Abstract

Afeksi memiliki peran penting dalam kualitas hubungan sosial dan kesejahteraan psikologis. Namun, afeksi overpersonal bisa menyebabkan perasaan berlebihan dan ketergantungan emosional pada orang lain, mengganggu hidup individu.  Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) dalam mengatasi afeksi overpersonal melalui konseling individual. REBT mengidentifikasi dan mengubah pola pikir tidak sehat yang mendasari masalah emosional.  Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen pre-test dan post-test dengan kelompok kontrol. Individu dengan tingkat afeksi overpersonal yang signifikan dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (terapi REBT) dan kelompok kontrol (perawatan standar).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelompok terapi REBT mengalami perubahan signifikan dalam afeksi overpersonal. Partisipan juga melaporkan perubahan positif dalam sikap emosional dan pola pikir yang lebih adaptif.  Kesimpulannya, pendekatan REBT dalam konseling individual efektif mengurangi afeksi overpersonal dan membantu individu mengatasi distorsi emosional. Penelitian ini memberikan panduan praktisi konseling dalam mengatasi masalah afeksi overpersonal pada individu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya peserta didik pada keluarga broken home yang memperlihatkan perilaku afeksi overpersonal seperti berkasih sayang, bercinta (berpacaran) di luar batas kewajaran di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan konseling model Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) dalam mengentaskan perilaku afeksi overpersonal berbasis curahan kasih sayang pada peserta didik broken home. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan jenis eksperimen one group pre test – post test design.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua peserta didik yang mengalami broken home di SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang yang berjumlah 35 orang peserta didik, dan sampelnya adalah peserta didik yang mengalami perilaku afeksi overpersonal pada keluarga broken home dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan teknik analisis datanya dengan menggunkan persentase dengan cara membandingkah hasil pre - test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat afeksi overpersonal berbasis curahan kasih sayang pada peserta didik yang mengalami broken home sebelum diberikan perlakuan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 100% dan tingkat afeksi overpersonal berbasis curahan kasih sayang pada peserta didik broken home setelah diberikan perlakuan berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentasenya 60% dan kategori sangat rendah dengan persentasenya 40%. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa penerapan konseling model REBT dalam mengentaskan afeksi overpersonal berbasis curahan kasih sayang pada anak broken home baik untuk digunakan para Guru BK.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of students who had low discipline while in the school environment. This research aims to find out: 1) Describe an overview of the disciplinary conditions of students using self-management techniques at SMPN 5 Kota Solok. 2) Designing a behavioral counseling model with self-management techniques to help develop student discipline. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) research. The population of this study was class VIII students with a total of 220 students. The number of samples in this study was 32 students. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling, and the instrument used was a questionnaire.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students who were late for class, students who missed school, students who did not comply with school rules, students who disturbed their friends while studying, and students who did not complete their assignments. The objectives of this research are: 1). Describe the disciplinary behavior of students at SMA Negeri 4 West Sumatra (sports talent). 2). The design of the information service model is based on identifying the disciplinary behavior of FASE F class students at SMAN West Sumatra (sports talent.) This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) type of research. The population of this study was FASE F class students with a total of 108 students. The number of samples in this study was 72 students. The sampling technique in this research used purp total sampling, and the instrument used was a questionnaire. Based on the results of this research, it is revealed that: 1) Describe the condition of student discipline with information services at SMAN 4 West Sumatra (sports talent) is in the very good category. 2) The program design that has been validated is in the "Sufficiently Acceptable" category. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended that BK teachers be able to implement an information service model design based on student behavior identification that has been updated according to the validator's recommendations.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan kompleks dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda di era globalisasi. Tuntutan dunia kerja yang dinamis menuntut sumber daya manusia yang tidak hanya unggul dalam akademik, tetapi juga memiliki pemahaman mendalam tentang minat, bakat, dan aspirasi karir. Identifikasi minat dan bakat sejak dini menjadi krusial dalam memaksimalkan potensi peserta didik. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menjadi urgen karena kebutuhan untuk membantu peserta didik SMP N 1 VII Koto Sungai Sarik dalam mengenali potensi diri mereka dan merencanakan masa depan yang lebih baik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang minat dan bakat, (2) memberikan informasi tentang berbagai peluang karir, (3) membantu peserta didik menyusun action plant untuk mencapai tujuan karir mereka, (4) meningkatkan kapasitas guru BK dalam memberikan layanan konseling karir, dan (5) meningkatkan keterlibatan orang tua dalam mendukung perencanaan karir anak. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya, kurangnya informasi karir, peran guru BK yang belum optimal, motivasi dan kesadaran peserta didik, serta kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan meliputi orientasi kegiatan PKM, presentasi tentang minat dan bakat, pengisian instrumen identifikasi minat dan bakat, serta sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan bekal yang cukup bagi peserta didik untuk meraih kesuksesan di bidang yang mereka minati, serta meningkatkan kapasitas guru BK dan keterlibatan orang tua dalam mendukung perencanaan karir anak.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that there were students who lacked a sense of empathy, such as some students ignoring their surroundings, speaking sarcastically to their friends, and being less polite to their teachers. This research aims to: 1) Identify the behavior of students who lack empathy using a Transactional Analysis approach with the empty chair technique. 2) Design a counseling service model for Transactional Analysis counseling services using the empty chair technique to alleviate empathy problems (Study of Students in Class XI ULP at SMK Negeri 6 Padang City).This research uses research and development (R&D) research. The population of this study were students in class XI ULP SMK Negeri 6 Padang City with a total of 30 students. The number of samples in this study was 30 students. The sampling technique in this research used total sampling, and the instrument used was a questionnaire using percentage data analysis. Based on the research results, it can be seen from: 1) Identifying feelings of empathy in students using the Transactional Analysis approach with the empty chair technique in the "Quite High" category with a percentage of 50%. 2) Design a Transactional Analysis counseling service model using the empty chair technique in alleviating empathy problems for students in class Based on the results of this research, it is recommended that guidance and counseling teachers apply this model design to alleviate empathy problems in students by using transactional analysis with the empty chair technique.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the impact of distance learning experienced by teachers and students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses qualitative research methods, where in collecting information data with interview techniques, in order to find data on relevant matters. The subjects of this study were students of SDN 11 Teluk Betung Pesisir Selatan. The results showed that the distance learning process did not run optimally and there were several obstacles for teachers and students in distance learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in overcoming social relationship problems of students in class XI of SMA N Padang, which is motivated by the lack of optimal handling of these problems. The focus of the research includes the introduction of problematic students, understanding the types of problems, the implementation of assistance, and evaluation. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study involved 7 informants: 1 BK coordinator, 1 BK teacher, 3 students, 1 homeroom teacher, and 1 deputy principal. Data is collected through interviews and processed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that BK teachers have made various efforts, including: 1) recognizing students with problems through observation and sociometry; 2) understand the types of problems such as social isolation and verbal bullying; 3) provide classical, group, and individual guidance services; and 4) conduct evaluations by building effective communication, practicing positive interactions, providing motivation to respect each other, and forming peer counselors. However, there are still students who are differentiated from friends and isolated. It is recommended that BK teachers conduct evaluations through individual counseling to practice positive interactions without discrimination, as well as homeroom teachers better understand and provide solutions to students' social relationship problems.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the emotional problems experienced by students with academic achievements in interacting with peers at SMAN 2 Pasaman. This problem is important to examine because difficulties in understanding oneself can affect the quality of social relationships and communication between students. This study aims to uncover the profile of emotional problems of academically outstanding students in the context of social interaction. The method used was qualitative descriptive by involving two key informants and four additional informants, namely a homeroom teacher, a counseling guidance teacher, and two peers (male and female). Data was collected through interviews, then analyzed by data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that some students have difficulty understanding themselves, especially in managing emotions and openness to sharing feelings. Negative emotions tend to be suppressed because of the difference between the feelings felt and the attitudes displayed. This condition creates communication barriers and potential conflicts with peers. Although academic achievement can increase confidence and courage to interact, emotional control is still an aspect that needs to be strengthened. Therefore, it is recommended that schools provide emotional skills development programs through training, group counseling, and activities that encourage openness, so that students' social interaction and self-understanding can be more optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the collaboration between Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers and subject teachers in facilitating the adjustment of children with special needs, particularly children with intellectual disabilities. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews and observations, and data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that children with intellectual disabilities experience various obstacles in the learning process, such as difficulty maintaining concentration, being easily distracted, and requiring intensive guidance. In writing skills, children are unable to write neatly and organized, characterized by inconsistent letterforms and slow writing. Children also show hesitation in answering questions and delays in understanding teacher instructions. From a social perspective, children with intellectual disabilities experience obstacles in communication and interaction, although they still show a desire to socialize and participate in activities with their peers. Collaboration between BK teachers and subject teachers is carried out through services such as praise, educational games, and decision-making guidance. This collaboration has been proven to help increase children's independence, self-confidence, self-acceptance, and involvement in learning and social activities at school. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kolaborasi antara guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dan guru mata pelajaran dalam memfasilitasi penyesuaian diri anak berkebutuhan khusus, khususnya anak tunagrahita. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi, serta analisis data melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak tunagrahita mengalami berbagai hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran, seperti kesulitan mempertahankan konsentrasi, mudah terdistraksi, dan membutuhkan pendampingan intensif. Dalam keterampilan menulis, anak belum mampu menulis secara rapi dan terorganisasi, ditandai oleh bentuk huruf yang tidak konsisten dan proses menulis yang lambat. Anak juga menunjukkan keraguan dalam menjawab pertanyaan serta keterlambatan memahami instruksi guru. Dari aspek sosial, anak tunagrahita mengalami hambatan dalam berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi, meskipun masih menunjukkan keinginan untuk bersosialisasi dan mengikuti kegiatan bersama teman sebaya. Kolaborasi antara guru BK dan guru mata pelajaran dilakukan melalui layanan berupa pemberian pujian, permainan edukatif, dan bimbingan pengambilan keputusan. Kolaborasi ini terbukti membantu meningkatkan kemandirian, kepercayaan diri, penerimaan diri, serta keterlibatan anak dalam kegiatan belajar dan sosial di sekolah.
