Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para pelaku UMKM di Kota Batam adalah kurangnya akses terhadap informasi dan pengetahuan yang dapat membantu mereka dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan pendapatan usaha, terutama dalam bidang pemasaran digital untuk meningkatkan brand value. Oleh karena itu, rumusan masalah dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah bagaimana pemanfaatan digital marketing dan media sosial dapat dioptimalkan untuk meningkatkan brand value UMKM serta berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja dan pendapatan. Tujuan khusus dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan literasi dan edukasi digital yang diperlukan oleh UMKM di Kota Batam untuk meningkatkan brand value serta berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja dan pendapatan dan membantu UMKM memanfaatkan teknologi yang ada saat ini secara mandiri. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini akan diselesaikan dalam 6 tahapan. Adapun tahapannya yaitu; studi literatur, identifikasi kebutuhan, pembuatan rencana pendampingan, pelaksanaan pendampingan, evaluasi dan penyusunan laporan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditargetkan dapat diselesaikan hingga bulan Desember Tahun 2023.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the marketing mix on the decision to purchase tour packages at OMA tour & travel. This study used an explanatory research method with 87 OMA tour & travel customers throughout Indonesia. From the results of multiple regression, it shows that there is a partial effect on the product variable on the decision to purchase a tour package at OMA tour & travel of 0.385, there is a partial effect on the promotion variable on the decision to purchase a tour package at OMA tour & travel of 0.134, a partial effect on the place variable on the decision to purchase a tour package at OMA tour & travel is 0.192, the partial effect of the price variable on the decision to purchase a tour package at OMA tour & travel is 0.496 and there is a partial effect on the process variable on the decision to purchase a tour package at OMA tour & travel travel of 0.269. As for the variables of people and physical evidence, there is no partial effect on the decision to purchase a tour package at OMA tour & travel. There is a simultaneous influence on product, promotion, place, price, people, process and physical evidence variables on the decision to purchase a tour package at OMA tour & travel

Abstract

Heat treatment aims to obtain certain properties by a combination process between heating and cooling processes of the metal or its alloy in a solid state. It is important to know the physical and mechanical properties of metals. By knowing the physical and mechanical properties of the metal without compromising its properties and conditions, the metal can be used as needed. If there is a head crack when the wire is further processed into screws, it is necessary to analyze the hardness and strength of the stainless steel wire. Annealing is done to soften the wire. Annealing aims to increase ductility and reduce internal stresses. This study aims to determine the effect of annealing at a temperature of 1050ºC on the hardness and strength of stainless steel wire 316 heat number NY211130AV12. The experimental method was used in this study. The results of the analysis are based on test specimens with numerical data. From the research data shows that there is a decrease in wire hardness, strength and tension in the wire after annealing. Meanwhile, the ductility of the wire increases after annealing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors of generation Z entrepreneurial intentions in the agricultural sector in the industrial city of Batam. The population in this study is management students from 4 universities in Batam City with a total of 200 respondents. This research is a quantitative research. The method used to analyze the data is factor analysis. In this study, there are 19 variables that can be reduced to several factors with the results of the study showing that there are 5 new factors, namely economic improvement, decision-making, interest, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial confidence.

Abstract

Pemerintah Indonesia memandang penting keberadaan para pelaku UMKM dengan melakukan berbagai upaya-upaya dalam meningkatkan daya saing UMKM. Sebagai kota industri, jumlah UMKM di Kota Batam berkembang cukup pesat akan tetapi banyak usaha yang terdampak akibat pandemi selama dua tahun belakangan ini. Sebagai salah satu usaha dalam mengurangi dampak tersebut dari sisi akademisi yaitu dengan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat serta penelitian. Salah satu hasil penelitian terkait yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Hati dan Anishafitri tahun 2021 tentang analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan UMKM selama pandemi. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut dilanjutkan dengan mengadakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengenai Peningkatan Kinerja UMKM Bidang Manufaktur Melalui Pendampingan dan Edukasi Pengelolaan Persediaan Bahan Baku. Topik pengabdian yang diajukan disesuaikan dengan roadmap pusat kajian UMKM, gender dan disabilitas. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini juga akan dikolaborasikan dengan PBL mata kuliah Logistik & Rantai Pasok, Pergudangan & Persediaan, K3 & Lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahap yang dimulai dari diskusi dengan pelaku UMKM terkait dengan kebutuhan mereka mengenai sistem pengelolaan persediaan bahan baku serta akan dilaksanakan pula pemberian edukasi dan pendampingan dengan menggunakan video-video edukasi yang dikembangkan dan pelaksanaan webinar bersama para pelaku UMKM di Kota Batam.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the concept of the most appropriate marketing strategic to be applied to the Agribisnis Semangka Batam of Kepulauan Setokok Batam. This research uses descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. The data sources used in this analysis are primary data from respondents and secondary data from company documents. The technical analysis of the data used is carried out through SWOT analysis. The results show that the position Agribisnis Semangka in unit I using the SWOT chart indicates that the outcome of the analysis is positive, and the correct strategy at this position is the "growth strategy". Then the appropriate strategic alternatives for Agribisnis Semangka using S-O strategy (Strength-Opportunity) by maintaining fruit quality and service to consumers, utilizing distribution channels, increasing promotion on each type of product utilizing broad market Opportunities and maintaining prices that can compete in the market This study aimed to analyze the concept of the most appropriate marketing strategic to be applied to the Agribisnis Semangka Batam of Kepulauan Setokok Batam. Abstract

Halal products are products that are starting to be looked at by the market today. One of the goals of the Indonesian government, under BPJPH, in 2024 it is hoped that products, especially food and beverages in Indonesia, will already have halal certificates so that they can increase the attractiveness of pariwasata for Muslims around the world if they visit Indonesia. Based on the new legislation in 2014, namely law no. 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Guarantee, the halal certification process is carried out in synergy by various parties, one of which is the halal product guarantee organizing body (BPJPH). Halal product process assistance is a process of verifying and validating halal statements by business actors (self-declare). This activity serves to assist micro and small business actors in meeting product halal requirements. The purpose of this community service is to find out the level of understanding of prospective halal product process assistants in Batam City, service activities are carried out with 3 stages, namely surveys, socialization and training activities and the last stage is evaluation and reports. This activity is supported by BPJPH and Bank Indonesia as additional sponsors for activities to be carried out offline and online.

Abstract

This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the tracer study of alumni of the Batam State Polytechnic Applied Business Administration Study Program (Case Study of Alumni 2015-2021). The research data is mainly sourced from questionnaires distributed to 227 alumni samples determined by the Krejcie & Morgan technique. Respondent characteristics are presented based on gender, type of class attended, year of graduation, and current domicile distribution. In addition, respondent data is presented based on the absorption of alumni which includes employment status, description of the respondent's current situation, type of work done, income, and how to get a job. The results showed that as many as 211 alumni (92.95%) had jobs that were relevant to the curriculum, but as many as 16 alumni (7.05%) did not have relevant jobs so that the Applied Business Administration Study Program curriculum had high relevance to the world of work.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas website MyInternship Polibatam dari persepsi pengguna dengan menggunakan metode Webqual dan Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Penelitian ini menggunakan probability sampling dengan cluster sampling. Jumlah responden sebanyak 316 responden yang merupakan mahasiswa Polibatam yang memulai magang pada periode 2024 dengan menggunakan Webqual dan Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif dan gap analysis, diperoleh bahwa kinerja website MyInternship Polibatam sudah memenuhi kepuasan, kepentingan, dan harapan pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), diketahui bahwa masih terdapat beberapa indikator yang berada dalam area kuadran pertama, sehingga perlu ditingkatkan kinerjanya. Penelitian ini hanya berfokus pada dua metode evaluasi, yaitu Webqual 4.0 dan Importance-Performance Analysis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan MyInternship Polibatam memenuhi kepuasan, kepentingan, dan harapan pengguna dan hasil Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) diketahui bahwa masih terdapat beberapa indikator yang berada dalam area kuadran pertama, sehingga perlu ditingkatkan kinerjanya
