzed qualitatively using SWOT analysis. The research population of (1) undergraduate students of UT Indonesian Education who have programmed the TAP (Final Project Program) course, (2) Participants. Sampling using Proportional Area Random Sampling technique. The results showed that UT has the potential to open a Master of Education Indonesian study program. However, it is still necessary to develop and discuss in detail the curriculum that will be offered to prospective students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) menemukan bentuk honorifik yang digunakan oleh siswa. 2) menemukan bentuk tindak tutur yang menyertai honorifks; 3) merumuskan pola-pola komunikasi interpersonal yang terbentuk dari tindak tutur direktif yang disertai dengan honorifiks; serta 4) menjelaskan pergeseran budaya dari penggunaan honorifiks dari tindak tutur direktif yang digunakan siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mengkajian fenomena kebahasaan yang terkait dengan penggunaan honorifik dalam tindak tutur direktif. Metode dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu teknik simak bebas libat cakap, teknik catat, dan teknik rekam. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dari enam sekolah menengah atas atau yang sederajat di Kota Makassar. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan induktif berdasarkan pada content analysis dengan langkah-langkah analisis meliputi analisis domain, taxonomic, componential analysis, dan cultural values. Hasil penelitian membuktikan; 1) bentuk-bentuk honorifik yang digunakan siswa di kota Makassar, yaitu bentuk honorifik penamaaan diri, kata ganti, istilah kekerabatan, menyapa orang kedua sebagai orang ketiga, dan penggunaan kata milik bersama; 2) bentuk penggunaan honorifik dalam tindak direktif siswa di kota Makassar, yaitu memerintah, memohon, menasehati, dan merekomendasikan; 3) dalam kaitannya dengan penggunaan honorifks dalam tindak tutur direktif, pola komunikasi siswa Kota Makassar dibedakan menjadi tiga subkatagori yaitu pola komunikasi interpersonal berdasarkan tingkatan usia, jenis kelamin, dan strata sosial; 4) kesantunan honorifiks yang menyertai tuturan direktif mengalami pergeseran budaya. Penelitian ini menawarkan kebaruan temuan berupa ragam pola komunikasi yang terbentuk dari honorifiks yang menyertai tindak tutur direktif serta temuan pergeseran nilai-nilai kesantunan berbahasa dari penggunaan honorifiks dalam tuturan direktif siswa sebagaimana kebudayaan masyarakat Kota Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the values of character education contained in Kaba Urang Tanjuang Karang in the Dendang Pauah performance. The method used in this study is a descriptive-analytical method, this method aims to describe and analyze the pattern of character education in Kaba Urang Tanjuang Karang at the Dendang Pauah performance. Data collection is carried out by recording. The data of this study is the result of transcription of the Kaba Urang Tanjuang Karang manuscript. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are nine values of character education contained in Kaba Urang Tanjung Karang, namely religious, discipline, hard work, democratic, love of the homeland, respect for achievements, social care, peace-loving, and responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the violation of moral values in marriage commitments in the films Wedding Agreement the Series and Melur for Firdaus. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using content analysis. This research data is in the form of character dialogues in the films Wedding Agreement the Series and Melur for Firdaus. The results of this study show the phenomenon of moral values contained in the two films in the form of violations of marriage commitments depicted through the characterization of the characters Bian and Tari in the film Wedding Agreement the Series (Indonesia) with the characters Firdaus and Melur in the film Melur for Firdaus (Malaysia). Based on the analysis of the data it can be concluded that; 1) both films contain elements of violation of moral values, namely violation of marriage commitment in the form of the character's inability to uphold the promise of marriage 2) violation of norms that occurs due to the absence of emotional closeness between the characters as husband and wife, so that there is no passion to give or get physical and sexual satisfaction in the marriage which is reflected in the plot of the film
