Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a quiz-based assessment tool that can measure students' competence in physics. This research is a type of research on the development of a 4-D model (four-D model) which consists of four stages, namely: definition, design, development and dissemination. The results of the development research got validation results from linguists with an average of 3.57, a percentage of 89% and a "very valid" category. The results of material expert validation with an average of 3.6 percent from 90% and the "very valid" category. The results of media expert validation with an average of 3.4, the percentage of 85% and the "very valid" category. The results of the student observation sheet provide evaluation results of student observations with an average of 15.25% and a percentage of 95.3%. The results of the product capability questionnaire assessment results with the assessed aspects adjusted to the type of product produced with a total of 64 and an average of 3.2 with a proportion of 80% and categorized as "very good". The results of the student response questionnaire on the practicality of students with an average of 54.65, the proportion of 91% and the category "very practical". The results of the student effectiveness questionnaire with an average of 38 percent 95% and the category "very effective".

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi yang semakin cepat yang menandai era baru yaitu era revolusi industri 4.0. Era revolusi industri 4.0 merambah berbagai macam bidang termasuk bidang pendidikan khususnya pendidikan sains. Media pembelajaran adalah alat bantu yang digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar – mengajar dengan tujuan untuk membantu pendidik. Dalam memasuki era revolusi industry 4.0 sudah sewajarnya jika guru-guru khususnya sains mulai merubah paradigm tentang media pembelajaran yang sebelumnya berupa poster, gambar ataupun miniatur alat, menjadi era milenial seperti penggunaan Flipbook. Workshop ini awalnya ingin dibuat seperti workshop pada umumnya, tetapi karena pandemic sedang mewabah sehingga tidak memungkinkan untuk berkerumun, maka workshop berubah menjadi webinar tetapi tetap sesuia dengan konsep workshop pada umumnya. Metode dalam workshop ini meliputi;pembuatan poster webinar,peminjaman alat webinar,gladiresik webinar dan acara webinar serta pembagian sertifikat melalui email kepada peserta. Hasil yang didapat;masih banyak guru yang belum mengetahui tentang flipbook serta tertarik untuk membuat karena menarik khusunya dimasa pandemic ini, guru lebih sering menggunakan WA pada saat pembelajaran saat ini, antusias peserta sangat besar, hal ini terbukti dari 56 undangan yang disebar, sebanyak 45 peserta hadir saat acara webinar.

Abstract

Dedication activities are motivated by the importance of conducting classroom action research in making changes in improving the quality of education. The purpose of community service is to increase the interest of writing PTK for teachers and students create and innovative teachers have as an educator so that educator goals can be achieved. The formulation of the problem in this devotion is (1) How the teacher's fundamental knowledge about PTK. (2) How creativity and activity of teacher in writing. This religious activity is held for three meetings. The first meeting discusses fundamental knowledge of PTK by providing an initial skill test. The second meeting discusses the preparation of PTK proposals and the implementation of PTK. While at the third meeting discussed the processing of data results and preparation of the final report. Based on observations during community service activities, some positive results were obtained: (1) Participants showed very high attention to community service materials. (2) The participants actively asked in exposing the problems faced during this time when making PTK. (3) From the initial test consists of 20 questions about knowledge of PTK. From the initial data obtained, only two people or about 13.33% of teachers who can answer and get a score above the KKM, while 13 people or about 86.7% of teachers have not been able to answer and earn, score below KKM. After the final test is obtained, almost all teachers around 98.97% of teachers can answer and score above KKM. The result of community service is increasing the insight of high school teacher N 2 Plus Sipirok on the preparation of PTK (classroom action research).Keywords: Classroom action Research, teacher, proposal.

Abstract

his study aims to improve the ability to solve physics problems and student learning outcomes in the materials of Straight Motion Kinematics with the initial ability to use ordinary practicum methods and practicum methods with different procedures. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. The subject of this research is class X MIA 2 MAN Sipirok, each class totaling 30 students. Class X MIA 2 uses practicum procedures commonly used in schools. The treatment instruments used were syllabus and lesson plans, and for the test instrument used five questions for problem-solving skills and ten questions for student learning outcomes. The results obtained are the ability to solve physics problems in class XI MIA 2. After learning with practicum methods, the ability to solve problems and student learning outcomes increase. This is indicated by (1) Learning outcomes using the demonstration method have increased from cycle I students who did not pass 70% and passed 30%, in cycle II students who did not pass 25% and passed 75%. This happens because the demonstration method used in the first cycle is the usual demonstration method and in the second cycle uses a demonstration method with different procedures. (2) Aspect of problem-solving according to the indicator of problem-solving has increased namely identifying aspects in the first cycle of 43.52% and the second cycle to 72.53%, aspects of implementing the strategy in the first cycle 56.42% and in the second cycle to 77.63 %, aspects of formulating Physics problems in the first cycle 33.90% and in the second cycle to 76.72%, aspects of interpreting Physics problems in the first cycle 53.52% and in the second cycle to 86.15%. Keywords: Problem-solving ability, Classroom Action Research, MAN Sipirok

Abstract

Understanding the concept as one of the keys to success in studying science especially Physics, so do not have to memorize the formula but enough just by understanding the concept alone. Based on observations during community research activities, some positive results were obtained: Participants showed very high attention to the material using PhET Simulation.From the preliminary test in cycle I the pretest score of about 10% is able to answer to 77.5%, while in cycle II the value of the dropper about 20% increased to 97.5%. While for the activity of students which cover the realm of ability to use PhET Simulation from 73,75% in cycle I increase to 85% in cycle II, Inenthusiasm Attitude enthusiasm using PhET Simulation from 75% in cycle I increased to 86,25% in cycle II, In the field of cooperation in the group using PhET Simulation of 72.5% in the first cycle increased to 86.25% in cycle II. In the realm of the ability to use worksheets in PhET Simulation from 75% in cycleI increased to 88.75% in cycle II. In the sphere of participation in the discussion using PhET Simulation from 75% in the first cycle increased to 86.25% in cycle II. The result of the research is the increasing of concept comprehension and the increasing of student learning activity.Keywords:PhET Simulation, Conceptual Understanding, Learning Activities

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bersifat partisipatif dan kolaboratif. Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa dengan implementasi Strategi Pembelajaran Peer Tutoring pada siswa kelas XIPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batang Gadis tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dan mengetahui peningkatan Keaktifan Belajar siswa kelas X IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batang Gadis tahun ajaran 2020/2021 pada masing-masing siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi partisipasi, angket, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data kualitatif meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan analisis data kuantitatif dilakukan dengan mempersentasekan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi Strategi Pembelajaran Peer Tutoring dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri pada siswa kelas XIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batang Gadis tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Hal tersebut didukung dengan data penelitian yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada aspek mempersiaokan dan mengikuti pembelajaran, menyimakpertanyaan/isu yang terkait dengan pelajaran, berfikir kritis, mampu memeberikan ide dan menyelesaikan soal latihan, berani dan aktif mengemukakan pendapat, serta mampu memberikan kesimpulan terhadap materi pembelajaran. Perhitungan rata-rata skor peningkatan rasa percaya diri siswa pada setiap siklus juga menunjukkan peningkatan. Pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata skor rasa percaya diri siswa sebesar 55,73% dan pada siklus II diperoleh skor 89,15% atau peningkatan yang terjadi dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah 33,42%. Ditinjau dari hasil observasi yang didapat, berdasarkan hasil angket rasa percaya diri siswa yang mengalami peningkatan dan berada pada kategori “baik” sehingga sudah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan, amak disimpulkan penelitian ini sekesai pada siklus II dan diharapkan rasa percaya diri siswa dalam belajar Fisika terus meningkat guna tercapainya hasil belajar yan memuaskan.

Abstract

This study aimed to know the effect of science processskills of students and activity among the inquiry training and the conventional learning. This research is quasi-experimental study using pre-test and post-test design. The population of the study was students in Medan. Techniques that used to gain a simple is cluster random sampling, the first was grade as experimental class used the inquiry training model and the second was grade as the control class used the conventional learning. The instruments of this study were the science process skills test. The activity, affective, and psychomotor was used observation sheet. The analysis results that the inquiry training was better than that conventional learning in improving the science process skills of students. Keywords: Inquiry Training, Science Process Skills of Students

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to increase understanding of concepts and learning activities through inquiry-based performance assessment. This study consisted of 2 cycles conducted in class X-2 of SMA Negeri 2 Sipirok, South Tapanuli Regency with a total of 33 students. The characteristics of this class have activeness and low learning outcomes compared to other X classes. The indicator of success for student activity is at least 75%, and the indicator of classical learning outcomes is at least 85% of the number of students who take the test. During the study showed an increase in student activity and learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. in the first cycle, the average value of understanding the concept of 71.23 with 64.56% completeness, because it is less than 75%, it has not been said to be completed classically. In the second cycle, the average value of understanding the concept of 82.03 with 87.52% completeness, because more than 75%, has been said to be completed classically. in the first cycle, the average value of learning activities was 65.22 with 52.56% completeness, because it was less than 75%, so it was not yet classically complete. In the second cycle, the average value of learning activities is 80.65 with the completeness of 84.23%, because more than 75%, has been said to be completed classically. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of inquiry-based performance assessment can improve the understanding of concepts and physics learning activities in class X-2 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sipirok.

Abstract

Class action research (PTK) is carried out in order to know the increased understanding of the concept of physics on the subject of measurement through the utilization of the available IPA props in the school laboratory. Data obtained with the method of observation, and test method of the now method. Based on the results of observation understanding the physics of pre cycle amounted to 43.1% increased to 61.6% in cycle I and increased to 81.9% in cycle II. While the results of the now understanding the physics of the cycle I of 86.3% increase in cycle II becomes 90.9%. Meanwhile the results of tests on the pre-cycle average value of 63 with ketuntasan of 28.1% and has not yet reached the value of KKM who are already specified 71. In cycle I, the average value of the test results of students ' 71 with 34.4% and amounted to ketuntasan has reached the value of KKM. While on cycle II average value increased student test results that is being ketuntasan with 78 of 68.8%. Increased understanding of the concept of the learning results of physics students a minimum of 20% has been achieved. From those results showed that with the utilization of props IPA can improve understanding of physics students on the subject of measurement in SMA Negeri 1 Sayurmatinggi, so that utilization of props can be IPA be used as an alternative to increasing the understanding of physics. Keywords: class action research, understanding the concepts of physics

Abstract

Penggunaan alat peraga sederhana pada proses pembelajaran konsep dasar dinamika gerak lurus dilatar belakangi oleh sebagian besar siswa kelas X-A SMA Negeri 2 Plus Sipirok merasa kesulitan  menguasai  konsep  dasar dinamika gerak lurus. Hal ini ditunjukan dari hasil tes awal, sekitar 82,5% siswa be/um mencapai batas nilai ketuntasan be/ajar yaitu nilai 75. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil be/ajar serta menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang  menarik dan menyenangkan  bagi siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-A SMA Negeri 2 Plus Sipirok pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 201612017 yang  berjumlah 40 siswa. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan melalui 2 siklus. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik pengamatan, angket, dan wawancara untuk analisis data kualitatif dan penelitian ulangan harian untuk analisis data kuantitatif  Dari hasil analisis data nilai ulangan harian siswa pada siklus I diperoleh siswa yang belum tuntas be/ajar pada konsep dasar dinamika gerak lurus berjumlah 10 siswa atau 25% sedangkan siswa yang telah mencapai ketuntasan be/ajar yaitu memperoleh nilai 2': 75 sebanyak 30 siswa atau 75%. Nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 67,100. Dari analisis data nilai ulangan harian siswa pada siklus II diperoleh seluruhnya atau 100% siswa telah tuntas be/ajar pada konsep dasar dinamika gerak lurus dengan nilai rata-rata 79,375. Dari analisis data hasil pengamatan di peroleh rata-rata skor pada siklus I sebesar 3,404 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 3,629. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan a/at peraga sederhana dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam  proses  pembelajaran.  Dari  hasil angket menggambarkan bahwa dari 40 siswa sebanyak 84,375% menyatakan sangat setuju, sangat menarik, mudah, menyenangkan, dan sangat setuju untuk dilanjutkan, adapun sebanyak 15,625% siswa menyatakan setuju. Dengan demikian penggunaan a/at peraga sederhana dalam  proses  pembelajaran konsep dinamika gerak lurus mendapat tanggapan atau respon sangat positif dari siswa. Dari hasil wawancara dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan a/at peraga sederhana pada proses pembelajaran konsep  dasar  dinamika  gerak lurus lebih menyenangkan, menarik, lebih mudah dipahami, dan dimengerti, selain itujuga  menimbulkan sikap antusias dan lebih rileksKata-Kata Kunci     :Dinamika Gerak Lurug, Alat Peraga Sederhana
