Abstract

Reformasi birokrasi merupakan program nasional yang saat ini tengah dijalankan oleh pemerintah untuk menopang program pembangunan yang sedang berjalan. Selain sebagai Iangkah maju untuk memperbaiki kondisi birokrasi di Indonesia, hal ini sekaligus menjadi tantangan bersama, khususnya bagi instansi pemerintah di semua tingkatan, baik di pusat ataupun daerah. Lebih jauh lagi menjadi tantangan bagi Lembaga Administrasi Negara, yang selama ini melakukan pengkajian, penelitian dan pengembangan di bidang administrasi negara. Peran strategis itu tentu rnembutuhkan pemikiran ulang jika kita rnelihat arah dan perkembangan yang ada saat ini, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan kebijakan pembangunan nasional dan reformasi birokrasi. Pergeseran paradigma dalam pemerintahan tentu harus kita sikapi secara dewasa dengan mendiskusikan beberapa hal yang kiranya relevan dalam melihat kebutuhan dan tantangan ke depan yang dihadapi birokrasi pemerintah.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of Regional  Income, General Allocation Funds, and Profit Sharing Funds on Capital Expenditures as well as the influence of Regional  Income, General Allocation Funds, and Profit Sharing Funds with moderating economic growth on Capital Expenditures. This research was conducted at the Regency/City government in East Java Province. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling , and there were 36 districts/cities in East Java that were the sample for this research. This research uses the APBD Realization Report and GRDP Table for the 2019-2022 period as samples. The analytical method used to test the hypothesis in the research is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of this research show that Regional  Income, General Allocation Funds have an effect on capital expenditure in the Regency/City of East Java Province, but the Profit Sharing Fund variable has no effect on capital expenditure. The moderating variable (economic growth) is able to moderate the Profit Sharing Fund variable, but is not able to moderate the Regional  Income and General Allocation Fund variables on capital expenditure.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of calcination temperature and holding time on the structural properties of calcia (CaO) powders. The raw material used in this study is chicken eggshell waste, which was cleaned, dried, ground, and sieved for uniform particle size. The synthesis of calcia powder was performed by calcining the powder at 900°C and 1000 °C for 5, 10, and 15 hours. XRD, BET, and SEM analyses were employed to evaluate crystal structure, textural properties, and microstructure of the calcined powders. The Rietveld analysis reveals the identified crystalline phases were calcia up to 95.6 mol% and calcium hydroxide as secondary phase. Results indicate that higher calcination temperatures and extended holding times increase particle size and reduce BET surface area, significantly altering pore size distribution. Specifically, elevated temperatures promote sintering and grain growth, leading to smaller average pore radii and decreased total pore volume. The BET surface area ranges from 7.431 m2/g to 1.772 m2/g for samples calcined at 900 °C and from 3.202 m²/g to 0.711 m²/g for samples calcined at 1000 °C. Correspondingly, the average particle radius increases from 183.51 nm to 769.55 nm at 900 °C and from 425.83 nm to 1918.10 nm at 1000 °C as the holding time extends. BJH analysis reveals that longer holding times broaden pore size distribution due to the merging of smaller pores.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the skills and participation of local communities in managing plastic waste within the Sawahlunto National Geopark area, serving as a catalyst for addressing global environmental and climate change issues. This initiative was implemented through community empowerment based on inter-institutional collaboration. Although the outcomes of community empowerment in improving plastic waste management skills and participation had not yet yielded the expected benefits for holistic economic development, the increased community understanding of plastic waste management fostered new hopes and a commendable sense of environmental concern. This success was evident in the community's active role in environmental management around key geosites through mutual cooperation activities and their growing interest in educational and research activities within the Sawahlunto National Geopark area.

Abstract

Aplikasi Kelor merupakan sebuah sistem informasi layanan surat berbasis mobile yang dimanfaatkan di Desa Cipayung guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan aksesibilitas pelayanan administrasi. Meskipun desa telah menggunakan platform berbasis web, kebutuhan masyarakat akan layanan administrasi yang lebih praktis dan efisien tetap belum sepenuhnya terakomodasi. Dengan memanfaatkan metode Agile, penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan sistem yang dapat beradaptasi dengan dinamika kebutuhan dan kondisi di lapangan. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan secara iteratif dan melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari para pemangku kepentingan desa. Hasil implementasi sistem menunjukkan bahwa layanan administrasi surat berbasis mobile dapat mempermudah warga dalam mengakses layanan tanpa perlu datang ke kantor desa, menghemat waktu dan biaya. Selain itu, sistem ini dilengkapi dengan fitur-fitur seperti pemberitahuan status secara real-time, manajemen profil pengguna, serta informasi berita desa yang mendukung transparansi dan komunikasi antara pemerintah desa dan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, sistem informasi ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan administrasi, tetapi juga memperkuat partisipasi dan interaksi masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDalam konsep kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, siswa belajar sesuai minat dan kemampuan, fokus pada menciptakan portofolio yang mencerminkan bakat individu, dan semuanya bertujuan untuk mencapai potensi optimal dengan cara yang menyenangkan. 30 siswa TK Harapan Bunda semester genap tahun ajaran 2022-2023 mendapatkan pendampingan rangkaian aktivitas pembelajaran meliputi pengenalan jenis-jenis tanaman, pengenalan teknik berkebun hidroponik, penanaman benih di instalasi hidroponik, pengamatan pertumbuhan tanaman hingga masa panen, dan memasak hasil panen menjadi masakan bergizi. Metode pengumpulan dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang berfokus pada implementasi kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Informasi dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan, dokumentasi pembelajaran, dan wawancara dengan guru, kepala sekolah, serta wali murid untuk memahami pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar di sekolah tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian ini tidak hanya memberikan pengalaman baru yang berharga bagi siswa, tetapi juga memperkaya pengalaman belajar mereka dengan melibatkan mereka dalam aktivitas yang praktis dan relevan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mengembangkan kreativitas siswa dan kemampuan adaptasi guru dalam menghadirkan nuansa segar dalam pembelajaran. Ini adalah langkah positif menuju pendidikan yang lebih interaktif dan berorientasi pada pemahaman konsep melalui pengalaman langsung. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan wawancara bersama guru, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini telah memberikan kontribusi yang berarti dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran untuk 30 siswa di TK Harapan Bunda Balikpapan semester genap tahun ajaran 2022-2023. Kata kunci: hidroponik; siswa; taman kanak-kanak; berkebun; Merdeka Belajar. ABSTRACTIn the Merdeka Belajar curriculum concept, students learn according to their interests and abilities, focus on creating a portfolio that reflects individual talents, and aim to achieve optimal potential in a fun way. 30 Harapan Bunda Kindergarten students for the even semester of the 2022-2023 academic year received assistance with a series of learning activities including introducing plant types, introducing hydroponic gardening techniques, planting seeds in hydroponic installations, observing plant growth until harvest time, cooking the produce. harvest into nutritious food. The data collection and analysis method used is descriptive qualitative, focusing on implementing the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. Information was collected through observations, learning documentation, and interviews with teachers, school principals, and student guardians to understand the implementation of learning activities at the school. This service activity not only provides valuable new experiences for students but also enriches their learning experience by involving them in practical and relevant activities. Apart from that, this activity also develops student creativity and the teacher's adaptability in bringing a fresh nuance to learning. This is a positive step towards education that is more interactive and oriented towards understanding concepts through hands-on experience. Based on the results of observations and interviews with teachers, it can be concluded that the implementation of this service program has made a significant contribution in improving the quality of learning for 30 students at Harapan Bunda Kindergarten Balikpapan even semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. Keywords: hydroponics; student; kindergarten; gardening; merdeka belajar.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to examine the impact of company size, profitability, and institutional ownership on the value of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2023. Methods: Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were analyzed using SPSS, specifically employing multiple linear regression to assess the relationships between the independent variables (company size, profitability, and institutional ownership) and the dependent variable (company value). The sample was selected through purposive sampling of IDX-listed property and real estate companies within the study period. Results: Findings indicate that while company size does not significantly influence company value, profitability and institutional ownership positively impact company value in the property and real estate sector. Novelty: This research contributes to the field by highlighting the role of institutional ownership in enhancing company value within the Indonesian property and real estate market, providing sector-specific insights that may assist stakeholders in optimizing firm strategies and governance.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to address the lack of formal instruction in scientific research methods at the elementary and secondary school levels by enhancing students’ scientific writing skills, enabling them to produce well-structured and academically sound scientific articles. Method: The activity was conducted through a community service–based training program employing interactive lectures, guided practice, and mentoring sessions. The training introduced fundamental concepts of scientific research, including problem formulation, use of scientific methods, data interpretation, and systematic scientific writing. Participants were senior high school students who engaged in step-by-step writing exercises and received feedback on their drafts. Results: The training demonstrated a positive improvement in students’ understanding of scientific research principles and their ability to organize ideas into coherent scientific articles. Students showed increased confidence in applying rational and empirical thinking, structuring manuscripts, and using appropriate academic language. Novelty: This program offers a structured and early-stage intervention model for scientific writing at the secondary school level, integrating research method literacy with practical writing skills, which are typically only emphasized at the university level. This approach contributes a novel framework for strengthening pre-university scientific literacy and academic writing competence.

Abstract

Objective: The objective of this study is to emphasize the importance of accurate and precise financial reporting in non-profit organizations, particularly in mosques, to ensure accountability and transparency to donors. Method: This research discusses the financial management practices of mosques, with a focus on voluntary donations from the public and the reporting requirements for managing and accounting for these funds. It highlights the role of good financial information systems in aiding decision-making for mosque administrators. Results: The study finds that effective financial management reflects the trustworthiness and responsibility of mosque administrators in managing donations, contributing to accountability and transparency. Novelty: The novelty lies in linking accountability with the specific financial management needs of mosques, emphasizing the importance of transparency in managing voluntary donations for public trust and organizational performance.
