Abstract

Hypertension is a major risk factor for death. People with hypertension continue to increase from year to year in various ages caused by various factors that affect the incidence of hypertension due to lifestyle and low potassium intake. The potassium content in chayote is known to have a diuretic effect so that it can reduce salt levels in the blood through urinary excretion. If left untreated it can affect all organ systems and can arise other diseases such as atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, heart failure, stroke, and kidney failure. The type of service used is descriptive approach service that aims to educate and train the community on how to process and the benefits of chayote to reduce high blood pressure. The entire service population is people living in Halahalaya Hamlet, Kanreapia Village, Tombolo Pao District, Gowa Regency, totaling 30 respondents. The methods carried out in this program are counselling and demonstration. From the results of data analysis, it is known that there was an increase in knowledge before counselling was given and after counselling was given with an average value of 49.33 before counselling, then increased to 64.67 after counselling. The community needs to utilize existing assets such as the processing of chayote as a traditional medicine that can reduce hypertension.

Abstract

Karyawan merupakan aset bagi perusahaan, karena keberhasilan perusahaan dapat diraih karena adanya karyawan yang kompeten dalam perusahaan tersebut. Dengan kualitas kinerja yang baik dari karyawan akan memberikan efek yang positif pada karyawan maupun perusahaan itu sendiri. Sosialisasi dalam rangka meningkatkan motivasi kinerja karyawan, menjadi salah satu alat yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan sikap kerja karyawan menjadi lebih baik lagi. Tujuan pengabdian untuk menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman pentingnya memotivasi kinerja karyawan melalui program pengembangan yang tepat serta memberikan masukan dan menggali potensi diri karyawan untuk lebih siap dalam dunia kerja yang sesungguhnya sehingga diharapkan setelah mengikuti sosialisas dapat lebih meningkatkan kualitasnya dengan lebih baik sehingga menghasilkan Sumber Daya Manusia yang profesional di masa yang akan datang. Metode yang dilakukan adalah presentasi disertai tanya jawab, pendampingan dan pengarahan tentang motivasi dan pengembangan karyawan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan pentingnya meningkatkan motivasi dan pengembangan diri dalam bentuk apapun agar menjadi tenaga kerja yang terampil dan profesional di bidangnya.

Abstract

Ekspansi global menjadi strategi yang semakin penting bagi perusahaan dalam meraih pertumbuhan dan keunggulan kompetitif di pasar global yang dinamis. Namun, ekspansi tersebut juga menghadirkan tantangan signifikan bagi manajemen strategi perusahaan, seperti perbedaan budaya, regulasi, dan kondisi pasar lokal. Ekspansi sendiri merupakan suatu usaha untuk mengembangkan atau memperdalam jaringan usaha suatu perusahaan, baik itu dalam hal produksi maupun distribusi. Suatu perusahaan yang ingin melakukan ekspansi secara global harus dapat fokus dan menerapkan strategi agar dapat berjalan sesuai rencana. Metode kualitatif yang bersifat studi pustaka dan literature review merupakan pendekatan yang di pilih dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan data tertulis berupa manuskrip,  dokumen, buku,  jurnal, artikel, dan bahan pustaka lainnya sebagai sumber data primer. Pada metode penelitian  ini, peneliti mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan mengembangkan data dari berbagai sumber literatur yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian. Strategi ekspansi global memerlukan perencanaan yang matang dan komprehensif dengan menerapkan manajemen strategi yang tepat untuk diterapkan dalam melakukan ekspansi global seperti melakukan riset pasar yang mendalam untuk memahami kebutuhan, preferensi, dan budaya konsumen di pasar global yang dituju agar dapat menyesuaikan produk, layanan, dan strategi pemasaran dengan kondisi lokal. Selain itu, membangun aliansi strategis atau melakukan akuisisi perusahaan lokal juga dapat membantu perusahaan mempercepat proses ekspansi dan meminimalkan risiko kegagalan. Namun, perusahaan juga perlu memperhatikan risiko yang terkait dengan ekspansi global dan menyesuaikan strategi mereka dengan transisi dari pasar domestik ke pasar global.

Abstract

Intellectual discourse on women especially on marriage in Islamic tradition are dominated by patriarchal perspective. Islamic Intellectual treasures such as hadith and its explanation, exegesis, books, scholar and their intellectual products showed us how ancient Arabic patriarchal pattern existed. On the other hand, modernity led civilization to the values of equity, equality, human right and democracy against inequity, inequality, monarchy and individual cult. Problems of inequity appeared much on women discourse in Islamic tradition. Thousands of hadiths were identified recorded by men in patriarchal culture. It made gender issues in Islamic tradition are still sensitive. This article tries to reconstruct the discourse in one of the popular hadiths in marriage in order to explore the possibility of studying the meaning of a more moderate hadith.  By using Juynboll's common link, the author finds the hadith narrowed to one name, namely A'masy which is then categorized as a common link in this study.  In addition to having implications for the emergence of certain names as common links, this study also reviews further implications regarding the relevance of broader studies in hadith studies; urgent efforts to be made in order to place hadith as a source of more contextual and moderate religious discourse.[Tinjauan Pemahaman Agama Terhadap Hadis Pernikahan. Wacana intelektual tentang perempuan khususnya perkawinan dalam tradisi Islam didominasi oleh perspektif patriarki. Kekayaan Intelektual Islam seperti hadits dan penjelasannya, tafsir, kitab-kitab, ulama dan produk intelektualnya menunjukkan kepada kita bagaimana pola patriarki Arab kuno ada. Di sisi lain, modernitas membawa peradaban pada nilai-nilai kesetaraan, kesetaraan, hak asasi manusia dan demokrasi melawan ketidakadilan, ketidaksetaraan, monarki dan kultus individu. Masalah ketidakadilan banyak muncul pada wacana perempuan dalam tradisi Islam. Ribuan hadis diidentifikasi dicatat oleh laki-laki dalam budaya patriarki. Hal itu membuat isu gender dalam tradisi Islam masih sensitif. Artikel ini mencoba merekonstruksi wacana dalam salah satu hadis populer dalam pernikahan guna menjajaki kemungkinan mengkaji makna hadis yang lebih moderat. Dengan menggunakan common link Juynboll, penulis menemukan hadits tersebut dipersempit menjadi satu nama, yaitu A'masy yang kemudian dikategorikan sebagai common link dalam penelitian ini. Selain berimplikasi pada munculnya nama-nama tertentu sebagai common link, kajian ini juga mengkaji implikasi lebih lanjut mengenai relevansi kajian yang lebih luas dalam kajian hadis; Upaya mendesak dilakukan untuk menempatkan hadis sebagai sumber wacana keagamaan yang lebih kontekstual dan moderat.]

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to increase the potential of the Old Denai tourist village through education and SDGs. This type of research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The informants for this research are the head of Denai Lama Village, Chair of the Sanggar Circle Foundation, MSME Culinary Traders and Tourists. Data collection techniques in this research are interview and observation techniques. The data analysis technique in this research uses data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. Increasing the potential of the Denai Lama tourist village through education and implementing sustainable development goals (SDGs) aims to optimize local resources and improve the welfare of local communities. This research examines how education based on SDGs principles can support sustainable tourism development in the village. By focusing on strengthening human resource capacity, environmental conservation, and local economic empowerment, this strategy is expected to create tourism villages that are environmentally friendly, inclusive, and sustainable. This research also highlights the importance of collaboration between government, society and the private sector in creating a developing tourist village by integrating SDGs principles, in order to increase tourist attraction, improve quality of life, and preserve culture and nature in Denai Lama.

Abstract

This article explores the mechanisms of supervision and legal protection within state administration. Ensuring legal protection for citizens is a vital aspect of governance in democratic nations. Laws serve as tools to regulate rights, obligations, and legal entities, enabling them to fulfill their duties and receive fair treatment. Additionally, the law functions as a protective framework for legal subjects. The legal relationship between the state and its citizens can be governed either by state administrative law or civil law, depending on the state's role and position in upholding the law. The government may act as a civil legal entity or a public official, subjecting its legal actions to either the Civil Code or state administrative law. Mechanisms for supervision and legal protection in state administration include embedded supervision, functional supervision, and external supervision. Furthermore, citizens are afforded legal protection through administrative law mechanisms such as administrative law provisions, administrative appeals, and administrative courts.

Abstract

Langkawi golden box melon is a horticultural product that attracts the attention of consumers because of its uniqueness and quality. Golden Langkawi square melons have large market potential with high demand. The aim of this research is to determine the quality and price of golden Langkawi box melons at UPT PATPH Sidoarjo and influence the desire to buy this product. Consumers who have purchased boxed golden Langkawi melons at UPT PATPH Sidoarjo are the subjects of this research. Non-probability sampling is used for sampling through the purposive sampling method. This research used SEM – PLS 4.0 data analysis and involved 96 people. The results show that product quality and price have a significant influence on interest in buying boxed golden Langkawi melons at UPT PATPH Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Completeness of administration and pharmacology in prescriptions can minimise or reduce the occurrence of medication errors. This study aims to look at the description of the suitability of administrative and pharmaceutical aspects in prescriptions by looking at the percentage of completeness of administrative and pharmaceutical aspects in prescriptions at the Wanaraja Garut Health Centre. This research is quantitative descriptive. The sampling method is random sampling which is calculated using the Slovin formula. The sample used was 308 prescription sheets in January 2021. Based on the results of the description of the completeness of prescriptions at the Wanaraja Garut Health Centre, of the 308 prescription sheets studied administratively, it was found that 60.90% were complete and 39.10% were incomplete, and studied pharmaceutically, it was found that 93.33% of the prescriptions were appropriate and 6.67% of the prescriptions were not appropriate. It can be concluded that the prescription sheet at the Wanaraja Garut Health Centre almost entirely meets the aspects of the completeness of the prescription in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, but it is still found that 11 out of 16 aspects of the completeness of the prescription do not contain information, namely the patient's age 2.27%, gender 30.51%, patient weight 98.51%, patient address 8.76%, doctor's name 47.7%, doctor's initials 64.28%, prescription date 3.57%, doctor's room or unit of origin 43.83%, doctor's SIP No. 0%, dosage form 11.3%, drug dosage 28.88%. This shows that the completeness of prescriptions at the Wanaraja Garut Health Centre is still incomplete, in writing prescriptions that trigger medication errors. It needs to be improved so that it meets the standards in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve the competitiveness of the UMKM Kopi Kuda Berkait in Sebong Pereh Village through packaging innovation and digital marketing education for local UMKM. The innovation involved designing modern, hygienic, and functional packaging to enhance the product's appeal and strengthen its brand identity. Digital marketing education was provided to the UMKMs in Sebong Pereh Village, including the use of e-commerce platforms such as Shopee. The implementation methods included interviews, observations, documentation, participation, and socialization. As a result, the packaging innovation successfully enhanced the branding of Kopi Kuda Berkait, while the digital marketing education helped local UMKMs understand digital marketing strategies to expand their market reach

Abstract

The cosmetics industry is experiencing rapid development with a variety of beauty products, and vetiver oil is emerging as a safe and effective natural ingredient with antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-aging benefits, and has the potential to overcome health problems caused by synthetic ingredients. Indonesia, as a major producer of vetiver oil, has a great opportunity to develop the market for natural cosmetics, increase the economic value of local agricultural products, and fulfil the global demand for environmentally-friendly natural cosmetics. Method: The article preparation method used literature reviews from international and national journals. The search for articles published online was conducted through PubMed and Google Scholar sites and citation writing using the Mendeley® software application. Result: Vetiver oil exhibits strong antioxidant and antimicrobial activities, able to protect cells from oxidative damage and is effective against various bacteria and fungi, with an IC50 of 0.515 µg for antioxidant activity and a Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MWC) of 62.5 µg/ml against Bacillus cereus. In addition, the oil has anti-aging effects through increased lipid synthesis, aids in the treatment of acne by inhibiting the growth of Cutibacterium acnes, and reduces oxidative stress and melanin production, making it a potential agent in various skincare and health applications. Conclusion. Vetiver oil exhibits a range of significant health and beauty benefits, including antioxidant activity, antimicrobials, anti-aging effects, acne treatment, and oxidative stress reduction. Research and development of vetiver oil-based products can provide effective natural solutions to a wide range of health and cosmetic concerns.
