Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa untuk mencapai ketuntasan aspek kognitif pada materi Momentum dan impuls dengan penerapan remediasi pembelajaran Fisika menggunakan model Guided Discovery Learning . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan one group pre-test and post-test design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat. Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 36 siswa. Data diperoleh melalui kajian dokumen, observasi, dan pre-test & post-test. Teknik analisis data dengan uji t pada taraf signifikansi 5 %. Hal ini juga dapat dilihat dari hasil tes awal diperoleh nilai rata-rata 69,72 dan nilai rata-rata tes akhir adalah 77,78. dari analisis data menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa pada taraf signifikasi 5 %, thitung = 7,680 > ttabel = 1,688. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa remediasi pembelajaran Fisika dengan menggunakan model Guided Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa dari 47,2 % menjadi 100%. Kata kunci: Remediasi, Guided Discovery Learning, Kognitif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) ada tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan kognitif antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran SAVI dan PBL; 2) ada tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan kognitif antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah; 3) ada tidaknya interaksi pengaruh antara penggunaan model pembelajaran SAVI dan PBL dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta.Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Analisis data menggunakan uji ANAVA dua jalan dengan frekuensi sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) ada perbedaan kemampuan kognitif siswa yang diberi pembelajaran SAVI dan PBL (Fa=4,13>F0,05;1;52= 4,00). Kemampuan kognitif siswa yang diberi perlakuan PBL lebih tinggi daripada yang diberi pembelajaran SAVI, 2) ada perbedaan kemampuan kognitif antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah (Fb=7,35>F0,05;1;52=4,00). Kemampuan kognitif siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah; dan 3) tidak ada interaksi pengaruh antara penggunaan model pembelajaran SAVI dan PBL dengan kategori kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi dan rendah terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa (Fab = 0,06 < F0,05;1;52 = 4,00).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Merancang dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran Fisika media pembelajaran Fisika SMA Augmented Reality Video berbasis Android (2) Memperoleh validasi dari ahli materi pemanasan global dan ahli media pembelajaran agar dapat menjadi media pembelajaran yang siap digunakan untuk kepentingan pembelajaran Fisika. Metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah 4D dengan modifikasi model menghilangkan langkah disseminate sehingga terdiri dari (1) Define (2) Design (3) Develop. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA N 1 Gemolong. Tahap pengujian kelayakan produk dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, praktisi, serta pengguna. Guru Fisika SMA N 1 Gemolong dipilih sebagai praktisi dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran AR Video, sedangkan peserta didik dipilih sebagai pengguna media pembelajaran AR Video. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan instrumen angket analisis kebutuhan peserta didik, angket analisis kebutuhan pendidik, angket kelayakan media pembelajaran oleh ahli materi, angket kelayakan media pembelajaran oleh ahli media, angket kelayakan media oleh praktisi serta angket respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan skala likert. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan satu produk media pembelajaran Augmented Reality Video bernama Glow-kAR (Global Warming on Augmented Reality). Aplikasi Glow-kAR beserta kartu bergambar dinyatakan layak oleh ahli media pembelajaran dan materi dengan kategori baik. Menurut data analisis deskriptif dengan skala likert, peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, dan XI MIPA 3 di SMA N 1 Gemolong memberikan respons dengan kategori baik terhadap media pembelajaran AR Video Glow-kAR

Abstract

Abstract: School-based management (MBS) has developed in Indonesia since 2000. It focuses on developing and improving quality of education by giving greater authority to school in making decisions together with all school members and local society. This research aims to determine the implementation of MBS in Surakarta junior high schools in 2020. The implementation studied is based on 7 (seven) components, they are of School-Based Curriculum and Learning Management, School-Based Students Management, School-Based Teachers and Education Staff Management, School-Based Facilities and Infrastructure Management, School-Based Financing Management, School-Based School and Community Relations Management, and School-Based Culture and Environment Management. Qualitative method is used in this study. Through a qualitative approach, the results for each MBS components described more deeply, to get the effectivity of implementation of MBS in Surakarta junior high schools.                                                   Keywords: School-based management, implementation, junior high schools Abstrak: Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS) telah berkembang di Indonesia sejak tahun 2000. MBS berfokus pada pengembangan dan peningkatan mutu pendidikan melalui pemberian kewenangan yang lebih besar kepada sekolah untuk mengambil keputusan bersama dengan melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah dan masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan MBS pada tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Surakarta tahun 2020. Ukuran keterlaksanaan MBS dikaji berdasarkan 7 (tujuh) komponen manajemen, yaitu Manajemen Kurikulum dan Pembelajaran Berbasis Sekolah, Manajemen Peserta Didik Berbasis Sekolah, Manajemen Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Berbasis Sekolah, Manajemen Sarana dan Prasarana Berbasis Sekolah, Manajemen Pembiayaan Berbasis Sekolah, Manajemen Hubungan Sekolah dan Masyarakat Berbasis Sekolah, serta Manajemen Budaya dan Lingkungan Berbasis Sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara komponen motivasi belajar dan komponen keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Pabelan yang berjumlah 180 siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 124 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan jenis simple random sampling menggunakan rumus menurut Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan atau tingkat kesalahan yang ditoleransi 5% atau 0,05. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket persepsi siswa terhadap motivasi belajar dan soal essay berpikir kritis yang divalidasi menggunakan RASCH. Prosedur pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan secara tatap muka dengan menyebarkan angket motivasi belajar dan menjawab pertanyaan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tahap analisis data dilakukan dengan pengujian prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas dengan uji Kolmogorof-Smirnov, uji homogenitas dengan uji Harley, dan uji hipotesis dengan uji korelasi product moment Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari kelima aspek motivasi belajar dan komponen keterampilan berpikir kritis terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara aspek ulet menghadapi kesulitan dengan: inferensi (Sig. 0,002; r 0,275); pengandaian dan integrasi (Sig. 0,030; r 0,195), aspek keinginan dan keinginan untuk berhasil dengan: klarifikasi terlebih dahulu (Sig. 0,040; r 0,184); anggapan dan integrasi (Sig. 0,021; r 0,207), dan aspek ketekunan belajar dengan: anggapan dan integrasi (sig. 0,025; r 0,201), sedangkan 20 uji korelasi lainnya menunjukkan hubungan yang tidak signifikanThis study aims to analyze the correlation in the components of learning motivation and the components of critical thinking skills. This research is a quantitative research using ex-post facto research method with a correlational approach. The research population was 180 students of 7th grade of SMP Negeri 2 Pabelan. The research sample amounted to 124 students. The sampling is using probability sampling technique with the type of simple random sampling using the formula according to Slovin with an error rate or error level that is tolerated 5% or 0.05. The research instrument consists of students' perceptions of learning motivation questionnaire and critical thinking essay questions which were validated using RASCH. The research procedure for collecting data was face-to-face by distributing learning motivation questionnaire and answering questions on critical thinking skills. The data analysis phase was carried out by testing prerequisite analysis, namely normality test using the Kolmogorof- Smirnov test, homogeneity test using the Harley test, and hypothesis testing using the Pearson product moment correlation test. The results showed that from the five aspects of learning motivation and components of critical thinking skills there was a significant correlation between the tenacious aspect of facing difficulties with: inference (Sig. 0.002; r 0.275); supposition and integration (Sig. 0.030; r 0.195), aspects of desire and desire to succeed with: advance clarification (Sig. 0.040; r 0.184); supposition and integration (Sig. 0.021; r 0.207), and aspects of persistence in learning with: supposition and integration (sig. 0.025; r 0.201), while the other 20 correlation tests showed an insignificant relationship

Abstract

Generation Z in Indonesia is facing conditions where there are a lot of challenges such as violences in school, career, and sustainibility development. Therefore, Indonesia has developed an Independent Curriculum to acomodate and promote student’s self-reliance as a part of Pancasila Profile dimensions as a preventive action to face 21st century challenges. This research aims to assess student’s self-reliance among generation Z in Junior High School. This study is quantitative research explaining the quality of instrument and classifying student’s abilities based on questionnaire analyzed by using Rasch Model. The sample used in this research consist of 104 students from Junior High School that have been given a P5 program and required to be tested using 26 test items. The result of self-relliance quistionnaire is analyzed using the rasch model. The findings explained that students score and mostly get the lowest score in gender or demographic analysis. In conclusion, student’s self-reliance among generation Z is still unequal and low neither in gender or demographic. Furthermore, school should train student’s self-reliance intensively to prepare students facing future challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the practicality of the CT-based learning integrated in the physics high school subject through a development of student worksheet. The CT-based learning adapted from Palts and Pedaste’s problem-solving cycle for CT and involved Weintrop’s taxonomy of CT activities in math and science as the reference activities. The study used Plomp’s model, started from the preliminary research, followed by the development phase and evaluation that contained the validity content and practicality evaluation. The content showed high validity scores thus it was continued with the practicality evaluation by carrying out a micro-evaluation to the target users that involved observation, interview, and questionnaire addressing. The evaluation showed that the learning activities through the student worksheet had high practicality scores thus it is possible to be used and adapted to other subject matters.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of project activities to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile at State Junior High School 1 (SMP Negeri 1) Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia, and the impact of its implementation on students. The profile of Pancasila students is: 1) Believer, devoted to God Almighty and has noble character, 2) Independent, 3) cooperation, 4) Global diversity, 5) Critical reasoning, 6) Creative based on local wisdom by making Batik, namely Batik Jumputan and Written Batik, in Solo (Surakarta), Central Java, Indonesia. The research population was in one of the junior high schools in Surakarta (SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta). The Pancasila Student Profile can be identified as starting to develop, currently developing according to expectations, and very developing. From the observations, it is known that the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) at SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta has developed according to expectations by 60% and has developed very well at 40%. However, there is still a weakness, namely that the assessment of the aspects of the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) as a group is not yet known individually so the aspects that stand out individually are not yet known.

Abstract

Teachers play a crucial role in preparing quality human resources. One Junior High School in Sragen has implemented the Kurikulum Merdeka (Merdeka Curriculum). Based on interviews, teachers are still experiencing challenges in developing learning instruments and implementing the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) model and the Project to Strengthen Students' Pancasila Profile. This community service team, Research Group Innovation in Science Classroom (ISC) provided training for teachers on the implementation of STEAM in the Merdeka Curriculum. The training included planning, implementation, mentoring, evaluation, and reporting. This Community Service Program has improved teachers' skills in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals.

Abstract

Learning is carried out to arrange and organize the environment around students to foster their learning process. The student's learning process is carried out through inquiry, responding to questions regarding a problem or a complex challenge. This learning process can be conducted by applying the project-based learning model. The project-based learning model can be applied in the field of information and communication technology in line with the 21st century, such as using Google Sites. Therefore, this research aims to describe the specifications of Google Sites as a learning media using the project-based learning model on alternative energy topics and describe the assessment results from experts, educational practitioners, and learners regarding Google Sites as a learning media using the project-based learning model on alternative energy materials. This development research employs the 4D model by Thiagarajan, which consists of the following stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The learning media obtained validation from two experts and assessment from educational practitioners regarding content, media, and language aspects. The development trial of this media was conducted with phase E students. Data collection techniques included interviews and questionnaires, with data analysis performed qualitatively and quantitatively. The learning media comprises a primary topic, alternative energy, organized based on project-based learning syntax. It consists of three menus: the welcome menu, the main page, and the author's identity. Validation by experts and assessment by educational practitioners indicate that the learning media meets excellent content, media, and language criteria. The development trial results show that the learning media meets excellent criteria at each trial stage.
