Abstract

Some parts of our society are having problems with handling medicine properly. One of the causes is not all people understand how to heal their sickness with many kinds of medicine. Various medicine-society related problems can be caused by people's lack of understanding about the use and handling of medicine correctly. One way to inform society how to manage medicine properly is to implement the DAGUSIBU (DApatkan, GUnakan, SImpan, BUang). Based on the information obtained, residents of the Candirenggo sub-district have never received information about DAGUSIBU. That’s why it is necessary to socialize DAGUSIBU in their community. The purpose of this activity is to make them understand and share information about the correct way to receive, apply, install and waste the medicines among their family and their neighbor. The method used in this activity is through socialization or lectures, interactive discussions., and the distribution of DAGUSIBU brochures. The dissemination about DAGUSIBU went smoothly. The participants who attended were very enthusiastic in listening to explanations and actively asked questions regarding the use of medicine and their treatment. This can support the realization of government programs in improving health services for the community. This socialization increases participants' understanding of drug management properly, from this socialization, the participants suggested to apply the knowledge gained to their family and community environment properly and correctly.

Abstract

Berpikir kritis tidak hanya dapat dikembangkan melalui proses pembelajaran tetapi juga dapat ditingkatkan memalui alat evaluasi yant tepat, sehingga peneliti mengembangkan instrumen three-tier berbantu google form untuk dapat mengukur ketrampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi stoikiometri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RD) model tipe formative research Tessmer. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data: validasi ahli, analisis soal (validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya beda), analisis profil berpikir kritis, analisis angket respons peserta didik. Hasil menunjukan: validasi ahli 96,75%, validitas butir soal 0,7, reliabilitas 0,89, tingkat kesukaran sedang, dan memiliki daya pembeda yang baik, serta respon positif 76% terhadap instrumen tes. Hasil ketercapaian berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi stoikiometri yaitu sebanyak 17% dengan kategori sangat kurang. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh instrumen memiliki karakteristik yang baik, maka instrumen tes three-tier multiple choice berbantu google form layak digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Implikasi dari penerapan kurikulum merdeka, mengharuskan madrasah melakukan berbagai macam persiapan yang tidak ringan, salah satunya adalah menyiapkan sumber daya manusia, yang dalam hal ini adalah guru. Guru menjadi komponen kunci dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka. Selain bertugas melaksanakan pembelajaran sebagaimana biasanya, guru dituntut untuk merancang kegiatan kokurikuler yang mendukung terwujudnya Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Malang menginstruksikan semua madrasah untuk mendaftarkan diri sebagai peserta implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Meski demikian, belum ada pendampingan teknis yang intensif kepada guru-guru madrasah. Pengetahuan guru mengenai implementasi kurikulum merdeka berasal dari sosialisasi yang hanya membahas secara umum mengenai implementasi kurikulum merdeka di madrasah. Dengan demikian, secara garis besar kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada guru Yayasan Sunan Ampel Poncokusumo dalam menyiapkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum merdeka. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian terdiri dari kegiatan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Secara umum, pelatihan penyusunan modul ajar berbasis kurikulum merdeka berjalan dengan baik. Beberapa peserta berhasil mengembangkan produk modul ajar berbasis kurikulum merdeka. Pendampingan berkelanjutan dari Tim Pengabdian ini sangat diperlukan dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan pembelajaran di lingkungan Yayasan Sunan Ampel Poncokusumo.

Abstract

In the contemporary era marked by profound societal shifts influenced by technology, the increasing integration of digital devices into educational settings necessitates a closer examination of educators' proficiency in leveraging these resources. Despite the availability of state-of-the-art learning facilities at SDN Bunulrejo 1 Malang, the limited optimization of digital tools by teachers presents a critical gap. In contrast, students exhibit a proclivity towards enhanced learning experiences facilitated by digital devices. This study endeavors to elucidate the outcomes of research and development pertaining to augmented reality video animation (ARVA) instructional materials, a mobile-based digital teaching resource. Adhering to the Lee and Owen model encompassing assessment/analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases, this research engages 18 fourth-grade students and two expert validators (design and material experts). The design expert validation yielded a commendable score of 109 (72.6%), indicative of adequacy, while material expert validation attained a score of 103 (68.6%), similarly meeting adequacy standards. Subsequently, post-implementation, students' average learning outcomes, with a mean score of 75.27, demonstrated a commendable understanding of materials science concepts, qualifying as "good" and meeting the minimum criteria for completeness. In conclusion, the integration of ARVA into pedagogical practices emerges as a promising avenue, bridging the gap between technological resources and effective learning outcomes, as evidenced by the positive impact on students' comprehension of materials science concepts. This research contributes valuable insights into optimizing digital tools for educational purposes, offering a blueprint for future enhancements in instructional materials.

Abstract

Currently, environmental damage has become a global issue that urgently needs to be resolved. One of the ways to prevent environmental damage is to develop environmental awareness within students. This strategy requires strong collaboration between schools, parents, and the community. The aims of this study was to find out the collaboration between schools, parents, and the community in developing students' environmental care attitudes. This study employed case study design. The process of collecting data using semi structured interview, non-participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis through several stages, namely data collection, data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was obtained through source and method triangulation and member checks. The results of the study show that schools, parents and the community take on their respective roles according to their main duties and functions. At the planning stage, the school acts as an initiator, parents and the community help provide suggestions. At the implementation stage, the school acts as the primary responsibility, parents as student assistants, and the community as school partners. At the evaluation stage, the school organizes the process and parents help through the behavior checklist sheet. Finally, at the follow-up stage, schools and communities collaborate to improve program quality, while parents accompany students during follow-up activities.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rise of cases regarding the decline in moral values, which makes the world of education considered to have failed to educate the younger generation. This is because many educational institutions prioritize cognitive values and override moral values. Therefore the government immediately responded to this, and emphasized the application of student character cultural values in the hope of creating a nation of quality and character. In accordance with the aspect of national education goals in Law No. 20 of 2003. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of 9S school culture in the formation of the religious character of students at SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The process of collecting data using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Data analysis methods consist of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is done by triangulation and member checks. The results of the study show that the 9S school culture contributes well to the formation of students' religious character values, besides that it can form other values that have been described by PPK (Strengthening Character Education). Factors supporting the implementation of the 9S school culture include the enthusiasm of teachers, students, school employees, parents, facilities and infrastructure in the form of posters supporting the 9S school culture, and a conducive school environment. While the inhibiting factors include teacher consistency in implementing and overseeing the 9S school culture, parenting patterns, and the social environment of student peers.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the profile of religious moderation of prospective students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. This goal is motivated by the strategic position of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teachers in efforts to mainstream religious moderation and prevent radicalism from an early age. The researcher used a quantitative approach with a descriptive quantitative type. Respondents in this study were 106 students, with details of 81 (76.4%) Semester I students, 14 (13.2%) Semester V students, 9 (8.5%) Semester VII students, the remaining 2 (1.9%) ) Semester III students and 1 (0.9%) Semester VI students. Collecting data using a closed questionnaire instrument with a total of 25 questions. The questionnaire was created using the Google Form application and distributed through the student batch Whatsapp group. The questions in the questionnaire are based on four indicators of religious moderation developed by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, namely (1) national commitment, (2) tolerance, (3) anti-violence, and (4) acceptance of tradition. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis techniques where the researcher described the data collected as they were without generalizing. The results showed that almost all respondents met the indicators of religious moderation required by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. This is evidenced by the high percentage of agree and strongly agree with the four indicators. However, even so, there are still respondents who show resistance to these four indicators. This fact has become a record of the Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang, especially the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education study program (PGMI).

Abstract

The research aim is to comprehensively reveal the construction of Islamic wasathiyah values developed by Integrated Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (IMI) of Ar-Roihan and how these values are internalized into their members. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The methods used to collect data are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model, which included four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawing. In order to obtain valid data, researchers used source triangulation techniques, triangulation methods, and extension observations. The results showed that the values of wasathiyah at IMI of Ar-Roihan were built based on the contents of the letter ‘Abasa verses 1-10 and the theory of multiple intelligences. This result is by the IMI Ar-Roihan condition, which has a high plurality, which includes the characteristics and needs, intelligence, religious background of students. Based on these two main foundations and plurality, IMI of Ar-Roihan developed eight main wasathiyah values, namely equality, justice, progress, brotherhood, openness, balance, moderate, and tolerance. The eight values are internalized through three curriculum components, namely intracuricular activities, extracurricular activities, and hidden curriculum.

Abstract

The Indonesian government continues improving teachers’ readiness to implement the Kurikulum Merdeka. Teacher readiness plays an important role in supporting the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka. This study aims to examine teachers’ readiness to implement the Kurikulum Merdeka. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach. Data was mainly collected by distributing online questionnaires through the Whatsapp chat application. The questionnaire was used to collect data on teacher readiness in (1) understanding of The Kurikulum Merdeka policies, (2) understanding of curriculum structure, (3) understanding of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), (4) readiness to develop lesson plans, (5) readiness to deliver instruction, and (6) readiness to conduct instructional assessments. Forty Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teachers were involved as respondents. They were in-service teachers who were students of the Teacher Professional Education Study Program (PPG). They came from the provinces of East Java, South Sulawesi, West Nusa Tenggara, Southeast Sulawesi, West Java, South Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara, and Bali. The data were analyzed using the quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that measuring the six key aspects of the Kurikulum Merdeka showed that teacher readiness was in the high category. However, some respondents still get a medium score in learning and assessment. So, the research respondents are sufficiently ready to implement the Kurikulum Merdeka but still need to improve their readiness for learning and assessment.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen tes literasi membaca dan literasi numerasi berbasis kompetensi minimum untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan metakognisi peserta didik pada materi larutan buffer. Metode penelitian berupa Research & Development (RnD) model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA N 1 Mojolaban. Teknik analisis data berupa hasil jawaban instrumen tes paket A dan B. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan permodelan rasch dan aplikasi Winsteps. Validitas tes paket A dan B melalui penilaian pakar didapatkan rata-rata skor sebesar 54 dari total skor 60 dan mencapai taraf validitas sangat baik. Desain instrumen tes paket A dan B yang dikembangkan dinyatakan reliabel dan valid dengan kondisi seluruh butir soal sesuai kriteria item fit, tidak ada yang bermasalah dan output interaksi antara responden dengan item sudah terdapat kesesuaian. Hasil tes kompetensi minimum tes paket A dan B memiliki proporsi ketercapaian tertinggi pada materi perhitungan pH sebesar 43% dan 36%. Profil metakognisi tes paket A paling besar dimiliki metakognisi level tinggi 61% sementara tes paket B paling besar dimiliki profil metakognisi level rendah dengan 42% dan level sedang 33%. Simpulan dari penelitian adalah instrumen tes yang dikembangkan dapat dikatakan valid, reliabel dan mampu mengukur profil metakognisi peserta didik dengan baik.
