Abstract

Cases of sexual violence in Indonesia in the near future are always increasing from year to year, and victims are not only adults but also children, including in religious circles (pesantren). The phenomenon of sexual violence against children is becoming more and more common and has become a special concern in the world of education. The increase in cases of sexual violence is seen in the quantity or number of cases that occur. And to make matters worse, the perpetrators come from an educational environment such as a boarding school which is an Islamic educational institution. The method used in this research is the case study method. The focus of this article is sexual violence in pesantren and its prevention. With efforts to provide sex education, the mindset of providing sex education to students from an early age is important and not taboo

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara intensitas penggunaan gadget terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 139 Jakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey melalui kuesioner yang diukur dengan menggunakan skala likert. Dalam penelitian ini, jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 90 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling sebagai penentu kriteria sampel. Pengujian statistik dalam penelitian ini, seluruhnya menggunakan bantuan dari software SPSS Statistics 25. Adapun berdasarkan pengolahan data yang didapat melalui para responden, didapatkan hasil uji T dengan nilai Thitung 3,124 > Ttabel 1,987. Dengan nilai tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara intensitas penggunaan gadget  terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 139 Jakarta. Kemudian, berdasarkan model regresi linier yang digunakan yakni Y'=78,026+0,177X. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap terjadi penambahan satu nilai variabel bebas (X), maka akan meningkatkan nilai variabel terikat (Y) sebesar 0,177. Koefisien regresi ini bernilai positif, sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa arah pengaruh variabel X terhadap variabel Y adalah positif.

Abstract

This research is conducted by the many courtship behaviors of adolescents in the school environment and the dissatisfaction social sciences learning achievement. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of adolescent courtship behavior on social sciences achievement. The research method used is quantitative. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. The sample of this research was 32 respondents who were taken based on purposive sampling technique. The data processing used is simple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed that the variables of courtship behavior partially and simultaneously had a negative and significant effect on the social sciences learning achievement variable. With the obtained results of the t test, t count -7.222 > t table -2.042 and sig. 0.000 < α 0.05. F count 52.152 > F table 4.15 and sig. 0.000 < α 0.05. R Square value shows a result of 63.5% indicating that the ability of the independent variable to explain the effect on the dependent variable.

Abstract

This study aims to test the readiness of teachers to implement the Independent Curriculum at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta. Merdeka Curriculum is an innovative program that includes project-based learning, skills and character development, and a flexible curriculum structure. This study uses a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. Respondents to this study were teachers at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta, with the entire population (29 people) being the research sample. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature studies and documentation. A closed questionnaire with a checklist of answer choices was used as a research instrument. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive data analysis techniques, including descriptive statistics to present data in percentage form using a relative frequency distribution. The results showed that teachers at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta showed sufficient readiness in several aspects of the independent curriculum. Learning outcomes, indicators of success, and learning objectives are ready and can be implemented. The use and development of teaching tools, the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, as well as the application of student-centered learning have also been carried out well. However, there are several aspects such as lesson planning and assessment that still need to be improved. In conclusion, the readiness of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta is quite good in many aspects. However, there are still several aspects that need attention and improvement to ensure the implementation of effective learning and in accordance with the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Environmental problems are currently an issue of concern in the world of education. Therefore, every student must have ecological intelligence that can be formed through learning. One of them is through IPS learning. The purpose of this research was to determine whether there is an effect of social studies learning on students ecological intelligence. This type of research is quantitative research with a survey method through questionnaires and using a Likert scale. The sample of this research was 81 students using simple random sampling, namely taking samples from the population at random as a sample determination. The hypothesis testing was carried out with the help of SPSS Statistics 25. Based on the data analysis requirements test and the hypothesis testing that had been carried out, the resulting T test value was 15,661 > 1,665, meaning that H1 was accepted which "there is" the effect of social studies learning on students ecological intelligence of class VII SMPN 216 Jakarta. The regression model Y = 10.776 + 0.907X shows that the X variable has a positive effect on the Y variable. Social studies learning affects students' ecological intelligence by 75.6% while the rest is influenced by variables not examined.

Abstract

Effective learning is learning that provides the best experience to students in the form of satisfactory results, this is achieved by learning methods that are in accordance with the characteristics of students in general in class. Supported by a good communication relationship between teachers and students so that a good learning environment can be created and later increase students' interest in learning. IPS lessons are the result of the integration of several scientific disciplines, namely economics, history, anthropology, sociology, and geography, the study of IPS is the relationship that occurs between humans and their environment that gives rise to social phenomena. The purpose of this article is to explain and describe contextual learning methods for increasing students' motivation, interest, and achievement in social studies lessons. The method used is the literature study method with SINTA-accredited book sources and journals.

Abstract

Melakukan penilaian multikultural dalam pembelajaran adalah penting karena mencerminkan dan menghargai keragaman budaya, latar belakang, dan pengalaman siswa. Ini membantu menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran inklusif yang menghormati semua siswa, dan memperkaya proses pembelajaran dengan isu-isu budaya yang relevan. Dengan memiliki ketrampilan dalam melakukan penilaian multikultural, guru dapat menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang inklusif, mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa, dan memastikan bahwa semua siswa merasa dihargai dan diakui dalam proses penilaian tersebut. Dalam rangka meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran maka diperlukanlah suatu pelatihan bagi guru untuk melakukan penilaian multikultural dalam pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan guru mengalami peningkatan setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the level of relevance of social studies textbook-based learning to the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in SMP 236 Jakarta, by considering the views of teachers and students. This research method uses a mixed approach, combining quantitative analysis of survey data and qualitative analysis through in-depth interviews with teachers and students. The results of the analysis show that there are a number of aspects of social studies textbooks that are considered relevant to the objectives and context of Merdeka Curriculum, but there are also elements that need to be updated or adjusted. The views of teachers and students provide valuable insights into the effectiveness and need for improvement in the implementation of social studies textbooks in the context of the new curriculum. The implications of these findings make a significant contribution to the development of a more adaptive and needs-oriented curriculum for students at SMP 236 Jakarta and schools in similar contexts.

Abstract

Dengan kemajuan teknologi yang cepat menuju era society 5.0, siswa didorong untuk memiliki kemampuan menggunakan teknologi dan memanfaatkan internet dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Dalam dunia pendidikan pemanfaatan internet salah satunya dengan berliterasi digital. Literasi digital adalah keterampilan seseorang dalam mengolah informasi yang disampaikan ataupun diterima dalam media digital. Pada pembelajaran IPS, literasi digital sangat bermanfaat bagi siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan meningkatkan potensi belajar siswa. Dengan adanya literasi digital dalam pembelajaran IPS, diharapkan agar siswa tidak hanya terlibat secara pasif dalam pembelajaran, tetapi juga mampu berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar IPS guna mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi era society 5.0. Siswa diharapkan dapat menciptakan inovasi-inovasi yang bisa memberikan dampak serta mendukung kemajuan pendidikan di masa yang akan datang. Bagaimanapun, siswa termasuk di dalam tonggak terwujudnya pembelajaran IPS yang berbasis pada society 5.0.

Abstract

Utilization of Augmented Reality (AR) in learning Social Sciences (IPS) with a focus on presenting historical information. Augmented Reality is a technology that allows users to see the real world with the addition of digital elements, such as images, text, or 3D objects inserted in the physical environment. This research illustrates how AR can be used in social studies learning to improve students' understanding of history. By integrating AR into the learning experience, students can access additional information visually and interactively. For example, they can "see" historical figures or historical events through 3D projections that appear on top of textbooks or other learning materials. The results of this research show that the use of AR in social studies learning can increase student engagement, increase their understanding of historical material, and make learning more interesting. Apart from that, the use of AR also allows personalized learning and is tailored to students' abilities and interests. Thus, the use of AR in social studies learning, especially in the context of presenting historical information, can be an effective tool for creating a deeper and more interesting learning experience for students. Further research and development of more sophisticated AR applications in this area could be the next step in utilizing this technology in education.
