Abstract

Article 54 of Law No. 35/2014 on Child Protection, an amendment to Law No. 23/2002, states that children in the educational environment must be protected from physical and psychological violence, sexual crimes, and other crimes that may be committed by educators, education personnel, fellow students, or other parties. However, despite this regulation, cases of bullying in schools still occur frequently. This study aims to evaluate the application of Article 54 of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection and legal protection efforts for children who are victims of bullying with a legal certainty approach. The research method used is descriptive with qualitative data analysis. The results showed that Article 54 has been well implemented by the Surakarta City Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection and Population Control and Family Planning. They conduct socialization in schools and communities as a preventive measure and assist the mediation process for case resolution as a repressive measure. In addition, for the legal protection of child victims of bullying with a legal certainty approach, the Office also integrates bullying prevention and handling programs, facilitates and fosters education units, and provides educational facilities.

Abstract

Stres adalah respons yang tidak diinginkan yang timbul akibat berbagai faktor, baik dari dalam maupun luar diri seseorang, yang dapat menyebabkan seseorang merasa tertekan. Stres yang berkepanjangan atau tidak terkontrol dapat meningkatkan risiko seseorang mengalami depresi. Sebagian orang mungkin menggunakan coping stres yang negatif seperti merokok. Saat ini merokok sudah menjadi gaya hidup di kalangan remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat stres dengan kecenderungan perilaku merokok pada remaja laki-laki. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 88 responden dari total populasi 406 laki-laki di Desa Canden Sambi Boyolali, instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang sudah diuji validitas, analisa data penelitian ini menggunakan uji Spearman Rho. Berdasarkan hasil didapatkan tingkat stres terbanyak responden mengalami tingkat stres sedang sebanyak 68 responden (77,3 %) dan paling sedikit responden yang mengalami tingkat stres ringan sebanyak 9 responden (10,2%). Sementara hasil jumlah kecenderungan perilaku merokok didapatkan jumlah kecenderungan perilaku merokok sedang dengan jumlah 66 responden (75,3%) dan responden dengan kecenderungan perilaku merokok ringan sebanyak 10 responden (11,4%). Berdasarkan output uji Spearman, diketahui nilai signifikansi atau sig (2-tailed) antara variabel tingkat stress dengan kecenderungan perilaku merokok adalah sebesar 0.000 <0.05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat stres dengan kecenderungan perilaku merokok pada remaja laki-laki.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the potential for applying blockchain technology to increase transparency and efficiency in managing education funds in schools. The research method used is a qualitative approach, through interviews with education managers and analysis of field findings. The research results show that blockchain technology has great potential in increasing transparency, accountability and efficiency in the management of education funds. By recording every transaction openly and irreversibly in the blockchain, schools can increase the level of transparency and enable real-time monitoring of funds. The use of smart contracts can also automate most administrative processes, reducing the risk of human error and saving time and costs. Recommendations for future research are to further explore the application of blockchain technology in broader educational contexts, as well as deepen understanding of the technical challenges, security, and associated social and economic impacts. By conducting further research in this area, we can expand our knowledge of the potential of blockchain technology in improving the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the understanding and skills of secondary school teachers in teaching students with special needs in Solo City by implementing an adaptive inclusive curriculum. The research method employed is the Action Research-Based Community Service (ABC) approach, which involves designing an inclusive learning model, intensive training for teachers, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The study began with the development of a new curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special needs, followed by training that included effective teaching strategies and inclusive classroom management techniques. The results of the study indicate that after the implementation of the new curriculum and training, there was a significant improvement in teachers' understanding and skills in teaching students with special needs. Monitoring and evaluation revealed that students with special needs experienced an increase in learning motivation and positive interactions with their peers. Moreover, the use of modern educational technology in the teaching and learning process also had a positive impact, making the learning experience more interactive and enjoyable. Although challenges remain, such as the need for continued support for teachers, this study contributes significantly to the development of inclusive education in Solo City and can serve as a model for other schools in Indonesia to improve educational practices for all children.

Abstract

Program optimalisasi pemasaran hasil pertanian melalui digitalisasi agribisnis merupakan langkah strategis dalam menghadapi tantangan pemasaran produk tani di wilayah perdesaan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberdayakan kelompok tani agar mampu memanfaatkan teknologi digital sebagai sarana promosi dan distribusi hasil pertanian secara lebih luas dan efisien. Metode pelaksanaan yang dirancang meliputi edukasi literasi digital, pelatihan penggunaan media sosial dan platform agribisnis, serta pendampingan dalam pembuatan konten promosi. Rencana kegiatan ini berbasis pada pendekatan partisipatif dengan mengedepankan kolaborasi antara tim pengabdi dan kelompok tani sebagai mitra utama. Hasil yang diharapkan dari program ini adalah meningkatnya kapasitas petani dalam memasarkan produk mereka secara mandiri melalui kanal digital, serta terciptanya model pemasaran pertanian digital yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah perdesaan lainnya. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan potensi besar dari transformasi digital sebagai solusi untuk keterbatasan akses pasar di kalangan petani perdesaan.

Abstract

Effective communication between nurses and patients is essential in building therapeutic relationships, increasing patient trust, and enhancing satisfaction with healthcare services. This study employs a cross-sectional design to evaluate the impact of a psychology-based model of empathic communication in nursing on patient trust and satisfaction. The model, which emphasizes understanding, active listening, and emotional presence, is grounded in psychological principles that support patient-centered care. Data were collected through a structured survey administered to patients in healthcare settings in Indonesia and Malaysia. The study analyzes how empathic communication influences patient trust, reduces anxiety, and improves satisfaction with care. Findings indicate that implementing a structured empathic communication model significantly enhances nurse-patient interactions and contributes to better health outcomes. The results underscore the importance of integrating psychological principles into nursing communication practices to improve patient care quality.

Abstract

Background: Stress is a condition of anxiety or mental strain brought on by challenging circumstances and motivates us to face obstacles and dangers in life. Stress often experienced by adolescents, with a reported high prevalence of depression among teenagers. Each person uses different stress coping techniques, some of which are beneficial and others of which are detrimental. Smoking is one of the negative stress coping strategies that some people turn to in the hopes of finding mental calm. However, smoking behavior is dangerous for both active and passive smokers, who may experience a range of illnesses, including cancer, lung disease, impotence, reproductive abnormalities, stroke, and possibly fatal pregnancy issues for the fetus. Objective: The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between stress levels and smoking motivation among adolescents. Method: This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach by involving 80 subjects of adolescents. The research instrument used a questionnaire that had been tested for validity. Analysis of this research data used the Spearman Rho test. Results: It was discovered that 38 subject (47.5%) had low level of stress, 26 subject (32.5%) had moderate levels of stress, 9 (11,25%) had high levels of stress, 7 (8,75%) had very high levels of stress. Smoking motivation was discovered that 59 subject (73.75%) had moderate smoking motivation, 31 subject (38.75%) had high smoking motivation. Conclusion: There is a relation between stress levels and smoking motivation among adolescents with a significance value of 0.00 (p<0.05).

Abstract

Mindfulness or mindfulness is increasingly promoted in Western countries as a psychological strategy to improve emotional regulation and self-control, including in the context of reducing aggressive behavior, especially when individuals experience a state of exhaustion or ego depletion. However, the effectiveness of this approach in the context of non-Western cultures has not been widely explored. This study aims to replicate the study of Yusainy and Lawrence (2015) in Indonesia to test whether the induction of mindfulness can also moderate aggression after ego depletion in different cultural environments. This experimental research involved 119 Indonesian students as participants. Using a laboratory design, participants were divided into conditions of induction of mindfulness and control, and were asked to complete a reaction time competition task that had been modified to measure aggression (through the intensity of the sound explosions released against a fictitious opponent). In addition, an additional measure of the frequency of delayed maximum burst release was used to evaluate more subtle forms of aggression, particularly in female participants. The results showed that mindfulness significantly moderated the relationship between ego-depletion and aggression conditions, especially in low- to moderate-provoking situations. Mindfulness induction also showed improved self-control performance after participants completed aggression tasks. Another important finding is that the positive effect of mindfulness on aggression reduction is most visible in more subtle indicators of aggression, especially in groups of women who experience ego thinning. In conclusion, the results of this study reinforce the cross-cultural validity of the Western mindfulness approach and emphasize the importance of using more sensitive aggression measures, especially in assessing the effects of psychological interventions on female populations in non-Western cultures such as Indonesia.

Abstract

Public service is a system, meaning that citizen forums or the public as applicants or users of services must be given the broadest possible access to the problem-solving and decision-making processes in the provision of public services. The principle of openness plays a crucial role in establishing quality public services. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This approach was chosen because it aims to deeply understand how citizen forums play a role in overseeing public services, as well as the dynamics of interactions between citizens and the government within these forums. The research results have found that citizen forums have a strategic role in overseeing public services, namely as a forum for public participation, a mechanism of social control, a medium for dialogue and collaboration, and a driver of transparency and accountability. However, the success of citizen forums is highly dependent on the capacity of citizens, support for government policies, and the political will of officials to be open to public criticism and input.
