Abstract

Creativity is an important skill in the 21st century. One of the activities to develop creativity is through the fine arts. This study aims to describe the process of fine art learning in early childhood to develop creativity. This research is a case study approach. The subjects consist of children and teachers at Aisyiyah XI and Nurul Hidayah Kindergarten Surakarta. Analysis data using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana Models. The results of the study show that the art learning activities carried out include drawing and colouring, painting, mosaics, montage, and collaborative work using blocks and lego. Art learning methods can promote free expression, demonstration, and collaboration. The most effective method to stimulate a child's creativity is to allow the child to express their thoughts and feelings freely. The artworks of free expression-based learning are more varied because they align with the creativity of early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the prototype of the little gamelan art learning model for inculcating Pancasila values ​​in kindergarten children, (2) determine the feasibility and practicality of the little gamelan art learning model (3) determine the effectiveness of the little gamelan art learning model (4) knowing the process of growing Pancasila values ​​in kindergarten children while playing a little gamelan art. The subjects of the study were group B kindergarten children, kindergarten leaders, and kindergarten educators in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Need assessment data collection is done through interviews, list of documents, and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the assessors of the validity of gamelan experts and children's learning are met according to criteria 0.9 in the Validity Coefficient Table with an error rate of 5%. Likewise, the reliability between raters with the test-retest method obtained a consistency score according to the criteria in the Reliability Table with an error rate of 5%. The effectiveness of the little gamelan in stimulating Pancasila for early childhood is very significant. This is based on a one-sample t-test that the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis and the rejection of the null hypothesis is that the children's Pancasila achievement during and after playing the gamelan exceeds the Pancasila scores achieved by most of the PAUD teachers involved in this study. The values ​​that are stimulated in playing the little gamelan are praying, knowing God's creation, being grateful, appreciating, polite, appreciating, compact, harmonious, deliberation, leadership, fair, taking turns.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain how the role and implementation of traditional games in instilling the character of love for the homeland in students of TK Methodist 5 Palembang. This type of research is qualitative-descriptive using a phenomenological approach. The methods used in this study are interviews, observation, and documentation. Triangulation techniques and the triangulation of sources determine the validity of the data in this study. Then, the data analysis technique uses the Milles and Huberman model to reduce, display, and verify data. The results of this study show that the habituation of traditional games can instill various kinds of national values that reflect the character of love for the homeland in students little by little. The national values formed through this game culture can be applied in everyday life and provide a way for students to live in society.
